Abstract

The Outer Baduy community experiences relatively rapid social changes due to their less strict customary rules compared to the Inner Baduy. The purpose of this research is to describe how the Cultural and Social Changes of the Outer Baduy Tribe occur: An Analysis of the Interaction between Tradition and Modernity. The method employed in this research is the Descriptive research method with a qualitative approach, using observation sheets and documentation as research instruments. Data collection techniques used in this study include interviews and in-depth observations of the Outer Baduy community. The data sources consist of primary and secondary data. Data validation is conducted through data triangulation, and data analysis follows Miles and Huberman's model, which includes data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that the most notable socio-cultural changes occur due to shifts in livelihoods from farming to trading and the use of electricity-requiring technology. These changes happen because of economic needs, leading the Outer Baduy community to choose non-farming occupations, such as tourism-related jobs or trading, to fulfill their needs and even make it their primary source of income. Consequently, the Outer Baduy community consciously accepts and understands the impacts of technological modernization, information, and communication, whether direct or indirect

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the process of implementing journaling activities to increase the self-confidence of group B children at TKIT Nusantara Banten. This study uses the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model of action research. The subjects in this study were the children of Group B TKIT Nusantara Banten. This research was conducted in two cycles, the first cycle consisted of eight meetings and the second cycle consisted of four meetings. Data analysis in this study used qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative analysis uses descriptive statistics to compare the results in the first cycle and the second cycle. Qualitative data analysis by analyzing data from field notes and interviews during the study with data reduction, data display and data verification steps. The results of this study indicate that self-confidence through journaling activities increases well. This can be seen from the success of each research cycle, where the results obtained in the pre-cycle were 46.30%, cycle I was 62.85% and in cycle II the confidence reached 82.52%. From the results found, the implication of this research is that journaling activities can be used as an alternative approach to increase children's self-confidence

Abstract

This study aims to develop Flash-based interactive multimedia for group B children to assist the learning process at TKIT Nusantara Banten. Flash-based interactive multimedia is used to help students master the excretory system material. This research includes research on development related to borg and gall. This product was developed based on original research as a Flash-based interactive multimedia product for group B children in plant subjects. The test subjects in this developmental research were expert subjects, namely excretory system material experts, learning media experts, linguists, as well as a sample of children of all ages. Group B was potential product users. Determination of sample subjects by random sampling method, namely 5 children for the main field experiment and 15 children for the field experiment. Research and development results: (1) The learning material development model takes place in several stages, namely information gathering, product planning that is being developed, initial forms of Flash-based multimedia products, initial field trials, initial modifications of Flash-based multimedia products, main field trials, operational products. assessment, actual activity test, final product evaluation and activity actual test (2) Learning materials can have a positive impact on group B children's learning outcomes if they obtain a score of 76.58% with the "Good" criterion. and student learning motivation is considered strong with a percentage of 80.3%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve aspects of religious and moral values ​​through the storytelling method in PAUD Madani Parungpanjang. The research method used is Classroom Action Research. The population used in this study was 15 students consisting of 4 boys and 11 girls. Data collection techniques in this study used interview, observation and documentation techniques. While the data analysis technique is carried out in a qualitative and quantitative descriptive manner. Based on observations, when research showed an increase in aspects of religious and moral values ​​through the storytelling method in PAUD Madani Parungpanjang, this was evidenced by the pre-cycle with an average of 53.6 if the percentage reached 13%, in cycle I with an average of 74 if the percentage reached 26% and in cycle II with an average of 89.6 if the percentage reaches 60%. This is evidenced by the increasing aspects of religious and moral values ​​through the question-and-answer method at PAUD Madani Parungpanjang

Abstract

This study aims to use maze media to improve spatial visual intelligence in PAUD Al Ikhsan Parung Bogor. The research method used is survey correlation. The population used in this study was 20 students consisting of 5 boys and 15 girls. Data collection techniques in this study used tests, observations and carried out the teaching and learning process. While the data analysis technique is done by pretest and posttest. Based on the description of the spatial visual intelligence pretest value data above, an average value of 78.3, median 73.5 and mode 80.3 can be obtained. From the 20 respondents it can be seen that there were 2 children who scored between 60-64, there were 2 children who received 65-69, there was 1 child who scored 70-74, there were 3 children who scored 75-79, there were 8 children who scored 80-84 , there is 1 child getting a score of 85-89 and there are 3 children getting a score of 90-94. Based on the results of the description of the Posttest value data for the development of spatial visual intelligence above, it can be obtained an average value of 82, the median is 79, and the mode is 86. From 20 respondents, it can be seen that there are 3 students who score between 63-69, there are 2 students who score between 70-76, there were 5 students who scored between 77-83, there were 7 students who scored between 84-90, and there were 3 students who scored between 91-97

