Abstract

The integration of digital technology in education has brought significant changes, especially through the implementation of Learning Management System (LMS), artificial intelligence (AI), and augmented reality (AR). LMS allows flexibility in learning, while AI helps in personalization of materials and identification of students' learning difficulties. AR, on the other hand, enriches the learning experience with interactive visualizations. In addition, game-based learning approaches and virtual reality (VR) technology enhance students' motivation and understanding of complex material. However, the application of this technology still faces challenges, such as limited infrastructure in remote areas, educator readiness, and digital access gaps. This study used descriptive qualitative methods with interviews, observations and document analysis of 30 respondents consisting of teachers, students and educational technology developers. The results show that technology integration improves student engagement and learning effectiveness, but still requires infrastructure support and training for educators. To optimize the implementation of technology in education, synergy is needed between the government, educational institutions and the private sector in providing adequate facilities and training. With the right strategy, technology can be a catalyst in creating a more adaptive, inclusive and up-to-date education system.

Abstract

Bullying in schools is a serious problem that impacts students' psychological, social and academic well-being. In the digital age, the phenomenon has become more complex with the emergence of cyber-bullying that can occur outside the school environment but still affects students' social dynamics. Lack of awareness, regulation and effective prevention strategies are challenges in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment. Therefore, a systematic approach is needed to address bullying and build a positive school culture to support students' optimal development. This study aims to identify the forms of bullying that occur in schools, evaluate the strategies that have been implemented in preventing and handling bullying, and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in building a positive school culture. This study used a qualitative approach with interview and observation methods. The results show that although some schools have implemented anti-bullying policies, challenges are still found in its implementation, especially in dealing with cyber bullying that is difficult to control. More effective intervention programs involve educational approaches, such as social skills training for students, strengthening the role of teachers and counselors in mentoring students, and active involvement of parents in bullying prevention. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of strengthening anti-bullying policies that are more adaptive to technological developments, increasing the competence of educators in handling bullying cases, and collaboration between schools, parents and communities in creating a safer, more inclusive school environment that supports holistic student development

Abstract

In the science learning process, one of the abilities that needs to be developed to achieve 21st century skills is the ability to think critically in solving or resolving problems. Critical thinking is an important competency that must be developed through learning. In the science learning process, one of the abilities that needs to be developed to achieve 21st century skills is the ability to think critically in resolving or solving problems. Students' critical thinking abilities must be honed and trained in the classroom. There are lots of learning media that use the latest technology in the era of society 5.0, one of which is animated video learning media. Efforts to develop students' optimal critical thinking skills require interactive classes, students are seen as thinkers, not people being taught, and teachers act as mediators, facilitators and motivators who help students learn, not teach. Animated videos are a different learning media and can make students focus on learning, namely animated video-based learning media. Animation is a collection of images that will be processed in such a way that they can produce movement. This research aims to test the effect of the PBL model accompanied by Canva AI animated videos on critical thinking skills in science learning.  The use of video media in the form of animated video media can provide a good response to students. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and learning outcomes tests to measure students' critical thinking abilities. The data analysis technique used was a normality test with a t test with an independent sample t test which showed that the PBL model accompanied by Canva AI animation videos had a significant effect on critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the world of education, one of which is through mobile learning (mlearning). Mlearning allows learning to take place flexibly, overcome the limitations of space and time, and is adjusted to the individual's learning rhythm. In Indonesia, the adoption of mlearning is increasingly relevant after the COVID19 pandemic, with smartphones as the main device used. Based on APJII data (2023), more than 70% of internet users in Indonesia access the internet via smartphones, showing the great potential of mlearning for the future of education. However, the implementation of mlearning faces challenges such as the gap in access to technology and low digital literacy. Mlearning also encourages a personalized learning paradigm, where students can access materials that suit their needs and learning styles. AI-based applications, microlearning, and gamification make it easier to create a contextual and adaptive learning experience. However, the challenges of managing the quality of materials and equitable access need to be overcome. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature study to understand the development of mlearning and its challenges. It is hoped that the integration of this technology can support more inclusive and sustainable education, with an important role for education policies, teacher training, and increasing digital literacy among students.

Abstract

Speaking skills in language learning play an important role in everyday communication, but in the context of Arabic language learning, many students face difficulties in speaking due to limited vocabulary, low self-confidence, and lack of authentic interaction. The Role Play method is one of the effective solutions in improving students' speaking skills by providing a more interactive and contextual communication experience. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Role Play method in Arabic language learning through a literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that the Role Play method, which is based on Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), is able to increase spontaneous speaking, reduce anxiety, and enrich vocabulary and understanding of language structures. Its success depends on relevant scenarios, gradual guidance, and constructive feedback from teachers. However, challenges such as low student self-confidence and limited contextual scenarios are still obstacles in its implementation. Therefore, supportive learning strategies, the use of digital media, and a learning environment that encourages active interaction are needed. With the right approach, the Role Play method can be an effective alternative in improving Arabic speaking skills actively and meaningfully.
