Abstract

In forming individuals, interpersonal relationships have an important role, through interpersonal relationships are expected to be able to encourage someone to have feelings, understanding, and support and help individuals to understand the expectations of other individuals. There are several theories to reduce this phenomenon, which specifically generalizes the concept of interpersonal relationships which have an important role in shaping individuals, through interpersonal relationships are expected to be able to encourage someone to have a feeling, understanding and support and help individuals to understand the expectations of others. Another individual In the film "No Longer the Same" starring Salshabilla Andriani and Yusuf Mahardika, there are several scenes depicting the interpersonal relationships between the characters in the film, this film was released on June 18, 2021 on Salshabilla Andriani's Youtube channel. The purpose of the study was to find out how the interpersonal relationships in the film "No Longer the Same". This type of research is descriptive qualitative, analyzing the interaction of interpersonal relationships in the short film "Tak Lagi Sama". So the theory that can be used in this research is interpersonal relationship. The results of this study are the interpersonal relationships that occur in the film are relationship development, relationship maintenance and relationship termination, there are also self-disclosure, process view and social exchange.

Abstract

Samarinda city has a shortage of extension workers which results in uneven information of farmers. Samarinda city BPP has program name Kaji Terap as an effort to improve agriculture. This study uses a communications audit method and a qualitative approach. The results of the Agriculture Office embody the same vision and mission, the BPP lacks extension agents and doesn’t make specific goals in terms of communication. The BPP process stage doesn’t discuss or create a communication strategy. The communication output stage isn’t correct, doesn’t determine the communication model, there is no communication media, isn’t precise in timing and there is no openness and honesty. In the outcome stage, noise communication wan foud from the results of rice production data. Recommendations at the input stage, namely the BPP can add professional can add professional human resources and BPP add specific goals in terms of communication. The process stages are BPP determining the right communication, selecting the right message content, using print media and audio-visual media. The ouput stage is the selection of the extension time, the BPP holds a meeting with all farmers, the BPP extension agent must be open and honest with the farmers and vice versa. The output stage is the selection of extension time, the BPP holds meeting with all farners, the BPP extension agents must be open and honest with farmers and vice versa. Furthermore, the outcomr stage, is it add extension material regarding information on how to calculate riceproduction yields production and technical factors BPP can communication With the Local Govermments and the PDAM.

Abstract

Pembelajaran secara daring yang telah dilaksanakan diberbagai wilayah di Indonesai akibat pandemi COVID-19 menjadi pengalaman yang berkesan. Pembelajaran daring menjadi pilihan dan diyakini dapat mempermudah proses pembelajaran selama pandemi. Namun, dampak dari kekurangan pembelajaran daring juga perlu segera diperhatikan. Pembelajaran daring dinilai kurang interaktif sehingga menyebabkan peserta didik kesulitan dalam memahami pembelajaran dan guru tidak dapat secara maksimal mengawasi peserta didik. Akibatnya, terdapat penurunan karakter pada diri peserta didik. Para stakeholder tentu perlu segera melakukan upaya-upaya dalam merevitalisasi kembali pendidikan karakter khsuusnya dalam kesempatan pembelajaran tatap muka yang saat ini dapat dilaksanakan kembali. Implementasi komunikasi persuasif menjadi salah satu strategi dalam melakukan penguatan tesebut. Peneltiain ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis revitalisasi pendidikan karakter melalui strategi komunikasi persuasif pada SMA Bina Mulya Gadingrejo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menujukan bahwa SMA Bina Mulya Gadingrejo mempunyai strategi komunikasi persuasif yang dilaksanakan melalui serangkain proses manajemen yang meliputi, pembuatan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi program-program pembinaa, perencanaan unsur-unsur komunikasi dalam setiap program hingga teknik komunikasi persuasif asosiasi dan integrasi yang sering diterapkan.

Abstract

Iklan merupakan salah satu media untuk menyampaikan pesan dengan cara yang menarik. Tidak hanya visual yang disajikan, namun juga tulisan, dan audio yang terdapat pada iklan juga menarik sebagai sarana untuk menyampaikan suatu pesan. Pada iklan Blue Band, mengangkat peran sosok ibu pintar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana iklan mampu merepresentasikan sosok ibu pintar yang terdapat pada tayangan iklan Blue Band yang dikaji melalui semiotika Roland Barthes dengan menganalisis melalui tanda dan simbol dalam makna denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah adanya makna ibu pintar yang digambarkan dalam iklan Blue Band yang ditandai dengan simbol dan tanda.

