Abstract

This research is motivated by the low scientific literacy skills in Indonesia based on the results of the 2015 PISA survey and the limitations of teachers in measuring students' scientific literacy skills so that they have not been developed optimally. The purpose of this study is to develop and determine the level of feasibility of the Two-Tier Multiple Choice test evaluation instrument based on scientific literacy on the theme of acid rain. The research method used is the research and development method with the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate) which in the development process is only at the Analyze, Design, Development, and Evaluate stages. The results of research and development in the form of a Two-Tier Multiple Choice test evaluation instrument based on scientific literacy on the theme of acid rain indicate that the product developed is very feasible based on assessments by material experts, evaluation experts, and three teachers with a total of 40 questions and gets a score the average is 97% based on material experts, 96% based on evaluation experts, 98% based on science teachers 1, 78% based on science teachers 2, and 99.8% based on science teachers 3. very feasible category with the overall average score of the validation has a percentage of 95%. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan literasi sains di Indonesia berdasarkan hasil survey PISA tahun 2015 dan keterbatasan guru dalam mengukur kemampuan literasi sains siwa sehingga belum dikembangkan secara optimal. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan serta mengetahui tingkat kelayakan instrumen evaluasi tes Two-Tier Multiple Choice berbasis literasi sains pada tema hujan asam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate) yang dalam proses pengembangannya hanya pada tahapan Analyze, Design, Development, dan Evaluate. Hasil dari penelitian dan pengembangan berupa instrumen evaluasi tes Two-Tier Multiple Choice berbasis literasi sains pada tema hujan asam menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan sangat layak berdasarkan penilaian oleh ahli materi, ahli evaluasi, dan tiga guru dengan jumlah soal sebanyak 40 butir soal dan mendapat skor rata-rata yaitu 97% berdasarkan ahli materi, 96% berdasarkan ahli evaluasi, 98% berdasarkan guru IPA 1, 78% berdasarkan guru IPA 2, dan 99,8% berdasarkan guru IPA 3. Kesimpulannya, dari 40 soal yang dikembangkan keseluruhan berada dalam kategori sangat layak dengan skor rata-rata keseluruhan validasi memiliki persentase sebesar 95%. Abstract

This research was conducted because there are still many students who have low critical thinking skills. This is supported by interviews conducted by researchers to 3 junior high school science teachers. One of the factors that lead to low critical thinking skills is the provision of test instruments in the form of questions that are not optimal, one form of test is a description test. The description test requires students to answer questions in the description, explanation or description in their own words and language, so that their thinking skills develop. The aims of the research were to develop and determine the feasibility of a critical thinking ability test instrument for class VIII students on the theme of my food, my health. This development research uses the Borg and Gall with the following research steps; potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and design revision. The results of this study were in the form of a test instrument in the form of a description or essay test based on critical thinking skills. The description questions developed were 28 items which were validated by science experts and teachers. The average score for validation by material experts is 69%, construction experts 77%, linguists 70%, and the overall average score for science teachers is 76.6%. Therefore, the critical thinking ability test instrument developed was included in the appropriate category with an overall average score of 74% for validation. Key words: essai test, critical thinking skill Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukankarena masih banyak ditemukan siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah. Hal tersebut didukung oleh wawancara yang dilakukan peneliti ke 3 guru IPA SMP. Salah satu faktor yang mengakibatkan rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis ialah pemberian instrumen tes berupa soal yang belum optimal, salah satu bentuk tes adalah tes uraian. Tes uraian menuntut siswa menjawab pertanyaan dalam deskripsi, penjelasan atau uraian dengan kata-kata dan bahasa sendiri, sehingga kemampuan berpikirnya berkembang. Tujuan penelitian diataranya, untuk mengembangkan serta mengetahui kelayakan instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII pada tema maakananku kesehatanku. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model Borg and Gall dengan langkah-langkah penelitian sebagai berikut; potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, dan revisi desain. Hasil penelitian ini berupa instrumen tes berbentuk tes uraian atau esai yang berbasis kemampuan berpikir kritis. Soal uraian yang dikembangkan berjumlah 28 butir soal yang divalidasi oleh ahli dan guru IPA. Skor rata-rata validasi oleh ahli materi adalah 69%, ahli konstruksi 77%, ahli bahasa 70%, dan skor rata keseluruhan guru IPA 76,6 %. Oleh karena itu, instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kritis yang dikembangkan  termasukkategori layak dengan persentase skor rata-rata keseluruhan validasi yaitu 74%. Abstract

