Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership and work motivation on employee performance at PT. Bima Sakti Logistik in East Jakarta. The method used is quantitative with an associative approach. The sampling technique used saturated sampling, namely 58 respondents. Data analysis used validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, correlation coefficients, determination coefficients and hypothesis tests. The results of this study are Leadership has a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 34.389 + 0.409X₁, obtained a determination coefficient value of 18.7% and the hypothesis test obtained a calculated t value> t table or (3.591> 1.672). Work Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance obtained by the regression equation Y = 25.929 + 0.566X₂, obtained a determination coefficient value of 27.8% and the hypothesis test obtained a calculated t value> t table or (4.641> 1.672). Leadership and work motivation simultaneously significantly influence employee performance, as shown in the regression equation Y = 12.301 + 309X₁ + 0.483X₂. The coefficient of determination, or contribution of the simultaneous influence, is 37.9%. Hypothesis testing yields a calculated F value > F table, or (16.753 > 3.165)..

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of service quality and school facilities on students' decisions in choosing SMK Wiyata Mandala in Bogor City, both partially and simultaneously. The research method used is an associative quantitative approach. The population in this study was 551 students of SMK Wiyata Mandala in Bogor City for the 2023-2024 academic year. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with the Slovin formula. A total of 85 respondents were recruited. Data analysis methods used included instrument testing consisting of validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing consisting of normality testing, multicollinearity testing, heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation testing, multiple linear regression testing, correlation coefficient testing, hypothesis testing consisting of partial t-tests and simultaneous f-tests, and coefficient of determination testing. The results of the study indicate that service quality has a positive and significant effect on student decisions with the regression equation Y = 10.479 + 0.747X₁ and a calculated t value of 10.687 which is greater than the t table of 1.989. School facilities also have a positive and significant effect on student decisions with the regression equation Y = 4.736 + 0.885X₂ and a calculated t value of 15.168 which is greater than the t table of 1.989. Simultaneously, service quality and school facilities have a positive and significant effect on student decisions with the regression equation Y = 3.114 + 0.228X₁ + 0.697X₂ and a calculated F value of 126.877 which is greater than the F table of 3.10. The R-square value (coefficient of determination) was 0.756, indicating that service quality and school facilities collectively contributed 75.6% to student decision-making, while the remaining 24.4% was influenced by other factors not examined. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that improving service quality, and particularly school facilities, is a crucial strategy for SMK Wiyata Mandala, Bogor City, to increase student interest and decision-making.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Product Quality, Brand Image, and After-Sales Service on Repurchase Intention among customers of PT NORD Drivesystems Indonesia. This research employed a quantitative method. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with a total sample of 85 customers of PT NORD Drivesystems Indonesia. Data analysis techniques included validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing. The results show that Product Quality has a significant effect on Repurchase Intention with a coefficient of determination of 22.5%, and the hypothesis test indicates that t-count > t-table (4.234 > 1.989). Brand Image also has a significant effect on Repurchase Intention with a coefficient of determination of 45.9%, and the hypothesis test shows that t-count > t-table (5.172 > 1.989). After-Sales Service has a significant effect on Repurchase Intention with a coefficient of determination of 42.8%, and the hypothesis test shows that t-count > t-table (4.924 > 1.989). Simultaneously, Product Quality, Brand Image, and After-Sales Service have a significant effect on Repurchase Intention, as indicated by the regression equation Y = 11.107 + 0.008X₁ + 0.394X₂ + 0.343X₃. The coefficient of determination is 52.9%, while the remaining 47.1% is influenced by other factors. The hypothesis test shows that F-count > F-table (30.326 > 2.720).

Abstract

To determine the influence of Social Media and Word of mouth partially and simultaneously on Repurchase Intention at the Wika Haircut & Shave Barbershop in Depok. The research used a quantitative method, a population of 4,760 customers in 2024 with a sampling technique using Taro Yamane 10%, so the sample was 98 respondents. It can be concluded that the results of the calculation of the t-test value of the Social Media variable (X1) with a t count of 5.333 and a significance of 0.000. Because the t count is greater than the t table (5.333> 1.984) and the significance is less than 5%, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, it can be stated that Social Media (X1) has a significant effect on Repurchase Intention (Y). There are results of the calculation of the t-test value of the Word of mouth variable (X2) with a t count of 6.828 and a significance of 0.000. Because t count is greater than t table (6.828 > 1.984) and significance is less than 5% (0.000) then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, it can be stated that Word of mouth (X2) has a significant effect on Repurchase Intention (Y). Based on the results of the analysis on the ANOVA test, the F count value is 75.688 while F table ( 0.05) for n = 95 is 2.70. So F count > from F table ( 0.05) or 75.688 > 2.70, with a significant level of 0.000 because 0.000 < 0.05, it can be said that Social Media (X1), Word of mouth (X2) and together have an effect on Repurchase Intention (Y).

