Abstract

The development of the gas station business is currently very tempting for entrepreneurs, it can be witnessed that lately many gas station constructions have begun in the city to remote villages though. One of the most important things that is sometimes overlooked by gas station entrepreneurs is the quality of the fuel they sell and in general, monitoring the contents of the tank at gas stations is done manually. The purpose of the study was to design a Prototype of the Water Content Detection System and tank level, which aims to help gas station managers measure water content and monitor fuel content in gas station tanks automatically and realtime so that fuel quality is maintained, information can be monitored through web-based systems and mobile applications with Internet of Things technology. The IoT system design consists of an Arduino Uno R4 microcontroller, HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, conductivity sensor, and selenoid valve. The accuracy test results of the ultrasonic sensor used are good enough to measure the contents of the tank with an average error of 1.3%, while the conductivity sensor measurement has an average error of 0.292% with a validation process using the centrifuge method, The selenoid valve works well which is activated through a web-based monitoring application and a mobile application.

Abstract

Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik is expected to be able to carry out its tasks and functions as a promoter of government affairs in the area of national unity and politics. However, there is still a frequent process of verification of registration files of association organizations and political parties, which is interrupted so that the registration process becomes obstructed. There are no available data on the existence and management of both social organizations and political parties. Delivery of accountability reports for political party funds is always late so the financial administration process is hampered, causing low budget absorption. Delivery of data desks of elections of heads of district or general elections is still manual, so late incoming reports cause information to the leadership to be unupdated. The research is aimed at building a web-based information system that provides registration, verification and filing features for political parties and association organizations. The method used is Extreme Programming with phases of planning, design, encoding, and testing. The results of this study resulted in a reliable and easy-to-use information system and showed 100% accuracy of the black box test results.

Abstract

The Zero Point intersection is the zero point of Manado City which is also the transfer point for public transportation passengers. The land use around this location is offices, pharmacies, shops, places of worship, hotels and there are also street vendors. This research is to analyze the characteristics of Zero Point intersections using the 2014 Indonesian Road Capacity Calculation (PKJI) method and the PTV Vissim application simulation to obtain alternative solutions. The results of the analysis are that the highest traffic volume (Q) occurred on Monday at 6493.4 cur/hour, vehicle capacity (C) was 2900 cur/hour, the degree of saturation (DJ) was 1,329, the intersection delay value (T) was 376,6 seconds/currency and the Level of Service (LOS) of the unsignaled intersection is at level D which indicates poor intersection performance. The results of this analysis then looked for alternative solutions by trial and error and the chosen alternative was to improve the performance of unsignalized intersections, namely the first was to change the vehicle's turning direction from the direction of Jl. Sudirman (next to Bank Sulut) which will turn towards Jl. Sam Ratulangi has to go around the Zero Point roundabout and the second alternative is to make changes, namely making a median or road divider on the Jl. Sudirman (next to Bank Sulut).

