Abstract

The results of initial observations carried out in Class XII of Madrasah Aliyah DDI Alliritengae Maros, showed that the student was completely unable to write. Writing skills are still lacking because teachers find it difficult to teach writing skills. Likewise, learning techniques are still teacher-centred and students are less active in the learning process. Apart from that, teachers are less selective in choosing learning models, especially writing skills. Writing skills are one of students' language skills. At MA DDI Alliritengae Maros, Maros Regency, the use of the Explicit Instruction Model to support writing skills is increasingly being developed in the student environment. The Explicit Instruction model has been proven to have advantages in presenting the results of a writer's writing to other people. The results of data analysis provide a clear picture so that a correct understanding of the student's condition is related to the use of the Explicit Instruction Model in the writing process. High school students can optimize the performance of their writing skills through the Explicit Instruction Model to improve the quality of learning and make it easier to manage widely used writing.

Abstract

Perlis has extraordinary natural wealth with green rice fields, stunning mountains, and rich biodiversity. This indicates great potential for ecotourism development in this area. The aim of this research is to explore ecotourism strategies in Perlis Malaysia to become one of the main destinations in Malaysia for sustainable ecotourism. This research adopts a qualitative method that places the researcher as the main instrument, carries out triangulation techniques for data collection, and applies inductive analysis. The research results show that cross-institutional collaboration is key to optimizing the tourism potential of the Perlis ecotourism area, creating positive effects for the local community and the tourism industry as a whole. The availability of amenities and public facilities in the Perlis ecotourism area is still not optimal, and promotion plays a crucial role in introducing, convincing, and maintaining interest in certain tourist products or destinations. In this case, the use of effective promotional media is the key to increasing the popularity and public awareness of Perlis ecotourism. Promotional strategies must take into account variations in audience interests and utilize various marketing tools, such as advertising, face-to-face sales, and publicity, to achieve optimal marketing goals.

Abstract

This project aims to explore and evaluate the effectiveness of the gotong royong program in fostering a sense of solidarity and cooperation among students at the Indonesian School of Kuala Lumpur. The method used in this community service project involves a direct immersion approach. Data was collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with students and teachers, and analysis of documentation related to the program's implementation. The results indicate that the gotong royong program is effective in strengthening social relationships among students. Active participation in gotong royong activities encourages students to help each other, work together, and build a sense of responsibility towards the school environment. In this context, the program not only improves school facilities but also creates positive emotional bonds among the participants. The implications of this project highlight the importance of expanding and sustaining gotong royong activities as an integral part of the school curriculum. Thus, schools can become environments that promote social values such as cooperation, solidarity, and care among students.
