Abstract

Potensi Tradisi Mantun sebagai sebuah seni pertunjukan menjadi salah satu prioritas yang dapat dikembangkan menjadi industri kreatif. Tujuan tersebut representatif dengan potensi Indonesia yang memiliki keragaman budaya baik seni pertunjukan maupun sastra lokal yang apabila dikelola dengan baik bisa menghasilkan ekonomi kreatif untuk menjaga ketahanan ekonomi masyarakat pendukungnya. Fokus penelitian ini adalah optimalisasi tradisi mantun: pengembangan economic resilience melalui industri kreatif. Sub fokusnya fungsi dan makna tradisi mantun serta optimalisasinya melalui industry kreatif untuk meningkatkan ketahanan ekonomi masyakat pendukungnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode etnografi. Data yang diperoleh berdasarkan hasil observasi, rekaman, serta wawancara. Adapun hasil penelitiannya, 1) Makna yang terkandung dalam Tradisi Mantun berupa makna keselamatan, hubungan masyarakat dengan Tuhan, sesama manusia, dan alam semesta. Dan fungsi  Tradisi Mantun pada masyarakat pendukungnya yaitu fungsi dakwah, fungsi interaksi sosial, fungsi pendidikan dalam rangka sosialisasi nilai sosial, dan penangkal individualisme, 2) para juru pantun telah melakukan optimalisasi dalam sajian pertunjukannya dengan tetap berpegang pada norma adat yang berlaku dalam masyarakat. Inovasi pertunjukan yang telah dilakukan kemudian dikembangkan melalui digitalisasi sehingga menghasilkan produk industri kreatif film dokumenter sebagai media promosi pertunjukan.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the potential of the Buton manuscript as tourism development in Baubau City; and (2) describe a manuscript-based tourism destination development model in Baubau City. The study was qualitative descriptive research. The research data used a literature study. Various journals, articles, and relevant books are sources of information related to the intricacies of the Buton manuscript. The results show that (1) Buton’s manuscript has the potential as an object for cultural tourism development. In addition to Almujazi Mulku Zahari who collected ± 320 manuscripts, these manuscripts have been cataloged by Ikram et al (2021), other Buton manuscripts were also collected by other people such as La Mbalangi (78 years), Moersidi (73 years) La Ode Aegu (80 years), La Ode Ansari Idris (68 years old), etc. The contents of the Buton manuscript include legislation, Islamic teachings, philosophy of life, history, medicine, love stories, covenant documents, and literature. (2) The Buton manuscript tourism development model can be carried out by managing the Buton manuscript as well as possible such as manuscript conservation so that it becomes more accessible to the public in the form of installing nameplates for manuscript heirs, making manuscript maps, strengthening the capacity of manuscript heirs, manuscript galleries, making a place for storing manuscripts, making social media for manuscript owners, photo galleries for manuscript owners, and tourism networks.

Abstract

Palebohu is a form of oral poetry that is performed in a traditional wedding ceremony in Gorontalo. Palebohu also uses various styles of language that are actualized in their verses that describe the characteristics and norms upheld by the people of Gorontalo. Therefore, this study aims to describe the language style, function, and values contained in palebohu in traditional wedding ceremonies in Gorontalo Province. The data used are palebohu array quotes that describe palebohu's language style, functions, and values. The results of the study show that (1) palebohu employs: (a) alliteration, (b) assonance, (c) repetition, (d) euphemism, and (e) parallelism language styles; (2) palebohu functions: (a) as a medium for delivering advice which includes advice on navigating the household, advice on social life and the behavior desired by the community, and advice on establishing good relationships with parents, in-laws, and siblings ; (b) as a medium for conveying religious teachings; and (c) as a form of custom; (3) the values in palebohu oral poetry are: (a) moral, (b) social, (c) religious, (d) cultural, and (e) aesthetic.

