Abstract

Intoduction: Dyspepsia is a disorder of the upper gastrointestinal tract that often occurs with complaints of upper abdominal pain, burning sensation, nausea, vomiting, fullness, and bloating. In 2023, it was estimated that the incidence of dyspepsia increased from 10 million individuals to 28 individuals, equivalent to 11.3% of the total population in Indonesia. Dyspepsia patients rank among the top 10 diseases, with 30,154 cases (4.9%) among inpatients in hospitals in Bengkulu Province. Data from 2023 at TK IV 02.07.01 Zainul Arifin Hospital Bengkulu indicated that the number of dyspepsia patients was 223. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between age, knowledge, and irregular eating habits with the incidence of dyspepsia at TK IV 02.07.01 Zainul Arifin Hospital, Bengkulu in 2024. Method: This research is analytical with a cross-sectional study design. The population of this study consists of all patients visiting the hospital from January to March 2024, totaling 627 individuals. The sampling technique used in this study is accidental sampling, with a sample size of 44. Result and Discussion: The results of this study show a relationship between age and the incidence of dyspepsia at the hospital in 2024 with a p-value of 0.010. There is a relationship between knowledge and the incidence of dyspepsia at the hospital in 2024 with a p-value of 0.042. There is a relationship between irregular eating habits and the incidence of dyspepsia at the hospital in 2024 with a p-value of 0.003. Conclusion: This research is expected to provide information that supports the risk factors for the incidence of dyspepsia and the need for further research on other factors that influence the differences between functional dyspepsia and organic dyspepsia based on levels of depression and anxiety.

Abstract

Intoduction: ARI disease is still one of the important public health problems to be considered because it is an acute disease and can even cause death. Data obtained from the ARI Poly at the Sukamerindu Health Center, Bengkulu City, in the last 3 years has always experienced the highest ARI cases in Bnegkulu City, in 2020 there were 354 cases. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors associated with the incidence of ARI in toddlers in the Working Area of the Sukamerindu Health Center, Bengkulu city in 2021. Method: This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional research design. The sample amounted to 100 respondents with simple random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire sheet. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate (using chi square test with α=0.05) using SPSS 16 software. Result and Discussion: The results showed that more than half of the respondents had smoking habits of family members, more than half of the respondents had residential density, more than half of the respondents had LBW, more than half of the respondents experienced ARI at the Sukamerindu Health Center, Bengkulu City in 2021. Based on the bivariate analysis, it is known that there is a significant relationship between the smoking habits of family members and the incidence of ARI, there is a significant relationship between occupancy density and the incidence of ARI and there is a significant relationship between LBW and the incidence of ARI at the Sukamerindu Health Center, Bengkulu City, 2021. Conclusion: It is expected that health workers at the Sukamerindu Health Center continue to carry out health promotion measures in the form of education to increase knowledge about what risk factors can cause ARI and how to prevent it.

Abstract

Long-term contraceptive methods such as IUDs, implants and sterilization. The World Health Organization in 2022 states that the global prevalence of contraceptive use with all methods is estimated at 65% and modern methods at 58.7% in married women (World Health Organization, 2023). The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between husband support and the selection of Implant contraceptives in the working area of Bangun Jaya Health Center in 2024. This study used analytic research with a cross sectional design. The population in this study were Fertile Age Couples in the working area of Bangun Jaya Health Center from June-July 2024 as many as 876 people. Purposive sampling technique, namely sampling based on researcher judgment and in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sample used by mothers of childbearing age couples was 67 people. Chi-square test results show that the variable of husband's support with the selection of contraceptives obtained chi-square p-value 0.000 (α <0.05), so it can be concluded that the relationship of husband's support with the selection of Implant contraceptives in the working area of Bangun Jaya Health Center in 2024.It is recommended to increase knowledge about the need for husband's support in choosing contraceptives in order to maintain household harmony.

