<![CDATA[Low rates of exclusive breastfeeding pose a threat to children's growth and development, affecting the quality of human resources. The majority of breastfeeding mothers discontinue breastfeeding within a few weeks postpartum due to perceived insufficient breast milk and dissatisfaction of the infant during breastfeeding. The objective of this community service activity is to enhance the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of postpartum mothers regarding breastfeeding their infants. The methods employed included lectures and question-and-answer sessions with mothers. This activity took place in the Postnatal Care Room of Padjonga Daeng Ngalle Hospital, Takalar Regency, on March 20, 2024, with the participation of six postpartum mothers. The results of education and support provided to postpartum mothers on exclusive breastfeeding using leaflets and flip charts showed that prior to the intervention, only 2 mothers (33.33%) had good knowledge, and after the education and support, this number increased to 5 mothers (83.33%) in the post-intervention test. Therefore, through education and support, motivation and behavioral changes in exclusive breastfeeding practices among postpartum mothers can be enhanced]]>

<![CDATA[Ethics is a branch of axiology, namely the science of values, which focuses on the search for right and wrong or in another sense, moral and immoral. Smartphones are one of the results of technological developments that have advanced capabilities where students are one group of smartphone users. This research aims to increase students' knowledge about the ethics of using smartphones in communication. This research uses a survey method, namely by giving a survey questionnaire regarding understanding of ethics in communication and its prevention to students. The results of counseling and education for 19 students of the Health Information Management Study Program showed that the average knowledge of the community at the pretest was 92.6% and at the posttest it was 98.9%, which shows an increase in the average knowledge of students.]]>

<![CDATA[Stunting remains a public health challenge in Mataram City. The Population and Family Planning Control Agency (DPPKB) of Mataram City plays a crucial role in stunting prevention efforts, but the results have not been optimal due to a lack of cooperation and synergy among parties. The collaborative governance approach offers a solution by emphasizing the importance of cooperation and synergy among the government, communities, academics, and non-governmental organizations. The DPPKB has implemented this approach through the formation of the City Stunting Forum, involving various relevant stakeholders. The forum serves as a platform for coordination, synchronization, and collaboration in stunting prevention efforts. The implementation has yielded positive results, with a decrease in the prevalence of stunting from 23.6% in 2021 to 20.1% in 2023. This approach has proven effective in enhancing cooperation and synergy in stunting prevention efforts, and these efforts need to be continued to achieve the target of reducing stunting in Mataram City.]]>

<![CDATA[Maintaining the mother's health during pregnancy is one of the main keys to the health of the next generation, because the mother will give birth to a healthy generation if the mother's health during pregnancy is good and without problems. The thing that must be maintained by pregnant women is to get adequate nutrition for themselves and the fetus they are carrying. One of the problems that often arises in pregnant women is anemia. Anemia in pregnant women can increase the risk of low birth weight (LBW) babies, premature birth, maternal and infant deaths and stunting (short children). Various efforts have been made to control anemia in pregnancy, but the prevalence is still high. One of the efforts that can be made to prevent anemia in pregnant women is to check hemoglobin and increase the mother's knowledge about anemia and its management, so that the mother understands her health condition during pregnancy. The aim of this community service activity is to screen for anemia in pregnant women. The benefit of this activity is that pregnant women know their hemoglobin levels and get information about anemia during pregnancy and its management.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to analyze the role of cadres in caring for elderly people with dementia in Deliksari Village, Gunungpati. Cadres are individuals who are specially trained to provide health and social support in their communities. In this context, they have a responsibility to help families and elderly people experiencing dementia through various programs and activities focused on improving quality of life and preventing further cognitive decline. This study uses a qualitative approach with observation methods, in-depth interviews and document analysis to obtain relevant data. The research results show that cadres play an important role in providing health information, care training, and emotional support to families and the elderly. They also act as a link between the community and formal health services, assisting in the early detection and more effective management of dementia]]>

