Abstract

This research examines the influence of Store Atmosphere, Service Quality, and Word of Mouth on Purchasing Decisions at Surabaya Store Exteriors. Decision making is a process that involves choosing one of the many available options, and to make this decision several supporting factors are needed. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The problem that is the basis of the research is that there is a gap with previous research related to purchasing decisions. This research gap emerged because of differences of opinion in several previous studies related to purchasing decisions. This research aims to determine the influence of store atmosphere, service quality, and word of mouth on purchasing decisions at the Surabaya Exterior Store. Determination of the sample size was carried out using a non-probability sampling method, with a purposive sampling procedure. The sample taken was eighty respondents with the criteria for respondents being Surabaya residents who were at least seventeen years old and had made direct purchases at the Surabaya Exterior Store. Data was obtained using a questionnaire and processed using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the hypothesis test that has been carried out, a result can be obtained that the store atmosphere has no significant effect on purchasing decisions at the Exterior Store Surabaya, service quality has a significant effect on purchasing decisions at the Exterior Store Surabaya, word of mouth has a significant effect on purchasing decisions at the Exterior Store Surabaya.

Abstract

In this services trade cooperation, each country will commit to open cooperation in the twelve service sectors with different levels of openness in each country and stated in the Schedule of Specific Commitment. The level of openness is divided into three levels, namely: fully opened without any restrictions, none which means it is opened with restrictions, and unbound which means it has not been opened. This will have an impact on the choice of entry mode that business actors will make, but until now in Indonesia it has not been utilized, especially with the results of bilateral, regional and multilateral trade cooperation negotiations. For this reason, understanding the entry mode will determine the choice of type of entry mode that will be carried out by business actors, the support or facilities that will be provided by the Government, and what activities the Association can carry out so that the restaurant internationalization process can run well. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis by understanding how to read the ASEAN Framework Agreement on Services (AFAS) cooperation in the restaurant service industry sector. For this reason, the author explains how to understand the existing regulations AFAS countries in ASEAN, as well as investment options that comply with destination country regulations.

Abstract

This study discusses the Influence of Ease, Trust, Comfort and Interface Design. The purpose of this study is to determine how much interest customers have in using the BluBCA application. This study was conducted at PT BCA Tbk Dewi Sartika Branch Office, East Jakarta 13630. This study uses a descriptive research design through a quantitative approach with data collection using a purposive sampling technique with Krejcie table guidelines. The population taken in this study were BCA priority customers of KCP Dewi Sartika who had not used Blu BCA. The number of BCA Priority Dewi Sartika customers is 192 customers, 139 of whom have not used the BluBCA application (source: BCA internal data), the sample used was 103 customers with Krejcie table guidelines and the data processing technique uses the JASP application, an abbreviation of Jeffreys's Amazing Statistics Program, a statistical analysis software by the Department of Psychological Methods, University of Amsterdam, Netherlands. This open-source and multi-platform program is the choice for students and researchers. JASP is an easy-to-use software option with complete features. From the results of the research of multiple linear regression equations as follows, Y = 1.793 + 0.186 X1 + 0.289 X2 - 0.047 X3 +0.343 X4+e from the calculation, it can be seen that, the variables of Ease, Trust, Comfort and Interface design have an effect on customer interest in using the BluBCA application, but there is a difference in this study where the effect of comfort on the interest produced in this study is not significant.

Abstract

Training is a systematic process to improve employee knowledge, skills, and attitudes so that they can work more effectively and efficiently, and support the achievement of organizational goals. Meanwhile, compensation is a form of imbalance given by a company or organization to employees as a reward for contributions or work that has been done. Training and funding in various studies are often used to measure employee performance. This research method uses an approach based on a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) 21 articles taken from several national and international journals. The results of the study found that training and compensation provided, both financial and non-financial, which are carried out consistently will have good employee productivity, work efficiency. The training and incentive variables depend on the sector, training method and types of incentives and the context in the organization. Several studies also emphasize that the importance of strategic planning in training design and fair system improvements are useful for encouraging and improving employee performance continuously or sustainably. Furthermore, this study also shows that training that is carried out continuously can increase employee adaptation capacity to the dynamics of the work environment. In addition, fulfillment that is applied fairly and in accordance with employee needs and contributions is an important factor in maintaining loyalty and work motivation. Mediating variables such as job satisfaction, motivation, and organizational commitment also play an important role in strengthening the relationship between training and compensation on performance. This study recommends that organizations need to develop a good training and recovery system that is oriented towards measurable work results, taking into account the characteristics of each sector and organizational culture.
