Abstract

This research aims to find out the views of the public regarding the issue of the implementation of free 12-year tuition fees (Sumbangan Pembinaan Pendidikan) from elementary, junior high, to high school levels in the Riau Islands. The sources of this research were obtained from students and university students located in Tanjungpinang. This type of research uses a qualitative approach. This research uses primary data. Primary data used in this study were obtained directly through distributing questionnaires to respondents. This study involved 32 people, including students and students in Tanjungpinang City. One of the factors that cause a weak educational foundation is the low level of income and the large population in Indonesia. Analyzing the quality of education is very important before schools receive assistance or mentoring, and this issue is not only related to money. It was found that communication between policymakers and implementers can change how programs are run.

Abstract

All children are born in different environments and home environments. But one thing is certain: children need love and guidance to help them thrive in every aspect of their lives. Currently, there are many differences in children's family backgrounds that influence their socialization behavior. The reason behind this is because there are harmonious families, there are also broken homes. In the family, parents in particular play an important role in the development of a child's personality, especially in the child's daily behavior. The aim of this research is to describe children's social behavior when viewed from differences in family background. The research method used in this article is qualitative research, namely descriptive research in the form of describing/exposing the behavioral symptoms of people being observed. Researchers are the main instrument of research carried out at MI Al Awal Palembang for comprehensive data collection. This panel research was carried out in class IV at MI Al Awwal Palembang. The research results show that there are many differences in the social behavior of each child when viewed from family background. We identified two different family backgrounds, namely a harmonious family and a broken home family. So the solution that can be implemented in developing the character and social behavior of children who come from broken homes is that teachers must guide and educate children so that they can change their character from bad habits to good ones, they must try to understand children's feelings and provide advice and considerations as best as possible. Teachers must also try to bring children closer to their friends. The role of peers is no less important, because one of their roles is to provide a source of information and comparison about the world outside the family environment

Abstract

This research uses waste that is currently quite abundant with waste management that has not been optimised so that it can result in environmental pollution, therefore this research uses animal waste, namely goat manure with household waste, namely pineapple peel as organic fertiliser. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of liquid organic fertiliser goat manure with pineapple peel waste, as well as to determine and assess the optimal dose for the growth of kailan plants. This type of research uses a group randomised design method with 5 treatments, namely KN0 (control), KN1 (15%) KN2 (30%), KN3 (45%), KN4 (60%). The parameters used are plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), and wet weight (grams) of plants. The results of the observation of Fhitung treatment of plant height in a row of 65.91 (10 HST), 106.42 (20 HST), 205.75 (30 HST) > Ftable 0.05 (3.12), the results of Fhitung number of leaves in a row of 45.22 (10 HST), 22.48 (20 HST), 40.37 (30 HST) > Ftable 0.05 (3.12), and the results of Fhitung wet weight with a value of 119.90 > Ftable 0.05 (3.12). Based on data analysis, there is an effect of liquid organic fertiliser goat manure and pineapple peel on the growth of kailan plants (Brassica oleracea L. Alboglabra) with a significant concentration of 30%.

Abstract

This study seeks to determine in case there is a role of learning strategies on student learning outcomes. In this reserach, there is no population and sample involved, but rather using literature, such as thesis, articles, and books. The research used a qualitative approach with a correlation analysis method through literature studies using theses, articles, and books. Based on of several relevant journals, it can be said that learning strategies have an important role in maximizing student learning outcomes. In other words, the more effective the learning strategy applied, the more optimal the learning outcomes obtained.

Abstract

This study aims to identify challenges and formulate effective strategies in implementing inclusive education in primary schools. A qualitative approach with descriptive methods was used to gain an in-depth understanding of the issue. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation involving school principals, classroom teachers, special mentor teachers and parents. The research findings show that the main challenges in implementing inclusive education are the lack of teachers' understanding and skills, limited facilities and infrastructure and resistance from parents. To overcome these challenges, several strategies were proposed, including continuous professional development and training for teachers, improving school facilities and infrastructure, and socialising and educating parents and communities. The case study of SD Negeri 13 Pandeglang shows that collaboration between the school, government and community can improve the acceptance and success of inclusive education. Support from the government in the form of clear policies and provision of adequate resources is also very important. In conclusion, with the right strategies and adequate support, inclusive education can be effectively implemented in primary schools, benefiting all students, including those with special needs.