<![CDATA[Hookworm infection remains a significant health concern, particularly in rural areas like Bone Village, Nekamese District. This community service project aimed to conduct health education and stool examinations to prevent and control tropical diseases. Stool examinations were performed on 60 samples from the Bone Village community, revealing that 2 samples tested positive for hookworm eggs, indicating the presence of hookworm infection, although the prevalence was relatively low. Following this, an interactive health education session was conducted on March 24, 2024, at the village church, involving the local community. The educational materials covered the prevention and treatment of hookworm infection, the importance of personal and environmental hygiene, and how to detect early symptoms of tropical diseases. This activity successfully raised community awareness about the importance of preventing tropical diseases and was published in the online media Kupang, reaching a broader audience. The results of the community service project demonstrated that a participatory and educational approach is effective in reducing the risk of hookworm infection and improving overall community health]]>

<![CDATA[With the open access to information in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the rapid development of technology, teachers are no longer the main source of learning. This requires teachers to use technology in the learning process. With the presence of gadgets that they carry everyday, they can be utilised for learning activities. The purpose of this activity is to improve teacher competence in developing digital classroom design using the google classroom application. The methods used were lectures, questions and answers, discussions, group practices, guidance services, simulations and group presentations. The results obtained show that the fourth grade teachers of elementary school in Burneh District as training participants have skills in developing digital classroom design using google classroom applications from the beginning of the learning process to learning evaluation]]>

<![CDATA[Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children under five (for babies under five years of age) which is caused by chronic malnutrition so that the child is too short for his age. Stunting causes children to not reach their maximum height and disrupts brain development which will affect cognitive abilities. One in five children in Indonesia is reported to be stunted. The long-term impact of stunting will cause children to have difficulty receiving lessons, decreased learning achievement, decreased work productivity, low income and minimal participation in community activities. The cause of stunting in toddlers is often the result of many factors related to poverty, including poor diet, health, hygiene and the environment. The current effort being made is to provide education about high protein foods. The education provided aims to enable mothers of toddlers to play a role in providing a healthy, high-protein menu so that it can prevent the incidence of stunting. This community service is carried out with the aim of increasing the knowledge and understanding of mothers of toddlers regarding providing MP-ASI high in animal protein to prevent stunting. It is hoped that after participating in this service activity, mothers of toddlers will be able to provide MP-ASI high in animal protein for toddlers to support their children's height growth.]]>

<![CDATA[Cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in Aceh Province are currently increasing, and Aceh Besar is one of the districts that has experienced a drastic increase in the last two years. There is a need for empowerment activities to increase community knowledge so that they can carry out prevention and improve their health status independently and sustainably. The aim of this community service activity is to provide understanding to the people of Bak Buloh Village, Kuta Baro District, Aceh Besar Regency, Aceh Province, about how to effectively eradicate mosquito nests as an effort to prevent dengue fever. The methods used are lecture, discussion and question and answer methods. The results of the counseling showed that there was a significant improvement in the majority of the people of Bak Buloh Village, after being given the Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) counseling. It is hoped that the relevant agencies, the Kuta Baro District Health Center, the Village and Cadres, can carry out more frequent outreach regarding the Eradication of Mosquito Nests (PSN) and the impacts it causes.]]>

<![CDATA[Receiving care from parents is a child's right. However, the absence of parents in a child's life means that a child does not receive care from his parents. The absence of parents is a condition where the whereabouts of the child's parents are unknown or other conditions which prevent the child from getting his right to be cared for. However, this can be overcome by providing alternative care. Alternative care is care that is carried out based on a substitute family or Child Welfare Institution. Service activity method with structured lectures and guidance. The results were that participants were very enthusiastic in participating in service activities by STIKes Mitra Husada Medan lecturers regarding parenting styles for parents in educating their children at home. So that insight and knowledge increase. The following are community service activities, especially parents, starting from providing material by the Lecturer Team headed by Indra Agussamad, S.Kep, M.Kes and members Lisdayanti Simanjuntak, Ingka Kristina and 2 students.]]>
