Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) play a crucial role in shaping generations with strong moral character and Islamic values. However, the quality of teaching staff in these institutions often still requires improvement, particularly in understanding legal regulations relevant to the education sector. This community service activity aims to enhance the legal awareness and understanding of the teaching staff at Pondok Pesantren Dayah Jamiah Al-Aziziyah Batei Iliek, Samalanga, Bireuen, regarding the regulations governing education, especially within the pesantren environment. The method employed in this activity includes sosialisasis and interactive discussions using a participatory approach. The activity was attended by all teaching staff and was guided by experts in the fields of law and education. The results indicate an increase in the knowledge and awareness of the teaching staff about the importance of understanding regulations to support educational processes that align with legal standards. It is hoped that this activity can be continued through broader mentoring and outreach programs to strengthen the overall education system in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Service activities for the Indonesian community taking place at the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School (SIKL) aim to build Indonesian people's awareness of education in the Indonesian community in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The focus of this activity is the role played by parents in supporting children's education. Through a series of educational outreach activities, such as seminars, workshops and group meetings, efforts are made to increase understanding of the importance of education and the responsibility of parents in maintaining their children's educational costs. The method of implementing activities involves collaboration between SIKL schools, the government and community organizations, with the aim of creating an environment that supports the growth and development of Indonesian diaspora children in Malaysia. It is hoped that the results of this activity can make a positive contribution in strengthening the role of parents in supporting children's education, as well as increasing their access to quality education. Thus, this community service activity is a concrete step in realizing the vision of inclusive and sustainable education for the Indonesian community in Kuala Lumpur.

Abstract

In terms of the medical field, it has evolved in tandem with human capabilities and the passage of time. Humans, like all other living things, will inevitably suffer from a variety of illnesses, some minor and others serious. People are encouraged to look for other treatment options in an attempt to overcome this illness, and as a result, it is discovered that the law of treatment—which stipulates which treatments are permitted and which are haram—is connected to the usage of haram products and chemicals. Al-Baqarah verses 168 and 172 provide justification for the use of halal and good food, despite the commandment to abstain from haram items. In deciding how to regard haram items, scholars of the mujtahid school also cite QS Al-Baqarah verse 173. This provider makes use of socialization methods and questions and answers in the studio at...., it is hoped that the studio group will be able to know the law of treatment with haram goods/substances in accordance with the Shari'a specified in Islamic law.

Abstract

The digital era has brought significant changes to society, particularly in the behavior and morality of the younger generation. The development of information and communication technology, especially social media, has become an inseparable part of students' lives, while simultaneously presenting new challenges for Islamic educational institutions in fulfilling their role in character formation. This study aims to examine the strategies implemented by Islamic educational institutions in shaping students’ character in the digital age, as well as to evaluate their effectiveness in facing contemporary challenges. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a literature review as the main data collection technique. The findings show that the implemented strategies include the integration of Islamic digital education, exemplary teacher models, the application of technology in teaching Islamic values, the empowerment of digital-based religious activities, and the strengthening of parental and teacher supervision and guidance roles. Although some institutions have successfully implemented these strategies, challenges such as a lack of digital literacy, weak supervision, and limited resources remain significant obstacles. This study recommends the importance of collaboration among educational institutions, families, and society in formulating policies and character-building innovations that align with technological developments. These findings are expected to contribute to strengthening an Islamic education system that is responsive to the dynamics of the digital era.ABSTRAKEra digital telah membawa perubahan besar dalam kehidupan masyarakat, khususnya dalam perilaku dan moral generasi muda. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, terutama media sosial, telah menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dari kehidupan siswa, namun sekaligus menghadirkan tantangan baru bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam menjalankan peran pembentukan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi yang diterapkan oleh lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk karakter siswa di era digital, serta mengevaluasi efektivitasnya dalam menghadapi tantangan zaman. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi pustaka sebagai teknik pengumpulan data utama. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang diterapkan meliputi integrasi pendidikan digital Islami, model keteladanan guru, penerapan teknologi dalam pembelajaran nilai-nilai keislaman, pemberdayaan kegiatan keagamaan berbasis digital, serta penguatan peran kontrol dan pendampingan oleh orang tua dan guru. Meskipun beberapa lembaga berhasil mengimplementasikan strategi tersebut secara efektif, namun hambatan seperti kurangnya literasi digital, pengawasan yang lemah, serta keterbatasan sumber daya masih menjadi tantangan signifikan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya kolaborasi antara lembaga pendidikan, keluarga, dan masyarakat dalam menyusun kebijakan dan inovasi pembentukan karakter yang sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi kontribusi dalam penguatan sistem pendidikan Islam yang responsif terhadap dinamika era digital.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini berfokus pada peran guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam penguatan pendidikan antikorupsi di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Pendidikan antikorupsi di sekolah sering kali hanya dipandang sebagai tanggung jawab umum, sementara peran khusus guru agama belum banyak diteliti. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dapat memperkuat pendidikan antikorupsi melalui pendekatan berbasis nilai agama dan keteladanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan dan wawancara dengan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di beberapa SMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru agama memiliki peran penting dalam menanamkan nilai kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan integritas kepada siswa, baik dalam pembelajaran langsung maupun melalui keteladanan. Penulis menyarankan agar kurikulum pendidikan antikorupsi lebih mengakomodasi peran guru agama dan memberikan pelatihan yang lebih mendalam bagi mereka. Kontribusi penelitian ini adalah menawarkan pendekatan praktis bagi guru dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai antikorupsi di dalam pembelajaran agama dan memberikan wawasan baru tentang pentingnya peran guru agama dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang berintegritas.

