Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the personal branding of celebgrams through social media on the Instagram account @dewi_faj. This research aim to describe and analyze the personal branding carried out by Dewi Fajar Lestari via the Instagram account @dewi_faj. In this research, the author used eight main concepts in the formation of personal branding according to Peter Montoya dan Tim Vandehey, including specialization, leadership, personality, difference, visibility, constancy, visibility and good name. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach. Data collection methods used in-depth interviews and documentation. The result of this research was Dewi has built personal branding by implementing the 8 concepts above. Dewi has focused on the concept of specialization, so that it makes this research conclude that she success in building the personal branding as a beautiful and fashionable traveller, different with other nature travellers.

Abstract

Humas BNNK Surakarta mulai memanfaatkanInstagram untuk menyampaikan informasi dan edukasiterkait dengan berbagai upaya sosialisasi pencegahanpemberantasan peredaran gelap narkotika (P4GN). Penelitian ini bertujuan peran humas badan narkotikanasional kota surakarta dalam mencegahpenyalahgunaan narkotika melalui unggahan informasidan edukasi di media sosial instagram. Penelitian inimerupakan penelitian deskriptif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknikanalisis data kualitatif model Interaktif. Abstract

QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) is one of the technological developments in the field of non-cash payment systems whose aim to make transactions easier. The low level of knowledge of the people of Solo City about QRIS has resulted in the lack of interest of the people of Solo City in using QRIS. GenBI Solo is a community of Bank Indonesia scholarship recipients whose aim to communicate Bank Indonesia policies. Researchers used Anwar Arifin's communication strategy with a qualitative approach. Data obtained through interviews, observation and literature study. The aim of this research was to find out the communication strategy used by GenBI Solo in socializing the QRIS program as a literacy tool for the Solo city community in the use of non-cash payments. The results of this research were: (1) getting to know the audience for QRIS socialization, namely UMKM and buyers. (2) formulate the objective, namely to introduce and explain the advantages of QRIS and receive complaints from the people of Solo City regarding QRIS, (3) compose a message that is easy to understand, packaged attractively and follows operational standards using the resolving and persuading method. (4) media selection as an information medium.

Abstract

Strategy is an important component to achieve goals according to the vision and mission of a company. The effort cannot be separated from the important role of public relations (PR). Grand Sondokoro Agrotourism is one of the historical tourist attractions in Karangayar Regency, Central Jave, operating since 2007 which utilizes and develops the assets of the Tasikmadu sugar factory which are no longer in use. The existence of business competition in the tourism sector makes business people think hard to create the best strategy. The aim of the research was to explain the strategy carried out by Grand Sondokoro Public Relations in building brand awareness by utilizing Instagram using three ways strategy analysis, which consists of pull, push and pass strategy. Data collection techniques used interviews, documentation, observation. Of the 3 strategies that had been implemented by Grand Sondokoro Public Relations, there were two problems. The first problem was at the brand recognition level, namely that followers did not fully understand the uploads presented and need to provide information such as clear captions or other information that described the uploads. The second problem was brand recall, namely the lack of communication or conversations with followers on social media. sustainably.

Abstract

Da'wah is the activity of spreading religious teachings or messages with the aim of providing understanding and inviting people to do good deeds. In this digital era, the use of visual media is the most effective choice in conveying da'wah. YouTube, as a platform that is currently popular, has become a means for spreading religious messages. Optimal use of the convenience and popularity of YouTube can be done through creating and broadcasting Islamic-based educational content, including films with religious themes. The short film entitled “Hijab dari Masa Depan” is a film that contains many preaching meanings. The aim of this research was to understand the meaning of da'wah in the short film entitled “Hijab dari Masa Depan” on the Muslim Film Maker YouTube channel. This research used qualitative research methods which was structured descriptively. The research results show that the meaning of the denotation in this research was to describe a woman who wanted to wear the hijab but was not ready. The connotations in this short film depict the personal journey of a character who consider or felt interested in wearing the hijab. The meaning of the film Hijab dari Masa Depan was the influence of the environment in making decisions. This could be due to positive environmental encouragement.

