Abstract

Morals are a priority in Islam. This is based on the rule that the Prophet Muhammad was sent to the world as one of his main missions to perfect morals. In achieving a person's moral perfection, guidance is needed through education, namely Islamic education. There is a problem, namely some grade VIII students of A Junior High School in Mojokerto who have bad behavior towards friends, and teachers and do not obey school rules. This study aims to determine the role of Islamic education teachers in improving the morals of class VIII students at A Junior High School in Mojokerto. The type of research used by the author is qualitative field research. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews/interviews, documentation, and observation. The results of the study can be concluded as the role of the Islamic Education (PAI) teacher in improving the morals of class VIII students at A Junior High School in Mojokerto. PAI teachers carry out their duties in a professional, responsible, patient, and sincere manner. So, class VIII students at A Junior High School in Mojokerto, who used to have poor morals, are now better, now they become individuals who have a polite attitude.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of Indonesian Islamic civilization during the Dutch colonial period. This study using library research produces research data that: 1). The dynamics of the socio-cultural conditions of Islamic civilization during the Dutch colonial period were still underdeveloped due to the strict system of colonialism applied in Indonesia; 2). The government system of Islamic civilization during the Dutch colonial period greatly influenced the development of Islamic civilization in Indonesia; 3). There were 3 strategies for Islamic da'wah during the Dutch colonial period, including: the transitional da'wah system between Hinduism and Islam, the lecture method in surau, and Islamic boarding schools; 4). Challenges to Islamic civilization during the Dutch colonial period included: Challenges in the fields of education, politics, economy and religion or da'wah; 5). Influential figures during Islamic civilization during the Dutch colonial period included K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari, Prince Diponegoro, Tuanku Imam Bonjol, Prince Antasari, and Teungku Cik Di Tiro. This study has implications for increasing literature on the history of Indonesian Islamic civilization so that it can add to the treasury of historical knowledge in Indonesia.

Abstract

The science of cyber preaching is a science that invites towards goodness and avoids evil by using various distribution mediums, especially the cyber world through the internet regardless of time and distance limits. The spread of da'wah knowledge has started since the time of the Prophet s.a.w., Companions, Tabi'in, Tabi' at-tabi'in and up to the present technology era by using various dissemination mediums. The purpose of this study is to identify the knowledge of cyber da'wah, a comparison of the methods of spreading traditional and cyber da'wah knowledge, identify the value and ethics of spreading cyber da'wah knowledge as well as the constraints in the dissemination of cyber da'wah knowledge. This study was conducted using the library method or literature review from various scientific sources as a reference for the study. At the end of the writing of this article, the challenge in spreading the knowledge of cyber da'wah can be concluded as a medium that must be taken as an opportunity by preachers today as well as the public who want to spread widely about Islamic da'wah by taking into account values and ethics when spreading through cyber is used. Challenges in spreading the knowledge of cyber preaching are always there, but as a preacher you should be wise in facing the current technology era without having a negative impact on Islam or other religions.

Abstract

The topic of leadership is of great significance as it pertains to the effective guidance and direction of an educational institution. Leaders possess the authority to mobilise and exert influence over the tasks that are incumbent upon their roles and obligations. The objective of this study is to provide a comprehensive portrayal of school principals in their role as leaders within educational institutions during the 5.0 era. Additionally, the study seeks to examine the integration of the EMASLIM-FM concept into the function of educational leadership during this era. Furthermore, the study wants to depict school principals as visionary leaders in the field of education during the 5.0 era. The present study adopts a qualitative research design, employing a library research methodology. The data were acquired by a comprehensive review of literary sources, including books, ebooks, scholarly journal articles, dissertations, and other relevant publications. The utilisation of comparative analysis for data analysis. The analytical findings indicate that under the EMASLIM-FM framework, the role of the school principle encompasses various tasks, including education, management, administration, supervision, leadership, innovation, motivation, and mediation. In the 5.0 era, effective leadership necessitates that school administrators possess visionary competencies in order to transform their schools into comprehensive educational establishments. The importance of creative leadership cannot be overstated, since it is imperative to recognise that vision serves as a guiding principle within the realm of leadership. The principal should consider incorporating the concept of tangibility and measurability into the framework of the leadership wheel. The crucial factor in attaining the targeted educational objectives is the implementation of tangible measures.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the implementation of guidance and counselling services by class instructors in elementary schools. The present study employed a descriptive qualitative methodology. The data collection methods employed in this study encompassed observation, interviews, and documentation. The individuals providing information for this study consisted of class teachers, school principals, and deputy principals responsible for curriculum affairs. The data underwent analysis through processes of data reduction, data display, and conclusion or verification. The method of source triangulation was selected in order to enhance the trustworthiness of the data. The findings indicate that the implementation of guidance and counselling services by instructors was executed well, resulting in the establishment of a structured and supportive learning environment. The integration of guidance and counselling services into primary school settings involved the incorporation of essential and fundamental competencies outlined in the semester's lesson plan. Teachers can enhance their understanding of their students by prioritising guiding actions aimed at enhancing the efficacy and efficiency of the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Curriculum with a Multicultural Insight is a brilliant idea to be realized in determining the direction of the Islamic Religious learning process at both the Elementary School (SD) and/or Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) levels considering that Indonesia has a rich culture, ethnicity, language and so on, especially the participants Elementary school and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students are the ideal first generation to start implementing the internalization of multicultural values. PAI learning with a multicultural perspective itself prioritizes the internalization and implementation of multicultural values ​​into Islamic Religious Education learning in schools and Islamic Religious learning in madrasas. This research utilized qualitative research library research, and the results of this research were obtained, 1) Learning Islamic Religious Education at the elementary school level is very important to be implemented with the process of internalizing multicultural values, and 2) Furthermore, for this multicultural insight a curriculum is needed The appropriate one is the Islamic Religious Curriculum (PAI) with a multicultural perspective, where in practice the preparation and adjustment of the curriculum is then implemented in learning which can measurably have implications for students who at least have a multicultural attitude, namely an attitude of respecting and appreciating differences.

