Abstract

This article discusses efforts to build moderate insight in a multicultural society by utilizing Islamic values as a foundation. This case study aims to discuss how Islamic values, such as tolerance, diversity, and interfaith dialogue, can be a source of inspiration to promote deeper understanding and harmony amidst diversity. The method used is library research. The research results show that in facing the challenges of the complexity of society consisting of various ethnicities, religions and cultures, understanding that diversity is an absolute necessity is the first step in paving the way towards moderate insight. Islamic values, such as justice, view all humans as equal creatures before God, regardless of ethnic or religious background. By adopting this perspective, society can build a strong foundation to overcome differences and prevent conflicts that have the potential to be mutually detrimental. Thus, this article will explore how important it is to build a moderate outlook in a multicultural society by embracing Islamic values. From a deep understanding of tolerance, justice and inclusiveness, it is hoped that society can form a strong foundation to achieve harmonious balance amidst increasingly complex diversity.

Abstract

This article discusses the use of the Tik-Tok social media platform as a da'wah tool by a famous ustadzah, ustadzah Oki Setiana Dewi, through the official account @okisetianadewi_official. This case study aims to reveal how a religious figure uses the Tik-Tok platform in an effort to spread religious messages to a wide audience, especially the younger generation. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method with data sources in the form of documents, video posts from social media accounts with analytical methods connecting with theories related to preaching, preaching messages, and also new media. The research results show that Ustadzah Oki Setiana Dewi has succeeded in utilizing TikTok as an effective medium for preaching, by creating content that is relevant, informative and inspiring. The TikTok account @okisetianadewi_official has become a popular channel for understanding the teachings of the Islamic religion and supporting moral values in a modern context. With this appearance, Ustadzah Oki Setiana Dewi conveys a da'wah message that remains based on the Al-Qur'an and Hadith with the da'wah content revolving around Islamic teachings in it, related to aqidah, sharia, and morals/muamalah with the aim of being easily accepted by the generation of Tik-Tok users. as a da'wah partner.

Abstract

Teori kritis memungkinkan kita membaca produksi budaya dan komunikasi dalam perspekstif yang luas dan beragam. Ia bertujuan untuk melakukan ekplorasi reflekstif terhadap pengalaman yang kita alami dan cara kita mendefinisikan diri sendiri, budaya kita, dan dunia. Saat ini teori kritis menjadi salah satu alat epistemologi yang dibutuhkan dalam studi humaniora. Hal ini didorong oleh kesadaran bahwa makna bukanlah sesuatu yang alamiah dan langsung. Bahasa adalah media transparan yang dapat menyampaikan ide-ide tanpa distorsi, sebaliknya ia adalah seperangkat kesepakatan yang berpengaruh dan menentukan jenis-jenis ide dan pengalaman manusia. Dengan berusaha memahami proses dimana teks, objek, dan manusia diasosiasikan dengan makna-makna tertentu, teori kritis mempertanyakan legitimasi anggapan umum tentang pengalaman, pengetahuan, dan kebenaran.

Abstract

The science of the interpretation of the Qur'an continues to develop from time to time. These movements occur in various matters concerning the interpretation of the Qur'an such as methods, approaches, and also styles of interpretation. One form of interpretation that has developed is isyari interpretation. Isyari interpretation also causes problems between scholars with various views. This study aims to discuss and explore more about the history of the emergence of isyari interpretation and its development from time to time accompanied by the views of scholars at that time. The results of the analysis of this article are expected to have a positive influence, both in theory and practice. Theoretically, this research aims to provide an initial understanding and insight into the history of the emergence of isyari tafsir and its development from time to time accompanied by the views of the scholars at that time. While practically, this research is expected to be used as a basis in addressing the differences of opinion regarding the interpretation interpreted in isyari. The method used in this research is qualitative, using literature review. The main data sources used are books related to the discussion and the supporting sources are journals related to the discussion to help analyze the problem. The data processing technique used is by reading and understanding various literature related to the discussion, then analyzing the contents to get conclusions from several data sources used.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk mengkaji dampak tradisi ziarah makam Sunan Gunung Jati terhadap Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di sekitarnya. Data utama diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan pedagang dan juru kunci makam, serta observasi langsung, sedangkan data tambahan berasal dari penelitian terdahulu dan literatur terkait lainnya. Sunan Gunung Jati, yang berperan penting dalam penyebaran Islam di Jawa Barat, memiliki makna spiritual, sejarah, dan budaya yang kuat bagi masyarakat Cirebon. Ziarah ke makamnya bukan hanya merupakan praktik keagamaan, tetapi juga cara untuk menghormati kontribusinya dalam pembangunan peradaban Islam. Tradisi ini juga berdampak positif terhadap ekonomi lokal, membantu meningkatkan pendapatan UMKM dan memperkuat identitas budaya setempat. Namun, perlu ada perlindungan terhadap lingkungan dan nilai-nilai budaya, serta kerjasama antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan pelaku UMKM untuk memastikan manfaat jangka panjang dari tradisi ziarah makam Sunan Gunung Jati.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pesan moral tentang balasan amal perbuatan yang terkandung dalam Surah Luqman ayat 16, dilihat dari perspektif tafsir Al-Jailani. Surah Luqman merupakan bagian dari Al-Quran yang mengandung petunjuk-petunjuk moral dan hikmah-hikmah yang berharga. Ayat 16 dari surah ini secara khusus menyoroti prinsip balasan amal yang adil dari Allah SWT atas tindakan manusia. Tafsir Al-Jailani memberikan penekanan pada makna mendalam ayat ini, menyoroti bahwa setiap perbuatan manusia akan memiliki akibatnya masing-masing. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi konsep balasan amal dalam Islam, dengan fokus pada pengertian bahwa kebaikan akan dibalas dengan kebaikan, sedangkan kejahatan akan mendapat ganjaran yang setimpal. Perspektif Al-Jailani memberikan pemahaman yang dalam tentang hubungan antara amal perbuatan manusia dengan balasan yang akan diterima di dunia dan akhirat. Analisis dalam artikel ini mengungkapkan bahwa pesan moral yang terkandung dalam ayat ini menekankan pentingnya kesadaran akan akibat dari setiap tindakan yang dilakukan manusia, baik dalam hubungannya dengan sesama maupun dengan Sang Pencipta. Dengan memahami prinsip ini, manusia diharapkan dapat mengembangkan sikap bertanggung jawab dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan lebih memperhatikan konsekuensi dari setiap tindakan yang mereka lakukan.

