Abstract

Intoduction: Diabetes is a serious chronic disease that occurs when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin (a hormone that regulates blood sugar or glucose), or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces. Data on Diabetes Mellitus Patients at the Bintuhan Health Center in 2019 recorded 87 cases, in 2020 the number of diabetes mellitus sufferers increased to 94 people and there was a significant increase again in 2021, namely 98 diabetes mellitus sufferers. This very significant increase is the problem of the incidence of diabetes mellitus at the Bintuhan Health Center. The aim of the research is to find out the factors that influence the incidence of diabetes mellitus at the Bintuhan Health Center, Kaur Regency, in 2022. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with an analytic survey research method using a Cross Sectional design. The sample in the study was 97 people with a total sampling technique. The research instrument uses a questionnaire sheet. The research analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between genetics (p value=0.003), knowledge (p value=0.000), obesity (p value=0.001) and the incidence of diabetes mellitus at the Bintuhan Health Center, Kaur Tahun District. Suggestions, it is necessary to explore the knowledge of respondents related to the incidence of diabetes mellitus so that interventions in the field to increase the knowledge of respondents are more appropriate.

Abstract

There are 1712 people with hypertension in Kaur Regency in 2020. (Kaur District Health Office, 2020). Data from the Bintuhan Health Center in Kaur Regency show that there will be 138 people with hypertension in 2020 and 147 people in 2021. Knowing the factors associated with the incidence of hypertension at the Bintuhan Health Center, Kaur Regency in 2022. This study used a descriptive quantitative research type with an analytic survey research method using a Cross Sectional design using a total sampling technique with a sample of 76 respondents. The research instrument uses a questionnaire sheet. The research analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between age (p value=0.022), family history (p value=0.012), knowledge (p value=0.005), obesity (p value=0.015) and the incidence of hypertension at the Bintuhan Health Center, Kaur District in 2022. there is an increase in health promotion by health workers in the community regarding improving the quality of life through healthy living behaviors and avoiding risk factors for hypertension.

Abstract

WHO in 2018 estimates that there are 161 million toddlers experiencing nutritional problems. The biggest nutritional problem occurs in toddlers reaching 51 million toddlers. Under-5 mortality due to nutrition is 2.8 million people and 2 suffer from micronutrient deficienciesbillion. The problem of malnutrition and malnutrition is still a major problemin Indonesia. In Indonesia, the problem of malnutrition causes four ofa hundred babies born each year cannot survive more thanfive years, which is generally a victim of illness and condition which is exacerbated by the nutrition problem; one in three children under five experienced growth disturbances and almost a fifth of the number of children under five experience less weight. (Kemenkes RI. 2018). In Kaur district, in 2022 there will be 967 toddlers with malnutrition under five status. Of the 967 toddlers whose nutritional status was lacking, the most at the Muara Nasal Health Center were 242 toddlers with less nutritional status than the number of toddlers in the working area of ​​the Muara Nasal Health Center as many as 5,711 toddlers.This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional research design. The population in this study were all toddlers who were and were recorded at the Muara Nasal Health Center Register in Kaur Regency in 2022 as many as 5711 people. the sample in this study were 98 people.The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and the nutritional status of toddlers in the working area of ​​the Muara Nasal Health Center, Kaur District. there is a relationship between maternal age and the nutritional status of toddlers in the working area of ​​the Muara Nasal Health Center, Kaur Regency, and there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the nutritional status of toddlers in the working area of ​​the Muara Nasal Health Center, Kaur Regency Suggestion The results of this study can be used as material for consideration for the Muara Nasal Public Health Center to improve the handling of nutritional status in caring for their children through increasing the participation of husbands in supporting their wives in caring for their children, both supporting personnel, moral and material in caring for toddlers with nutritional status. and for parents of toddlers it is hoped that the puskesmas can conduct counseling, especially about the many diseases that are caused, especially the nutritional status of toddlers.

