Abstract

This study aims to determine the to identify the lowest surface roughness value achieved through these variations. The research instrument used a surface roughness tester with a total of 27 test samples. The research method employed was quantitative descriptive. The results of this study concluded that: The best surface roughness result at a cutting speed of 75 mm/min achieved an average surface roughness value of 0.09 µm. The best outcome at a cutting depth of 0.1 mm achieved an average surface roughness value of 0.11 µm. The optimal surface roughness result at a cutting speed of 75 mm/min combined with a cutting depth of 0.1 mm yielded a surface roughness of 0.06 µm. This is due to the fact that lower variations in cutting speed and depth result in finer surface roughness.

Abstract

This article discusses the transformational-generative theory developed by Noam Chomsky and its application in Arabic language learning. This theory explains how humans have an innate ability to acquire language through the Language Acquisition Device (LAD). Language structure consists of two parts: deep structure and surface structure, which are connected through transformational rules. This study aims to integrate the transformational-generative theory into Arabic language learning, taking into account the unique characteristics of Arabic, such as the i'rab system, verbal sentences (jumlah fi'liyah), and nominal sentences (jumlah ismiyah). This theory aids in generating an unlimited number of sentences through a creative process. Although the theory has the advantage of separating linguistic knowledge from speaking skills, its drawback lies in neglecting clauses and assuming that language is an innate ability that requires minimal practice.

Abstract

Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury is one of the most common injuries, particularly among athletes, often requiring ACL reconstruction surgery to restore optimal knee function. Postoperative ACL rehabilitation necessitates a comprehensive physiotherapy approach to prevent complications such as pain, edema, reduced range of motion (ROM), and to improve muscle strength and joint stability. Various physiotherapy modalities have been widely used during rehabilitation, but further evaluation of their effectiveness is still required. This study aims to evaluate the physiotherapy management of patients following ACL reconstruction, focusing on therapeutic modalities used to reduce pain, improve ROM, strengthen muscles, and prevent complications, as well as to assess the outcomes of various physiotherapy interventions. This literature review gathers data from five articles published between 2020 and 2024, which discuss various physiotherapy interventions for patients post-ACL reconstruction. These articles include the use of ultrasound, electrotherapy (TENS), patellar mobilization, eccentric quadriceps exercise, and manual therapy. The data collected covers results such as pain reduction, ROM improvement, edema reduction, and muscle strength enhancement. The findings of this review indicate that ultrasound therapy and eccentric quadriceps exercises are effective in reducing pain and improving tendon flexibility, while patellar mobilization and electrotherapy (TENS) are shown to be effective in reducing edema and improving knee ROM. Additionally, muscle strength and dynamic balance also improved with structured strengthening exercises. The comprehensive application of these therapeutic modalities accelerates recovery in patients after ACL reconstruction surgery, although some patients may still require additional time to reach full athletic capacity

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce liquid volume and bioetanol content of the pyrolysis process. The results of this study are in the form of test results from pyrolysis. The test results at 70 ℃ produced a pyrolysis liquid volume of 726.6 ml, at 80 ℃ produced a pyrolysis liquid volume of 886.6 ml. At 90 ℃ produces a liquid volume of 1,190 ml. While at 70 ℃ produces bioetanol content with a percentage of 30.3 %, 80 ℃ produces bioetanol content with a percentage of 47 %, 90 ℃ produces bioetanol content with a percentage of 21.3 %. Both research results can be seen in the results of the Kruskal Wallis test which states the same sig value of 0.025 <0.05.

Abstract

The inheritance dispute within Eka Tjipta Widjaja's family reveals fundamental challenges in the application of inheritance law in Indonesia, particularly concerning equity in asset distribution and the recognition of inheritance rights for children born out of wedlock. Freddy Widjaja, as an illegitimate child, received a significantly smaller portion compared to other heirs, raising issues of inequality in inheritance distribution. Additionally, the validity of the 2008 will has been questioned due to its lack of detailed asset allocation, impacting legal certainty and increasing the potential for disputes among heirs. This study analyzes the implications of Constitutional Court Decision No. 46/PUU-VIII/2010, which grants civil rights to children born out of wedlock, and highlights the need for legal reform to ensure more equitable protection for all heirs. Recommendations include drafting wills with greater transparency and fairness and promoting equitable asset distribution in large family estates to prevent future disputes.

Abstract

The creation of legal contracts is an integral part of every business transaction and legal relationship between the parties. A valid and effective contract requires an understanding of the basic principles and proper techniques in its preparation, so that there are no misinterpretations that can lead to disputes. The principles of consensualism, freedom of contract, good faith, and clarity of rights and obligations are important foundations in ensuring that contracts have legal validity. In addition, the use of clear language, regulations on dispute resolution, and clauses regarding sanctions or force majeure are also techniques that must be applied to avoid mistakes that can harm the parties involved. Common mistakes in making contracts include unclear clauses, inconsistencies with applicable laws, and lack of clarity regarding the rights and obligations of the parties. Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to every aspect in the preparation of the contract so that the contract made is valid, binding, and can be implemented in accordance with applicable laws. In an effort to minimize legal risks, it is advisable to involve legal experts in the creation of contracts as a preventive measure to ensure a valid and effective contract.

Abstract

In Islamic education, perennialism philosophy is a tradition that emphasizes the values of eternal and supernatural truths. This school emphasizes the importance of developing students' character through holistic and cyclical application of values. The goal of this development is to form insan kamil, or whole human beings, who possess truth and goodness. Perennialism, which comes from the Latin word "perennis", meaning eternal or immortal, places the highest truth values derived from God in education. According to perennialism, the main goal of education is to gain possession of principles about reality, truth, and value that are not limited to time or place. Perennialism in Islamic education has many important aspects. First, the perennialism approach sees students as rational humans who have potential (fitrah) that needs to be mobilized. Educators have the main role in organizing learning activities and helping students. Second, perennialism theology emphasizes the importance of mental and intellectual exercises to find the real truth. Education must seek ways to acquire consistent and consistent knowledge, so the educational process must be the same and in accordance with the truth. Perennialism argues that the Islamic education curriculum should be centered on eternal truth values and should include material that can shape the student's personality so that it is in accordance with the goals of the educator.

Abstract

Junk food is processed food that is quickly processed and has an affordable price, but has low nutritional content. This study aims to compare the nutritional content between junk food and healthy food, especially in pizza and salad, and explain the impact of these two foods on health. Based on the results of the literature review, junk food such as pizza has a high content of calories, fat, and sodium which when consumed excessively can cause adverse effects such as the risk of obesity, heart disease, and hypertension. In contrast, salads are rich in fiber, low in calories, and high in minerals such as calcium and magnesium, which are beneficial and healthy for the body. The results of the study are expected to provide understanding to the public about the importance of choosing healthy foods to reduce the risk of degenerative diseases.