Abstract

Buya Hamka is a Multi-Talented figure of the archipelago who left many written works, in addition to being a scholar, writer, preacher, and politician. Throughout his life he always fought for an ideology based on tawhid teachings. The name HAMKA is an abbreviation of his name, namely H. Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah, author of the book of tafsir Al-Azhar which is his phenomenal work. The purpose of this study is to find out how Hamka's biography started from childhood to successfully create his phenomenal works, especially the book of tafsir Al-Azhar. The method used in this study is the library research method by collecting various information and data from various relevant sources. So, Buya Hamka is a Nusantara scholar who is known for his works with one of his phenomenal works, namely the book of tafsir Al-Azhar. Buya Hamka has also served as chairman of MUI and is known as a leader of Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

This paper seeks to explore the tabi’ tabi’in interpretation methodology, namely by reading it from a constructivism perspective with an analysis of intertextuality data, the writer can identify the existence of Ibn Abi Hatim interpretation which only uses the interpretation of bi al-ma’tsur as a source of interpretation, which is based on an explanation of the Prophet’s hadith, the opinions of friends, tabi’in, and the stories of israiliyyat. While the effort in explaining al-Qur’an, the method carried by Ibn Abi Hatim is the method of ijmali, which is interpreting verses of the Qur'an in a concise, concise, and not lengthy language. also used the muqaran method by quoting and comparing the opinions of friends and the tabi’in. For his interpretation style, the interpretation of Ibn Abi Hatim did not reach a certain scientific discipline style, only limited to the interpretation of geographical and traditionalist locations, namely interpreting the al-Qur’an by tending to use narrations from the hadiths of the Prophet, friends, and tabi’in.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the tahlili and ijmali interpretation methods of the Qur'anic verse Surah al-Ankabut verse 8. The tahlili interpretation method emphasizes in-depth analysis of each word and sentence, while the ijmali interpretation method tends to provide a more general interpretation. The analysis of this interpretation approach is done by detailing the meaning and context of QS. al-Ankabut[29]: 8 using the tahlili interpretation method, then comparing it with the ijmali interpretation method to get a broader perspective. The results show that the tahlili interpretation method can reveal the deeper nuances of the meaning of the verse, while the ijmali interpretation method provides a broader and more general picture. This finding contributes to the development of understanding of interpretive methods, as well as providing new insights related to the interpretation of QS. al-Ankabut[29]: 8 from the perspective of tahlili and ijmali interpretations. This study is expected to provide benefits in the context of developing the science of interpretation of the Qur'an and supporting a better understanding of the verses of the Qur'an holistically.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bacaan-bacaan dalam proses pelaksanaan tradisi, manfaat pelaksanaan tradisi serta untuk mengetahui pemahaman pelaku tradisi kupat qunutan terhadap bacaan yang terdapat didalamnya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan ilmu tafsir, fenomenologi dan sosiologis. Sumber data primer dari masyarakat yang terlibat langsung dalam tradisi, sedangkan sumber data sekunder yaitu berupa buku, jurnal dan artikel. Metode pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada hakikatnya bacaan dalam pelaksanaan tradisi kupat qunutan merupakan bacaan yang barsumber dari al-Qur’an yaitu QS al-Fatihah/1: 1-7, QS al-Baqarah/2: 1-5, QS al-Baqarah/2: 255, QS al-Ikhlas}/112: 1-4, QS al-Falaq/113: 1-5, QS al-Nas/114: 1-6 dan kalimat-kalimat zikir yaitu tahlil (la ilaha illa Allah), tahmid (al-H{amdulillah), takbir (Allahu akbar) dan istighfar (astaghfirullah al-Adzim). Tradisi kupat qunutan dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk rasa syukur atas terlaksanakannya ibadah puasa selama 15 hari pada bulan Ramadan dan menjadi tempat sedekah serta saling memaafkan untuk memperkuat tali persaudaraan sehingga mendapat keberkahan dalam menjalankan ibadah puasa pada 15 hari berikutnya. Pelaku tradisi kupat qunutan memahami bacaan surah al fatihah sebagai surah yang dapat mempercepat terkabulnya do’a, serta surah al-Baqarah ayat 1-5 dipahami sebagai surah yang akan mendatangkan keberkahan, surah al-Baqarah ayat 255 dipahami sebagai ayat yang agung, surah al-Ikhlas dipahami sebagai simbol ketauhidan, surah al-Falaq dan al-Na>s dipahami sebagai tabir perlindungan, kalimat istighfar sebagai permohonan ampun, kalimat tahlil dipahami untuk memperbarui keimanan serta kalimat tasbih, tahmid dan takbir dipahami sebagai kalimat yang mampu menghadirkan ketenangan hati sehingga bacaan tersebut menjadi pilihan dalam proses tradisi tersebut.