Measurement of students' creative thinking skills is needed to be able to understand the development of students' creativity and assist teachers in determining the learning model that will be used in order to stimulate students' creative thinking skills. This research is a type of descriptive research that will describe the level of creative thinking skills of students. The purpose of this study was to determine the creative thinking skills of students at SMAN 1 Pariman. The population in the study were all students of class X at SMAN 1 Pariaman in the academic year 2021/2022. The sample was determined using a simple random sampling technique. The instrument used is an observation questionnaire that has been validated. Data analysis in the form of descriptive analysis. The results showed that the creative thinking skills of students were still very low, this was indicated by the percentage gain at the creative thinking skill level T1 (very low) as much as 48.2%, T2 (low) as much as 27.4%, T3 (medium) 12, 9%, T4 (high) 6.7%, and T5 (very high) 4.7%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the creative thinking ability of students is included in the very low category. Key words: Creative Thinking Skills, biology Abstrak Pengukuran keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik diperlukan untuk dapat memahami perkembangan kreativitas peserta didik dan membantu guru dalam menentukan model pembelajaran yang akan digunakan agar dapat menstimulasi keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif yang akan menggambarkan tingkat keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di SMAN 1 Pariman. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X di SMAN 1 Pariaman tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket observasi yang telah divalidasi. Analisis data berupa analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik masih sangat rendah, hal ini ditunjukkan dari perolehan persentase pada tingkatan keterampilan berpikir kreatif T1 (sangat rendah) sebanyak 48,2%, T2 (rendah) sebanyak 27,4%, T3 (sedang) 12,9%, T4 (tinggi) sebanyak 6,7%, dan T5 (sangat tinggi) sebanyak 4,7%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik termasuk dalam kategori sangat rendah. Kata kunci: Keterampilan berpikir kreatif, biology

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using macromedia flash in the distance lectures for students of the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP University of Riau in 2021. This media application was applied to learning low-level plant systematics (STR) courses. The research was conducted at the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP Riau University, in the even semester of 2021. The object of the research was 35 students of Class A lectures on low-level plant systematics. The research was conducted using the classroom action method, namely applying macromedia flash learning media. The lecture period is divided into 2 rounds where the first round is learning without using macromedia flash media and the second round using macromedia flash. The indicators set in the form of student learning outcomes during lectures and student responses to the use of macromedia flash. The conclusion of the study is that the use of macromedia flash can improve student learning outcomes with an effectiveness ratio of 83% and is considered effective in terms of learning outcomes. Student responses to the application of macromedia flash media are classified as good with a percentage of 79.91%. Key words: Macromedia flash, Low Plant Systematics, Effectiveness   Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas Penggunaan macromedia flash pada perkuliahan jarak jauh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan biologi FKIP Univeristas Riau tahun 2021. Aplikasi media ini diterapkan pada pembelajaran mata kuliah sistematika tumbuhan tingkat rendah (STR). Penelitian dilakukan di program studi pendidikan biologi FKIP Universitas Riau pada semester genap tahun 2021. Objek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Kelas A oerkuliahan sistematika tumbuhan tingkat rendah sebanyak 35 orang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode tindakan kelas yaitu menerapkan media pembelajaran macromedia flash. Masa perkuliahan dibagi dalam 2 putaran dimana putaran pertama adalah pembelajaran tanpa penggunaan media macromedia flash dan putaran kedua dengan menggunakan macromedia flash. Indikator yang ditetapkan berupa hasil belajar mahasiswa selama perkuliahan serta respon mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan macromedia flash.. Kesimpulan dari Penelitian diketahui  bahwa penggunaan macromedia flash dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan rasio efektivitas 83% dan tergolong efektif dari segi hasil pembelajaran. Respon mahasiswa terhadap penerapan media macromedia flash tergolong baik dengan presentase 79.91%. Kata kunci: Macromedia flash, Sistematika Tumbuhan Rendah, Efektivitas

