Abstract

Cognitive learning outcomes are the student's ability to understand a concept expressed in a score through a test. Cognitive learning outcomes are important learning outcomes as the basis for mastery of other abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the cognitive learning outcomes of class XI IPA 2 students on the material of the human respiratory system. The research method used is a qualitative method using an instrument in the form of a multiple choice written test. The research was conducted on March 22, 2021. The subjects of this study were class XI IPA 2 with a total of 30 students. The data obtained is the result of students' cognitive learning on the material of the human respiratory system. The results obtained by an average value on the material of the human respiratory system are 27% of students in category A, 17% in category B, 30% with C criteria and 26% with D criteria. thus providing the achievement of better cognitive learning outcomes, the obstacle is the lack of direct interaction between educators and students. Abstrak. Hasil belajar kognitif merupakan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami suatu konsep yang di nyatakan dalam sebuah skor melalui tes. Hasil belajar kognitif merupakan hasil belajar yang penting sebagai dasar penguasaan kemampuan lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas XI IPA 2 pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa tes tertulis pilihan ganda. Penelitian di lakukan pada 22 Maret 2021. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 2 dengan jumlah sebanyak 30 siswa. Data yang di peroleh merupakan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia. Hasil yang di peroleh rata-rata nilai pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia yaitu 27% peserta didik berkategori A, 17% berkategori B, 30% berkriteria C dan 26% berkriteria D. Penggunaan metode Blended learning membantu peserta didik dalam menambah pengetahuan yang lebih luas, namun kendalanya adalah kurangnya interaksi secara langsung antara pendidik dan peserta didik.

Abstract

This research aims to see the effect of learning carried out by implementing digital literacy-based learning and conventional learning activities on the intelligence of class VIII students. In this study, taking a sample of 2 different classes in SMP Negeri 15 Sukabumi City with eighth grade students, it can be said that 20 people as the experimental class and seventh grade students can be measured 17 as the control class. Collecting research data using an emotional intelligence questionnaire instrument. Analysis of research data using inferential statistics in the form of paired sample T test. Prior to the hypothesis data, the prerequisite test data used the normality and homogeneity test to test the indicators and the distribution of the research data taken. The results showed that there were differences in the scores of students' intelligence using regulated and conventional independent learning. The group of students with the application of self-regulated learning based on digital literacy has a significant hypothesis test (2 tailed) 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is an average difference between the pretest and posttest results, while conventional learning does not show an average difference because of the results. 0.163> 0.05. Based on this research, that the application of learning, self-regulated learning based on digital literacy affects the emotional intelligence of class VIII C students at SMP Negeri 15 Sukabumi City. Abstrak. Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan penerapan self-ragulated learning berbasis literasi digital dan kegiatan belajar secara konvensional terhadap kecerdasan emosional siswa kelas VIII. Pada penilitian ini mengambil sampel 2 kelas yang berbeda di SMP Negeri 15 Kota Sukabumi dengan siswa kelas VIII C berjumlah 20 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VIII H berjumlah 17 sebagai kelas kontrol Mrtode penelitian menggunakaan metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data penelitian dengan menggunakan instrumen angket kecerdasan emosional. Data penelitian di analisis dengan menggunakan statistic inferensial berupa uji T paired sample test. Sebelum pengujian data hipotesis data di uji prasayarat dengan menggunaan uji normalitas serta homogenitas untuk mengetahui varian dan sebaran data penelitian yang di ambil. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata terhadap kecerdasan emosional siswa dengan menggunakan penerapan belajar self regulated learning  dan konvensional. Kelompok siswa dengan penerapan self regulated learning  berbasis literasi digital memiliki hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan siginifikan (2 tailed) 0,000 < 0.05 yang artinya ada perbedaan rata-rata dari hasil pretest dan posttest sedangkan pembelajaran secara konvensional tidak menunjukan adanya perbedaan rata-rata karena hasilnya 0,163 > 0,05. Berdasarkan penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran self regulated learning  berbasis literasi digital berpengaruh terhadap kecerdasan emosional siswa kelas VIII C di SMP Negeri 15 Kota sukabumi.

