Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul Kebutuhan Informasi Anak Jalanan di kota Semarang dengan studi kasus anak jalanan di kawasan Simpang Lima dan Tugu Muda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kebutuhan informasi termasuk jenis dan tipe informasinya, upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi, dan mengidentifikasi hambatan anak jalanan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasinya. Teori kebutuhan informasi yang digunakan adalah teori kebutuhan informasi menurut Katz, Gurevitc, dan Haas, meliputi kebutuhan kognitif, afektif, integrasi personal, integrasi sosial, dan berkhayal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Adapun subjek penelitian yang dijadikan sumber dalam penelitian ini 5 (lima) informan anak jalanan dari Kawasan Simpang Lima dan Tugu Muda, dan 3 (tiga) informan kunci dari pakar psikologi dan pendamping anak jalanan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan melakukan observasi non partisipan, wawancara, dan kajian dokumen.Adapun sumber data diperoleh dari sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder.Untuk analisis datanya menggunakan analisis Milez dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan.Keabsahan data yang digunakan melalui triangulasi. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa, (1) anak jalanan lebih membutuhkan informasi baik informasi lisan dan terekam yang berkaitan dengan  dirinya sendiri dan lingkungan sekitarnya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, meliputi informasi mengenai penampilan (penggunaan tato, tindik, model baju, dan model rambut), pekerjaan (variasi lagu-lagu, keamanan lokasi kerja, lowongan pekerjaan), kegiatan yang disukai, dan informasi umum (informasi terkini, politik, teman atau komunitas, seksualitas); (2) dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasinya anak jalanan cenderung mencari informasi pada orang-orang disekitarnya, seperti teman atau komunitasnya; dan (3) terbatasnya dan kurangnya kemampuan dalam menggunakan sumber informasi, serta minat baca yang masih rendah merupakan hambatan anak jalanan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasinya.

Abstract

This study aims to describe a strategy for improving the quality of graduates of the Early Childhood Education Study Program as an effort to improve the quality of education at the Nusantara Islamic University of Bandung. The research was conducted at the Early Childhood Education Study Program at Nusantara Islam University, with the subject of the Quality Assurance Unit (UPM) of the Early Childhood Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. The method used in this study uses a qualitative approach with the case study method. Data collection techniques through direct observation, searching documents and archives, and in-depth interviews. The results showed that there were SPMI policies and concepts in the form of academic quality standard documents and non-academic quality standard documents compiled by the Quality Assurance Unit (UPM); Quality Assurance Unit (UPM) as the coordinator in the determination, implementation, evaluation, control and improvement of SPMI in the Early Childhood Education Study Program; SPMI implementation is carried out by drafting a design in the form of an SPMI cycle; The obstacles faced by leadership commitment are not optimal, the number of auditors is very limited, SPMI activities are only carried out as limited as routine steps taken in anticipation of obstacles in the form of providing experts in the implementation of SPMI, training for young auditors, fostering a spirit of quality assurance, conducting evaluations every semester. Utilization of the results of the SPMI evaluation in order to build a quality culture, BAN-PT accreditation and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aimed to obtain an overview of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition learning planning model to improve grade IX students' English reading skills at SMP Negeri 1 Jampang Tengah. The method used in this study was a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, and the research subjects were English teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Jampang Tengah. The data collection was done through document review, observation, and interviews. From the study results, it could be concluded that the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition Model's learning planning activities consisted of making annual programs, semester programs, syllabus, and lesson plans. In principle, it was good and appropriate to make lesson plans with the school's provisions and guidelines. Therefore, it was believed to achieve the specified competency standards and improve reading skills in English.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang perencanaan pembelajaran model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca bahasa Inggris siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 1 Jampang Tengah. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Inggris di SMP Negeri 1 Jampang Tengah. Adapun Pengumpulan data dilakukankan melalui pengkajian dokumen, observasi dan wawancara. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan perencanaan pembelajaran model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition terdiri dari pembuatan program tahunan, program semester, silabus dan RPP. Pada prinsipnya sudah baik dan sesuai dalam pembuatan perencanaan pembelajaran dengan ketentuan dan pedoman yang di tetapkan oleh pihak sekolah. Oleh karenanya, diyakini dapat mencapai standar kompetensi yang ditentukan dan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the implementation of the School Literacy Movement program through the Reading Challenge by using general effectiveness theory according to Campbell JP (1989) which consists of program success, target success, program satisfaction, input and output levels, and goal achievement. thorough. In this study, the approach used by researchers is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are collected through interviews and literature studies. The results of this study show that the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program at Al-Ghifari Plus High School is sufficient to achieve program success with the participation of students. In this program, although in general, not all students take part in this activity because it is not required, the obstacles faced in implementing the Reading Challenge program at Al-Ghifari High School are students having difficulties in describing it in a fishbone diagram because of the large number of school subject assignments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul preservasi koleksi di Perpustakaan SMA Negeri 1 Ciwidey. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kegiatan preservasi koleksi dan kendala yang dihadapi pustakawan dalam melakukan preservasi di Perpustakaan SMA Negeri 1 Ciwidey. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan kajian dokumen. Informan dalam penelitian berjumlah dua orang yang merupakan petugas struktural Perpustakaan di SMA Negeri 1 Ciwidey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa preservasi di perpustakaan SMA Negeri 1 Ciwidey telah dilakukan namun belum terlaksana secara maksimal. Kegiatan preservasi yang telah dilakukan, yaitu penjilidan; lem atau perekat; laminasi dan membersihkan ruangan perpustakaan. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi pustakawan dalam preservasi koleksi yaitu, kurangnya kesadaran dari pemustaka untuk turut menjaga koleksi yang ada; kurangnya tenaga pustakawan profesional; dan tidak tersedianya ruangan khusus kegiatan preservasi.Kata kunci: preservasi, perpustakaan sekolah, perpustakaan SMA Negeri 1 Ciwidey