Abstract

Baitul Muslimin Indonesia (Bamusi) sebagai organisasi keagamaan sayap partai PDI Perjuangan menampilkan berbagai performance di platform media digital. Seni berpolitik yang dilakukan PDI Perjuangan melalui Bamusi mengambil peran di ruang digital, dan memperkuat keberadaan PDI Perjuangan. Menuju pemilu 2024 partai politik perlu intens dalam melakukan perfoma di media digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori manajemen reputasi digital, yaitu teori management reputasi dari Charles J. Formbun. Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah paradigma konstruktivisme. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dan kajian pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Bamusi menyadari pentingnya promosi melalui media sosial tetapi cenderung fokus pada target posting. Dalam hal perencanaan, ditemukan beberapa kendala dalam pengelolaan media sosial dan masih kurangnya evaluasi terhadap kegiatan tersebut. Bamusi menggunakan Instagram dan YouTube untuk mempromosikan koleksi, layanan dan kegiatannya. Bamusi TV untuk mengelola konten, dimulai dari mendiskusikan konten yang mau ditampilkan sesuai dengan momentum-momentum dan kemudian mencari strategi untuk menciptakan konten yang berbeda.

Abstract

The fast-growing technology on social media has changed the behavior of the public in receiving information. Today's social media use in Indonesia is growing so rapidly every year. According to Melansir Data Reportal, by 2023, there are 167 million social media users out of 153 million over the age of 18, which is 79.5% of the total population. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of digital branding and positioning strategies carried out by the University of Muhammadiyah Kotabumi with the approach of auditing communication using the method of SOSTAC. The results of this study show that the University has not yet had a field of human rights, so UMKO's identity is not maximum, branding, and postitoning are not well managed and the use of social media especially Instagram is not maximal even can be passively regulated.

Abstract

An Analysis a charming and unique television show, Sarah Sechan's talk show on the Net. TV always tries to present shows that are not only interesting, but also informative and entertaining so that they are received enthusiastically by viewers. In each episode of Sarah Sechan's talk show, there are various signs or signals in the context of communication, including from the stage, stage background, program theme song, and the words of Sarah Sechan (host/communicator) and guest stars (communicant), which of course have meaning that can be interpreted differently by viewers. This research adopts an interpretive and qualitative research method, where the specialist depicts the aftereffects of perceptions of communication semiotic analysis based on the ten types of signs in Charles Sanders Pierce's theory. Semuotics, as a science or method of analysis, is used to study signs. Communication semiotics focuses on signs or signals in a communication context that involves communication elements. From the examination results, it was presumed that the signs in Sarah Sechan's television show program capability as fascinating data and are not yet known to the overall population. The aim of this research is to find out whether there are signs or signal in the communication context that connect several aspects of communication in Sarah Sechan's talkshow program. The information presented in this program is not only unique and interesting, but also provides positive meaning to each viewer. Therefore it is worth watching as a source of meaningful entertainment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see the influence of using social media TikTok on Communication Science students at Muhammadiyah University Kotabumi class of 2022 on communication habits in communicating with their peers. This research method uses quantitative research methods whose main analysis is simple linear regression analysis. This research uses non-probability sampling techniques and purposive sampling design. A questionnaire designed based on key indicators from the two research variables was distributed to 73 active communication science students at Muhammadiyah University, Kotabumi. The results of exploratory data analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 26 show that the social media variable Tiktok (X) has a significant effect on the communication patterns (Y) of Muhammadiyah University Kotabum students. Meanwhile, Tiktok social media has a significant influence on the communication patterns of Communication Science students at Muhammadiyah University, Kotabumi

Abstract

"Buya Hamka Volume 1" is a biographical film that explores the life of Buya Hamka, an influential scholar and writer from Indonesia. This abstract presents an in-depth analysis of the moral message reflected in Buya Hamka's life journey in the film. The aim of the research is to understand the aspects of morality in the character Buya Hamka in the film Buya Hamka volume 1. Including spirituality, role modeling, social involvement and moral conflicts faced by the main character in the film. This research uses a qualitative method with a narrative paradigm approach. In the aspect of spirituality, the film shows Buya Hamka's spiritual journey, depicting his search for the meaning of life and religious values. Buya Hamka's example and ethics are reflected in every action and attitude, highlighting that his life decisions are consistent with the moral values he adheres to. Buya Hamka's social involvement in education, social welfare and political struggle is interpreted as a moral message about social responsibility and concern for society. Moral conflict becomes a dramatic moment in his life journey, where Buya Hamka is tested by the ethical values he believes in. His life decisions reflect his moral integrity and shape his character. Overall, this film not only provides a biographical picture of Buya Hamka, but also presents an in-depth reflection on moral and ethical values that can inspire viewers in living their daily lives.

Abstract

Communication is a crucial part of social life within a community. In this digital era, communication and interaction between individuals can take place through various means, one of which is social media. In many human activities, effective communication is essential to ensure that messages reach the recipients successfully. Persuasive communication is particularly important for influencing recipients in specific contexts, such as promoting the communication science program at UMKO. This research adopts a qualitative approach with interview data collection techniques. The purpose of persuasive communication by UMKO communication science students in promotions is to attract the interest of prospective students to the communication science program itself. Promotion efforts are carried out through social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Persuasive communication on social media proves to be quite effective, given the widespread use of these platforms for obtaining desired information. Through persuasive communication in promotional activities, it aims to influence prospective students pursuing higher education at the university level to choose the communication science program.