Abstract

Hipertensi di Indonesia berada pada peringkat ke-5 dengan kasus hipertensi terbanyak di dunia. Studi spasial mengenai hipertensi sebumnya sudah banyak dilakukan di beberapa negara, termasuk Indonesia. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui autokorelasi spasial hipertensi di Indonesia dan mengetahui autokorelasi spasial Merokok dengan Prevalensi Hipertensi pada tingkat kab/kota di Indonesia. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksploratif dengan desain ekologi yang mana mempelajari tentang persebaran penyakit hipertensi dan menggunakan aplikasi Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) yang menganalisis data secara spasial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasional dengan teknik indeks moran yang meliputi Univariat Moran’s I dan Bivariat Moran’s I dengan menggunkan software GeoDa. Sumber data didapatkan dari Laporan Riset Kesehatan Dasar Tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menganalisis 514 Kab/Kota yang berada pada 7 Pulau di Indonesia diantaranya, Sumatera, Jawa, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku, Bali NTB NTT dan Papua. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menemukan adanya autokorelasi spasial (p<0,05) prevalensi hipertensi di Pulau Sumatera yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai indeks morans 0,471. Jawa 0,497, Kalimantan 0,326, Sulawesi 0,881, Maluku 0,378, Bali NTB NTT 0,620 dan bersifat clustered (mengelompok), Namun pada Pulau Papua tidak terdapat autokorelasi spasial p->0,05 tetapi memiliki sifat autokorelasi positif ditunjukkan dengan nilai indeks moran’s 0,128 (I>E[1]). Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil analisis Univariat Moram’s Indeks terdapat Autokorelasi Positif pada Pulau Sumatera. Jawa, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku, Bali NTB NTT dan Papua. Hasil Bivariat LISA menunjukkan adanya autokorelasi spasial positif antara proporsi merokok dengan prevalensi hipertensi pada Pulau Sumatera, Kalimantan dan Papua, dan Berautokokorelasi negatif pada Pulau Jawa, Sulawesi, Maluku dan Bali NTB NTT.

Abstract

The data from WHO, the prevalence of stunting in 2022 is 33.6%. The prevalence of stunting in Asia in 2022 is 33.0%. SSGI data on the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia in 2022 is 21.6%, this figure is still above the standard of 20%. SSGI data of Bengkulu Province in 2022, the prevalence of stunting is 19.8%, this figure is not in accordance with the target that has been set at 18.84%. South Bengkulu Regency is one of the regency that has experienced an increase in the stunting prevalence rate from 20.8% to 23.2%. Stunting data at Seginim Health Center increases in every year. The aim of the research is to analyze the incidence of stunting among toddlers in the working area of Seginim Health Center, South Bengkulu Regency. This research is a quantitative research using a cross sectional study design. The number of samples in the study was 78 respondents. The sampling technique used Simple Random Sampling. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi-square test. The research results showed that a small portion of respondents experienced stunting at 29.5%, the majority of respondents had sufficient knowledge at 51.3%, a small portion of respondents had income < minimum wage at 23.1%, almost half of the respondents did not breastfeed exclusively at 42.3%. There is a significant correlation between knowledge (p=0.000), income (p=0.002), infectious diseases (p=0.007) and the incidence of stunting at Seginim Health Center, South Bengkulu. It is hoped that further research can be carried out to look at other risk factors using more in-depth research design and analysis.

Abstract

Gouty arthritis is an inflammation of the joints. WHO data in 2022, shows the prevalence of gouty arthritis in the world is 41.2%. Riskesdas data on the prevalence of gouty arthritis in Indonesia has increased by 11.9%. Cases of gouty arthritis from the Mukomuko Health Office data in 2022 were 248 cases. The aim of the study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of Gout Arthritis at the Bantal Health Centre, Mukomuko Regency. This research is a quantitative research using cross sectional study design. The number of samples in the study were 78 respondents. The sampling technique used accidental sampling. The analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square test. The results showed that almost half of the respondents suffered from Gouty Arthritis by 38.5%, most of the respondents had an age < 60 years as many as 57 respondents (73.1%), most of the respondents were female as many as 56 respondents (71.8%), almost all of the respondents had BMI ≤ 25 as many as 65 respondents (83.3%), there was a significant relationship between age (p = 0.000), gender (p = 0.000) with the incidence of gouty arthritis, there was no significant relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of gouty arthritis at Puskesmas Bantal, Mukomuko Regency (p = 0.118). It is hoped that further research can look at other risk factors using a more in-depth research design and analysis.

