Abstract

Mathematics is one of the compulsory subjects that students must master. However, in reality, many students do not understand this compulsory subject. This research aims to help describe the understanding of the concept and solve the concept of function composition. This research is a qualitative research that can be used as a reference for students of SMAN 17 Pekanbaru to find out their understanding of the concept in solving function composition problems.The author will explain in this scientific journal what is the definition of function composition, properties of function composition, how the multiplication and division of functions and addition and subtraction of functions are formed. This can help describe the understanding of the concept and solve the function composition.

Abstract

One of the varied learning media tha can be applied is E-LKPD learning media. LKPD contains a task sheet, instructions, learning evaluations given to students that are formed in accordance with the competencies which is formed in accordance with the basic competencies basic competencies of the material contained in the LKPD. This study aims to determine the effect of using E-LKPD assisted by Liveworksheet on student learning outcomes in Biogeochemical Cycle material in class X SMA Negeri 01 Pekanbaru. This study used a quasi-experimental research design with Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population in this study were class X students even semester of the 2024 academic year consisting of class X-5 students as the control class and class X-1 as the experimental class. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the learning outcomes of experimental class students who used E-LKPD assisted by Liveworksheet and the control class that did not use E-LKPD. This is indicated by the average value of student learning outcomes of the experimental class (88.675) which is higher than the control class (72.476).

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Describe activities in strengthening student character education through Scouting extracurricular activities at MA Muhammadiyah Nangahure (2). To find out the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of extracurricular scouting activities at MA Muhammadiyah Nangahure. This study uses a qualitative approach. The data in this study were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that students at MA Muhammadiyah Nangahure have the character of discipline, religion, friendship/communicative, and responsibility. Factors that influence the application of character values ​​in scouting activities at MA Muhammadiyah Nangahure, namely: First, supporting factors, namely the implementation of the mandate of Law Number 12 of 2010 concerning the Scouting movement and the results of the 2013 Scout Movement National Conference Decision. Second, the inhibiting factor is the lack of awareness of the participants education and the influence of the social environment.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using Google Classroom and WhatsApp in the process of remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic on students' learning outcomes. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 4 Sendawar on Munaan Ore Street, Muara Asa, Barong Tongkok District, Kutai Barat Regency, East Kalimantan. The research was carried out for 1 month from August 20th to September 20th, 2021. Purposive sampling technique was used to determine the research sample, resulting in a total of 15 students as samples. Data collection methods included objective tests, interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicated a significant positive effect of using Google Classroom and WhatsApp on students' learning outcomes in the subject of Biology for Grade XI IPA at SMA Negeri 4 Sendawar, with the calculated t-value > t-table (3.109 > 2.178) at a significance level of 0.05. This implies that the use of Google Classroom and WhatsApp can improve students' learning outcomes in Biology for Grade XI IPA at SMA Negeri 4 Sendawar.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model in improving critical thinking skills in mathematics lessons for sixth-grade students at Citarik III Elementary School. The research was conducted using a two-cycle action research approach. The subjects of the study were 30 sixth-grade students at Citarik III Elementary School. Research instruments included pre-tests, post-tests, observation sheets, interviews, and field notes. The results showed that the Jigsaw learning model was effective in improving students' critical thinking skills. There was a significant increase in post-test scores in each cycle, indicating a progressive improvement in students' critical thinking skills. Good interaction among students in groups, positive student responses, and adjustments to lesson plans based on reflections from the previous cycle were key factors in the success of this learning model.

Abstract

The use of digital technology in mathematics education material makes it a very interesting and urgent matter regarding the level of students' abilities regarding the material they are studying, whether students understand mathematics material more easily or have more difficulty understanding it. Geogebra is a free math learning software program that supports a variety of math topics. for use at school. Initially, GeoGebra was only used for learning algebra and geometry, but as it developed, many new features were added and increasingly enriched the existing features. The research method used in this research uses a literature study research method where researchers study the results of previous research. The results of this research conclude that the use of Geogebra mathematics software in learning has a positive influence on students' computing knowledge, learning through Geogebra software makes mathematics learning easier for students to understand and understand, students are more enthusiastic about studying mathematics because teachers balance conventional and mathematics. integrated mathematics learning. Project-based learning using Geogebra mathematics software is more popular with students, thereby increasing students' abilities and enthusiasm for learning mathematics.

Abstract

The development of science and technology requires high quality human resources capable of responding to various challenges. Therefore, education must always be considered and prioritized in order to produce quality human resources. As an important part of successful learning, teachers must be able to position themselves as people who can instill a love of learning in their students. The aim of this research is to encourage the use of learning media in conveying learning messages and helping students better understand the learning process. The type of field study in this case uses a qualitative approach. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method with a library research approach. The main data used in this research comes from books, magazines and recent articles related to the theme of this research. The results of this research show that: (1) teachers have access to simple learning media in formats from various sources that can be used as teaching materials, (2) design simple learning media that is as attractive as possible by using used teaching materials such as plastic bottles, leaves, twigs in the environment. school, and (3) the classroom as a place where teachers play a role during learning and carrying out the learning process, the introduction of simple learning media applied in the school yard, and the surrounding community environment.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the application of the Window Shopping Learning Model to the Science Learning Outcomes of Class V UPTD SDN 97 Inpres Tellumpanuae Students, Maros Regency. This research is a type of pre-experimental research with a research design using a one group Pretest-Posttest design using a quantitative approach. This design carries out two measurements, first (Pretest) and second measurement (Posttest). The sample in this research was class V UPTD SDN 97 Inpres Tellumpanuae, totaling 23 students. The results of the research showed that the average student pretest result was 53.70 in the low category, then the window shopping learning model was applied to the learning process so that the students' posttest results reached a value The average is 79.35 in the medium category. N-Gain analysis shows the gain is 65.41 in the medium category.

Abstract

Abstract

In essence, humans have potential, according to Islamic education, humans are equipped with basic potential in the form of physical (hearing, sight), reason, and spirit which still need development to prepare for life since birth. This development is influenced by the family, community and school environment. This development process will last a lifetime and aims to serve oneself to Allah SWT. So the basic potential is influenced by the environment (external factors). The aim of this research is to explain the potential for human excellence that can be developed through education. The approach in this research is a qualitative descriptive method, the type of research is library research, namely research through library or literary studies. The result of this research is the importance of developing the potential that humans have because humans are the noblest creatures among other creatures and they were made by Allah in the best form/event, both physically and psychologically, and are equipped with various potential tools. and basic potentials (fitrah) that can be developed and actualized as optimally as possible through the educational process.
