Abstract

This study aims to explain the planning, implementation and supervision of the Dayah Tahfizul Qur'an Curriculum Zurriyatul Qur'ani Al-Ma'arif Lhokseumawe. This research is a field study (field research) with a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. this research uses the main data sources, namely dayah leaders, dayah managers, school principals at Dayah Tahfizul Qur'an Zurriatul Qur'ani Al-Ma'arif Lhokseumawe make a systematic, factual and actual description of the facts, nature and relationships between existing phenomena. Data collection techniques by means of in-depth interviews and text analysis. The research results obtained 1) The planning of the dayah curriculum in improving the quality of education in the Dayah Tahfizul Qur'an Zurriyatul Qur'ani Al-Ma'arif Lhokseumawe has been going well as stated in the division of tasks in the Dayah Tahfizul Qur'an Zurriyatul Qur'ani Al-Ma 'arif Lhokseumawe, so that the quality of dayah education continues to increase as expected, 2) The implementation of the dayah curriculum in improving the quality of education at Dayah Tahfizul Qur'an Zurriyatul Qur'ani Al-Ma'arif Lhokseumawe goes well, the implementation uses two curriculum and integrating it, namely the curriculum of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia with the Salafi Dayah Curriculum, and its implementation has been carried out in accordance with the management function, namely with the process of planning, organizing, implementing and supervising and evaluating by the leadership of the Dayah Tahfizul Qur'an Zurriyatul Qur'ani Al-Ma'arif Lhokseumawe, and 3) Oversight of the dayah curriculum management in improving the quality of education at Dayah Tahfizul Qur'an Zurriyatul Qur'ani Al-Ma'arif Lhokseumawe, there is internal supervision from the founders and leaders of the foundation in planning and implementing the curriculum which has also been going well, and external supervision from related agencies and the community has also been going well.

Abstract

This thesis is a research on the moral values that exist in several characters and events in the novel Lampuki. This novel is one of Arafat Nur's best works. This novel is concerned with the Aceh conflict and describes in detail about war, social behavior, characters, society, and human values. Many moral messages can be learned, as well as adding insight into the appearance of Aceh's struggle at that time. Therefore, the scope of this research is focused on "An Analysis of Moral Values Through Some Characters". The problem in this research is (1) How is the description of Acehnese people's relations regarding moral values in the novel? (2) What are the moral values of some characters in the novel? The methods used in this research are (1) library research, (2) and the techniques used are: reading the novel many times, taking the information related to the topic, specifying the data following the information. The results of this research concerned moral values in the several characters in the novel are; (1). The morality of divinity: worship, understanding religion, loving teachers, and some bad morals, namely, not covering the private parts, and adulterous; (2) Ideological morality and philosophical morality: care about unity and integrity; (3) The morality of ethics and decency: patience, caring for others, friendly, mercyful, humility, and protective. And there are bad morals, namely, fierce, arrogant, and opinionated; (4) The morality of discipline and legal morality: refusing to become a marijuana farmer, refusing to consume marijuana, and bad morals are selling marijuana. Abstract

This research entitled is “The Use of Google Classroom During Pandemic In Teaching Oral Descriptive Text (a Collaborative Classroom Action Research at SMA Negeri 1 Peusangan Selatan)”. The researcher raised the problems of this research, namely: the first, How does the students improve their Oral Descriptive text through Google Classroom? And the second, How do students respond after using Google Classroom in Teaching Oral Descriptive text to the student at SMA 1 Peusangan Selatan?. The purpose of this study is to know the students improve their Oral Descriptive text through Google Classroom and to know the students respond after using Google Classroom in Teaching Oral Descriptive text to the student at SMA 1 Peusangan Selatan. The method used in this research is Collaborative Classroom Action Research. The researcher collaborated with teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Peusangan Selatan. The instruments used in this research are test, observation checklist and questionnaire. Based on the result of the data analysis, it can be found that, the mean score of the students test in oral descriptive text in first cycle was 36.55, in the second cycle was 67.75. based on the teaching and learning process the mean score of students’ observations in first cycle was 40.7 while in the second cycle was 82.1. the mean score of teacher observations in teaching oral descriptive text by using google classroom in first cycle was 56 while in the second cycle was 88. The students’ response to the application of the Google Classsroom in teaching oral descriptive text got an mean score of 87.11 or 3.33 (Strongly Agree). These results indicate that the use of google classroom in teaching oral descriptive text its good results and a satisfactory response. Thus this research is said to be successful.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out: improving students' understanding, teacher and student activities and responding to fourth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Kutablang on the Frame of Human Material with Team Assisted Individualization Learning models. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with a type of classroom action research. Data collection techniques are tests, observation sheets and questionnaires. The results showed that: (1) there was an increase in students' understanding of an increase, in the first cycle the percentage of completeness of 66.67% increased to 85.71% in the second cycle. In addition, it can also increase students' understanding in the first cycle of 67.62%, increasing to 77.38% in cycle II. There is an increase in teaching and learning activities between teachers and students has been going well. This can be seen from the results of the first cycle teacher observation of 77.88% and increased to 92.16% in the second cycle. While the results of student observation cycle I amounted to 71.26% and increased to 90.44%. In addition, after all the learning activities were carried out, the use of the Team Assisted Individualization learning model on the subject of skeletal studies in humans turned out to get a positive response from students.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Improving The Students' Vocabulary By Using Word Game Application To The First Grade At SMP N 3 Juli (Collaborative Classroom Action Research). The researcher raised the problems of this research, namely: first, how does the Wordwall vocabulary game application increase students' vocabulary? And secondly, how do students respond to the implementation of the Wordwall vocabulary game application at SMP N 3 Juli? The purpose of this research is to see the improvement and response of students to the application of the Wordwall vocabulary game application as a medium for learning Vocabulary skills. The method used in this research is Collaborative Classroom Action Research. Researchers collaborated with teachers at SMP N 3 Juli. The instruments used in this research were tests, observation sheets, and questionnaires. It can be seen that the average student speaking test score in the first cycle was 51.79% and in the second cycle it increased to 73.47%. The average value of student observations in cycle I was 56.6% and in cycle II was 86.4%. Students' responses to the application of the Wordwall vocabulary game application obtained an average score of 83.95. These results indicate that the application of the Wordwall vocabulary game in improving students' vocabulary achievement obtained good results and satisfactory responses. Thus this research is said to be successful