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the financial health and predict the bankruptcy potential of PT Sepatu Bata Tbk based on financial ratios using the Altman Z-Score method during the 2014–2024 period. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach using secondary data in the form of the company’s audited annual financial statements. The analysis is conducted by calculating five financial ratios that form the Altman Z-Score model, namely Working Capital to Total Assets, Retained Earnings to Total Assets, Earnings Before Interest and Taxes to Total Assets, Market Value of Equity to Total Liabilities, and Sales to Total Assets. The results show that the Z-Score of PT Sepatu Bata Tbk has a minimum value of −0.42, a maximum value of 6.18, an average of 3.62, and a standard deviation of 2.16. Periodically the company was in a non-distress condition during 2014–2019, entered the grey zone in 2020 and 2022, and experienced financial distress in 2023 and 2024. These conditions indicate that PT Sepatu Bata Tbk faces an increasing risk of bankruptcy at the end of the observation period.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the financial health level of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk during the 2014–2024 period using the CAMEL method, which includes the aspects of Capital, Asset Quality, Earnings, and Liquidity. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach utilizing secondary data derived from the published annual financial statements of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk throughout the research period. The analysis was conducted by calculating financial ratios based on the CAMEL method and assessing the bank’s health level using the composite CAMEL score. The results indicate that the financial health of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk was categorized as less healthy during 2014–2015, improved to moderately healthy in 2016, and experienced pressure again during 2017–2020. However, from 2021 to 2023, the bank showed significant improvement and was classified as moderately healthy. The improvement in financial health was primarily supported by strengthened capital and improved asset quality, which contributed significantly to the CAMEL score. Meanwhile, the Earnings aspect remained the main weakness due to the bank’s limited ability to generate profits, although its liquidity condition remained very strong. Overall, the CAMEL method proved effective in providing a comprehensive assessment of the financial health and stability of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk during the research period

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Environment and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at PT Putra Langgeng Perkasa, South Tangerang, both partially and simultaneously. The research employed a quantitative method. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, resulting in a total sample of 112 respondents.Data analysis techniques included validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with the regression equation Y = 43.454 + 0.126X₁. The correlation coefficient obtained was 0.409, indicating a moderate relationship between the two variables. The coefficient of determination was 4.5%. Hypothesis testing showed that t₍count₎ > t₍table₎ (2.495 > 1.982); therefore, H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted, indicating a significant effect of the work environment on employee performance. Furthermore, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with the regression equation Y = 39.375 + 0.212X₂. The correlation coefficient was 0.874, indicating a very strong relationship between the variables. The coefficient of determination was 72.9%. Hypothesis testing results showed t₍count₎ > t₍table₎ (17.325 > 1.982); thus, H₀ was rejected and H₂ was accepted, indicating a significant effect of work discipline on employee performance. Simultaneously, work environment and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by the regression equation Y = 35.288 + 0.115X₁ + 0.211X₂. The correlation coefficient obtained was 0.881, indicating a very strong relationship between the variables. The coefficient of determination was 77.3%. Hypothesis testing showed F₍count₎ > F₍table₎ (141.256 > 3.130); therefore, H₀ was rejected and H₃ was accepted, indicating that environment and work discipline simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the effect of Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Quick Ratio (QR) on the share price of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbkfor the 2014-2023 period. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The data used is secondary data in the form of the company's annual financial statements obtained from the company's official website and the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS V25 program, which included classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation tests), hypothesis tests (t tests and F tests), and determination coefficient tests (R²). The results of the study show that the Net Profit Margin (NPM) variable partially NPM has a positive and very significant effect on the stock price, as evidenced by the t-test with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 and a t-calculation value of 6.023 > t-table of 2.365, then the decision is that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Then the Quick Ratio (QR) variable partially QR does not have a significant effect on the stock price is proven by the t-test with the result of a significance value of 0.691 > 0.05 and a t-calculation value of 0.414 < t-table of 2.365. Thus, the decision is that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. Net Profit Margin and Quick Ratio together (simultaneously) have a significant effect on the stock price by finding if the significance value is 0.002 < 0.05 and the value of Fcal is 18.168 > of Ftable (4.74), then the result is that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. A determination coefficient value (R²) of 0.838 or 83.8% indicates that NPM and QR are able to explain 83.8% of stock price variations, while the remaining 16.2% are explained by other variables outside the study.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the perceptions of employees at the Human Resources Unit of the AUK Bureau of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta regarding the meaning and concept of transformational leadership as well as how well it is implemented in improving work motivation. Transformational leadership is considered an important leadership style in organizations because it can provide inspiration, motivation, and positive changes for employees. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach to explore the experiences and perspectives of informants in depth. Data collection techniques were conducted through observations and interviews. Data analysis was carried out using NVivo software to facilitate the process of systematic data processing and interpretation. The results of this study indicate that the concept and characteristics of transformational leadership, according to the informants, refer to a leadership style that is able to motivate, inspire, provide support, and give clear direction, thereby encouraging employees to improve their capabilities and overall quality in accordance with the organizational vision. In its implementation, leadership in the Human Resources Unit of the AUK Bureau has applied a transformational leadership style that plays a role in increasing employee work motivation. Therefore, transformational leadership plays an important role in creating a more productive work environment and supporting the achievement of organizational goals.

This study aims to determine the effect of communication and work discipline on employee performance. The research method used is a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population in this study were all employees, with a sampling technique using the census method so that the number of samples used was 50 respondents. Data analysis methods used include validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, simple and multiple linear regressions, correlation coefficient tests, coefficients of determination, and hypothesis tests. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis with hypothesis testing through t-tests and F-tests. The results of the study showed that communication had a significant effect on employee performance with a correlation coefficient of 0.687 indicating a strong relationship, and a determination coefficient of 52.2%. Work discipline had a significant effect on employee performance with a correlation coefficient of 0.637 indicating a strong relationship, and a determination coefficient of 64.4%. Communication and work discipline simultaneously significantly influence employee performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.637, indicating a strong relationship, and a determination coefficient of 64.4% Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability.
