Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh strategi pembelajaran kolaboratif berbantuan Mind Map terhadap hasil belajar siswa serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kota Ternate. Pembelajaran kolaboratif memungkinkan siswa dengan tingkat performa berbeda untuk bekerja bersama, di mana setiap siswa bertanggung jawab terhadap pembelajaran teman sekelompoknya. Mind Map digunakan sebagai media untuk membantu siswa dalam mengorganisasi dan mengembangkan pengetahuan lebih rinci. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan Pretest-Posttest control group design, melibatkan 52 siswa sebagai populasi dan 26 siswa sebagai sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 30 butir soal Biologi dan tugas untuk mengukur motivasi berprestasi siswa. Teknik analisis data meliputi analisis deskriptif, uji prasyarat analisis, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,031 (p < 0,05), yang mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran kolaboratif berbantuan Mind Map terhadap hasil belajar Biologi siswa. Rata-rata skor hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (0,083 > 0,033). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kolaboratif berbantuan Mind Map berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar Biologi siswa kelas X MIPA di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Ternate pada Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Treffinger Model in fostering creative disposition and science creative thinking skills in elementary school students through a comprehensive literature review. The study will examine various relevant literature, including scientific journals, books, and research reports, discussing the implementation and impact of the Treffinger Model in science education at the elementary school level. The analysis will focus on how the Treffinger Model can facilitate the enhancement of creative disposition, such as curiosity, openness to new experiences, and a willingness to take risks, as well as science creative thinking skills, such as the ability to ask questions, generate novel ideas, and solve problems creatively. The findings of this analysis are expected to provide valuable insights for educators and researchers in designing more effective science learning strategies to cultivate the creative potential of elementary school student

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of applying the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) approach to mechanics education to enhance problem-solving skills and creativity among students. The focus of this research is on third-semester students of the Tadris IPA study program during the 2023/2024 academic year. Using the classroom action research (CAR) method, the STEM approach was implemented through small projects and integrated experiments involving fundamental concepts of mechanics, such as kinematics and dynamics. The research was conducted in two cycles, each followed by evaluation and reflection to improve the learning process. The results showed significant improvements in both measured skills. In the first cycle, the average problem-solving skills score was 65.8, and creativity was 68.5. In the second cycle, problem-solving skills reached 85.4, while creativity improved to 88.2. These findings suggest that the application of the STEM approach in mechanics education can enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in students. This study concludes that the use of the STEM approach in mechanics education is an effective method to support the development of essential skills in higher education, particularly in the fields of science and technology.

Abstract

This article discusses the influence of social interaction and the cultural environment on the development of cognitive skills in early childhood. Literature research was conducted to explore the influence of social interactions with parents, peers, and a rich cultural environment on children's cognitive abilities. Research shows that positive social interactions and a supportive cultural environment can optimize children's cognitive development in terms of problem solving, logical thinking, and language development. This article also offers practical implications for early childhood education.

Abstract

Dengue fever (DBD) is one of the main health issues in Indonesia that requires active community involvement in its prevention. The Jentik Cilik program, initiated at SDN 4 Lendang Nangka, aims to provide education and involve elementary school students as agents of change in mosquito nest eradication (PSN). This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Jentik Cilik program and its impact on student awareness and the condition of the school environment. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the research shows that this program enhances students' understanding of PSN and results in a decrease in the mosquito larva population in the school environment. This article is expected to serve as a reference for the implementation of similar programs in other schools as part of the national dengue prevention effort.
