Abstract

The application of the probing prompting learning model to students' critical thinking skills in science subjects. A quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group design. The research was conducted at SD Negeri Sumur Peuteuy. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. In this study, class IV A was used as the experimental class and class IV B as the control class. This study aims to determine whether there are differences in students' critical thinking skills using the probing prompting learning model and students using the direct learning model. The purpose of the data analysis technique is to test the hypothesis using two tests and the right-hand side test. Based on the two-party hypothesis, tcount = 4,599 and ttable 2,010 so 4,599 > 2,010, meaning Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From this research, it can be said that the learning model applied in the experimental class (probing prompting learning model) and in the control class (direct learning model) shows the students' critical thinking skills. And the experimental class is better than the control class

Abstract

This research was conducted at SDN Sajira 2 based on data of the low interest in reading at Indonesia, especially in SDN Sajira 2 School environment. This study aims to determine the implementation of the school literacy movement in instilling students’ interest at SDN Sajira 2 also to find out about teacher activities in instilling students’ interest in reading through the school literacy movement at SDN Sajira 2. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research methods, with descriptive research procedures, data reduction, and selection. The main data in qualitative research are words and he data source comes from primary and secondary data sources, the data collection techniques that the researcher uses are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data obtained os then re-examined through data reduction, than presented and concluded, after that, data will be checked for validityusing source triangulation and technical triangulation. The research at this time will describe the cultivation of reading activities for fifteen minutes before studying

Abstract

This study aims to solve problems regarding the low reading ability of students in understanding reading content in class II of SDN Gandaria Utara 01 through learning using the video-based read aloud method. This research used a quantitative research experimental method using only one research sample, namely the experimental group (pretest and posttest one group design). The sample for this research was Grade II students at SDN Gandaria Utara 01. Based on the results of the study, there was an increase in reading skills in terms of fluency and the ability to understand the contents of the reading. The increase in reading fluency was 14.66 from the initial average of 71.86 and the ability to understand the contents of reading was 28.93 from the initial average of 62.19. This shows an increase in students' reading skills, especially in understanding the contents of the reading. The use of the video-based read aloud method also increased student responses to learning to read by as much as 31.75%.

Abstract

The problem of science learning outcomes that occur there are students who are less active/focused on learning material, difficulty memorizing material, students do not have strong motivation and interest, students feel bored in teaching and learning activities, lack of skill in using media in the learning process. so that the ability of science learning outcomes does not reach the KKM. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of Flashcard media on the science learning outcomes of elementary school students. The research method used is library research (literature study) from 10 journals and theses as primary library sources and 7 books as secondary libraries, the using Flashcard media on student science learning outcomes with intervals of the last ten years starting from 2012-2021. The results showed that the type of media used for students' science learning outcomes was Flashcard media that every research that had been carried out obtained percentage results that showed an increase in student learning outcomes, from the results of research conducted by previous researchers that the use of Flashcard media can improve learning outcomes. student science. The conclusion of this study is that there are positive results in learning in the use of Flashcard media on science learning outcomes

Abstract

Understanding decimal numbers is very important to have. Many things in everyday life involve the concept of decimal numbers. Limitations in interpreting decimal numbers can result in errors, such as inaccuracies in measurement activities. In addition, it can also cause obstacles in learning other mathematical material, such as geometry and statistics. Given the importance of understanding decimal numbers, elementary school students need to interpret them properly. This study aims to analyze student learning obstacles related to decimal number material. Through this research, it is hoped that it can become material for reflection, especially for educators to design learning activities that can minimize the possibility of the emergence of similar learning obstacles presented in this study. This research was conducted on sixth grade elementary school students. Students are given questions related to decimal numbers. The results of student answers were analyzed, then students were interviewed. Interviews were conducted to find out more clearly about the learning barriers experienced by students. The results show that the difficulty in understanding decimal numbers is caused by students' learning experiences that are not meaningful to students. Students learn how to perform mathematical operations on decimal numbers, but have no conceptual knowledge about these numbers