Abstract

Upper respiratory tract infection (ARI) is a problem of acute inflammation of the upper and lower respiratory tract. Acute respiratory infections are caused by viruses or bacteria. Data from the world health organization in 2020 there are approximately 960,000 children under five who died and this was caused by ISPA (WHO, 2020). The prevalence of ARI in children under five by province based on basic health research in 2018 in Bengkulu province was 14% of 100,000 residents (RI Ministry of Health, 2018). And based on data from the Kaur District Health Office the number of ISPA sufferers in 2020 was 1,486 (Kaur District Health Office, 2020). This research uses a descriptive quantitative research type with an analytic survey research method using a Cross Sectional design. This research was conducted by collecting data and direct observation of the respondents at the same time. The population that has been studied is all mothers who have toddlers in the Beriang Tinggi Working Area, Kaur Regency in 2021, totaling 354 mothers who have toddlers. The sampling technique in this study is the snowball sampling technique. So the sample in this study were 188 mothers. The results of this study are that there is a relationship between clean and healthy living behavior and the incidence of respiratory infections in toddlers in the Working Area of the Beriang Tinggi Health Center, Kaur Regency, in 2021, there is a relationship between home ventilation and the incidence of respiratory infections in toddlers in the Work Area, Beriang Tinggi Health Center, Kaur Regency, in 2021, there is a relationship between the floor of the house with the incidence of respiratory infections in toddlers in the Working Area of the Beriang Tinggi Health Center, Kaur Regency in 2021 and there is a relationship between the walls of the house and the incidence of respiratory infections in toddlers in the Work Area of the Beriang Tinggi Health Center, Kaur Regency in 2021. It is hoped that the study program results from this research can be developed and added to insight and can add knowledge to other students

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the determinants of the incidence of hypertension at the Kaur District General Hospital in 2021. This study used a Cross Sectional design, with an Accidental Sampling Technique with a sample of 76 respondents. The research instrument uses a questionnaire. The research analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi square test. The results of the study obtained that most of the respondents had an age at risk of 67.1%, most of the respondents had a family history of hypertension by 56.6%, almost some of the respondents had sufficient knowledge of 46.1%, most of the respondents were obese by 42 .1%, and most of the respondents experienced hypertension of 71.1% at the Kaur District General Hospital in 2021. Bivariate analysis obtained that there was a relationship between age, family history, knowledge, obesity, and the incidence of hypertension at the Kaur District Hospital in 2021 It is recommended to do regular exercise to avoid obesity, and a balanced diet for those who have a risky age and family history and increase understanding of hypertension to avoid risk factors for hypertension.

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition in which there is an increase in systolic blood pressure ≥140 mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure ≥90 mmHg (RI Ministry of Health, 2019). Data released by WHO (2018) shows that around 26.4% of the world's population has hypertension with a ratio of 26.6% of men and 26.1% of women. In Indonesia, the estimated number of cases of hypertension in Indonesia is 63,309,620 people, while the death rate in Indonesia due to hypertension is 427,218 deaths. Hypertension occurs in the age group 31-44 years (31.6%), age 45-54 years (45.3%), age 55-64 years (55.2%) (Riskesdas RI Ministry of Health, 2018). Based on data from the 2018 Bengkulu Province Health Profile, it is estimated that there are 889,010 sufferers who have hypertension in Bengkulu province and only 9% receive services or utilize health services according to standards (Bengkulu Provincial Health Office, 2019). This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional research design. The population in this study were all patients seeking treatment at the Prodia Bengkulu Clinical Laboratory in 2022, totaling 1,426 patients. The sample used in this study were 93 respondents. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between cholesterol levels and the incidence of hypertension at the Prodia Bengkulu Clinical Laboratory in 2022. Viewed using the Chi-Square test (Pearson Chi-Square), a value of 9.265 is obtained with a value of p = 0.010 and there is a relationship between body mass index and the incidence of hypertension in Prodia Bengkulu Clinical Laboratory in 2022 viewed using the Chi-Square test (Pearson Chi-Square) obtained a value of 9.783 with a p value = 0.021 Suggestions can contribute information to the public, regarding the relationship between cholesterol levels and Body Mass Index with hypertension in Bengkulu City and for people with hypertension to be able to check and carry out routine checks in the laboratory

Abstract

Cancer is a disease with many variations and a high level of morbidity. Cancer therapy has significant development with the emergence of new anti-cancer compounds and using combinations of anti-cancer compounds. Therefore, a simple and appropriate analytical method is needed for the analysis of anti-cancer compounds in various sample forms. Liquid chromatography is a common method of analysis. This review will provide information on the validation of liquid chromatography analysis methods in the analysis of anticancer compounds. Parameters observed were linearity, accuracy and precision, sensitivity and specificity, and system suitability.

