Premarital sexual behavior is currently an issue for Indonesian teenagers because teenagers are now easy to follow romantic invitations from the opposite sex, premarital sex on the grounds that they already like each other and are mutually beneficial and love each other. Teenagers do not know that premarital sex is behavior that is bad for themselves. The cause of premarital sexual behavior in adolescents is because they do not have a positive assessment of themselves and others and lack the confidence to express their thoughts effectively. Following up on this, the researchers conducted the GEBAS SEPAH program because it can improve the assertiveness behavior of anti-marital sex teenagers through Assertive training. "GEBAS SEPAH" is an acronym for "Generation Free of Premarital Sex". The method of implementing this activity is preparation and selection of participants, debriefing, and implementation of activities. This program uses assertive training through the lecture method to educate adolescents to be able to express themselves. This program aims to train adolescents to be able to express themselves as they are without feeling afraid and pressured by others, and to be able to reject everything that is considered not in accordance with themselves. Based on the service that has been carried out by researchers, there is a significant increase in assertive behavior in students of class XI Language SMAN 3 Bukittinggi. This shows that assertive training given to students to prevent premarital sexual behavior is effective in increasing assertive behavior.

Being a student often requires individuals to face situations where they have to be away from their parents, known as migration. Due to the distance created by migration, students who migrate face limitations in terms of communication. Communication is a crucial aspect of human life, especially between parents and children. In this study, researchers aim to gather information on the communication patterns of parents with migrating students. Additionally, the study aims to understand how students maintain their communication relationships with their parents despite the distance. The study includes 50 participants who meet the criteria of being active students. Data was collected through open-ended questionnaires and analyzed thematically. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between migrating students and negative feelings, while non-migrating students experience positive feelings. The communication patterns of migrating students with their parents can be observed through the intensity of communication. Students who communicate more frequently feel less lonely, become independent individuals, and gain new experiences. On the other hand, students who communicate less often with their parents tend to feel lonely.

This study examines the relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), social anxiety, and the impact of social media use on Generation Z's mental health. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, the study involved 300 respondents aged 16-25 who were surveyed through an online questionnaire. The analysis showed that the more intensive the use of social media, the higher the level of FOMO and social anxiety experienced by Generation Z. Social media, designed to connect individuals, often creates the illusion of superficial relationships and increases social pressure. The research also revealed that algorithms tailored to user preferences contribute to unhealthy social comparisons, thus exacerbating feelings of not being good enough and social isolation. These findings emphasize the importance of managing social media use wisely and developing digital literacy programs aimed at raising awareness of possible negative impacts on mental health.

Mental health is an important component in achieving an individual's overall well-being. However, mental health services are often separated from physical health services, creating significant gaps in the healthcare system. Integration of mental health services into the physical healthcare system is a major challenge that must be overcome to create a holistic approach to healthcare. Strong social stigma towards mental health remains a major barrier, which prevents individuals from accessing the services they need. In addition, access to mental health services, especially in remote areas, is still limited due to lack of expertise and unequal distribution. An integrated approach, involving multidisciplinary coordination between various health professions as well as the utilization of technology, such as telecounseling and digital applications, can expand the reach of services. In addition, strong policy support and investment in digital infrastructure development are needed to accelerate the implementation of more equitable and inclusive services. Collaboration between the government, health workers, and communities is a strategic step to overcome this challenge. With strong synergy and the elimination of stigma, a more effective and sustainable mental health system is expected

This study aims to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and children's academic achievement using the literature study method from a developmental psychology perspective. This study reviewed 30 scientific articles obtained from the Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar databases, with a publication range between 2013 and 2023. This method was chosen to gather relevant empirical evidence and strengthen the understanding of the contribution of intelligence to the academic emotional success of elementary school-aged children through adolescence. Inclusion criteria included publications containing quantitative or qualitative data on the influence of emotional intelligence on learning outcomes, academic engagement and social interactions in lin. Research was conducted using a thematic approach to identify consistent patterns of relationships in the literature. The results show that children with high emotional intelligence are better able to manage academic pressure, demonstrate good social skills and have high motivation to learn, which together contribute to improved academic performance. The study also emphasizes the importance of integrating emotional intelligence development in the education curriculum, as part of a holistic approach to learning. This research not only outlines the contribution of emotional intelligence to academic achievement, but also provides a basic concept for educational interventions that focus on the balance between cognitive and emotional aspects of development.

This study aims to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and student achievement at the junior high school level. Emotional intelligence includes an individual's ability to recognize, understand, and manage their own emotions and establish interpersonal relationships effectively. In the context of education, emotional intelligence is believed to have a significant influence on learning motivation, stress management, and social interaction in the school environment. This study used a qualitative approach with observation techniques and in-depth interviews with students and teachers in three different schools. The findings showed that students with high levels of emotional intelligence tend to have better learning achievements, characterized by stable academic grades, positive learning attitudes, and the ability to work together with peers. Conversely, students with low emotional intelligence tend to have difficulty in managing conflict, lack focus in learning, and show symptoms of stress that have a negative impact on academic achievement. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening aspects of emotional intelligence in the learning process in order to create a more holistic learning environment and support students' academic success.

Children's emotional development is an important foundation in the formation of personality, social behavior, and mental health in the future. Parenting patterns are one of the crucial factors that influence how children learn to recognize, manage, and express their emotions. This article aims to explore the relationship between various types of parenting patterns (authoritarian, authoritative, permissive, and neglectful) with the emotional development of children from early childhood to early adolescence. This study used a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques with ten families from different socio-economic backgrounds. The results showed that authoritative parenting positively contributed to children's emotional regulation, while authoritarian and neglectful parenting tended to correlate with increased anxiety, aggressiveness, and difficulties in social adaptation. In addition, it was found that cultural context and relational factors (such as emotional communication between parents and children) greatly influenced the effectiveness of parenting patterns in supporting children's emotional development. This study suggests the importance of positive parenting training for parents as a preventive measure against disorders in children's emotional development.

Post-COVID-19 pandemic, social media usage has increased significantly, especially among adolescents. This trend coincides with the increasing pressure on beauty standards disseminated through social media content such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. This study aims to explore how exposure to social media content affects adolescents’ body image disorders after the pandemic. Using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with ten adolescent girls aged 15-18 years, this study found that most respondents experienced dissatisfaction with their bodies after consuming content that displayed ideal beauty standards. Pressure to appear perfect, social comparison, and social media algorithms that amplify exposure to similar content are the main triggers for the emergence of body image disorders. This study highlights the need for stronger digital literacy and psychological education to help adolescents develop a healthy relationship with their bodies.

The transformation of parenting patterns in the digital era reflects a fundamental paradigm shift in the relationship between parents and children that no longer only takes place in physical space, but also penetrates the virtual realm that is full of value ambiguity. Digital parenting is not just about mastering technology, but also demands reflective, participatory, and ethical abilities from parents to guide children in navigating the digital world. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method to examine the relationship between digital parenting patterns and children's moral development amidst the onslaught of instant global information and values. The findings show that the digital literacy gap between generations and the lack of value-based parenting approaches are the main factors in weakening children's moral formation. In this context, adaptive parenting strategies require active parental involvement through value mediation, dialogic communication, and strengthening digital moral literacy. The digital space that has become an agent of value socialization implicitly demands the critical presence of adults as ethical facilitators, not just technical controllers. This study emphasizes the urgency of reconstructing the parenting paradigm towards a model that is responsive to the moral challenges of the technological era, as well as the importance of collaboration between families, schools, and communities in forming an ethical and reflective digital parenting ecosystem.
