Abstract

This community service activity was carried out for students of SMA IT Al-Utsaimin Bangkinang, Riau Province, where the purpose of this community service is to provide provisions in improving understanding related to the concept of Sharia-Based Financial Management Strategy for High School Students: Exploring the Potential and Benefits of SMA IT Al-Utsaimin Bangkinang. The methods used in this community service activity are through counseling and presentation, discussion and practice (pretset and post test) for participants. The counseling method is used to explain the importance of knowing the concept of Sharia economics for students in order to become prosperous generations using sharia principles. The presentation method is used to show a work process, namely the stages of how we become individuals who have a prosperous economy. While the question and answer method is used to give participants the opportunity to consult in understanding further the material that has been given. The practice method is used to see how far the participants understand the service before and after the material is delivered. The availability of adequate experts in delivering this material, the enthusiasm of the participants, and the support of the principal for the implementation of the activity are supporters of the implementation of this PPM activity. The obstacles faced are that the students do not yet have initial knowledge about the material of the concept of Islamic economics and limited time in delivering the material. The results of this service indicate that: The community service program can be organized well and run smoothly according to the activity plan that has been prepared, the results of this service concluded that: First, Most students of SMA IT Al-Utsaimin do not understand the concept of Islamic economics well, Second, The achievement of the objectives of the community service program for students of SMA IT Al-Utsaimin Bangkinang, the entire program that has been carried out with collaboration between the school and the community service have been carried out all and in accordance with the event rounddown and the time that has been determined previously.

Abstract

The afternoon Qur'an recitation program is one of the efforts implemented in Desa Baru to improve children's ability to read the Qur'an. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the program in enhancing the quality of children's Qur'an recitation, covering aspects such as tajwid (rules of Qur'anic pronunciation), fluency in reading, and memorization of short verses. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews with instructors, child participants, and parents, as well as documentation of the children's reading progress. The research subjects include 20 child participants of the afternoon Qur'an recitation program, 3 instructors, and 10 parents. The results indicate that the afternoon Qur'an recitation program plays a significant role in improving children's reading abilities. The success of the program is influenced by several factors, such as varied teaching methods, the close relationship between instructors and participants, and active support from parents. However, challenges remain, including limited study time and a lack of interest in learning among some children. This study concludes that the afternoon Qur'an recitation program is effective in improving the quality of Qur'an recitation among children in Desa Baru, and it is hoped that this program can serve as a learning model to be applied in other villages with modifications according to local conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of sharia economic contracts at Dhuafa Mart in supporting the development of sharia economy and empowerment of the dhuafa community. The study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results of the study indicate that Dhuafa Mart implements several sharia contracts, such as murabahah (buying and selling with a profit margin), ijarah (renting), and qardhul hasan (goodwill loans). The implementation of these contracts has been proven to provide economic and social benefits, including transparency in transactions, easy access for the dhuafa community, and real contributions to sharia-based economic empowerment. These findings indicate that a business model such as Dhuafa Mart can be a strategic instrument to expand sharia financial inclusion and strengthen the socio-economic impact of Islam in society

Abstract

Community service in Baru Village, Pulau Rakyat District, Asahan Regency aims to improve the quality of life of the community through education and empowerment programs. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a participatory approach, involving 14 students for 21 days. Data were collected through participant observation, interviews, FGDs, and documentation. The results showed a significant increase in awareness of education and religion, public health, environmental cleanliness, and potential for economic empowerment. Education programs in schools and MDA increased active student participation, while religious activities strengthened Islamic values ​​in the community. Health and environmental cleanliness activities encouraged a healthy lifestyle and environmental awareness. Collaboration between the team, village government, and community was the key to the success of the program. Challenges such as time constraints and unpredictable weather were overcome through effective adaptation and management. Recommendations include follow-up programs, local cadre training, long-term collaboration, and periodic evaluation to ensure the sustainability of positive impacts in Baru Village.

Abstract

Modernization is the latest update. Like interactive whiteboards, initially the world of education used blackboards during the learning process, but with the increasingly rapid advances in technology nowadays, blackboards have also turned into interactive whiteboards. The world of education does not want to be left behind by existing technological advances, the world of education will go hand in hand with the progress of technological development and growth at this time. SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Beringin is one of the schools that provides technological facilities in the form of interactive whiteboards and projectors. The school will keep up with current developments. The approach used from the results of the process in using this interactive whiteboard is the observation method with a descriptive pattern approach by conducting observations and interviews with the school and students. So the method used in this approach is very appropriate. The results of the observations are that the SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Beringin school has two interactive screen units and has 4 projectors which can be used as learning media in the classroom. Using an interactive whiteboard can help increase students' motivation and interest in the learning process.

