Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Ziyadah Jadidah, Muraja’ah Jadidah, and Muraja’ah Syamilah methods in strengthening students’ Qur’anic memorization. The background of this research is based on the importance of balancing new memorization (ziyadah) and systematic revision (muraja’ah) to maintain the quality (itqan) and sustainability of memorization. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving tahfizh teachers and students actively participating in the memorization program. The findings indicate that the Ziyadah Jadidah method plays a crucial role in establishing new memorization foundations through structured submission and strict tajwid supervision. The Muraja’ah Jadidah method strengthens newly memorized verses through intensive and routine repetition under teacher guidance. Meanwhile, Muraja’ah Syamilah functions as a comprehensive revision process to maintain continuity between previously memorized sections, ensuring strong and long-term retention. Supporting factors include a religious learning environment, disciplined program management, and teacher motivation, while inhibiting factors involve student fatigue and limited time management. Overall, these three methods complement each other in forming a systematic and effective memorization reinforcement model.

Abstract

Current global environmental degradation demands solution-oriented approaches that engage the spiritual and moral consciousness of society. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Education (PAI) in fostering environmental awareness through the concept of Green Islam within the school environment. The research method employed is a qualitative approach, utilizing literature review and school-based case studies. The findings indicate that Islamic Education goes beyond teaching ritualistic aspects of religion; it integrates theological values such as the concept of humans as khalifah fi al-ardh (stewards on earth) who are responsible for environmental sustainability. The implementation of Green Islam in schools is carried out through the integration of an environment-based curriculum, the cultivation of eco-friendly behaviors (such as waste management and greening initiatives), and ecological dawah (proselytizing) in school religious activities. The main obstacles identified include the limitation of environment-focused religious textbooks and a lack of consistency in field implementation. In conclusion, Islamic Education plays a crucial role as a catalyst in shaping the character of an eco-literate younger generation through the internalization of green spiritual values.

Abstract

Learning English for early childhood requires engaging, interactive, and enjoyable methods to help students understand and remember new knowledge more easily. One effective learning medium is English children's songs. Songs are characterized by simple lyrics, repeated words or phrases, and memorable rhythms, which can help students master English. Furthermore, the use of songs can create a more active and engaging learning environment. This study aims to determine the effect of using children's songs on improving students' English comprehension. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation and interviews. The results indicate that the use of English children's songs has a positive impact on the learning process. Songs can increase students' interest and motivation to learn, simplify the process of remembering new vocabulary, and create a fun learning environment, thus supporting the improvement of English comprehension in early childhood.
