Abstract

The elderly are an age where degenerative diseases often occur, one of the diseases suffered by the elderly is knee osteoarthritis. Knee osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative and progressive disease that attacks the knee joints resulting in functional limitations in the elderly. Knee osteoarthritis is caused by an unhealthy lifestyle, lack of exercise, and body weight which are risk factors for knee osteoarthritis. At the posyandu Teratai Keprabon, many elderly people complained of knee pain. This activity is an outreach regarding osteoarthritis and education regarding independent exercise to strengthen and reduce pain in the knee. This activity takes the form of providing leaflets, pre-test, post-test to measure the level of knowledge of the elderly regarding osteoarthritis. Based on the results of filling out the questionnaire, it was seen that the elderly had an increased understanding of osteoarthritis, such as signs and symptoms as well as exercises to reduce pain and strengthen muscles in the knee.

Abstract

Koperasi Wanita Kenanga Madiun as a local economic entity, requires improved skills in preparing Microsoft Excel-based financial reports. These skills are important to ensure transparency, accuracy, and efficiency in cooperative financial management. Due to limitations, cooperative management still uses manual methods to record cooperative transactions. Besides, cooperative administrators also do not really understand the knowledge of financial reports using Microsoft Excel. Therefore, this service aims to improve Microsoft Excel-based Cooperative Financial Reports skills. This research uses a combination approach between lectures, questions and answers, and training methods followed by the management of the cooperative. After applying this method, there was a significant improvement in the skills of preparing financial statements using Microsoft Excel. Participants were able to effectively implement the concepts taught, increase efficiency in preparing financial statements, and reduce potential errors.

Abstract

The need for supervision and demands from the community regarding food safety guarantees, especially snacks for school children, are increasing. Supervision of food processing places is necessary to meet these needs and demands. Community service is carried out in the context of environmental health inspections at school food management sites. Method : The implementation through 3 stages: preparation, implementation and evaluation. Result : Not all TPPs in school canteens meet health requirements, there are still expired snacks, trash bins are not separated, the condition of the canteen is dirty and smells bad and the food served is not covered. Next, the team provided education to the canteen owner, confiscated expired food with the community health center, and reported it to the school. It is hoped that canteen owners and schools will make school canteens healthy.

Abstract

North Central Timor is one of the banana-producing areas that produces banana peel waste. Banana peels can be used as an eco-enzyme, where the manufacturing process needs to be socialized to SMKN students who will take part in internships as additional knowledge. This service aims to increase students' knowledge regarding the manufacture of eco-enzymes. This service was carried out at SMKN Bikomi Selatan for two days face to face with an interval of one week. The first day of service was filled with making eco-enzymes and a week later it was filled with observing the eco-enzymes that had been made and filling out questionnaires by service participants. The eco-enzyme product produced after a week of storage is milky white, has a fermented smell and there is foam when opened. Seventy-three point thirty-three percent of respondents agreed that the media and methods of service were appropriate.

Abstract

The problem of abundant leaf litter and the potential for livestock whose weight is not yet optimal is the basis for implementing this activity. This activity aims to improve community skills in utilizing existing resources in the surrounding location. This activity was carried out using a participatory method. There are several stages carried out in this method. The initial stage involves gathering aspirations for problems to deepen the existing substance at the location. Then the community is equipped with new knowledge and direct practice in processing existing resources around their village location. The output achieved by this activity was high enthusiasm from the community to be involved in this activity. The continuation of the process will continue to be accompanied and evaluated periodically. In the end, community independence can be created in utilizing the resources available around their village.

Abstract

Students with learning boredom feel that the knowledge and skills obtained through learning are not progressing. KSaturation can also occur because students' learning processes have reached the limits of their physical abilities due to boredom and fatigue. One of the efforts through individual counseling with self-management techniques is expected to be able to reduce learning boredom for class VII students in Gresik. The technique for implementing this activity uses individual counseling with self-management techniques for related parties. Observations were carried out by digging up information and observing students' conditions in class by distributing questionnaires for the pre-test. From the results of interviews and observations with guidance and counseling teachers and homeroom teachers, there were several categories of students selected. Each class is represented by 6 students who experience learning boredom. There are 36 people from 3 classes. The decrease in learning boredom of selected class VII students can be observed through student learning outcomes each semester.

Abstract

This activity aims to train children in Tebing Penyamun Village to get used to saving money and get used to not being wasteful. service method with demonstration, lecture, and discussion methods. This activity was carried out for 15 children in Tebing Penyamun village, Kepahiang Regency, researchers found a lack of understanding of children in Tebing Penyamun village of the importance of getting used to saving money from an early age. After direct observation in the field, children who were previously uninterested and did not understand the importance of saving from an early age understood and began to want to save. The results showed that children's understanding of early saving increased when compared to before the socialization. Thus, the socialization of early saving can be considered successful to familiarize children to save money.

Abstract

The document archiving system in the government hierarchy of a village is crucial in today's modern era. Archiving aims to organise documents in the village organisation system as a form of village identity. This service aims to increase community understanding of the importance of archive management in the village administration system. This service was carried out in Yanggandur Village, Sota District, Merauke Regency. The method used in this service is delivering material on the Village Administration Filing System delivered through lecture and presentation methods. The result of the socialisation in this service is a real positive impact on efficiency, transparency, and village community services in the archiving process in the village administration system. Document management is also better organised through this socialisation which then results in three things. Firstly, there is an increase in efficiency in document management. Second, Better Information Accessibility, where this archiving system has brought significant changes in terms of information accessibility. Third, there is a reduced risk of data loss.

Abstract

Organizing village government administration digitally is a necessity. This is due to the increasingly widespread need for the availability of accurate and fast village development information. The aim to be achieved in this service activity is to carry out training for Urumb Village Officials in the context of utilizing digital archives for structuring village government administration. The method used is the transfer of knowledge through training and assistance in using Google Drive as a medium for archive management and information presentation for village government officials. The results of this activity are increasing knowledge and skills, as evidenced by changes in behavior on a scale of 76-100, namely the high category. This is also proven by the increase in participants' conceptual understanding and practice in managing documents digitally in Urumb Village, an average increase of 25%. It is hoped that the results of this activity can provide solutions to archival problems in Urumb Village, Merauke Regency to move towards an orderly administrative village.

Abstract

The model of community service activities (PKM) is assistance in the form of technical guidance with direct practice in the Economics and Business Application Laboratory through the MS. Word and MS. Excel. PKM participants were 25 people, namely village officials including representatives of the Village Government, Village Representative Council (BPD), Community Empowerment Agency (LPM), PKK and Posyandu administrators and Youth Organization, Service activities in collaboration with the Economics and Business Application Laboratory. The results of the activity evaluation show that the average skills of 74.5 percent of participants are skilled and 20.5 percent are quite skilled for 8 statement items about skills using MS. Word, MS Excell, MS Power Point, creating Gmail and saving files on G-Drive.
