Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of TikTok social media on the social behavior of adolescents in Bandung City. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 200 adolescent TikTok users through questionnaires, then analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that the intensity of TikTok use had a significant effect on adolescent social behavior, with a positive correlation between the two variables. Intensive use of TikTok affects the way adolescents interact, imitate trends, and adopt new social norms, both in online and offline environments. In addition to providing a positive influence on aspects of creativity and social engagement, TikTok also has the potential to trigger antisocial behavior and a tendency to follow risky behavior. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of digital literacy, the role of parents, and policies that support healthy social media use for adolescents.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of digital literacy, public policy, and public participation in increasing environmental awareness in Indonesia. Through multiple linear regression analysis, this study evaluates the influence of these three variables on environmental awareness, involving 300 respondents from various regions in Indonesia. The results show that digital literacy, public policy, and public participation have a significant positive effect on environmental awareness. Digital literacy allows people to access information about environmental issues more quickly and widely, good public policies provide clear directions regarding environmentally friendly behavior, and public participation encourages active involvement in preserving the environment. The synergy between these three factors is essential in creating greater awareness of the importance of environmental conservation in Indonesia. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions in identifying effective strategies to increase environmental awareness through digital literacy, appropriate policies, and public participation.

Abstract

This bibliometric study explores the evolution and thematic landscapes of social mobility research within the digital age, drawing on an extensive dataset derived from the Scopus database from 2000 to 2025. We conducted a comprehensive analysis to identify significant trends, collaboration patterns, and emerging themes in the literature. Our findings highlight the enduring relevance of traditional factors such as education, income, and occupation in discussions of social mobility, while also pointing to the growing importance of digital literacy and access. The study reveals a dynamic field characterized by robust international collaborations, with a notable increase in contributions from non-Western countries. Additionally, the analysis suggests significant gaps, particularly concerning the long-term effects of digital technologies on social mobility and the integration of mental health factors. These insights are crucial for informing policy and future research directions, ensuring that advancements in digital technology foster rather than hinder social mobility.

Abstract

This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of research on social welfare in multicultural societies, examining publication trends, key themes, and collaborative networks. Using data from Scopus and analyzed through VOSviewer, the study identifies major research clusters centered on migration, cultural diversity, government policies, and socioeconomic factors. Findings indicate a shift in scholarly focus from economic disparities and human rights to emerging concerns around digital transformation, social integration, and inclusive welfare policies. The study also highlights regional disparities in research contributions, with Western scholars dominating the discourse while emerging research networks develop in Asia and other regions. Additionally, gaps in comparative welfare studies, the role of non-state actors, and the impact of digital technologies on welfare provision are identified as future research priorities. These findings offer valuable insights for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners seeking to enhance welfare policies in diverse and evolving social contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the micro-business financing provided by Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) Balung and its impact on increasing the business capital of its clients. Micro businesses, which are typically managed by small-scale entrepreneurs, often face difficulties in accessing formal financing. Therefore, BMT Balung, as a microfinance institution, plays an essential role in providing financing to support the sustainability and development of micro businesses. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive analysis method to gather data from clients who have received financing from BMT Balung. The data were obtained through interviews and questionnaires from 50 respondents who are micro-business owners. The results of the study show that the financing provided by BMT Balung significantly increases the business capital of its clients. This financing positively influences the micro businesses' ability to expand production capacity, purchase raw materials, and improve product quality. Furthermore, it has a positive impact on income and the welfare of the entrepreneurs. However, challenges in repaying installments remain a concern for some clients. The conclusion of this study is that the financing provided by BMT Balung plays a strategic role in increasing micro-business capital and supporting business development.

Abstract

The rapid rise of BookTok, a book-related community on TikTok, has significantly impacted the reading habits of Generation Z in the digital age. This study examines the influence of the BookTok phenomenon on the reading behavior of Generation Z in Indonesia using a quantitative approach. A total of 120 participants completed a survey designed to assess their engagement with BookTok, reading frequency, genre preferences, and the adoption of digital reading platforms. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 25, employing descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, correlation, and regression analysis. The results show that higher engagement with BookTok is positively correlated with increased reading frequency, diversification of reading genres, and a preference for digital reading formats. The findings suggest that BookTok plays a significant role in shaping the reading habits of Generation Z by encouraging them to read more, explore various genres, and adopt digital reading technologies. These insights have implications for the publishing industry, educational institutions, and libraries in their efforts to engage younger generations with literature in the digital era.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of the digital nomad economy on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in popular destinations in Indonesia, including Bali, Yogyakarta, and Lombok. Using a quantitative research approach, data were collected from 120 MSME owners and managers through a structured questionnaire measured on a 1-5 Likert scale. The findings, analyzed with SPSS version 25, reveal that the digital nomad economy creates significant opportunities for MSMEs, including revenue growth, an expanded customer base, and improved service quality. However, challenges such as increased competition, gentrification, and technological barriers were also identified. Regression analysis showed that adaptation strategies, customer engagement, and perceived challenges significantly influence business performance. This study underscores the need for capacity-building initiatives, inclusive growth policies, and enhanced access to technology to ensure sustainable benefits from the digital nomad economy for local MSMEs.

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of Learning and Development Programs, Digital Communication Platforms, and Performance Management Systems on Employee Productivity in Indonesian digital workplaces. The quantitative approach was utilized with a sample of 200 employees using a Likert scale (1-5). Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was utilized for data analysis. Results show that all three variables significantly and positively impact employee productivity, with the greatest effect seen in Digital Communication Platforms. The model explains 72% of the variance in productivity, as it underscores the necessity for end-to-end strategies integrating employee development, communication tools, and performance systems to boost productivity. Such findings have practical and theoretical consequences for fostering efficiency in the digital workplace.