Abstract

This research is an ex post facto type. Aim to: analyze the effect of self-regulated learning and self-efficacy on the academic achievement of students of the Biology Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. The population in this study were all students of the Biology Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. The research sample of 46 students was obtained using purposive sampling technique. The variables studied consisted of two independent variables, namely self-efficacy (x1) and self-regulated learning (x2) and one dependent variable, namely academic achievement (y). Data collection techniques through questionnaires to obtain self-regulated learning and self-efficacy data, for academic achievement data obtained through documentation techniques. The results of data analysis indicate that the correlation between self-efficacy and self-regulated learning and academic achievement has a very strong relationship. It can be concluded that self efficacy and self regulated learning play an important role in student academic achievement. Students who have high self-efficacy and self-regulated learning will be able to adapt well to academic activities in fairly dense tertiary institutions. So that it will help students to achieve brilliant academic achievements. Abstrak. Mahasiswa secara mandiri memantau perkembangan kegiatan akademiknya, seperti nilai-nilai dari mata kuliah dan tugas yang diberikan. Mahasiswa yang mampu beradaptasi secara cepat dengan proses pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi tentu akan dapat menjalani aktivitas akademik yang cukup padat dengan baik. Untuk itu mahasiswa perlu memiliki self regulated learning dan self efficacy yang baik. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis  pengaruh  self regulated learning dan self efficacy terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar.  Penelitian ini berjenis ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis data yang menunjukkan bahwa korelasi antara self efficacy dan self regulated learning dengan prestasi akademik memiliki hubungan yang sangat kuat. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa self efficacy dan self regulated learning  berperan penting terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa. Mahasiswa yang memiliki self efficacy dan self regulated learning yang tinggi akan mampu beradaptasi dengan baik dalam kegiatan akademik di perguruan tinggi yang cukup padat. Sehingga hal tersebut akan membantu mahasiswa untuk meraih prestasi akademik yang gemilang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the obstacles to online learning at SMP Negeri 1 Bayung Lencir during the Covid-19 pandemic in science subjects. Changes in learning methods that were originally carried out face-to-face to online learning experienced several obstacles starting an unstable internet network, an inadequate internet quota so that students' lack of understanding of the subject matter provided. This type of research is a descriptive survey research with a qualitative approach, the data of this study were obtained from students of class VIII and IX. The data collection technique in this study was a questionnaire while the instrument used in this study was an online questionnaire distributed through the WhatsApps application. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis. The results showed that the constraints most experienced by the students of SMP Negeri 1 Bayung Lencir were the lack of internet quota and an unstable internet network. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kendala pembelajaran online di SMP Negeri 1 Bayung Lencir selama pandemi Covid-19 pada mata pelajaran IPA. Perubahan metode pembelajaran yang semula dilakukan secara tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran online mengalami beberapa kendala memulai jaringan internet yang kurang stabil, kuota internet yang kurang memadai sehingga kurangnya pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi pelajaran yang diberikan. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian survey deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, data penelitian ini diperoleh dari siswa kelas VIII dan IX. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah angket (kuesioner) sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah angket (kuesioner) online yang disebarkan melalui aplikasi WhatsApps. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kendala yang paling banyak dirasakan oleh peserta didik SMP Negeri 1 Bayung Lencir adalah kendala kurangnya kuota internet dan jaringan internet yang tidak stabil.