Abstract

Intoduction: Hypertension or high blood pressure is a chronic condition characterized by increased blood pressure on the walls of the arterial blood vessels. According to Riskesdas data, the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia is 34.1%. Bengkulu Province ranks 26th nationally with a prevalence of 28.14%, with the highest estimated number of cases in individuals aged ≥15 years at Telaga Dewa Health Center, totaling 3,852 cases. This study aims to identify the risk factors associated with hypertension incidence at Telaga Dewa Health Center, Bengkulu City in 2024. Method: This research is quantitative with a cross- sectional design. The sample size is 58 respondents, using accidental sampling techniques with a questionnaire instrument and data processing using SPSS 20. Result and Discussion: The results showed that the majority experienced hypertension, with 39 respondents (67.2%), most were not obese, with 38 respondents (65.6%), nearly half experienced severe stress, with 26 respondents (44.8%), and nearly half had insufficient knowledge, with 31 respondents (53.4%). There was no significant relationship found in the obesity variable (p-value = 0.251 < α 0.05), but there was a significant relationship in the stress variable (p-value = 0.006 < α 0.05) and knowledge (p-value = 0.025 < α 0.05). Conclusion: In this study it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between stress levels and the incidence of hypertension and there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the incidence of hypertension.

Abstract

Intoduction: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder caused by many factors characterized by high blood sugar levels due to impaired insulin function. Approximately 422 million people worldwide suffer from diabetes mellitus. According to IDF data, diabetes mellitus also causes 6.7 million deaths, or 1 every 5 seconds. Indonesia ranks fifth with 19.47 million diabetes mellitus sufferers out of a population of 179.72 million. Method: This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. A sample of 50 respondents was obtained through accidental sampling. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test. Result and Discussion: the research results showed that almost the majority of respondents had a family history, with 40 people (80.0%), most respondents had good knowledge, with 20 people (40.0%), and the majority of respondents had unfavorable attitudes, with 32 people (64.0%). There was a significant relationship in the family history variable (p-value = 0.020 < α 0.05), a significant relationship in the knowledge variable (p-value = 0.031 < α 0.05), and no relationship in the attitude variable (p-value = 1.000 < α 0.05). Conclusion: is hoped that the health center will more frequently coordinate with health authorities to monitor and enhance surveys, provide counseling, and that the community will actively participate in diabetes mellitus prevention activities at Telaga Dewa Health Center.

Abstract

Intoduction: Gastritis is a disease of the upper gastrointestinal tract characterized by severe pain in the upper abdomen. WHO data indicates that the number of gastritis cases reaches 1.8-2.1 million. The incidence of gastritis in Indonesia has a prevalence of 274,396 cases out of 238,452,952 residents. Data from the provincial health office records 1,620 cases, while data from Lubuk Pinang health center shows 64 cases. Many people have the habit of smoking, experience stress, and frequently consume Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). The aim of this study is to identify the factors related to the incidence of gastritis. Method: This research is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional design. The population consists of 582 individuals. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling. The analysis used is univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square test.Result and Discussion: A small percentage of respondents experienced gastritis, the majority of respondents did not consume NSAIDs, most respondents did not smoke, and most respondents experienced mild stress. There is a relationship between NSAID consumption (p=0.006) and stress levels (p=0.000) with the incidence of gastritis. There is no relationship between smoking habits and the incidence of gastritis (p=0.577). Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that gastritis is influenced by stress levels and NSAIDs, but there is no relationship with smoking habits.