Abstract

In the rapid development of the digital era, technology is an important part of teenagers' lives. One of the results of the development of the digital era is social media, Tiktok. Teenagers' tendency to Tiktok can have various impacts felt by teenagers. This study aimed to determine the impact of using Tiktok for teenagers and how Tiktok could change the social behavior of teenagers in Dukuh Beji, Sidomulyo Village, Ampel District, Boyolali Regency, using the theory of social change, and uses and effect. The type of research was descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques: observation, interviews, documentation study. The results of the study that (1) Teenagers got addiction and tendency to the Tiktok application. Teenagers used Tiktok to find information, but mostly used it to find entertainment. (2) Tiktok had a significant impact on teenagers. There were negative and positive impacts felt by teenagers. (3) Teenagers experience changed in social behavior due to the use of Tiktok such as lazy behavior, lifestyle changes, decreased ethics and manners when speaking, and lack of social participation. The implication of this research is to provide an explanation of the transformation of adolescent social behavior by using social media, especially Tiktok.

Abstract

Therapeutic communication is a communication effort aimed at healing the patient. However, for mentally retarded children, therapeutic communication functions to foster independence. Mentally retarded children are children with special needs who have limitations in their intelligence and social functions. This research aims to find out how interpersonal and therapeutic communication patterns occur in the process of forming the independence of mentally retarded children. The research method used is descriptive research. Where data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses triangulation analysis method. From the research that has been conducted, it is known that Panti PSDI Raharjo has implemented therapeutic communication through interpersonal communication to foster the independence of mentally retarded children. Regarding interpersonal communication patterns, supervisors use a constructivist approach. This approach helps children to support the exploration of children's abilities and development. Meanwhile, in therapeutic communication, supervisors use two types of communication, namely verbal and non-verbal. This makes communication more effective and maximal in fostering independence. From the explanation of the research results above, it can be concluded that the pattern of interpersonal communication that occurs at the PSDI Raharjo Home goes well, thus encouraging the success of therapeutic communication carried out by the supervisors, although in its implementation there are still several obstacles, but the supervisors are able to overcome these obstacles well, so that the process develop children's independence smoothly.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze audience reception of Nadhifa Allya Tsana's storytelling content on the Rintik Sedu podcast via social media on the Instagram account @rintiksedu. This research aims to be a means of information and also a reference in adding to developments in the field of communication science studies. In this research the author uses qualitative research with a descriptive analysis approach. The data collection method uses interviews. The results of this research conclude that the audience's reception of Rintik Sedu's storytelling content varies and is very dependent on the audience's social context. Reception theory opens a new perspective to view audiences and the dynamics of their media decoding process.

Abstract

Public Relations (PR) has an important role in institutional management because institutional management will not run well without its practitioners. A PR practitioner must have good technological understanding skills because he is required to build good relations with social media managed by the institution. This research was conducted at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS), using qualitative methodology, observation and interview techniques, and documentation. The data analysis technique was by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that UMS PR had carried out its role well as a liaison between community groups and institutions. The role as a corporate image is the most dominant role. This can be observed from PR uploads on the Instagram page @umsofficialid which highlights the collaboration between UMS and other parties. Meanwhile, the role as back up management is a less dominant role. A positive image can be produced and in accordance with community expectations

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengaji etika komunikasi yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan media sosial Instagram oleh ibu PKK di Desa Pleret Kabupaten Bantul DIY. Metode penelitian kualitatif ini digunakan untuk memahami perspektif pengalaman dan praktik komunikasi terkait media sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ibu-ibu PKK memerhatikan berbagai aspek etika dalam menggunakan Instagram seperti privasi, keaslian konten, dan dampak sosial. Implikasi dari temuan ini dapat memberikan wawasan tentang cara mendorong perilaku komunikasi yang etis di media sosial, khususnya dalam konteks komunitas lokal seperti PKK. Selain itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan program pelatihan atau workshop etika komunikasi di media sosial, khususnya bagi ibu-ibu PKK di Desa Pleret Kabupaten Bantul. Program ini dapat membantu meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang praktik yang bertanggung jawab dan etis dalam komunikasi secara daring dan meningkatkan kesadaran akan konsekuensi dari perilaku yang kurang etis. Selain itu, kerja sama antar pemerintah kota, organisasi kemasyarakatan, dan lembaga pendidikan dapat mendukung peningkatan literasi digital dan kesadaran etis dalam penggunaan media sosial
