Abstract

Injection contraception is a contraceptive method that is widely used in Indonesia. The proportion of injection contraception use was 62.77%. Most acceptors of 3-month injection KB experience an increase in body weight. This is because progesterone stimulates the appetite control center in the hypothalamus, thereby influencing eating behavior. One study showed that many injecting contraceptive users stopped due to side effects such as menstrual disturbances, weight gain, headaches, and stomach discomfort. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between the use of 3-month s injection contraception and the increase in the weight of family planning acceptors at Endah Setiati, SST Independent Midwife Practice Tongas Wetan village.  This study used a retrospective, using secondary data. With correlation research design with a cross sectional study approach. The population in this study was the number of acceptors of 3-month s injectable family planning at Endah Setiati, SST Independent Midwife Practice. From January to December, 90 people using the total sampling technique and statistical tests used the Chi square test. The results of this study revealed that of the 90 acceptors of the 3-month s injection, most of the acceptors used it for a long time and experienced weight gain, namely 40 people (44.4%). The results of the Chi Square statistical test obtained p-value = 0.126. However, it can be concluded that there is no correlation between the use of 3-month s injectable birth control and weight gain in Endah Setiati, SST Independent Midwife Practice in Tongas Wetan village. The suggestion of this research, will be able to have an impact on midwifery services in the community, especially in providing explanations to patients about the side effects of using 3-month injectable birth control.

Abstract

The process of operational planning and hospital decision making is assisted by the SIMRS system. Based on a preliminary survey conducted in the Medical Records section of RSUD doctors, R. Soedarsono found 400 SIMRS patient data and 300 manual patient data. Because staff members enter the same patient data multiple times, some of this data is duplicated. Information collected daily from short-term and inpatients is used for ongoing screening considerations from day to day, week to week, and month to month. The aim of this research is to find out what influences the accuracy of SIMRS daily inpatient census data. A quantitative approach with descriptive methods was used for this research. The subject of the examination was a medical records officer, while the object of exploration was a PC gadget. The results of the examination showed a variety of officers' information regarding using SIMRS: 20% inadequate, 40% adequate, and 40% good. The SIMRS strategy was seen as half inappropriate and half inappropriate, while the hardware was 60% complete and 40% short. Medical record officers should receive training on how to calculate daily inpatient census data correctly.

Abstract

A hospital is a group that medical professionals do in a well-structured manner. Electronic medical records are a transition from manual to computerized patient medical records. The function of electronic medical records in general is to improve the quality of services provided to patients. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method and data collected through observation and interviews, the informants in this study are 3 people, namely the head of the medical record coordinator, registration officer and IT officer. Factors that hinder the readiness to implement electronic medical records include 3 aspects, namely: Human resources (HR), infrastructure and information technology (IT). The results obtained at the Karel Sadsuitubun Langgur Hospital are the lack of understanding and knowledge of officers related to electronic medical records, inadequate computers in the polyclinic room due to cost constraints, and the lack of integration with Satu Sehat. The readiness of the implementation of electronic medical records at Karel Sadsuitubun Langgur Hospital is still hampered by these 3 aspects so that there is a need for socialization and training to officers, the holding of computers in each polyclinic room so that services can run optimally and immediately cooperate with Satu Sehat.

Abstract

Long queues continue to plague healthcare services, and one of the main causes of dissatisfaction is long waiting times. Patient waiting times are a significant factor in determining the quality of healthcare. Based on preliminary research at RS HASTA HUSADA Kepanjen, it appears that the implementation of outpatient services is not yet running optimally, especially for long-term outpatients. To investigate the factors contributing to long waiting times in outpatient services at RS HASTA HUSADA Kepanjen, with a particular focus on long-term outpatients, and to identify strategies for improving patient flow and reducing waiting times. This study used a descriptive type with a quantitative approach and a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The research instruments used include questionnaires, observation checklists, and time observation assessments. Data analysis was carried out using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with chi-square test. The average patient at HASTA HUSADA HOSPITAL Kepanjen had to wait 70.18 minutes to get outpatient services, and most of the time was relatively long (more than 60 minutes). However, the level of patient satisfaction is classified as "quite satisfied". Based on the assessment of the five dimensions of service quality, patients are satisfied with the dimensions of "tangibles", "responsiveness", "assurance", and "empathy". However, in the "reliability" dimension, patients only feel "satisfied". The study showed that there was a relationship between service waiting time and patient satisfaction level at HASTA HUSADA HOSPITAL Kepanjen. This is evidenced by a p-value of 0.042 and a chi-square value of 4.135.

Abstract

Implementation of electronic medical records (RME) in hospitals has become an important step in improving the quality and efficiency of health services. Hasta Husada Hospital has adopted this system, but still faces various challenges. This study aims to analyze and evaluate improving the quality and efficiency of health services through the implementation of electronic medical records (RME) at Hasta Husada Hospital. This research uses a qualitative approach. The research results show that RME provides significant benefits, including fast and accurate access to patient data, increased work efficiency, and reduced medical errors. Although most users feel comfortable using RME after training, there are still complaints about the system interface needing to be simplified. User attitudes were generally positive towards RME after seeing real benefits, despite initial resistance. Implementation of the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) has shown mixed results, with some units having fully transitioned to RME and others still in the transition stage.
