Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh dzikir dalam perspektif Al-Qurthubi dengan menganalisis tafsirnya terhadap ayat-ayat yang berkaitan dengan dzikir. Al-Qurthubi, dalam karyanya Tafsir al-Jami’ li Ahkam al-Qur’an, memberikan penjelasan mendalam mengenai makna, keutamaan, serta dampak dzikir terhadap kehidupan individu dan masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis tafsir tematik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dzikir menurut al-Qurthubi bukan hanya menyebut nama Allah, tapi mencakup seluruh aktivitas yang mengingatkan kita kepada-Nya, dengan ketulusan hati, keikhlasan dan ketaatan kepada Allah. Dzikir memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam mendatangkan ketenangan hati, mendekatkan hamba kepada Allah, mendapatkan rahmat dan ampunan-Nya, serta perlindungan dari kelalaian. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa dzikir bukan hanya amalan ibadah, tetapi juga sarana untuk memperkuat hubungan spiritual dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup manusia.

Abstract

The interpretation of the Qur'an in the contemporary context cannot be separated from the influence of the social and cultural environment surrounding the interpreters. Different from the classical approach which tends to be textual and normative, contemporary interpretation is more open to the dynamics of modern society, including issues of gender, human rights, pluralism, and social change. This article aims to examine how socio-cultural factors influence the process and results of interpretation of the Qur'an by contemporary interpreters. Using qualitative methods based on literature studies and a hermeneutic approach, this study analyzes the works of several modern interpreters such as Fazlur Rahman, Amina Wadud, and Quraish Shihab. The findings show that social and cultural constructions play a significant role in shaping the perspective, choice of themes, and emphasis of meaning in the resulting interpretation. Interpretation is no longer understood as a single product of the text, but as a dynamic dialogue between the text, context, and interpreter. This article concludes that awareness of socio-cultural influences can open up space for more relevant, humanistic, and contextual interpretations in responding to the challenges of the times. This research is expected to contribute to the development of a more inclusive and reflective contemporary interpretation methodology.

Abstract

The sacred text known as the Qur'an has been, continues to be, and will continue to be interpreted across time. As science and time have advanced, hermeneutical techniques or procedures have started to emerge as substitute tools for illuminating the meaning of a verse's text. A form of interpretation known as hermeneutics looks at the verse's language as well as its literal meaning if possible. Therefore, it is envisaged that the Hermeneutics approach will be able to uncover aspects that are not known by traditional interpretation techniques. Examining the hermeneutical approach to the study of the Al-Qur'an manuscript is the goal of this article. The type of research used in this research is library research. When accepting a method that is relatively new, Muslims must be able to act wisely, not reject it blindly and also not accept it completely. A selective attitude is very necessary. Accepting hermeneutics as an interpretive method aims to understand the nuanced world of texts from the past with the current empirical world. This aims to bring the two of them closer together so that they can answer all the problems that occur in society. Of course, while still paying attention to the rules of interpretation that have been formulated by scholars.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Sufi nuances of al-Naisaburi's interpretation model of the story of the Qur'an in the book of interpretation Ghara'ib al-Qur'an wa Ragha'ib al-Furqan. The Sufi approach in interpreting the Qur'an has raised pros and cons, but this is not a signal to be a priori with this kind of interpretation model. So far, the presentation of the story of the Qur'an has been dominated by a textual interpretation model. In fact, by revealing the story of the Qur'an from the inner side, it will provide new colors and nuances in understanding the wisdom behind the narrative of the story in the Qur'an. By using a descriptive-analytical method, this study describes and analyzes the results of al-Naisaburi's interpretation related to the story of the prophet Moses. The results of this study indicate that the portrait of al-Naibari's interpretation of QS. al-Baqarah: 67-68 shows his skill in combining the literal and inner meanings of a verse. Reading the story in the Qur'an feels less effective in life if it is only to know the chronological flow of an event that occurred in the past by only paying attention to its textual meaning. However, if the verses of the story in the Qur'an are explored with Sufi reason, then the inner meaning contained in it will be seen which is full of wisdom and deep knowledge of the events that occurred in the story.

Abstract

The development of contemporary Qur'anic interpretation cannot be separated from the role of philosophy as one of the intellectual approaches in understanding the sacred text. Philosophy, with its rational and systematic tools, offers a new perspective in understanding the complex and contextual meanings of the Qur'an. This article aims to examine the extent of the influence of philosophy in the methods and results of contemporary Qur'anic interpretation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method on the works of contemporary exegetes such as Muhammad Abduh, Fazlur Rahman, and Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd. The research findings show that philosophical thought provides a strong methodological foundation for interpretation, especially in the hermeneutic approach, rational ethics, and epistemology of revelation. Philosophical-based interpretation of the Qur'an tends to be reflective, rational, and progressive, so that it is able to answer the intellectual and social challenges of modern society. Thus, the integration between interpretation and philosophy not only broadens the horizon of understanding the Qur'an, but also strengthens the relevance of the Qur'an in contemporary life

Abstract

This study discusses the evaluation of the tabarak method in memorizing the Qur'an that fosters Qur'anic character, located at the Savaty Qur'an School Makassar. The method used with quantitative evaluative type, so that the data collection method is done with documents, observations, and questionnaires. This study took samples at Sekoloah Qur'an Savaty Makassar by taking a sample of 60 students. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The results of the evaluation of the Tabarak Method planning in memorizing the Quran and cultivating Quranic character are 94% with very good criteria. 2) The evaluation results of the plan to apply the Tabarak Method in memorizing the Quran and cultivating Quranic character are 71% with good criteria. 3) The evaluation results of the Tabarak Method in Memorizing the Quran and Cultivating Quranic Character are 70% with good criteria. These results provide information that the Tabarak Method is a more effective method used in memorizing the Qur'anin in Savaty Qur'an School Makassar and at the same time can grow the character of the Quran.