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop, analyze the feasibility and analyze the responses of teachers and students to the developed product. This study uses the ADDIE development model. The test subjects in this study were one teacher and ten students of class X MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Sekampung Udik. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results of product validation by material experts were carried out three times, obtained a percentage score of 94% (Very valid), while the results of module expert validation were carried out twice, obtained a percentage score of 94% (Very valid). The results of the teacher's response obtained a percentage score of 80% (Very valid) and the results of student responses obtained a percentage score of 71.25% (Valid). Based on the results of the feasibility assessment, the average percentage score was 84.8%, so it can be concluded that the Pteridophyta module product developed is very suitable for use in Biology learning. Key words: Learning resources, Module, Pteridophyta Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan, menganalisis kelayakan dan menganalisis respon guru dan siswa terhadap produk yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek ujicoba pada penelitian ini yaitu satu orang guru dan sepuluh orang siswa kelas X MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Sekampung Udik. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil validasi produk oleh ahli materi dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali, diperoleh persentase skor 94% (Sangat valid), sedangkan hasil validasi ahli modul dilakukan sebanyak dua kali, diperoleh persentase skor 94% (Sangat valid). Hasil respon guru diperoleh persentase skor 80% (Sangat valid) dan hasil respon siswa diperoleh persentase skor 71,25% (Valid). Berdasarkan hasil penilaian kelayakan diperoleh persentase rata-rata skor sebesar 84,8%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk modul Pteridophyta yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran Biologi. Abstract