Abstract

Bone Bolango Regency is currently experiencing a fairly rapid development process and automatically has an impact on the high demand for material resources, one of which is C excavated material. Currently, there are at least 40 (forty) companies and individuals who have mining activity permits for excavation C covering a mining area of around 360 Ha. This number does not include activities that do not yet have a permit. This, of course, will have an impact on the biophysical and socio-economic environment of miners. Therefore, researchers took 2 sample locations, namely in Owata Village, Bulango Ulu District, and Longalo Village, North Bulango District, considering that both villages have a fairly large mining area of excavation C compared to other villages. Researchers will analyze the perception of mining communities regarding C mining activities and the impacts caused by the biophysical and socio-economic environment. The results of the analysis will be used in formulating local government policy strategies to maximize positive impacts and minimize negative impacts. Miners' perception of C mining activities was obtained through questionnaire results on 50 (fifty) respondents divided into 25 (twenty-five) respondents in Owata Village and 25 (twenty-five) respondents in Longalo Village. The impact is obtained through qualitative methods, namely from primary data such as surveys and interviews and supported by secondary data from related departments. After that, local government policy strategies are obtained through the SWOT analysis method, namely the results of questionnaires on experts. The results of the analysis show the perception of the mining community in Owata Village and Longalo Village regarding mining activities, namely all of them agree with the mining activities of quarry C. They also fully agree if it is stated that mining activities help support daily income which is useful in supporting the cost of their children's education and the need for socialization related to mining activities from the Regional Government. As for miners who disagree if related to arguments that state that mining activities meet safety standards, can trigger conflicts between miners, are required to have health insurance, have a negative impact on the environment, cause floods, landslides and damage to roads, cause cough disease / ISPA and are obliged to mine managers to make efforts to improve the environment. The impact of mining activities in excavation C on the biophysical environment is (i) soil pollution due to oil splatters produced by machines and heavy equipment used, water in the form of decreased / turbid groundwater quality and exceeding the quality standards of COD and BOD criteria which indicate that groundwater has been contaminated with domestic waste, and air in the form of decreased air quality due to dust produced from mining and transportation activities, (ii) The potential for floods and erosion / landslides in the form of increasing intensity of floods and landslides that often occur in mining areas and surrounding areas, while the impact on economic conditions is as a source of economic income by the community and the impact on social conditions is conflict over mining land ownership.Policy strategies that can be taken by the Regional Government of Bone Bolango Regency to minimize the negative impact of mining activities in excavation C are: (i) Determination of mine sites based on identification and inventory of material reserves, (ii) post-mining land reclamation/rehabilitation, (iii) Erosion and flood control through soil and water conservation efforts.

Abstract

Indonesia, as an archipelagic nation, requires an efficient transportation system to support economic mobility and tourism. Djalaludin Airport in Gorontalo plays a pivotal role in facilitating economic and tourism activities within Gorontalo Province. Airport management, involving operators and service users, aims to deliver high-quality services. However, some service aspects still fall short, particularly in physical facility comfort and process efficiency. This study seeks to identify service attributes that need improvement to enhance overall service quality. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing SERVQUAL analysis based on five dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using a gap method to measure discrepancies between passenger expectations and perceptions. Attribute prioritization was conducted using Fuzzy AHP to identify key areas for improvement, followed by a fishbone analysis to uncover root causes of the identified issues. The results indicate a service conformity level of 87.61%, but notable negative gaps remain in key attributes, such as air circulation comfort in waiting areas and baggage claim efficiency. Recommendations include increasing air conditioning capacity and optimizing conveyor systems to expedite baggage handling. Improving these core attributes suggests that enhancing service quality at Djalaludin Airport will boost passenger satisfaction and loyalty while supporting sustainable growth in air transportation and tourism sectors in Gorontalo Province.

Abstract

Humanitarian logistics plays a crucial role in disaster management, yet it faces persistent challenges in ensuring equitable and efficient aid distribution. These challenges include high operational costs, inequitable resource allocation, and limited adaptability to dynamic disaster conditions. Existing models, either cost-based or priority-based, fail to balance these competing demands effectively. This research addresses this gap by developing a hybrid multi-objective optimization model that integrates cost minimization and priority-based resource allocation. The primary objective of this study is to optimize aid distribution in disaster-affected regions, ensuring both efficiency and fairness. The model employs a quantitative research approach, leveraging mathematical programming to simulate disaster scenarios. Key variables include operational costs, delivery times, demand levels, and priority rankings, collected from hypothetical disaster data. The results reveal that the hybrid model significantly outperforms conventional approaches. It achieves up to a 15% reduction in operational costs and a 25% improvement in aid coverage for high-priority regions. Furthermore, it balances resource allocation effectively across regions with varying levels of need. The discussion emphasizes the model's adaptability and scalability, offering practical solutions for disaster relief operations. In conclusion, the hybrid model presents a robust framework for humanitarian logistics, addressing inefficiencies and inequities in aid distribution. This research impacts policy-making and operational planning, paving the way for more effective disaster management strategies.