Abstract

Values and norms can be conveyed and instilled through healthy communication between parents and children, thereby fostering positive mental qualities in children. That is why creating healthy communication between parents and children is important, as it plays a role in children's growth and development. How can parents build such communication to create healthy communication between parents and children? Here, the author refers to the story of communication between Jacob and Joseph, as mentioned in the Quran, Surah Yusuf, verses 4-5. How does Islam regulate healthy communication between parents and children through the story of Yusuf in the Quran? Research findings indicate that there are many values of healthy communication between parents and children that the Quran presents from the story of Jacob with little Joseph. Among these are the communication methods employed by Jacob as. toward Jospeh, which are characterized by kind, gentle, and calm words and language, speaking while considering and respecting the child’s feelings, and engaging in open and equal communication. These values can be derived from the story of Jacob as. with little Joseph as. depicted in Surah Yusuf, verses 4-5.

Abstract

The historical approach to tafsir reflects the transformation of understanding of the Qur'an, which is not limited to doctrinal aspects, but also encompasses the complex social phenomenon. This approach allows researchers to analyze the Qur'an in a broader context, connecting the sacred text with the social, cultural, and political conditions of its time. This approach provides a broader perspective on the meaning of the Qur'an. The method used in this study is qualitative with a literature review approach, which examines how the historical approach has developed from the era of the classical scholars to the present. The results of the study show that understanding the Qur'an through a historical approach provides new insights relevant to contemporary contexts. By analyzing lafaz (words), the background of the verses, and socio-linguistic aspects, this study aims to understand the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an more deeply. This approach not only enriches tafsir studies, but also contributes to a more comprehensive and contextualized understanding of Islam, making it relevant in addressing the challenges of the modern era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji relevansi bai’at dengan kehidupan modern saat ini dalam tafsir haraki melalui pendekatan komparatif terhadap dua tafsir terkemuka: "Fi Dzilal al-Qur'an" karya Sayyid Quthb dan "Min Wahyi al-Qur'an" karya Muhammad Husain Fadlullah. Bai’at, sebagai janji setia dalam Islam, memiliki peran penting dalam membangun ikatan antara individu dan kepemimpinan dalam konteks dakwah dan gerakan Islam. penelitian ini memiliki tema yang sama dengan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Samsul Bahri, Zainuddin dan Muhammad Husni bin Ismail dengan judul “Bai’at Dalam Al-Qur’an Menurut Ibnu Katsir” yang dimuat dalam Jurnal of Islamic Studies pada tahun 2019 di UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Pada penelitian tersebut hanya Tafsir Ibnu Katsir yang menjadi rujukan utama, sedangkan pada penelitian ini menjadikan dua kitab tafsir sebagai rujukan utama; Tafsir fi Zilal Al-Qur’an dan Min Wahyi Al-Qur’an. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelian kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan studi komparasi yang deskriptif dan analitif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumentatif dalam pengumpulan data. Dalam menganalisa menggunakan teknik analisa konten (content analysis). Hasil penelitian ini adalah pertama, baiat merupakan ajang pembuktian jati diri seorang muslim untuk menjadi mukmin yang sesungguhnya. Baiat yang benar akan mendapat ridha Allah dan sebaliknya, jika tidak maka perlu ditinjau ulang baiat tersebut. Kedua, baiat masih relevan hingga kehidupan kontemporer saat ini meliputi tiga aspek kehidupan; ibadah, siyasah dan muamalah..

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana Al-Qur'an diterima dan diimplementasikan dalam tradisi Rebo Wekasan, khususnya melalui praktik dzikir dan shalat li daf'il bala' yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi pentingnya tradisi Rebo Wekasan dalam budaya lokal masyarakat Megamendung dan bagaimana tradisi ini menjadi media untuk mengekspresikan keagamaan dan spiritualitas mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dzikir dan shalat li daf'il bala' pada tradisi Rebo Wekasan memiliki makna simbolis yang mendalam bagi masyarakat Megamendung. Praktik ini dianggap sebagai upaya untuk memohon perlindungan dan keberkahan dari Allah SWT, serta sebagai bentuk ikhtiar spiritual dalam menghadapi berbagai ancaman dan marabahaya. Selain itu, penelitian ini menemukan adanya dinamika perubahan dan adaptasi dalam pelaksanaan tradisi ini, seiring dengan pengaruh modernisasi dan globalisasi. Menyimpulkan bahwa resepsi Al-Qur'an dalam tradisi Rebo Wekasan di Kecamatan Megamendung merupakan manifestasi dari integrasi antara nilai-nilai keagamaan dan budaya lokal. Praktik dzikir dan shalat li daf'il bala' tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ritual keagamaan, tetapi juga sebagai sarana untuk memperkuat ikatan sosial dan identitas budaya masyarakat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang hubungan antara agama dan budaya dalam konteks lokal