The quality of science learning in the science field is still low. This study aims to determine the effect of the scientific approach on students' communication skills and understanding of concepts related to pollution materials. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest design with only control groups. The study population consisted of all seventh-grade students at the SMP Negeri 9 Buton enrolled in the even-numbered semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The study sample consisted of 45 students. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. A multiple-choice test served as an instrument for examining the communication skills and understanding of the students' concepts. Research data is analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results showed that a scientific approach had a positive and significant impact on students' communication skills and understanding of pollution concepts. Key words: Scientific approach, Communication skills, Understanding of concept Abstrak Mutu pembelajaran IPA pada bidang sains masih rendah.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan saintifik terhadap keterampilan komunikasi dan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain pretes-postest only control group design.  Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Buton yang terdaftar pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2021/2022.  Sampel penelitian berjumlah 45 siswa.  Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah simple random sampling.  Instrument penelitian keterampilan komunikasi dan pemahaman konsep siswa yang digunakan berupa tes dalam bentuk pilihan ganda.  Data hasil penelitian diolah secara deskriptif dan inferensial.  Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pendekatan saintifik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keterampilan komunikasi dan pemahaman konsep siswa materi pencemaran lingkungan. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the need for an e-book of applied microbiology based on Jambi's local wealth to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in the Biology Education Study Program, Jambi University. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The method used in the form of interviews and questionnaires to students. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and the percentage of the answers given was divided by the total number of respondents multiplied by 100%. The results of this study indicate that: (1) microbiology learning has not used project-based learning in accordance with Jambi's local wealth based to foster an entrepreneurial spirit; (2) 97.1% of students are interested in applied microbiology materials applied to foster an entrepreneurial spirit by utilizing local Jambi wealth (3) 88.2% of students have never had applied microbiology teaching materials in the form of e-books based on Jambi's local wealth to foster an entrepreneurial spirit as material teach the learning process. The conclusion of this study is that it is necessary to develop teaching materials in the form of an e-book of applied microbiology based on Jambi's local wealth to foster an entrepreneurial spirit. Key words: E-Book,  Microbiology, Entrepreneurship Abstrak  Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui kebutuhan terhadap e-book mikrobiologi terapan berbasis kekayaan lokal Jambi untuk menumbuhkan jiwa berwirausaha di Prodi Pendidkan Biologi Universitas Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan berupa wawancara dan kuesioner pada mahasiswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan prosentase dari hasil jumlah jawaban yang diberikan dibagi jumlah seluruh responden dikali 100%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pembelajaran mikrobiologi belum menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis proyek sesuai dengan berbasis kekayaan lokal Jambi untuk menumbuhkan jiwa berwirausaha; (2) 97,1% mahasiswa tertarik materi mikrobiologi terapan diterapkan untuk menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan dengan memanfaatkan kekayaan lokal jambi (3) 88,2% mahasiswa belum pernah bahan ajar mikrobiologi terapan berbentuk e-book berbasis kekayaan lokal Jambi untuk menumbuhkan jiwa berwirausaha sebagai bahan ajar proses pembelajaran. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perlu dikembangkan bahan ajar berupa e-book mikrobiologi terapan berbasis kekayaan lokal Jambi untuk menumbuhkan jiwa berwirausaha. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between independence and learning motivation on cognitive learning outcomes of Biology Students in online learning at Muhammadiyah high schools throughout Palembang. The research design used is descriptive quantitative research. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire sheet and learning outcomes of cognitive Biology students. The data obtained were analyzed using the significance test. The research subjects were students of class X and XI in the even semesters of the 2019/2020 school year, the sampling technique used the slovin formula. The results obtained after using the significance test at Muhammadiyah high schools in Palembang City, it is known that the significance value is < 0.05, which means (1) there is a relationship between learning independence and cognitive biology learning outcomes of students in online learning at Muhammadiyah high schools throughout Palembang, (2) there is a relationship between learning independence and cognitive biology learning outcomes of students in online learning at Muhammadiyah high schools throughout the city of Palembang and (3) there is a relationship between independence and learning motivation on students' cognitive biology learning outcomes in online learning at Muhammadiyah high schools throughout the city Palembang. Key word : : Independence, Motivation and Learning Outcomes.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemandirian dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar kognitif BiologiPeserta Didik pada pembelajaran online di SMA Muhammadiyah se-Kota Palembang.Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan berupa penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan lembar angket dan hasil belajar kognitif Biologi peserta didik. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji signifikansi. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X dan XI pada semester genap di tahun pelajaran 2019/2020, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin. Hasil penelitian diperoleh setelah menggunakan uji signifikansi di SMA Muhammadiyah se-Kota Palembang diketahui bahwa nilai signifikansi< 0,05, yang artinya (1) terdapat hubungan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar kognitif Biologi peserta didik pada pembelajaran online di SMA Muhammadiyah se-Kota Palembang, (2) terdapat hubungan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar kognitif Biologi peserta didik pada pembelajaran online di SMA Muhammadiyah se-Kota Palembang dan (3) terdapat hubungan kemandirian dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar kognitif Biologi peserta didik pada pembelajaran online di SMA Muhammadiyah se-Kota Palembang. Kata Kunci: Kemandirian, Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar.

Abstract

Media is one of the important components that must exist in a learning process. The aim of this research is to develop science e-comic for human digestive system material for VIII-grade junior high school students. This study uses the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data collection instrument used in the form of a validation questionnaire of design experts, material experts, teacher perceptions, and student perceptions of science e-comics. This research was conducted at SMP Insan Madani Boarding School Jambi. The results of validation by material experts obtained a percentage of 90.67% (very valid) and the assessment of media experts obtained a percentage of 90% (very valid). Assessment by the teacher obtained a percentage of 93.125% (very good). The results of the one-on-one trial obtained a total score of 96.67% (very good), the small-group trial scored 94.33% (very good), and the large group trial obtained a score of 92% (very good). In conclusion, science e-comic learning media is suitable for use in distance learning (online). Key words: Learning Media, E-Comic, Human Digestive System   Abstrak. Media merupakan salah satu komponen penting yang harus ada di dalam suatu pembelajaran. Tujan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan e-komik IPA materi sistem pencernaan manusia untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket validasi ahli desain, ahli materi,  persepsi guru dan persepsi siswa terhadap e-komik IPA. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Insan Madani Boarding School Jambi. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi memperoleh persentase 90,67% (sangat valid) dan penilaian ahli media memperoleh persentase 90% (sangat valid). Penilaian oleh  guru  memperoleh   persentase 93,125% (sangat baik). Hasil uji coba satu-satu diperoleh skor total 96,67% (sangat baik), uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh nilai 94,33% (sangat baik), dan uji coba kelompok besar memperoleh nilai 92% (sangat baik). Kesimpulannya media pembelajaran e-komik IPA  layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh (daring). Kata kunci: Media Pembelajaran, E-komik, Sistem Pencernaan Manusia