Abstract

Islam Nusantara as an Islamic concept unique to the archipelago has become an interesting topic of discussion among academics and observers of Islamic education because, at the beginning of its emergence, there were pros and cons. After all, it was felt that Islam Nusantara was a new religion, even though Islam Nusantara was not the result of cultural creation but was the teaching of Islam by Ahlussunnah Wal Jamaah as a whole. essential even though linguistically there are various debates. The purpose of writing this article is to present Islam Nusantara in the style of Islamic boarding schools, where Islamic boarding schools in this context are also educational institutions that give birth to the concept of Islam Nusantara so that from the results of academic discussions at Islamic boarding schools, Islam Nusantara can be well accepted by society in general. as an inevitability in the life of a nation with Islamic culture and religion. This research uses qualitative research with a literature study approach. Meanwhile, the results of this research obtained several recommendations regarding Nusantara Islam in Islamic boarding schools, namely, 1) It is considered important for Islamic boarding schools to preserve Indonesian Islamic education, 2) The model of Nusantara Islamic education in Islamic boarding schools, and 3) The role of government is needed in the formulation and implementation of Nusantara Islamic education in formal education.

Abstract

In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, which requires the younger generation to develop expertise in the IT field, educational institutions must also develop Madrasah management to provide this knowledge and skills for their students. This study aims to examine Prodistik Madrasah's management in developing IT skills in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 so that Madrasah graduates can also master technology. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative with case study type. At the same time, the research location is in MA Negeri 2 Probolinggo. Data collection techniques used include observation and in-depth interviews equipped with documentation. The data analysis technique refers to the Miles and Huberman technique, which allows data reduction, data display, and data verification/conclusion. The study results indicate that Madrasah's management in implementing Prodistik is collaborating with ITS Surabaya, forming an IT Skills Vocational Team and ToT, developing the Prodistik curriculum, and monitoring and evaluating programs in collaboration with ITS every semester. The conclusion is the increasing ability of MA Negeri 2 Probolinggo students in the IT field who can make various useful products by utilizing IT in the preparation of Final Projects and achievements in various IT competitions The implication is that educational institutions can realize Madrasah programs to the maximum if there is cooperation with other relevant institutions or institutions.

Abstract

The Religious Development Model is very important to apply in madrasas to be able to develop the character of students by trying to educate, guide, practice, develop, and supervise students to form good personal character following Islamic teachings. Implementing a model of religious formation, it will greatly influence the formation of students' character, which requires special guidance to avoid character deviations. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Islamic religious formation model at MAN 1 Mojokerto and to analyze the implications of the Islamic religious formation model for developing the character of students at MAN 1 Mojokerto. By using qualitative research and a case study approach. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, and documentation. The data sources are informants who are directly involved in implementing religious activities, namely the head of the madrasah, the Religious Development Coordinator, Teachers, and Students. Results from this research: First, the implementation of the religious formation model at MAN 1 Mojokerto uses a structural and mechanical model with the religious formation activities implemented namely carrying out congregational prayers, Tahlil, Istighosah, and Shalawatan, joint prayer, Tahfid Al-Qur'an, evening recitations, and activities to commemorate Islamic holidays. Apart from being carried out through the learning process in the subjects of Aqidah Akhlak, Fiqh, Skiing, and Al-Qur'an Hadith, religious formation is also carried out through extracurricular activities such as tahfidz, banjari, and remas (mosque youth). Second, the implications of the Islamic religious formation model for developing the character of students at MAN 1 Mojokerto include: a) The structural model has implications for strong Islamic character and exemplary educators with the emergence of religious character values, discipline and responsibility. b) The mechanical model has implications for developing attitudes of obedience and discipline, forming ethics and morals, strengthening social skills, forming a leadership spirit, and forming spiritual independence with the emergence of religious character values, honesty, discipline, hard work, tolerance, social care, friendship, feeling. curious, democratic, responsible, and independent in worship.

Abstract

Religious teacher creativity is the ability to find thoughts about new ideas in solving problems related to science, especially knowledge about Islamic religious education. Therefore, creative teachers must have an interest in finding out about the development of Islamic religious education at the moment. this and will come as an effort to increase the effectiveness of Islamic religious education. This research describes: First, to analyze the teaching creativity of teachers in learning Islamic religious education at SMP Negeri 16 Gresik. Second, to analyze the implications of the creativity of Islamic religious education teachers to improve the academic achievement of students at SMP Negeri 16 Gresik. By using qualitative research and a case study approach. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, and documentation. The data sources are informants who are directly involved in implementing the learning activities of Pai teachers and students. The results of the research that have been examined by the author are: First, the implementation of teacher teaching creativity in Islamic religious education learning at SMP Negeri 16 Gresik. Teachers utilize three learning methods, including a) The Peer Tutor Method is a cooperative learning strategy where a sense of mutual respect and understanding is fostered between students who work together, b) The Discovery Learning Method is understanding concepts, meanings, and relationships through an intuitive process to ultimately conclude, c) Problem-Based Learning is a student-centered learning strategy, which requires students to be skilled and sensitive to solving problems in the environment. Second, the implications of the creativity of Islamic religious education teachers to improve students' academic achievement at SMP Negeri 16 Gresik: a) Discovery Learning Method, b) Problem Besed Learning, c) Problem Besed Learning, from several methods used by teacher Pai, students can understand the material well so that it influences the grades obtained, their character is formed due to learning interactions and also material regarding their attitudes, manners, and behavior.