Abstract

This study aims to identify hand-held challenges faced in education in primary schools and national education challenges. Education in Indonesia still revolves around educational problems that need to be elaborated in an effort to find answers to future challenges. Educational problems, causing the achievement of educational goals are not achieved optimally. In dealing with these problems, there needs to be an actional effort regarding the implementation of the curriculum in accordance with the characteristics of students and the equitable distribution of facilities / infrastructure in elementary school education. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach to paint a comprehensive picture of the challenges faced in education in primary schools. Where the data display technique used is in SD Negeri 060877 for female students, especially grade IV and V students totaling 27 students. The conclusion of the results of this study is that educational problems in elementary schools include :P the development of students, students' difficulties in mingling, unstable student emotions, students' mindset and individual differences in students such as students' learning speed that is still lagging behind compared to other friends, students who tend to be passive (quiet) and language skills of some students who are still lacking.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of parental involvement on elementary school students' academic achievement. Using a qualitative approach, this research collected data through in-depth interviews and participant observation involving 20 parents and 10 teachers from several elementary schools. The research results show that parental involvement has a significant impact on student academic achievement. The most influential forms of involvement include assistance with learning at home, effective communication with teachers, and providing motivation and emotional support to children. Data analysis shows that students whose parents are actively involved in their education tend to have better grades and show greater interest in learning. Previous research results show that parental involvement can increase students' learning motivation and academic results. In addition, this research found several problems faced by parents, including limited time and lack of confidence in helping their children. To overcome this obstacle, it is recommended that schools provide training programs for parents and strengthen communication with them through regular meetings and communication technology. Overall, this research states that the role of parents is very important in supporting the academic achievement of elementary school students and promoting stronger collaboration between schools and parents to create a supportive learning environment.

Abstract

There are two ways to process test results to determine graduation standards, namely Norm Referenced Test (NRT) and Criteria Referenced Test (CRT). However, they differ in data processing function, which affects the outcome of data processing. Because the author tends to process score results based on norms with the reasoning that there are no absolute provisions put forth by one party in one direction. Therefore, through this article, the author tries to explain in depth about this Norm Referenced Test along with examples of score processing. This study uses a literature review with a qualitative approach. The results of this study show that with Norm Referenced Test, students' graduation will be determined by summing up or finding the average score from the final learning outcomes, and that's how they will be declared as either passing or failing participants. Like the test results processing discussion, where out of 25 students, after calculating the average score it was found to be 67.92, therefore if a student's score does not meet this requirement, they will be declared as not passing. This means among the group table receiving scores below 65 will need remedial, while scores of 70 and above are declared passing..

Abstract

Early childhood language development is one of the abilities that children must have as a means of communicating and interacting with their environment. The aim of this research is to describe storytelling methods to improve language development skills in early childhood. The subjects of this research involved 8 students from Al-Ihsan Private Kindergarten, of whom two children had speech delays. The research methods used were observations and interviews with teachers as well as observations at the Al-Ihsan private kindergarten. The results of this research show that the storytelling method can improve the language development of young children aged 4-6 years through children's stories, which can develop creative imagination and can also help children communicate

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out whether character education in the "English for Nusantara" textbook for seventh-grade students is in accordance with the current curriculum. This research analyzed character education contained in the reading and conversational texts of the textbook. The research methodology used a descriptive qualitative approach and content analysis technique. The characters found in the textbook were classified into six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile. The results showed that the six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile were found. The dimension of having faith, fear of God Almighty, having a noble character 33.2%, global diversity 12.9%, mutual cooperation 16.7%, independent 20.4%, critical reasoning 7.5%, and creative 9.3%. In the six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, which have 20 elements, only 19 were found, while one element that was not found was intercultural communication and interaction. The characters in this book are mostly integrated implicitly. The primary focus dimension of the “English for the Nusantara” textbook was having faith, fear of God Almighty, and having noble character. In addition, the main focus element in this textbook was the manner towards others. Based on the classification of character education stated by Prismarani (2014), this textbook scored 95% and was classified as ‘very high’ quality.