Abstract

Practicum Activity Design is very useful for students when carrying out practicum. The design can stimulate the formation of a concept that has previously been obtained. This study aims to analyze several laboratory activity designs, then conduct trials and reconstruct Practicum Activity Design which refers to the 2013 curriculum. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The sample used in this study as many as nine Practicum Activity Design cladograms selected using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used is the analysis section relevance, competence, construction of knowledge and practical analysis that has been in judgment by experts. The results showed that the relevance aspect already refers to KD, namely the preparation of a cladogram based on the principle of classification. But in some other aspects it has drawbacks. These deficiencies include unclear tools and materials, unclear working procedures, difficult data interpretation processes. So that it does not help students construct knowledge of concepts, principles and theories from the facts that have been obtained. Based on these problems, the DKL cladogram needs to be reconstructed from its relevance, competence, knowledge construction and practical analysis. Abstrak. Desain Kegiatan Praktikum sangat bermanfaat untuk peserta didik ketika melaksanakan praktikum. Desain tersebut dapat menstimulasi pembentukan konsep yang sebelumnya telah diperoleh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beberapa Desain Kegiatan Laboratorium lalu lemakukan ujucoba serta merekonstruksi desain yang mengacu pada kurikulum 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunankan pada penelitian ini sebanyak sembilan DKL kladogram yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah rubrik analisis relevansi, kompetensi, konstruksi pengetahuan dan analisis praktikal yang telah di judgment oleh ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek relevansi sudah mengacu kepada KD yaitu penyusunan suatu kladogram berdasarkan prinsip klasifikasi. Tetapi pada beberapa aspek lain memiliki kekurangan. Kekurangan tersebut seperti alat dan bahan yang tidak jelas, prosedur pengerjaan yang tidak jelas, proses interpretasi data yang sukar dikerjakan. Sehingga belum membantu peserta didik mengkonstruksi pengetauan konsep, prinsip dan teori dari fakta yang telah diperoleh. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, DKL kladogram perlu untuk dilakukan rekonstruksi dari relevansi, kompetensi, konstruksi pengetahuan dan analisis praktikalnya.

Abstract

Experiment method is suitable learning method for biology’s learning. Experiment method requires a guide in the form of student worksheets, so the experiment method can be implemented and in accordance with the objectives of learning. This research seeks to (1) obtain an overview concerning the suitability of practicum objectives stated in DKL with the basic competences stated in the curriculum, (2) obtain an overview concerning the suitability of practicum objectives with steps in DKL, (3) obtain an overview concerning the practicum objectives, concepts/principles, in DKL, (4) find out whether the steps in DKL guide students to perform knowledge construction. This research implemented descriptive qualitative method with ANCORB stages, consisting of (1) Analysis, (2) Trial, and (3) Reconstruction. The analysis was carried out by paying attention to conceptual, practical, and knowledge construction aspects. The research object consisted of 8 LKPDs on genetics buttons practicum sourced from various books made by teachers, selected through purposive sampling. The research results revealed that those LKPDs are not feasible to use, do not meet the ideal score, and do not meet the criteria stated on diagram fee. Abstrak. Metode praktikum merupakan metode belajar yang sangat tepat untuk pembelajaran biologi. Dalam praktikum biologi diperlukan panduan berupa lembar kerja peserta didik agar praktikum dapat dilaksanakan dan sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) memperoleh gambaran mengenai kesesuaian tujuan praktikum yang terdapat pada DKL dengan kompetensi dasar pada kurikulum, (2) mengetahui gambaran kesesuaian antara tujuan praktikum dengan langkah-langkah pada DKL, (3) mengetahui gambaran mengenai tujuan praktikum prinsip/konsep pada DKL, (4) untuk mengetahui apakah langkah-langkah pada DKL sudah dapat mengarahkan siswa terhadap kontruksi pengetahuan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan tahapan ANCORB, yaitu (1) Analisis, (2) Uji Coba, (3) Rekontruksi.  Analisis dilakukan dengan memperhatikan 3 aspek, yaitu aspek konseptual, aspek praktikal dan aspek kontruksi pengetahuan. Objek penelitian menggunakan 8 LKPD mengenai praktikum kancing genetika yang berasal dari berbagai buku dan yang dibuat oleh guru disekolah yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan terhadap 8 LKPD belum layak digunakan dan tidak memenuhi skor ideal dan belum memenuhi kriteria pada diagram fee.