Abstract

This study departs from the analysis of the needs of students and lecturers who stated that there is not yet available Islamically integrated plant biosystematics practicum guide because the RPS for Islamic integration-based courses and interview results show that in practical learning activities students' religious values ​​have not been maximized, this is because there are still many students in practicum activities are more likely to play around and be lazy, even most students do not study and choose the path of cheating during prites. The purpose of the study was to determine the validity, practicality and religious values ​​of students after the use of an Islamic integrated plant biosystematics practicum guide. The type of research is R&D (research and development) using the ADDIE development model. The instruments used were validation questionnaires, response questionnaires and applied observation sheets, data analysis was carried out by validity analysis, practicality analysis and student religious value analysis. The results showed that product validation for material experts got an average result of 4.35 with very valid criteria, design experts got an average result of 4.30 with very valid criteria and interpreters got an average result of 4.20 with valid criteria. . The practicality value obtained an average result of 4.40 with very practical criteria for student responses and 4.55 with very practical criteria for lecturer and practicum assistant responses. Students' religious scores got an average result of 3.99 with good criteria and the applicability reached 87.68% with very good criteria. Based on these results, the Islamic integrated plant biosystematics practicum guide can be declared valid, practical and can maximize students' religious values. Key words: Practical gyide, Plant biosystematics, Islamic Integration Abstrak Penelitian ini bertolak dari analisis kebutuhan mahasiswa dan dosen yang dilakukan yang menyatakan belum tersedianya penuntun praktikum biosistematika tumbuhan yang terintegrasi keislaman karena pada RPS mata kuliah berbasis integrasi keislmanan dan hasil wawancara yang menunjukkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran praktikum nilai religius mahasiswa belum maksimal, hal ini dikarenakan masih banyak mahasiswa dalam kegiatan praktikum lebih cendrung bermain-main dan bermalas-malasan bahkan kebanyakan mahasiswa tidak belajar dan memilih jalan menyontek pada saat prites. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui validitas, kepraktisan dan nilai religius mahasiswa setelah penggunaan penuntun praktikum biosistematika tumbuhan terintegrasi keislaman. Jenis penelitian adalah R&D (penelitian dan pengembangan) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket validasi, angket respon dan lembar observasi keterterapan, analisis  data dilakukan dengan analisis validitas, analisis kepraktisan dan analisis nilai relgius mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan validasi produk pada ahli materi mendapatkan hasil rata-rata 4,35 dengan kriteria saangat valid, pada ahli desain mendapatkan hasil rata-rata 4,30 dengan kriteria sangat valid dan ahli tafsir mendapatkan hasil rata-rata 4,20 dengan kriteria valid. Nilai kepraktisan mendapatkan hasil rata-rata 4,40 dengan kriteria sangat praktis untuk respon mahasiswa dan 4,55 dengan kriteria sangat praktis untuk respon dosen dan asisten praktikum. Nilai religius mahasiswa mendapatkan hasil rata-rata 3,99 dengan kriteria baik dan keterterapannya mencapai 87,68% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Berlandaskan hasil tersebut maka penuntun praktikum biosistematika tumbuhan terintegrasi keislaman dapat dinyatakan valid, praktis dan dapat memaksimalkan nilai religius mahasiswa.
