Abstract

In the ever-evolving digital era, knowledge and skills in informatics are becoming more crucial. To equip the younger generation for future challenges, education should integrate technology into its curriculum such as coding programs to foster students' interests and talents in programming and technology. This research describes how coding is taught at the elementary school level and the benefits obtained from implementing coding based on existing research. This research is library research. Currently, many elementary schools in Indonesian Elementary schools are starting to teach coding as a lesson in the official curriculum and as an extracurricular activity. As technology advances and the importance of digital skills in the 21st century, many schools may realize that teaching coding early can help students develop computational thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills that are important for their future. The finding shows the use of coding especially Stracth in elementary students. Scratch has become a popular tool in teaching programming to children at the elementary school level. Scratch is a visual programming tool designed to introduce programming concepts, especially to children, to train computational thinking in beginners. Scratch allows students to learn programming without having to master complex programming languages. Using Scratch in learning coding has been proven to provide many benefits for students. Scratch helps improve computational thinking skills, programming understanding, and creativity. Scratch also helps students practice problem-solving strategies, accuracy, and critical thinking. In addition, students can create animations and games after taking part in the training, with the support of the important surrounding environment. Scratch supports interactive and fun learning, makes it easier to understand programming logic, and improves basic programming competencies. Overall, Scratch is effective in developing students' technology skills in an engaging and easy-to-understand way.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of FWEG (Fun Wordwall Energy Game) as an interactive learning medium in improving the science literacy of elementary school students. FWEG is a word-based media designed to help students understand the concept of energy in a fun and meaningful way. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of the study were grade V students in one of the public elementary schools, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the application of FWEG is able to increase students' active involvement in learning, facilitate the understanding of energy concepts, and encourage students to think critically and communicatively. In addition, students showed high enthusiasm in following the learning process using FWEG, which had a positive impact on improving their science literacy. Thus, FWEG can be an effective alternative learning media to support the development of students' science literacy at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Permasalahan rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar masih menjadi tantangan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam pembelajaran tematik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas penggunaan Wordwall sebagai media pembelajaran digital interaktif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar tematik siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus dan melibatkan 28 siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Slamet sebagai subjek penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, angket motivasi berdasarkan indikator ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction), dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam indikator motivasi belajar siswa, baik dari segi perhatian, keterlibatan aktif, maupun rasa percaya diri dan kepuasan terhadap proses belajar. Peningkatan skor angket dari 68,5 pada siklus I menjadi 82,3 pada siklus II menunjukkan efektivitas strategi ini. Dengan demikian, Wordwall dapat direkomendasikan sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif yang mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang interaktif, menyenangkan, dan bermakna bagi siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The Kawali Inscription, discovered in Ciamis Regency, West Java, is a significant historical artifact dating back to the 5th century AD. As one of the few surviving sources from the Sunda Kingdom, it offers valuable insights into the region's political, cultural, and historical context. This study aims to explore the historical and cultural values embedded in the inscription and examine how these can be effectively integrated into the Social Studies (IPS) curriculum for elementary and secondary education. Employing a qualitative approach with historical and content analysis methods, the research reveals that the Kawali Inscription is a rich resource for fostering students’ understanding of local history, strengthening cultural identity, and promoting critical thinking. The integration model includes the development of contextual learning materials, interactive teaching strategies, and project-based assessments aligned with curriculum objectives. This approach not only enriches historical learning but also supports character education through appreciation of Indonesia’s cultural heritage.

Abstract

Kasus intoleran menjadi tantangan serius bagi dunia pendidikan untuk mempertahankan rasa persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, Sekolah Dasar Saraswati 6 Denpasar menjadi sekolah yang berusaha membumikan Moderasi Beragama lewat sistem Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan menelaah penerapan Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah tersebut, dalam membumikan Moderasi Beragama di lingkungan sekolah. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini yang ingin dijawab, mengarah kepada esensi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah, Pembumian Moderasi Beragama, dan implikasi keduanya dalam menumbuhkembangkan Konsep Moderasi Beragama di SD Saraswati 6 Denpasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif, diiringi dengan pola pendekatan naturalistik. Berdasar atas sumber data primer dan sekunder, pengolahan data diimbangi dengan analisis data dari pendekatan Miles and Huberman. Temuan utama penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, SD Saraswati 6 Denpasar dengan Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah yang optimal mampu membumikan Moderasi Beragama lewat kegiatan intrakurikuler, kokurikuler, dan ekstrakurikuler secara inovatif. Konklusinya mengarah kepada implikasi positif dalam mengembangkan indikator Moderasi Beragama di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

A compressive technique to reconstruct education in all its facets is known as holistic education. A qualitative descriptive research technique combined with a literature study approach was the research methodology employed in this study. This approach entails gathering, examining, documenting, and evaluating information from a variety of reference sources that are pertinent to the study's goals. This approach is employed in this study to better comprehend the idea of holistic education in enhancing elementary school students' reading and numeracy skills. According to the study's findings, elementary school students' literacy and numeracy can be improved through the use of holistic education. However, many educational institutions have not fully adopted this approach, and other studies have noted a number of implementation challenges, such as a lack of dedication to collaboration among related sectors.

Abstract

The importance of national and religious values ​​and norms must be applied and implemented by generations so that when they grow up they have good ethics and morals and know their rights and obligations in the nation and state. This research uses qualitative research methods, namely research that emphasizes understanding a phenomenon. This research method is designed to collect, analyze and understand, the approach used is descriptive, namely explaining and aiming to describe various conditions and realities accurately and actually. Research results: The urgency of values ​​and norms of national and religious awareness in learning Pancasila education in class 6 of elementary school to form good personal character for students from class 7 to 12 of elementary school which can be manifested by in-depth religious education and following signs and norms.

Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan Indonesia masih jauh dalam mencapai standar pendidikan internasional. Peningkatan mutu dan kualitas pendidikan harus menjadi prioritas utama dalam era perkembangan teknologi yang pesat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi inovatif yang dilakukan oleh SD Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di era modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta. Subjek penelitian ini ialah Kepala Sekolah SD Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang diterapkan di SD Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan ialah metode IRB (Identifikasi, Refleksi, Benahi) sebagai langkah terstruktur untuk menemukan dan memperbaiki aspek yang membutuhkan perbaikan. Strategi ini mencakup perencanaan jangka pendek hingga jangka panjang dengan melibatkan semua pihak terkait, serta berfokus pada tiga aspek utama: peningkatan mutu pembelajaran, penyediaan layanan yang sesuai kebutuhan, dan menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya membangun konstruksi pemahaman deep learning guru sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Sistematic Literature Review (SLR) yaitu mengumpulkan dan menyusun bukti-bukti pendukung secara terstruktur yaitu 10 artikel ilmiah relevan yang dipublikasikan 3 tahun terakhir mengenai pendekatan deep learning khususnya berhubungan dengan pemahaman guru di tingkat sekolah dasar. Temuan penelitian dalam membangun konstruksi pemahaman deep learning guru sekolah dasar dipengaruhi oleh empat hal yaitu penguasaan materi, pengalaman mengajar, kemampuan teknologi dan seni. Keempat hal ini menjadi faktor keberhasilan guru dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran yang meaningful, mindful dan joyful. Penelitian ini berkontribusi penting untuk memperkuat pemahaman guru sekolah dasar dalam merencanakan dan mengembangkan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan deep learning pada berbagai mata pelajaran guna menciptakan kebermaknaan, kesadaran dan kegembiraan dalam membangun mutu pendidikan Indonesia.