Abstract

The Taman Edukasi (Educational Garden) program implemented in Desa Baru, Pulau Rakyat District, Asahan Regency aimed to increase children's interest in religious learning and Qur'an reading ability. This study employed a qualitative approach with action research design, involving 60 elementary school-aged children. The program consisted of afternoon Qur'an teaching sessions, religious socialization in schools, and a children's Islamic festival. Results showed a significant increase in interest in religious learning and Qur'an reading ability, with 80% of children demonstrating improved Qur'an reading skills. The main challenge was maintaining consistency in children's participation. This research highlights the importance of interactive and enjoyable religious education programs in enhancing long-term religious literacy.

Abstract

The Independent Community Service conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan aimed introduce Arabic creatively and relevantly to students. Key activities included teaching basic vocabulary, dhomir (pronouns), the story of the Prophet Muhammad's birth, and Iqra’ lessons for students with limited Qur'an reading skills. The program used interactive approaches such as storytelling and practical examples to enhance students' understanding. Results indicated increased interest and improved skills in Arabic comprehension among students. Support from the school and active student participation were critical factors in the program's success. Although challenges, such as low initial awareness of Arabic's importance, were encountered, creative approaches effectively addressed these issues. This program not only provided immediate positive outcomes but also opened opportunities for more innovative and applicable Arabic learning in the future. Abstract

The purpose of this service is to assist in the preparation of financial reports for Mochi Chico MSMEs in accordance with SAK EMKM with a cash basis or accrual basis. The service method is carried out through surveys, workshops, technical guidance, practical implementation, and continuous monitoring with a participatory approach to the preparation of EMKM financial reports. The results of this service are that Mochi business actors are able to prepare financial reports independently using the cash basis and accrual basis methods according to EMKM standards with better accuracy and transparency. The results of the assistance show that the financial report of Mochi Chicho MSMEs presents the financial position in 2023, which precisely from August 23 shows a total asset of IDR 134,080,000 for Profit and Loss in 2023 net profit of IDR 121,080,000 and from the cash flow report it gets IDR 86,365,500 and from the journal of disbursement of fund balances of IDR 82,634,500.

Abstract

Webinar Pengembangan Lembaga PAUD di Kota Bengkulu bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan dan pelayanan pendidikan anak usia dini. Kegiatan ini diadakan untuk guru dan kepala sekolah PAUD sebagai bentuk pengabdian masyarakat dalam mendukung peningkatan kompetensi tenaga pendidik. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup manajemen lembaga, inovasi pembelajaran, strategi menghadapi tantangan era digital, serta penguatan peran PAUD dalam mendukung tumbuh kembang anak secara holistik. Metode webinar memungkinkan peserta dari berbagai wilayah untuk berpartisipasi aktif melalui diskusi interaktif, sesi tanya jawab, dan studi kasus. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terkait pengelolaan lembaga PAUD yang efektif dan inovatif. Webinar ini diharapkan mampu memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap perkembangan PAUD di Kota Bengkulu dalam mencetak generasi yang cerdas, kreatif, dan berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to develop children's creativity and art skills through the introduction of information and communication technology (ICT), especially the use of Microsoft Paint applications. This activity was carried out at Teras Literasi Gresik by involving elementary school children as the main subjects. The program is designed to integrate technology learning with art experiences, so that children not only understand the theory, but also practice directly the features of Paint such as drawing, coloring, and editing images. A practice-based approach is applied to improve children's digital skills early on, while familiarizing them with using computer software in a fun and applicable way. The implementation results showed that participants were active and enthusiastic in participating in the activities, although some still needed assistance to operate the device. question and answer session at the end of the activity showed the participants' increased understanding of the material taught. Limited facilities, such as the number of devices available, became a major challenge in this activity, but did not reduce the overall effectiveness of the program. This activity succeeded in creating an interactive learning atmosphere, improving digital literacy, and preparing children to adapt to more complex technologies in the future. This program makes a real contribution to the development of children's digital and artistic skills in the context of basic education