Abstract

The landscape (nature and domestic space) in the first Sundanese novel (1914) Baruang ka nu Ngarora” Poison for the Youth”, which was published during the colonial period of the Dutch East Indies, can be interpreted as ambiguous, which has the potential to show a palimpsest. The reasons are (1) the landscape (especially nature) in the novel has an atmosphere of silence, (2) the atmosphere cannot be interpreted as peaceful, but how the problems surrounding the practice of colonialism are likely to be hidden, diverted, or even interpreted, and (3) the landscape has the potential as a layered text based on memory traces inherent in narratives about the changing natural landscapes and domestic space. Thus, this study aims to uncover the potential of landscapes as areas of hiding, diversifying, and suppressing the narratives of colonialism. The approach used for this purpose is postcolonial. From a postcolonial perspective, Loomba (2003: 92-93) states that literature is also an important means of taking, reversing, or opposing the dominant colonial means and ideologies. This study also uses the palimpsest concept to show the overlapping phenomenon of pre-colonial and colonial narratives in the natural landscape and domestic space, which indicates the hidden narrative of colonialism behind this background. The result of this research is the silence of the narrative of colonialism in the background of natural landscapes and domestic space which is constructed as hiding and transferring of colonialism narratives.

Abstract

The Silat Mandar tradition can shape the character of the people of Tidung Island in order to develop tourism on Tidung Island. Silat Mandar is able to give color to people's lives in the DKI Jakarta area, especially Tidung Island in Kepualauan Seribu. Starting from the mythology of Bugis Mandar as an accomplished sailor, making the Bugis Mandar people a society that is undaunted to sail the ocean, such as the Bugis proverb "Once the sails are developed, it never recedes backwards".  It is the existence of this philosophy that memfor the Bugis if they have stuck their anchor at satu point they will try their best to survive and advance the region for an advancement. Likewise with the Bugis Mandar people on Tidung Island, this community grew out of a strong character from the influence of the Bugis Mandar culture which helped create a new culture on The Kepulauan Seribu. The Tradition of Silat Mandar as a tradition instilled by the Bugis Mandar people in this island. The theory used in this study is the theory of oral tradition and comodification, through observation techniques and interviews on the people of Tidung Island. The result of this study is how the Silat Mandar tradition which is used as a tradition that is developed and its character is instilled for the younger generation of the people of Tidung Island.  This tradition  has been contested and used as a lure for local and foreign tourists who visit Tidung Island.  The goal is to improve the welfare of its people, as well as revenue generating for the Regional Government and the Kepulauan Seribu Government.

Abstract

Lasaeo Folklore Speech Code of the Pamona Tribe. This study aims to describe code switching and code mixing contained in the Lasaeo folklore. This type of qualitative research. Methods and Data Collection Techniques used There is a method of observing. The data analysis technique using the method is the extralingual equivalent method. The method used in the stage of presenting the results of data analysis in this study is an informal method. The results of this study are as follows. The results of the study are that the first symptom of code switching found in the Pamona Lasaeo folklore occurs in two formations, namely the Pamona language and the Indonesian language. The two code mixes found in the Lasaeo folklore are in the form of basic words, repeated words, phrases and clauses. The function of code switching and code mixing in the folklore of Pamona Lasaeo is to explain, command, ask questions, and confirm intentions. Mixing code in lasaeo folklore when interacting using Indonesian by deliberately mixing Pamona as an ethnic language so that there is intimacy between speakers and speech partners.

Abstract

Research on tourist destinations in Klungkung Regency, Bali, which is included in the collection of poetry, Klungkung: Tanah Tua Tanah Cinta is important to do to see how far Indonesian poets recognize this area. What are the views of the poets in photographing the changes in Klungkung city and famous places in this area? In this paper, five poems contain ideas about the transformation of tourist destinations in Klungkung. The method used is an analytic descriptive and the theory of public space will be applied. The results obtained from this research are that the poets utilize public space in Klungkung which is undergoing transformation, namely the deserted Klungkung land, Balai Kerthagosa as the noiseless court, Goa Lawa Beach as a source of livelihood, Meriam I Selisik as a marker of collective memory, and the Tukad Unda Bridge. as a spiritual bridge.