Abstract

Student worksheets as guide for implementation of the practicum process to improve the skills of students. but, in reality this is not case. This study aims to analyse and describe aspesct of relevance, curriculum, practical and knowledge construction on student worksheets used in second from the curriculum 1984 to curricullum 2013 revision as well as to reconstructs the LKPD components. The research method is descriptive qualitative ANCOR model. The research samples was take by using purposive sampling technique with 7 LKPD. The research instrument used was the analysis of relevance, competence, practically and knowledge construction which was adapted from Novak & Gowin (1984). The results showed that the LKPD on the concept of the digestive system in the 1994, 2006, 2013, 2013 revision curriculum had several components that had to be reconstructed, besides that the development of LKPD content did not change according to curriculum development, this practicum had been carried out in junior high schools. Therefore, it is necessary to improve LKPD in the concept of the food digestive system. The components that are repaired: Activity objectives, theoretical basis, tools and materials, work steps, data recording and practical question, this improvement is expected to provide an understanding in accordance with the demands of the current curriculum, namely the 2013 curiculum, providing a more meaningful practicum, besides that, students are able to increase minds on and hands on abilities in practicum activities to face the era of industrial revolution 4.0. Abstrak. Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik sebagai penuntun proses pelaksanaan praktikum untuk meningkatkan keterampilan peserta didik. Namun pada kenyataanya tidak demikian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisian mendeskripsikan aspek relevansi, kurikulum, praktikal dan konstruksi pengetahuan pada lembar kerja peserta didik yang digunakan di sekolah dari kurikulum tahun 1984 sampai erta merekontruksi komponen LKPD. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif model ANCOR. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling LKPD berjumlah 7 buah. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu analisis relevansi, kompetensi, praktikal dan konstruksi pengetahuan yang diadaptasi dari Novak & Gowin (1984). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan LKPD pada konsep sistem pencernaan pada kurikulum tahun 1994, 2006, 2013, 2013 revisi memiliki beberapa komponen yang harus direkontruksi, selain itu perkembangan konten LKPD tidak berubah sesuai perkembangan kurikulum, praktikum tersebut pernah dilakukan di SMP. Oleh karena itu diperlukan perbaikan LKPD pada konsep sistem pencernaan makanan. Adapun komponen yang diperbaiki antara lain : tujuan kegiatan, dasar teori, alat dan bahan, langkah kerja, perekaman data dan pertanyaan praktikan, perbaikan ini diharapkan memberikan pemahaman yang sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013 revisi, memberikan praktikum yang lebih bermakna, selain itu supaya peserta didik mampu meningkatkan kemampuan minds on dan hands on dalam kegiatan praktikum untuk menghadapi era revolusi industri 4.0.

Abstract

Practical activities are known to be able to develop 21st century skills and higher-order thinking skills to solve various problems but the existing student worksheets as supporting material are not yet optimal. The purpose of this study was to analyze and to reconstruct biodiversity student worksheet. The research method is descriptive quantitative with the ANCOR (Analysis-Try-Reconstruction) model. The analysis process is based on aspects of curriculum relevance, competence and knowledge construction. Then a trial was conducted on one of the student worksheets. The findings from the analyzes and trials formed the basis for reconstructing the biodiversity student worksheets. The results showed that the existing student worksheets had not yet developed higher-order thinking skills, the title / goal had not focused on the main things related to the object and the lack of concepts formed. The results of the reconstruction of student worksheets include the addition of tools and materials, table revisions, and discuss questions that can develop higher-order thinking skills. Abstrak. Kegiatan praktikum diketahui mampu mengembangkan keterampilan abad 21 dan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi agar bisa menyelesaikan permasalahan keanekaragaman hayati namun LKPD yang ada sebagai penunjang praktikum belum optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dan merekonstruksi LKPD materi keanekaragaman hayati. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan model ANCOR (Analisi-Coba-Rekonstruksi). Proses analisis berdasarkan aspek relevansi kurikulum, kompetensi dan konstruksi pengetahuan. Lalu dilakukan uji coba pada salah satu LKPD. Temuan dari analisis dan uji coba menjadi dasar rekonstruksi LKPD keanekaragaman hayati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD yang ada masih belum mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi, judul/tujuan belum fokus terhadap hal utama yang berkaitan dengan objek dan masih minimnya konsep yang terbentuk. Hasil rekonstruksi LKPD terdapat penambahan alat dan bahan, revisi tabel pengamatan dan pertanyaan diskusi yang dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi.