Abstract

This research is entitled "Preservation of Historical Information Through Library Services: A Case Study of the Library of the University of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa". The purpose of this research is to find out how the efforts of the Bachelorwiyata Tamansiswa University Library in preserving historical information in the form of Ki Hajar Dewantara's teachings in the current era through various service breakthroughs that it creates. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The method approach used is a case study. Data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews, and document review. The informants in this study amounted to four people, namely the Head of the Library of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University, and library users. The results obtained in this study are the library has been able to seek and realize its role in preserving the historical information of Ki Hajar Dewantara's teachings. The library's efforts are to package the historical information through Student Affairs and Ki Hajar Dewantara Corner services which are supported by multimedia devices; room for discussion and/or learning activities; converting collections in digital form; reprint collections that are no longer published; cooperate with the Taman Siswa museum; and provide resource persons for discussion for researchers.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the role of the school library as an information source for teachers in improving the learning process. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Informants in this study were librarian and teachers of Madrasah Aliyah Mathla’ul Huda. Data collection techniques were carried out from December 2019 to February 2020 through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the information sources in the school library have been utilized by the teachers for a source to prepare learning implementation plans to improve the learning process. Based on the research results, the school library has realized its role as an information source for teachers in the learning process through library collections. In addition, 60% of the existing collections can meet the information needs of teachers. In realizing the role as an information sources, libraries experience obstacles in developing collections due to limited budgets, so that the number of books and subjects available is still lacking in meeting the needs of teachers. In addition, the library space is lacking, so it cannot accommodate large numbers of users. Therefore, the library makes various efforts to overcome, by collaborating with various related parties such as teachers and students in the selection and collections aquicition to suit their needs; cooperating with the Principal in the development of the library, especially in budget/funds.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of the whatsapp gateway service in the loan notification system (SINOPI) at the Pekalongan City Library and Archives Service. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The data collection technique used in this research is by conducting interviews. The informants in the study used purposive sampling technique, namely the technique of determining informants based on certain criteria. This study resulted in the finding that this service could at least minimize the delay in returning books by as much as 20 copies per day. This service has been used by all users who have registered as members of the Pekalongan City Regional Library. With this system, the service for extending the loan period is automatically served by the server without having any officers on guard and without having to come to the library location. This application development is easy to use and understand by its users and easy to access. The obstacles that often occur are notification information that is not conveyed or cannot be read by users due to several factors including; a power cut by PLN so that the server is down and unable to send notifications, the registered user cellphone number is no longer active / changed the number, because the internet subscription (kouta) of the user has run out and notifications are ignored.

Abstract

Library automation is one solution that can be used by libraries during the development of today's technology. There are many library automation software that can be used to support all library activities and library staff in carrying out their work effectively and efficiently. This study aims to determine the competence of library staff in the processing of library materials in cataloging by utilizing the INLIS Lite application in terms of knowledge, skills, behavior / work attitudes and obstacles in the Bandung Regency Archives and Library Service. This study uses social cognitive theory which is related to social learning theory. In this study using qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques in this study were through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results obtained in this study indicate that the competence of the library staff in the processing of library materials in cataloging by utilizing the INLIS Lite application from the aspect of knowledge, skills and behavior/work attitude can be said to be good.Keywords: social cognitive theory, competence, librarians, INLIS Lite applicationAutomasi perpustakaan merupakan salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan oleh perpustakaan dimasa perkembangan teknologi teknologi masa kini. Banyaknya software automasi perpustakaan yang dapat digunakan untuk menunjang segala kegiatan perpustakaan dan tenaga perpustakaan dalam melakukan pekerjaannya secara efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi tenaga perpustakaan bagian pengolahan bahan pustaka dalam pengkatalogan dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi INLISLite yang ditinjau dari aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan, perilaku/ sikap kerja dan hambatan yang ada di Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori social cognitive theory yang berkaitan dengan teori belajar sosial. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini ialah melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi tenaga perpustakaan bagian pengolahan bahan pustaka dalam pengkatalogan dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi INLIS Lite dari aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan dan perilaku/ sikap kerja dapat dikatakan baik.
