Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of simple experiment-based learning media in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject on plant reproduction, specifically on mung beans (Vigna radiata), for elementary school students. The method used was an observational experiment using three aqua bottles filled with soil, each placed in different lighting conditions: full, partial, and no sunlight. Observations over eight days revealed significant differences in growth. The seedlings exposed to full sunlight exhibited optimal growth with the highest number of true leaves and a vibrant green color. Meanwhile, the seedlings exposed to partial sunlight exhibited slowed growth, and those exposed to no light at all exhibited etiolation and ultimately died. These findings confirm that light intensity significantly influences photosynthesis and plant growth, and demonstrate that this simple experimental medium can be an effective, contextual, and enjoyable learning tool for elementary school students in understanding the concept of plant reproduction. With a hands-on approach, students can develop concrete scientific understanding, improve observation skills, and foster critical scientific attitudes and environmental stewardship.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the forms and effectiveness of the use of learning media on static and dynamic electricity in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning at the Elementary School level. The background of this study is based on students' difficulties in understanding abstract electricity concepts and teachers' limitations in utilizing technology-based media. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation in several Elementary Schools that have implemented learning media in IPAS. The results of the study indicate that learning media, both conventional and digital, play an important role in increasing student engagement, conceptual understanding, and learning motivation. Digital media such as animated videos and interactive simulations (PhET) have been proven to be able to explain abstract phenomena visually and concretely, while simple teaching aids such as electroscopes are effective in demonstrating static electricity phenomena. The obstacles faced include limited technological infrastructure and teacher competence in using digital media. Therefore, teacher training and the provision of supporting facilities are key to optimizing media-based learning. This study recommends the use of interactive media as a contextual, engaging, and appropriate IPAS learning strategy that is appropriate to the cognitive characteristics of Elementary School students.

Abstract

Education has a very important role in human life, is fundamental, and cannot be separated from everyday life. The success of education is not only the responsibility of the government and related institutions, but also involves various other elements, including the role of teachers as educators and lecturers. This research aims to describe the application of traditional games in Physical Education, Sports and Health (PJOK) learning and analyze their influence on students' interest in learning. Using traditional game methods in learning PJOK can help students become more active in the learning process. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of traditional games has a positive impact on increasing students' activeness and interest in learning in PJOK subjects at SDN Datengan 2 Kediri. This conclusion is supported by an increase in students' average scores and the percentage of learning completion from the pre-cycle stage, cycle I, to cycle II. This increase occurred because traditional games applied in PJOK learning were able to make students more active and motivated to learn.

Abstract

Respons tanaman Putri Malu (Mimosa pudica) terhadap stimulasi sentuhan dan durasi waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk pemulihan. Tanaman Putri Malu dikenal memiliki mekanisme tigmonasti, yaitu respons cepat menutupnya daun dan tangkai sebagai tanggapan terhadap rangsangan fisik. Percobaan dilakukan dengan memberikan sentuhan pada daun Putri Malu menggunakan intensitas dan durasi yang bervariasi. Parameter yang diamati meliputi kecepatan respons menutupnya daun dan waktu yang diperlukan bagi tanaman untuk kembali ke posisi semula (pemulihan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensitas dan durasi sentuhan memengaruhi kecepatan respons dan lamanya waktu pemulihan. Semakin kuat atau lama sentuhan yang diberikan, semakin cepat respons penutupan terjadi, namun memerlukan waktu pemulihan yang lebih panjang.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pembelajaran lompat jauh pada siswa kelas V SDN Sukorame 4 Kota Kediri kurang memuaskan karena masih banyak siswa yang nilainya belum memenuhi standar Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang telah ditetapkan. Oleh karena itu digunakanlah pendekatan bermain lompat kanguru atau mengvariasikan berbagai macam permainan kedalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka peneliti menyimpulkan rumusan permasalahan yaitu “Apakah melalui pendekatan permainan lompat kanguru sebagai pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar lompat jauh pada siswa kelas V SDN Sukorame 4 Kota Kediri tahun Pelajaran 2024-2025. Lompat jauh melalui pendekatan lompat kanguru “longu” merupakan salah satu alternatif pembelajaran lompat jauh di Sekolah Dasar. Namun dalam proses pembelajaran belum terlaksana secara optimal, metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Hasil penelitian yang menggunakan 2 siklus dan 4 pertemuan menunjukan di siklus I nilai rata-rata akhir kelas 71,9 dengan nilai persentase ketuntasan 76% nilainya masih kurang memuaskan. Maka dilanjutkan di siklus II nialai rata-rata akhir kelas 75,04 dengan nilai persentase 95,2% nilai yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan yang diinginkan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan data pengamatan di lapangan dan kuesioner yang diperoleh dari evaluasi. Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui pendekatan bermain lompat kanguru pada materi lompat jauh dengan menggunakan media botol aqua dan pralon sebagai sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan dalam hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Sukorame 4 Kota Kediri.