Abstract

The aim of the research was to increase the students’ creativity in learning SBDP subject. In this case, the students had low creativity and difficulties in making the artworks when they learn SBDP. So, here the researcher chose the mosaic activity by using plastic bag waste as media in order to help the students in increasing their creativity. As the research methodology, the researcher classroom action research and used qualitative descriptive approach in this research and the subject of the research was the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Muara Batu Kabupaten Aceh Utara. The sum of the research subjects were 20 students. In collecting the data, the researcher used some research instruments such as observation sheets, test and questionnaire. Based on the data analysis, it was found the result 1). The students’ activity in leaning process was increased from the cycle 1 (60%) to be 80% in cycle 2. 2). The teacher’s performance during the teaching process in cycle 1 was 75% increased to 85% in cycle 2. 3). the students’ creativity in making artworks had increased from 60 in cycle 1 to be 85 in cycle 2. 4). The students gave positive responses toward the use of plastic bag waste as media in making artworks through mosaic activity . The students also were be more active during the teaching learning process. It could be concluded that the use of plastic bag waste as media through mosaic activity could increase the students’ creativity in in learning SBDP subject.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of TikTok video blogging in enhancing students' speaking skills. The research was conducted using Collaborative Classroom Action Research (CCAR), which allows researchers and teachers to work together to improve learning practices. The data sources for this study were 16 students from class 2 IPA 2 at MAN 4 Aceh Utara. Data collection techniques included speaking skills tests, observation sheets to assess teacher and student performance, and questionnaires to measure student responses. The research was carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed significant improvements in several aspects. Based on the observation checklist results, the teacher's performance in the speaking learning process using TikTok video blogging increased from 80.00% in Cycle I to 99.00% in Cycle II, indicating improved teaching effectiveness. Moreover, students' performance also improved, from 81.21% in Cycle I to 99.39% in Cycle II, suggesting higher student participation and engagement. In terms of students' speaking skills, there was a significant improvement through the use of TikTok video blogging. This can be seen from the mean score of Cycle I, which was 72.18, increasing to 81.87 in Cycle II. This improvement demonstrates that using TikTok as a learning tool can effectively help students develop their speaking skills. Finally, the questionnaire results revealed that students responded positively to the speaking learning process using TikTok video blogging, with a mean score of 2.96, placing it in the “Agree” category. These findings indicate that using popular social media platforms like TikTok can enhance student motivation and engagement in language learning. In conclusion, this research demonstrates the potential of TikTok video blogging as an effective pedagogical tool for improving students' speaking skills in the context of language learning.

Abstract

This study examines the experiences of Almuslim University students participating in an international exchange program with Nagoya Gakuin University. The research aims to analyze how educational tourism activities and cross-cultural interactions influence students' development of global citizenship competencies and cultural awareness. This qualitative study employed in-depth interviews with 11 undergraduate students who participated in the exchange program between 2016-2024. Each participant engaged in semi-structured interviews, exploring their experiences, challenges, and personal growth during the program. The interviews were recorded, transcribed, and analyzed using thematic analysis through open coding, axial coding, and selective coding to identify recurring patterns and meaningful themes. Analysis revealed three key themes from the interview data: (1) Enhanced cultural competency, with participants describing significant improvements in their cross-cultural communication abilities and cultural understanding; (2) Deepened environmental awareness, as participants shared their experiences learning about Japanese sustainable tourism practices; and (3) Strengthened global citizenship identity, evidenced by participants' narratives about their changed worldviews and increased international engagement after the program. The interviews highlighted how structured immersion activities particularly contributed to their Japanese language development and cultural adaptation. The findings demonstrate that structured international exchange programs effectively enhance students' global competencies and cultural sensitivity. These outcomes suggest that combining educational tourism with intentional cross-cultural engagement successfully prepares students for global citizenship. Future research should examine the long-term impact of such programs on career development and explore the potential for virtual exchange components.