Abstract

Coronary heart disease causes 15% mortality in the world. In Indonesia, 220,372 people died during 2022 due to heart disease. CHD cases at Muko-Muko Hospital in 2021 were 56 and experienced an increase in 2022 of 62 cases. CHD death cases in 2021 were 8 cases, and there was an increase in 2022 of 18 cases. The purpose of the study was to find out the risk factors associated with the incidence of coronary heart disease at the Regional General Hospital of Muko-Muko Regency. This study uses quantitative methods with a Case Control Study approach and sampling techniques using consecutive sampling techniques with a total sample of 62 cases and 62 controls. Instruments in this study used questionnaires and observation sheets. The research analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi square test. The results showed that most of the respondents had an age ≥ 40 years by 52.4%, most of the respondents had secondary education by 50.0%, most of the respondents had a history of hypertension by 55.6%, some of the respondents smoked ≥ 12 cigarettes per day by 58.1%. The results of bivariate analysis of age (p = 0.000; OR = 11.9), history of hypertension (p = 0.000; OR = 9.4), smoking habits (p = 0.000; OR = 16.5), and stress (p = 0.000; OR = 17.1) are significantly related to the incidence of coronary heart disease in Kaur Regional General Hospital. It is recommended that there is a need for increased health promotion by health workers in the community about improving the quality of life through healthy living behaviour and avoiding risk factors for CHD.

Abstract

Functional ability refers to a person's capacity to perform tasks related to daily activities, which involves multiple joint and muscle groups to enhance stability. The research addresses the issue of increasing numbers of osteoarthritis patients experiencing functional impairments. The objective of this study is to examine the relationship between close kinetic chain exercise and the functional disability of elderly individuals with osteoarthritis in the Citra Medika Health Center area, Lubuklinggau City.This research employs a quantitative method with a pre-test and post-test design. The treatment group will receive theraband exercise therapy. The study's population consists of 253 individuals, with a sample size of 10 people. The data types include both primary and secondary data. Data analysis is conducted using paired t-test statistics (a parametric test).The findings reveal that the average functional ability score before the close kinetic chain exercise intervention for osteoarthritis patients in the Citra Medika Health Center area, Lubuklinggau City, was 54.50. After the intervention, the average functional ability score improved to 44.70. This indicates a significant relationship between close kinetic chain exercise and functional ability in osteoarthritis patients, with a p-value of 0.000.This research is expected to provide the Citra Medika Health Center in Lubuklinggau City, as well as the relevant professionals, with valuable data and theoretical insights to enhance the quality of nursing care services for osteoarthritis patients by implementing standardized procedures for exercise therapy.carrying out closed kinetic chain exercises in the routine activities of the Community Health Center.

The populaition in this study wais 719 people aind ai saimple of 12 people. The type of reseairch daitai is primairy daitai. Daitai ainailysis used univairiaite ainailysis aind bivairiaite ainailysis, the staitisticail test used wais the Wilcoxon test.Result : The results of the study showed thait the aiveraige vailue of systolic blood pressure before wais 152.50 aind the aiveraige vailue of diaistolic blood pressure before wais 96.67. The results of the study showed thait the aiveraige vailue of systolic blood pressure aifter wais 126.67 aind the aiveraige vailue of diaistolic blood pressure aifter wais 85.83. Bivairiaite ainailysis with p vailue of 0.002. Conclusion : It is hoped thait nurses cain use Swedish maissaige theraipy ais one of the nursing interventions in cairrying out nursing caire for hypertension paitient.

Abstract

Theraband exercise, a type of elastic resistance exercise that allows many different movements to increase muscle strength, joint mobility, function and reduce joint pain in osteoarthritis sufferers. The research problem is the increase in patients experiencing pain in osteoarthritis. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of theraband exercise therapy on reducing pain in osteoarthritis patients at the Citra Medika Health Center, Lubuklinggau City. This study is a quantitative method with a pre and post test design. In this study, the treatment group will receive theraband exercise therapy. The total population studied was 253 people, and only 10 samples were taken. The Wilcoxon test (non-parametric) was used to analyze primary and secondary data. The results of this study were the average value of pain reduction before using theraband exercise therapy in osteoarthritis patients, namely 5.10. The average value of pain reduction after using theraband exercise therapy in osteoarthritis patients was 2.20. There is an effect of theraband exercise therapy on reducing pain in osteoarthritis patients at the Citra Medika Health Center, Lubuklinggau City with a p value of 0.004.For the Citra Medika Health Center, Lubuklinggau City, they can include theraband exercise therapy in routine program activities at the Citra Medika Health Center, Lubuklinggau City and carry out theraband exercise therapy as a nursing intervention to reduce pain in osteoarthritis patients.