Abstract

Analisis makna pantun merupakan wujud apresiasi akan pemahaman sebuah karya sastra yang merupakan sebuah kreasi yang diciptakan melalui bahasa yang mengesankan melalui pikiran, perasaan dan pengalaman manusia yang diungkapkan secara spontan. Unsur yang terkandung dan bersifat membangun sebuah karya sastra adalah struktur, tekstur, dan konteks. Melalui apresiasi kita dapat menemukan makna yang terdapat dalam sebuah karya sastra. Makna asosiatif adalah pemakaian kata yang tidak sebenarnya dan merupakan makna yang dimiliki sebuah kata terkait dengan adanya hubungan kata tersebut dengan sesuatu yang berada di luar bahasa. Pesan moral adalah amanat yang terdapat dalam cerita baik secara tersirat maupun tersurat sehingga menjadi pelajaran bagi pembaca.Bonet merupakan suatu media komunikasi tradisional yang sarat makna dalam proses menyampaikan pesan-pesan moral dan sosial yang mulai ditinggalkan oleh generasi muda. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengungkapkan makna asosiatif dan pesan moral yang terkandung dalam pantun ketika dilantunkan dalam tarian Bonet dan sebagai salah satu strategi untuk mempertahankan tradisi tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan data yang digunakan adalah pantun dalam tarian bonet dengan sumber data dari data tertulis teks pantun bonet. Perolehan data dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan teks pantun bonet dan selanjutnya dianalisis dengan teknik transkripsi, klasifikasi data, analisis data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh terdapat dua jenis bonet yaitu bone naek dan bone mnutu. Bone naek dengan jenis pantun mot kau liu baok sedangkan bone mnutu dengan jenis pantun umaku han leko, he’e ait sel lele, pilu besa no, manu muti leok tua lalu, manu ana eun lele sin hen kaen, koa kiko na bain han, teme na buil au manu, hai neo mao lasi et au om, ihi uhu li. Berdasarkan jenis-jenis pantun tersebut terdapat pesan moral mengandung edukasi, nilai-nilai kesopanan, kepedulian terhadap lingkungan dan kesetaraan gender.

Abstract

Pulau Sabu atau dalam bahasa Sabu biasa disebut Rai Hawu, Rai Due  nga Donahu. Pulau Sabu, Pulau Lontar, dan Gula. Orang Sabu (Do Hawu) memandang Pohon lontar (Kepue Due) sebagai dunia bagi orang Sabu, yang berarti bahwa dalam seluruh aspek kehidupannya tidak lepas dari lontar. Keterkaitan, keterhubungan, dan ketergantungan kehidupan orang Sabu pada lontar merupakan suatu bentuk harmoni kehidupan antara masyarakat Sabu dan lingkungan alam Sabu Raijua. Selain itu, lontar juga menjadi jembatan penghubung komunikasi yang harmonis dengan sang Ilahi, atau yang disebut Deo Ama. Pohon lontar sebagai pohon kehidupan berkaitan dengan adicita (ideologi) di balik ungkapan-ungkapan tentang ke-due-an.Pohon lontar juga sangat istimewa karena memiliki gender (jenis kelamin), yaitu  pohon lontar jantan (kal’li mone) dan pohon lontar betina (kal’li ban’ni). Dari akar hingga daunnya, pohon lontar ini sangat bermanfaat bagi hidup dan kehidupan masyarakat Sabu-Raijua di Kabupaten Sabu Raijua. Oleh karena itu, penyadap nira lontar di Sabu Raijua memberikan penghiburan atau bernyanyi di atas pohon pada saat mereka mengambil niranya. Pendekatan yang akan dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Semua data yang diperoleh berdasarkan wawancara dan tatap muka. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian berdasarkan studi kasus. Studi kasus yang akan dilakukan dalam penelitian ini dengan mencoba mengamati dan menganalisis tradisi menyadap nira lontar: syair dan gula Sabu di masyarakat Sabu Raijua dengan pendekatan sastra lisan.

Abstract

Mapping of the Conjunctions Application in A Collection of Storiette “Along the Equator” By Retno Niko Usuli. Background in this research is: (1) How the mapping of the conjunctions application in a collection of storiette: Along the Equator by Retno Niko Suli. Data collecting method and technoque is extralingual matching method. The mothod used in the stage of prsenting the result of data analysis in this research is the informal method. The result of this study are as follows: based on th type of coordinating conjunctions are divided into 5 types, namely coordinates, subordinates, correlation, inter-sentence, and intra sentences. Subordinate conjunctionns were the most commonly found counjunctions, with 316 findings and coordinate conjunctions with 118 findings. Subordinate conjunctions are multilevel sentences that are widely used in short story writing as well as coordinating conjunctions which are equivalent compound sentences. The fewest occurrences of conjunctions found were correlation and intra-sentence conjunctions. In writing this storiette, the writer rarely uses correlation and inter-sentence conjunctions. In this storiette there are no conjunctions between paragraphs. This research only discusses the mapping of 5 types of conjunctions. Therefore, for other researchers who want to examine mistakes in the use of conjunctions, it will be more interesting. For other researchers, this research can be used as a reference for further research materials and can further deepen or expand the study of discourse.
