Abstract

The paradigm in the field of education continues to undergo significant changes in line with social, technological, and global needs. This article reviews various studies discussing the shift in educational paradigms, from the traditional one-way teaching paradigm to the constructivist paradigm and the integration of technology in learning. The reviewed research shows that this paradigm shift has a positive impact on improving the quality of education, emphasizing the active role of students in constructing knowledge through experience and collaboration. Furthermore, information and communication technology play a crucial role in enriching the learning experience, providing broader access, and creating more flexible and personalized learning environments. The concept of inclusive education is also becoming increasingly important to ensure that all students, including those with special needs, have equal opportunities to learn. This article aims to explore the evolution of educational paradigms and review journal articles from previous researchers.

Abstract

The journey of paradigm transformation in science begins with the scientific revolution of the 16th and 17th centuries and extends to the modern era marked by advancements in information technology. Utilizing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study identifies factors influencing paradigm shifts, including technological advancements, globalization, and social needs. The findings indicate that paradigm transformation significantly impacts teaching methods, student learning approaches, and scientific research practices. Interdisciplinary approaches and the use of digital technology are becoming increasingly prevalent, while challenges such as resource limitations and resistance to change persist. This research aims to provide new insights into the integration of new paradigms in education and scientific research, along with their implications for educational quality in the modern era.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the complex relationship between education, religion and ideology through the lens of philosophy. These three concepts of education, religion and ideology have influenced and shaped each other throughout the history of human civilisation. Education is a means of shaping individuals and society, while religion and ideology provide a foundation of values and moral guidance that influence the educational process. From a philosophical perspective, the relationship between education, religion and ideology can be analysed through several questions, including the purpose, meaning and values underlying the education system. These three concepts can be analysed through philosophy, as philosophy is a systematic attempt to understand reality and plays an important role. We can identify various perspectives on how education shapes the character of individuals and society, how religion influences worldview and human behaviour, and how ideology shapes collective identity and political orientation through various schools of philosophy, such as philosophy of education, philosophy of religion, and political philosophy, This research method uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) study. The references for this writing come from journals, papers, and articles from 2022 to 2024. The journals, papers and articles reviewed were 15 and came from Google Schoolar. The results of this study are: (1) The relationship between education and Islamic philosophy, (2) The development of philosophy of science in the world of education in Indonesia, (3) The Merdeka curriculum in philosophical review, (4) The relationship between philosophy and religion, law and technology, (5) The relationship between philosophy and the ideology of Pancasila.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of the science subject matter were caused by teachers. After the teacher felt a decrease in students’ interest in science learning. It can be observed that there is still material that seems difficult for children to understand: one of which is related to "everyday material according to its components (single substances and mixtures)". The purpose of this study is none other than to improve the learning outcomes of class V students of SDN 12 Banyuasin I with learning methods. This study is based on Classroom Action Research which consists of two parts. Qualitative data was obtained through observation instruments of single substances and mixtures of students. The interactive learning model is designed to allow students to ask their own questions and get answers. This interactive learning model can also be understood as learning that emphasizes communication between students and students and teachers in direct interaction with learning resources. After seeing the evaluation results, the teacher felt a decrease in students’ interest in science learning. It can be concluded that the average science learning score of class V students of SDN 12 Banyuasin I after using the interactive method where cycle I was 68.0 and cycle II was 89.3, so that the average from Cycle I to Cycle II can be known.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of philosophical foundations in education, especially in the context of student character building. Through a qualitative approach with a systematic literature review (SLR) method, this research explores various schools of educational philosophy, focusing on realism and idealism. It is emphasized that education cannot be viewed holistically without a deep philosophical understanding. Pancasila as the national philosophy of education is the main reference in the implementation of education in Indonesia. The article also highlights the challenges of implementing idealism in educational curricula and practices and the need for further research to understand the effectiveness of this approach in various cultural contexts. The emphasis on universal values and absolute truth in idealism education is expected to strengthen students’ character.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of logic and rationality in science that can influence a leader in making decisions. Rationality is often the basis for humans in thinking and will affect human actions based on their reasoning and logic so that it does not rule out the possibility that a statement will be considered true if it is in accordance with their logic. Through this literature analysis, I reviewed fifteen journals to add insight into the existence of logic and rationality in science and how its implications for one's leadership. The results of this study show that Rationality has an important role that can be used as a benchmark of knowledge itself and logic has four principles such as analogy, syllogism, inductive and deductive that can be used as a reference for researchers in developing new knowledge. I hope the role and influence of logic and rationality in science both in economics, law, sociology and other sciences is expected to add benefits to all elements.

Abstract

This article reviews the criticism of science in the context of the philosophy of idealism and its impact on student character building. Through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this research explores the contributions of prominent thinkers such as Karl R. Popper and Thomas Kuhn, who emphasized the importance of criticism in the development of scientific theories. SLR enables the identification and synthesis of relevant research, providing a comprehensive overview of the development of critique in the philosophy of science. The research shows that critique serves as an evaluative mechanism that encourages innovation and adaptation of science to new realities. The article also identifies gaps in existing research and recommends new directions for future studies, hoping to strengthen understanding of the role of critique in science as well as its application in student character education. Thus, the results of this study are expected to make a significant contribution to the development of educational theory and practice.

Abstract

Axiology of science is a branch of philosophy of science that is very important in the development of science because branches of science that do not have axiological value can bring harm to humans. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between scientific axiology and science. This research uses the systematic literature review (SLR) method by searching for journals that are relevant to the research objectives. In this research there are 15 journals that are relevant to the research questions and objectives. The research results show that axiology provides a solid foundation for developing knowledge related to moral and ethical aspects. Axiology has a huge influence on someone to apply the knowledge they have without harming others, to behave morally, to aestheticize science.