Abstract

The process of growing the character of students can be done by the teacher through the learning process, namely social studies learning. Teachers can design Social Studies learning by incorporating local wisdom values ​​in the material provided as an effort to grow the character of students, for example, the local wisdom values ​​of the Baduy Tribe. This study aims to integrate the local wisdom values ​​of the Baduy Tribe in social studies learning to foster students' environmental care character. Social studies learning based on local wisdom values ​​of the Baduy tribe is carried out because the Baduy people have a character of concern for the environment that students can emulate and implement in their daily lives. This research is quantitative research with research subjects namely class IV students totaling 30 students. The trials in this study were carried out in two stages, the first stage was carried out to obtain initial data (pretest), and the second stage was carried out to obtain data on the growth of students' environmental care character after conducting IPS learning based on local wisdom values ​​of the Baduy Tribe (post-test). Based on the research results, the initial data (pretest) obtained an average result of 67.25, while the average result (post-test) after social studies learning based on local wisdom values ​​of the Baduy tribe was 79.7667. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that social studies learning based on local wisdom values ​​of the Baduy tribe can foster students' environmental care character

Abstract

Covid-19 has spread to every country in the world, including Indonesia. Many areas of Indonesian life have experienced obstacles since the entry of the Corona virus, also known as Covid-19, in this country, especially the education system. In Indonesia, a developing country, the pandemic continues to be a challenge for the country's education system. This is the main reason why many places in Indonesia are experiencing economic, educational or technical problems. The various zones are now depicted by government signage using colors and symbols to distinguish them from one another. These locations include the red zone, orange zone, yellow zone, and green zone. Students are still using distance learning (PJJ) in an effort to stop the spread of Covid-19, as indicated by the red and orange zones. The yellow and green zones indicate that students are allowed to do face-to-face learning in schools, but are not required. The purpose of this article is to explain how to use a blended learning approach during a pandemic to increase student interest in learning. Blended learning is learning that combines various types of learning methods. Online, offline, and self-study approaches are all included in blended learning. Some places, such as the yellow zone and the green zone, find it difficult to get a decent signal. This strategy can also be used in economically troubled areas. During the Covid-19 pandemic, this study sought to determine whether or not the blended learning approach was successful in increasing student interest in learning. Abstract

Pancasila is the state ideology and an important reference for all Indonesian people. The noble virtues of Pancasila values ​​in the industrial era 4.0 were eroded by advances in science, technology, and art that were not filtered properly. Indications of the waning of Pancasila values ​​in the industrial era 4.0 can be seen from the increasing number of cases involving the nation's generation, which reflect the weakness of the nation's character, such as increasing crime, corruption, collusion and nepotism, radicalism, sexual crimes, consumptive life, political life that is not productive, etc. Efforts are needed to actualize Pancasila in the life of society, nation and state. Abstract

The quality of education is low, resulting in schools having to create ways to overcome this. School management is everything related to the management of the educational process to achieve the goals that have been set, both short-term goals, medium-term goals, and long-term goals. The purpose of this study was to determine school management in improving the quality of education, including: (1) school profile; (2) School programs and (3) Teachers and Students. Data collection techniques were carried out through interview guidelines, observation guidelines, and documentation studies. The research subjects were the principal, supervisor and teacher at MI Miftahul Ulum. The results of the research found: (1) School program planning includes: teaching programs, including: school profiles, school programs, school organizational structure, school vision and mission, extracurricular activities, etc. It is expected that supervisors can direct and supervise school principals in improving the quality of education regarding school program planning, program implementation and the obstacles they face in an effective, effective and efficient manner so that the quality of education in these schools can be improved

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability to solve math story problems in fifth grade students at SDN 5 Ngabul Jepara. This study uses a quantitative approach by using the library research method. The data collection procedure is carried out by reading, studying and recording various literature or reading materials that are in accordance with the subject matter, then filtered and poured into a theoretical framework. Data analysis using the percentage technique. The findings of the research show that the data obtained from the first cycle with an average value of 66.93, this value does not meet the KKM limit of 70 which has been set by SDN 5 Ngabul. This is because students are still not familiar with the sequential process of learning activities using the Creative Problem Solving model. In the third cycle, the average value increased to 78.23 and the obtained DSK has also reached 87.10%, the achievement of Classical Absorption has reached the predetermined criteria, namely >85.