Abstract

This research discusses the urgency of sharia certification for notaries from a legal perspective, particularly in drafting financing agreement deeds in Islamic banking institutions. Within the national legal system, notaries are authorized to prepare authentic deeds as regulated in the Notary Office Law. However, the absence of provisions requiring sharia competence for notaries creates a legal vacuum that may result in the material content of deeds contradicting Islamic legal principles. This study aims to analyze the regulatory need for sharia certification and examine the legal implications arising from the lack of substantive understanding among notaries regarding fiqh muamalah. This normative juridical research employs qualitative analysis of statutory regulations, fatwas, and legal documents. The findings indicate that discrepancies between notarial deeds and sharia principles can lead to legal uncertainty, diminished legitimacy of deeds as evidence, and potential contractual disputes. Therefore, sharia certification is required as a legal instrument to strengthen the Islamic economic legal system and to ensure legal protection for all parties involved in sharia-based financial transactions.

Abstract

This research was conducted because it is known that the City Government of Banjar still lacks innovation in the management of organic waste. Therefore, the objective of this research is to understand the innovations of the city government in utilizing organic waste in Banjar City. The method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results of the study conclude that the City Government of Banjar has issued policies that formally regulate the management of organic waste, such as the Mayor's Regulation Number 18 of 2022. In addition, budget allocations in the local government budget for organic waste management programs are also available. However, this allocation is still limited and not yet fully adequate to meet all sustainable management needs. The implementation of organic waste sorting at the household level has started to be applied, especially in areas that have received socialization and assistance. However, the use of technology such as composters and biodigesters is still not optimal due to a lack of socialization, minimal technical personnel, and limited budgets and human resources. The processed organic waste products such as compost and maggot feed have been produced and utilized, but they have not developed to their full potential. The main obstacle lies in the weak marketing of the products and the absence of a sustainable distribution system. The City Government of Banjar has successfully raised public awareness through campaigns such as 'Waste Sorting Movement from Home' as well as utilizing social media and environmental slogans like 'Green Banjar'. This effort is considered successful because environmental messages have reached the public, although there is still a need for visual reinforcement such as the use of mascots.

Abstract

Vegetative propagation is a method of asexual reproduction in plants that allows the propagation of new individuals that are genetically identical to their parents, without the involvement of gametes or seeds.This study aims to explore the concepts, types, applications, advantages, and challenges of vegetative propagation as a method of plant reproduction that does not involve gamete fusion. Using a literature review approach, two main categories are examined: natural vegetative propagation (rhizomes, stolons, tubers, bulbs, root tubers, adventitious buds, and bulbils) and artificial methods (cuttings, layering, grafting, budding, and tissue culture). Each technique offers advantages in accelerating growth, preserving superior genetic traits, and propagating plants that are difficult to reproduce sexually. The application of vegetative propagation is essential in modern agriculture, horticulture, conservation of rare species, and the development of disease-resistant varieties. However, limitations such as genetic uniformity, risk of systemic disease transmission, and high initial costs—especially in advanced techniques like tissue culture—must be considered. Therefore, selecting an appropriate method should align with cultivation goals and resource availability to support sustainable agriculture.

Abstract

The sensitive plant (mimosa pudica) is one of the unique plants because its leaves can fold when touched or stimulated. This plant has characteristics such as a small stem, sensitive leaves, and thorns around its stem. This plant is the subject of this laboratory work to understand the plant’s sensitivity to environmental stimuli.

Abstract

Open waste burning remains a common practice in Kenali Asam Bawah, Jambi City, with significant impacts on environmental quality and public health. This study aims to identify the practice, analyze its impacts, and formulate contextual adaptation and mitigation strategies. This qualitative descriptive research employed a case study approach through field observations, interviews with residents and community leaders, and document analysis. The findings reveal that waste burning is driven by inadequate waste collection services and limited awareness of its consequences. The waste includes organic and inorganic materials, producing harmful emissions such as PM2.5, dioxins, and heavy metals. These emissions contribute to respiratory problems, air and soil pollution, and potential disruption of local ecosystems. Recommended strategies include environmental education, strengthening of local institutions, development of waste management infrastructure, innovation in household waste processing, and reinforcement of anti-burning regulations. The study is expected to contribute to local emission reduction efforts and support sustainable waste management practices.