Abstract

Performance appraisal is an appraisal based on observations of assessments of student activities as they occur. Assessment is done with the performance, behavior or interaction of students. The development of performance assessment instruments (Performent Assessment) is expected to actively involve students in the learning process. The students will certainly feel motivated in showing their performance, because so far their performance has rarely been assessed, so that their minds are no longer just what needs to be learned, but have improved on what needs to be done. Type This study uses research and development (Research and Development), because it matches the objectives to be achieved. While the research development model chosen is the ADDIE model. Expert validation is carried out by the learning design validator, and the material validator. Practitioner validation is carried out by high school biology teachers. The research subjects were students of SMA N 5 Muaro Jambi class XI IPA, with a total of 6 people for small group trials and 20 people for large group trials. The results of the analysis were obtained that the instruments developed were very helpful for teachers in making assessments when practicum and instruments were suitable for use. Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatar belakang pentingnya penilaian saat praktikum, biasanya penilaian dilakukan hanya pada laporan paktikum saja, bukan pada setiap proses yang terjadi saat praktikum. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui tahapan pengembangan instrumen penilaian kinerja praktikum pada materi sel sebagai unit terkecil kehidupan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development), Sedangkan Model  pengembangan yang digunakan mengadopsi model ADDIE dengan lima tahapan, yaitu: Analisisa (Analysis), Perancangan (Design), Pengembangan (Development), Implementasi (Implementasi), dan Evaluasi (Evaluate). Data kualitatif diperoleh dari saran-saran validator ahli desain instrumen dan ahli materi. Hasil pengembangan validasi ahli desain instrumen diperoleh dengan skor akhir 73,3% dengan kategori layak. Sedangkan validasi ahli materi diperoleh skor 74,7% dengan kategori layak,  dan respon guru sebagai pengguna instrumen diperoleh skor 80% dengan kategori baik, sehingga dapat disimpulkan instrumen penilaian kinerja praktikum pada materi sel sebagai unit terkecil kehidupan layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

It is certain that the Industrial Revolution 5.0 has entered the world of education, so this Industrial Revolution 5.0 is a challenge for the quality of education in Indonesia. One way to improve the quality of education is practicum activities using Laboratory Activity Designs (LAD) that are in accordance with the demands of the curriculum. This study aims to provide an overview of the quality of blood structure LAD in high school and reconstruct it to improve strudents’understanding. This research is a descriptive study and the subject of this research is blood structure LAD. The sampling technique that used is purposive sampling with a total sample of 6 LAD, consisting of 2 LAD from 2006 curriculum or KTSP, 2 LAD from 2013 curriculum, and 2 LAD from 2013 revised 2016 curriculum. The instruments that used are relevance analysis instruments, competency analysis and practical analysis, and knowledge construction analysis. The findings showed that the blood structure LAD was not good yet because there were still problems with competence, practice and knowledge construction. The solution to this problem is to improve the existing LAD and consider it based on the relevant aspects of competency, practicality and knowledge construction. Abstrak. Revolusi Industri 5.0 dapat dipastikan telah memasuki dunia pendidikan, maka revolusi indeustri ke-5 ini menjadi tantangan bagi kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yaitu dengan kegiatan praktikum menggunakan Desain Kegiatan Laboratorium (DKL) yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai kualitas DKL struktur darah dan mereonstruksinya guna meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dan subjek penelitian ini adalah DKL struktur darah. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dengan total sampel sebanyak 6 DKL, terdiri dari 2 DKL kurikulum 2006 atau KTSP, 2 DKL kurikulum 2013 dan 2 DKL kurikulum 2013 revisi 2016. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi instrumen analisis relevansi, analisis kompetensi dan analisis praktikal serta analisis konstruksi pengetahuan. Hasil temuan menunjukkan DKL struktur darah belum baik karena masih terdapat masalah pada aspek kompetensi, praktikal dan konstruksi pengetahuan. Solusi untuk permasalahan ini adalah memperbaiki DKL yang ada dengan pertimbangan aspek relevansi, kompetensi, praktikal dan konstruksi pengetahuan.
