Abstract

Conflicts brawl into a very intensive occurrence occurred in the district Johar Baru, DKI Jakarta. The brawlers are from teenagers forming a brawl gang. Through using qualitative research method, we began to know the mapping of conflict and the collective behavior as an action and reaction from conflict condition in Johar Baru sub-district comprehensively by intelligence analysis. Several factors trigger the occurrence of conflicts, especially social, economic and political factors make the brawl into one of the activities that belong to deviate from social norms and occur in a sustainable manner. In fact, it is alleged that the perpetuation of brawl activities among adolescents in the district of Johar Baru is an alibi of organized crime acts of drug dealer transactions in an area in the district Johar Baru. This intelligence analysis, adolescent torturing or somewhat similar here is analyzed from a social perspective to provide conflict resolution for citizens in the Johar Baru sub-district. Hence, we can do the mapping of opportunities and potentials of its citizens and develop strategies of weaknesses and obstacles encountered, referred to as SWOT analysis

Abstract

This study analyzes the individual resilience of young HIV patients at the Teratai Clinic, Community Health Center, Kebayoran Lama District, South Jakarta City and influences it on Indonesian demographics. This study specifically aims to examine the condition of individual resilience of young HIV patients at the Teratai Clinic, Community Health Center, Kebayoran Lama District, South Jakarta City and the accompanying factors. Then the condition of individual resilience will have implications for the demographics of Indonesia. The method used is a qualitative method which is analyzed based on observations of the facts and phenomena found. Sources of data in this study are divided into primary and secondary sources. Primary data sources are in the form of interviews with respondents and direct observations of them. Secondary data sources are studies of related literature and documentation. The study uses the individual resilience theory popularized by Soemarno Soedarsono and an analysis of Indonesian demography using demographic variables studied by Hardiani. The results of this study indicate that three out of ten respondents have weak individual resilience (not strong) due to the lack of a place to tell stories and are prone to experiencing mood swings. Starting from worrying about his health, production period and sins committed in the past. Their individual resilience also has an impact on Indonesia's demographics. At birth rates, in general, couples who are infected with HIV and are not on ARV therapy will choose not to have children for fear of transmitting the disease to their partners and children. Regarding the death rate, this can be seen from FM. He died because he did not care about his condition which had been infected with HIV. Population mobility is also affected. Many people avoid living in the capital and other big cities which are likely to be influenced by promiscuity and will increase the rate of HIV transmission

Abstract

New Psychoactive Substance (NPS) is a substance that is deliberately made in such a way that it has effects similar to Narcotics and psychotropics which pose a threat both globally, regionally and which are harmful to health and can cause social and economic problems with a decrease in the number of productive ages due to or premature death. The development of the NPS which is indicative of transnational organized crime to evade regulation. NPS in Indonesia is also a serious threat as indicated by the number of NPS currently circulating as many as 84 types and the number of confiscations continues to increase. However, the development of the NPS is not regulated by regulations. The method used in this article is a normative juridical approach with secondary data from regulations regarding NPS. Literature study was used as a method of data collection and analysis with an analytical qualitative approach. Of the 84 successful NPS, 9 of them have not been regulated. The irony is that the 9 NPS that have not been regulated are the types of NPS that are widely circulating in Indonesia, because in handling it, a new breakthrough is needed in the prosecution of NPS cases. Law enforcers can adopt the rules of international law that are already in effect. For example, a list of NPS issued by international institutions (UNODC, EMCDDA) or regulations related to NPS that have been issued by other countries as Narcotics. Abstract

Indonesia is currently experiencingdegradation of nationalism, it is indicated by the attitude of some of the younger generation who do not really appreciate national symbols, such as the Indonesia Raya song and the Red-White flag. One of the areas that has a level of vulnerability to the degradation of nationalism is communities who live in the border region, this is due to the location of the region which is very far from the center of government or it can be said that the region is closest to neighboring countries. The vulnerability of nationalism degradation in the border area of Indonesia can be seen from the case of the separation of Timor Leste from Indonesia. Alor Island, which is located directly neighboring to the Democratic Republic of Timor Lestehas strong national ties to this country due to their racial and ethnic similarities. The existence of these equations can encourage and influence the degradation of nationalism. This study aims to analyze the nationalism of the border society of the Republic of Indonesia on Alor Island, East Nusa Tenggara. Researcher used descriptive analysis method in this study. The results showed that the people of Alor Island are considered to have a strong attitude of nationalism but are still vulnerable to the degradation of nationalism. It is still necessary to maintain and even increase the nationalism of the Indonesian border society on Alor Island Keywords: Nationalism, Border Society, Republic of Indonesia, Alor Island

Abstract

The implementation of Security Sector Reform in the context of security and supervision in Indonesia's border areas still has a lot of homework that needs to be done, both in terms of regulations and institutions. In addition to the multidimensional sources of threat, the operational institutions of the Border Agency components (Customs and Excise, TNI, Polri, National Border Management Agency (BNPP) and immigration) still seem to work in a sectoral, overlapping, and not cross integrated manner. sector, which of course in carrying out their duties there will be clashes and conflicts of interest from each of these institutions. The handling of potentially corrupt Border Agency officers is also a very decisive factor in the occurrence of a potential national security threat in the border area. Strengthening the Concept of Security Sector Reform based on Integrated Border Management (IBM) offers new hope in the context of solving problems and dynamics of threats in the territory of Indonesia. The advantages offered by IBM are guarantees that the Border Agency or the authorized parties in their duties and functions to carry out supervision, service, and security in the Indonesian border areas, will be able to work together with the same vision and mission through the application of cross-sectoral integration, in order to facilitate movement of people and goods across national borders. IBM also guarantees that on all coasts of the Indonesian border, surveillance, service and security activities in the Indonesian border areas will be carried out with the same method, method and quality wherever the border is located. Abstract

Since it was officially promulgated on November 2, 2020, the presence of the Omnibus Law on Job Creation has repealed two regulations and amended at least 80 (eighty) other laws. Particularly in the labor cluster, four laws are affected, including regulations related to Migrant Workers, which have not been widely explained. This study aims to explain the dynamics of the Indonesian Migrant Workers (IMW) regulatory policy and several problems in the omnibus law on Job Creation. To further analyze and describe the implications of the Omnibus law on the prospects for PMI resilience. As a policy study, this research uses secondary data in the form of statutory regulation and literature. The data were analyzed using conceptual and normative approaches which were presented in a descriptive-qualitative manner. The results showed that IMW's regulatory policies included international policies that emphasized the recognition of migrant workers' rights. Meanwhile, at the national level, IMW protection policies have been regulated in a specific law which over time has become more accommodating to their interests. However, the presence of the Omnibus law has changed and loosened the licensing provisions for Indonesian Migrant Worker Placement Companies (P3MI) in the law, which has an impact on IMW's vulnerability. So that instead of being progressive, the omnibus law on Job Creation brings the prospect of resilience to Indonesian migrant workers in a degressive direction.
