Abstract

This study provides a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of research on digital technologies in cultural heritage, focusing on key trends, innovations, and interdisciplinary collaborations. By analyzing co-occurrence networks, author collaborations, and publication density, the study reveals a growing emphasis on the integration of technologies such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and 3D scanning in the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage. These digital tools are increasingly used to create immersive experiences and preserve both tangible and intangible heritage. The study also highlights the rising importance of addressing climate change's impact on heritage sites and explores ethical concerns related to data ownership, authenticity, and equitable access. Despite the many benefits of digital preservation, challenges such as the digital divide and the potential commodification of heritage remain significant obstacles. The analysis underscores the need for interdisciplinary collaborations and the development of sustainable, inclusive digital heritage initiatives to ensure that these technologies benefit all stakeholders. The study concludes by identifying key areas for future research, including the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technologies into cultural heritage management and the exploration of climate change's long-term impact on heritage preservation.

Abstract

Public information services from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) play an important role in mitigating hydrometeorological disaster risks. This study analyzes the processes and factors that influence public information services at the Class I Radin Inten II Meteorology Station, especially in areas affected by flooding in Bandar Lampung City. With a qualitative descriptive approach, data were obtained through observation, interviews, and questionnaires involving 12 key informants and 41 respondents from the community. The results of the study indicate that although services have been digitized, the provision process is optimal, but regulations are needed as a legal umbrella for public service activities, and the need for audience understanding is still a challenge. These findings are the importance of optimizing communication strategies and collaboration with stakeholders to improve service effectiveness.

Abstract

The zoning policy in New Student Admissions (PPDB) aims to equalize access and quality of education in Indonesia. This study analyzes the implementation of the zoning policy for prospective new students on the border of Bandar Lampung City and South Lampung Regency, focusing on SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung and SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Bintang. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and document studies. The study shows that the main obstacle is administrative inconsistency even though the distance criteria have been met. Policy recommendations include increasing socialization and revising regulations to accommodate the needs of border communities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the working period of civil servant lecturers and education on work wages in side jobs (jobs outside the duties as civil servants) both directly, and through work productivity. The sample of 100 respondents was selected purvosively from the population of PTN lecturers at Mulawarman University who have a minimum education of S2 and group IIIc, by using regression analysis (Structural Model), the results showed that: (1) The working period of civil servants and formal education each had a positive and significant effect on the work productivity of lecturers. The implication is that the competence of lecturers is largely determined by educational factors and work experience. (2) However, only formal education has a significant effect on side job wages, while work experience and work productivity have no significant effect. Indicate that there is no other way to improve the additional employment income of lecturers, except by improving competence through further education.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has accelerated the flow of information widely and rapidly, but it also presents challenges in the form of hoaxes that can harm individuals and organizations. In the corporate context, mass layoffs (PHK) often become targets of fake news, causing panic and instability in the workplace. Employees play a crucial role in countering these hoaxes through strong digital literacy. This article examines how employees' digital literacy can contribute to combating mass layoff hoaxes on social media to maintain corporate stability. Using Katherine Miller’s organizational communication theory and the concept of digital literacy, this study highlights the importance of education and digital awareness in the workplace.

Abstract

Tourism destinations often struggle with sustainability and innovation challenges, as observed in Wisata Tengah Sawah Gubug, Grobogan, Central Java. This research employs a qualitative approach to explore the issues of under-maintained facilities, limited accessibility, and lack of innovation, which have contributed to declining visitor numbers. Data were collected through interviews with visitors and management, field observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal several critical issues: inadequate facility maintenance, dependency on seasonal visitors, and a lack of innovative attractions. These factors undermine the destination's competitiveness and sustainability. To address these challenges, the study recommends routine maintenance, the introduction of innovative attractions, improved accessibility, and collaborative funding strategies involving private sector partnerships. This study concludes that the application of an approach focused on sustainability and innovation can transform Wisata Tengah Sawah Gubug into a model for green and rural tourism development through environmental practices, community involvement, innovative attractions, policy frameworks.

Abstract

The phenomenon of recruiting celebrities as legislative members has become a trend in various countries, including Indonesia. This phenomenon has sparked debates, particularly concerning the capabilities, credibility, and motivations of celebrities in politics. This theory likens social life to a stage performance, where individuals play specific roles to gain social recognition. This study employs a qualitative research method with a case study approach on several celebrities who have become legislative members. The findings indicate that many celebrities utilize their popularity as social capital to gain voter support but often face challenges in adapting to the complex legislative role. The study also reveals that the performance displayed in public often differs from the reality behind the scenes. In conclusion, the image-building strategies employed by celebrity politicians significantly determine their success in establishing political legitimacy in the eyes of the public.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of social conflict, cultural diversity, and tolerance on social integration in urban communities. Using survey methods and multiple linear regression analysis, data were collected from 300 respondents living in urban areas with high levels of cultural diversity. The results show that social conflict has a significant negative effect on social integration, while cultural diversity and tolerance have a significant positive impact. Social conflict reduces the level of social cohesion and strengthens segregation, while cultural diversity and tolerance encourage social engagement and increase community harmony. These findings indicate the importance of policies that support conflict management and the promotion of diversity and tolerance as strategies for building a more integrated society in urban environments. This study also highlights the need for further research in other urban contexts to enrich the understanding of the dynamics of social integration.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of political participation, civic education, and social media on the political engagement of generation Z in Indonesia. Using a survey method, data were collected from 500 respondents consisting of college and high school students aged 18 to 24 years. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to identify the relationship between independent variables and political engagement. The results showed that all three variables had a significant influence, with civic education and social media use contributing positively to the level of political engagement. These findings indicate the importance of developing educational programs that emphasize civic education and the use of social media as a tool to encourage political participation among the younger generation. This study suggests that educational institutions and the government should work together to create an environment that supports the political engagement of generation Z.