Abstract

This research aims to improve the social emotional aspects of children aged 5-6 years through the picture story book method. The research method used is experimental research. The population used in the research was 10 students consisting of 6 men and 4 women. This data collection technique uses observation and documentation interview techniques. Meanwhile, the technical data analysis is carried out quantitatively. After the action was carried out, the posttest average was 76.7, while the pretest average was 54.4. Similarly, based on hypothesis testing using the t-test, namely the Independent T Test, the value of t count is 9.731. This value is greater than t table at a significance level of α < 0.050. T table 0.050 is 2.262. Then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, this proves that t count is greater than t table, meaning that the picture story book method can improve children's social emotionality

Abstract

The aim of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of Kendedes PAUD Serang City teachers in using ecobricks as a learning resource, especially as a starting material for making educational toys (APE). Ecobricks are ecological materials that do not decompose, obtained from used plastic bottles. This activity was motivated by the many waste problems, namely: (1) There is still a large amount of plastic waste in the environment that has not been utilized optimally, (2) Lack of knowledge regarding handling and disposal of plastic waste. . free environmentally friendly materials. teaching tools, (3) The nature of love for the environment in children will not develop without stimulation from the teacher. Based on this background, activities focus on teacher training to utilize eco-boards as a learning environment using environmentally friendly APE. The training method is carried out through lectures, questions and answers, demonstrations and practice in preparing APE. The results obtained indicate a growth in teachers' knowledge and skills in disposing of plastic waste using eco-bricks as a tool. Teachers can share their experiences with children and their parents

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to document the relationship between socioeconomic status and cognitive development, as measured by tests of children's language skills at school. The language ability test consists of different listening abilities and speaking abilities of young children in two schools. The general objective of this study was to determine the relationship between socio-economic status and cognitive development as measured by language proficiency tests. The method in this research uses observation and questionnaire methods. The results of the data analysis show that in general a conclusion can be drawn: the relationship between socio-economic status and cognitive development as measured by tests of language skills which consist of listening and speaking abilities of different early childhood students in two schools both show that listening skills are higher compared to speaking ability. So if listening ability is given treatment, speaking ability will also be high

Abstract

In learning at school, various media are definitely needed in order to improve the learning process. In this learning media there are various variations, for example using Learning Video media. It is hoped that this research can develop media needs in PAI subjects at SMPN 2 MANUHING. This type of research is development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. With research subjects totaling 20 respondents, the object of this research itself is an analysis of teacher needs in developing video-based learning media. In this research, the data collection technique/method is using a questionnaire for the Analysis of Needs for Development of PAI Media at SMPN 2 MANUHING in the form of a Google form which is distributed to students, especially in class IX, who have gone through several materials in PAI subjects at SMPN 2 MANUHING. Then the data was obtained from 30% of students who had difficulty in learning PAI and 65% of students who liked PAI subjects, while for this media data was obtained from 60% of students who needed Laptop/Computer Media in learning and 95% of students who agreed to use Video Media in learning PIE. From this data, it can be concluded that students at SMPN 2 MANUHING on average like PAI learning subjects but they lack media in learning, so by conducting this research it is hoped that media development in PAI learning at SMPN 2 MANUHING will be carried out

Abstract

The aim of the research is to improve children's socio-emotional skills by using the storytelling method. The research was conducted at PAUD Kutilang Petir Serang Group A with 12 students and was carried out in the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The social emotional skills of children aged 4-5 years are still very lacking. The child still likes to play alone, does not want to communicate with his friends, still likes to use his hands and feet with his friends, and the child's ego is still very clear. Research tools include observation sheets and field notes. Collection techniques include observation and documentation. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively in each cycle. The research results show that children's social emotional improvement occurs in each cycle. The initial condition was only 8.33% which was in the good category. In cycle I, small picture books were used and 50% of the results were in the good category. Children still look dissatisfied and bored using small picture books because they cannot see the pictures clearly, so correction needs to be done in Cycle II. In cycle II the researcher used a ledger. The results achieved were 83.33% which was in the good category. When stories are told with the help of big books, children are very interested in watching them. Children aged 4-5 years begin to concentrate on listening to scientists' stories with the help of a big book, because the pictures in the big book are easy for children to see. Based on this description, it can be concluded that using the big book storytelling method can improve the social emotions of children aged 4-5 years at PAUD Kutilang Petir Serang