Abstract

Metode Tashil at-Thullab merupakan suatu metode cepat bisa membaca kitab kuning. Tashil at-Thullab merupakan metode baru yang dikembangkan oleh Dayah Mudi Mesra yang bertujuan untuk memudahkan membaca kitab kuning khususnya bagi para santri yang baru belajar kitab. Training Tashil at-Thullab dilaksanakan terhadap guru muda sebagai calon pengajar di Dayah Jamiah Al-Aziziyah Batee Iliek Kecamatan Samalanga Kabupaten Bireuen Provinsi Aceh. Pelaksanaan training ini dilaksanakan selama 3 hari mulai Tanggal 20-22 Mei 2023. Kegiatan training metode Tashil Al-Thullah sudah dilaksanakan sehingga dengan menggunakan metode cara cepat baca kitab kuning ini, para guru di Dayah Jamiah Al-Aziziyah nantinya dapat memperoleh manfaat maksimal dari pembacaan kitab kuning dalam waktu yang lebih efisien. Para guru diharapkan tetap konsisten dan disiplin dalam menerapkan metode ini agar pemahaman dan penghafalan menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the inclusive pedagogical strategies employed by Islamic Education (PAI) teachers to instill multicultural values among students at SMA Negeri 2 Ungaran, Semarang Regency. Using a qualitative case-study design, data were collected from the school principal and five PAI teachers through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis (lesson plans, syllabi, and school records). Data were processed using thematic analysis with iterative reduction, display, and conclusion drawing, supported by source and technique triangulation to ensure trustworthiness. The results indicate that teachers enact a constellation of inclusive strategies, interactive discussions, contextual case analyses, heterogeneous group work, project/value-based tasks, and explicit role modeling, while positioning themselves as facilitators, mediators, and moral exemplars in diverse classrooms. Enabling conditions include a school culture that affirms difference, strong principal support, and active student participation; constraints involve limited instructional time, uneven prior religious knowledge, occasional student resistance, and scarcity of contextually rich learning materials. Student responses are broadly positive, marked by higher participation, increased empathy, and improved cross-background collaboration, suggesting early prejudice reduction. Overall, the strategies are effective yet variably implemented across teachers and bounded by institutional constraints, indicating the need for sustained support to consolidate outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic dress guidance at SMA Negeri 1 Tanah Jambo Aye and to identify the challenges encountered in the process. The research employs a qualitative method with a field research approach. The data consist of the role of Islamic education teachers in internalizing the values of Islamic dress among female students, collected through observation, interviews with teachers, students, and the principal, as well as documentation of coaching activities. Data were analyzed using an interactive model consisting of three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the school has made systematic efforts to instill the values of Islamic dress through school regulations, daily habituation, and the exemplary conduct of teachers. However, several challenges remain, including the influence of social media and popular culture that promote modern fashion trends inconsistent with Islamic principles, limited supervision by teachers both inside and outside the school, and resistance from a small number of students who perceive the Islamic dress code as a restriction on freedom of expression. This study concludes that fostering Islamic dress values requires continuous synergy between schools, parents, and the community to ensure that these values are deeply internalized and consistently practiced by students.

Abstract

Islam as religion that applies universally and etemally encourage its people to have a positive and constructive attitude  towords the development of science and technology (Science and technology),as long as science and technology is in line with Islamic law. The issue of genetic engineering the most recent isuue of cloning has become a hot ethical polemic in the west. This paper explores the Islamic view around the issue of cloning. According to Islamic law, it tums out that is no clear information that regulates this isuue.Among the mujtahids there is no question cloning animals, but if this is applied to human it will cause problems. Because cloning  without the need for male sperma/husband. Without going through marriage, marriage guardian issues and  other. This discourse is still developimg, but to arrive at a fatwa that allows it is still waiting for the continuation of the human cloning process in the future.
