Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the pattern of lesson study-based learning in ethnobotany subjects so as to improve the quality of lectures for students of the Biology Study Program, FST UNJA. This research is similar to classroom action research. The research that uses the lesson study model consists of 3 stages, namely planning (planning), Do & See (Actions and Observations/Observations), and Reflection (Reflection). Improving the quality of lectures can be seen through student learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes were measured using various instruments. Assessment of student knowledge is carried out using multiple choice test questions, assessment of student skills is carried out through simplicia making project assignments, assessment of student attitudes is carried out using observation sheets, self-assessment sheets, and peer assessment sheets. The results showed that student learning outcomes have increased, namely in the first cycle of lesson study implementation, the percentage of students' classical mastery in the cognitive aspect was 70.37%, increasing to 88.88% in the second cycle. With the number of students 27 people, it is known that the average value of cognitive aspects obtained in the first cycle is 80, which increases in the second cycle to 92. Then the student activity in the first cycle and second cycle has increased at each cycle meeting where the average cycle I meeting 1 and 2 the average student activity increased from 42.19% to 58.61%, in the second cycle of meetings 1 and 2 the average student activity increased significantly from 71.65% to 83.57%. In conclusion, the quality of lectures increased after the implementation of the lesson study model. Key words: Lesson Study, Lecture Quality, Ethnobotany Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakuakn untuk mengetahui pola pembelajaran berbasis lesson study pada matakuliah etnobotani sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas perkuliahan bagi mahasiswa Prodi Biologi FST UNJA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang mirip dengan penelitian tindakan kelas. Pada penelitian yang menggunakan model lesson study ini terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu planning (perencanaan), Do & See (Tindakan dan Pengamatan/Observasi), dan Reflection (Refleksi). Peningkatan kualitas perkuliahan dapat dilihat melalui hasil belajar mahasiswa. Hasil belajar mahasiswa diukur menggunakan berbagai intrumen. Penilaian pengetahuan mahasiswa dilakukan menggunakan tes soal pilihan ganda, penilaian keterampilan mahasiswa dilakukan melalui tugas proyek pembuatan simplisia, penilaian sikap mahasiswa dilakukan menggunakan lembar observasi, lembar penilaian diri, dan lembar penilaian teman sebaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan yakni pada siklus I pelaksanaan lesson study di dapati persentase ketuntasan klasikal mahasiswa pada aspek kognitif sebesar 70,37% meningkat menjadi 88,88% pada siklus II. Dengan jumlah mahasiswa 27 orang, diketahui nilai rata-rata aspek kognitif yang diperoleh pada siklus I yaitu 80 meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 92. Kemudian aktivitas mahasiswa pada siklus I dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan pada setiap pertemuan persiklusnya yang mana rata-rata siklus I pertemuan 1 dan 2 rata-rata aktivitas mahasiswa 42,19% meningkat menjadi 58,61%, pada siklus II pertemuan 1 dan 2 rata-rata aktivitas mahasiswa meningkat secara signifikan dari 71,65% menjadi 83,57%. Abstract

This study aims to find out what habits of mind profile students form in plant physiology lectures. This type of research is descriptive research with qualitative methods. This research was conducted at the Biology Study Program, FST UNJA. The research subjects are Biology Study Program students who take Plant Physiology courses. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained through interview instruments, questionnaires, observations, and documentation using the data triangulation method, namely technical triangulation. The research instruments in the form of questionnaires, interviews and observations were adopted from Costa and Kallick which consisted of 16 categories of habits of mind (hom). Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The conclusion of this study is that the overall habit of mind of students in the plant physiology course of the Biology Study Program, FST UNJA is in the very strong category, where 56.25% of the criteria from 16 categories have strong criteria and 43.75% have sufficient criteria. The highest percentage is obtained on 2 indicators, namely: the ability to not lie and think flexible does not mean undisciplined but not rigid at a percentage of 79% and the lowest is in the indicator responding with awe (Responding with wonderment and awe) at a percentage of 48%. Key words: Habits of Mind, Plant Physiology, Student   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja profil habits of mind mahasiswa yang terbentuk dalam kegiatan perkuliahan fisiologi tumbuhan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif. Pedelitian ini dilakukan di Prodi Biologi FST UNJA. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Prodi Biologi yang mengikuti mata kuliah Fisiologi Tumbuhan. Pengambilan sample dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui instrumen wawancara, angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan metode triangulasi data yaitu triangulasi teknik. Instrument penelitian berupa angket, wawancara dan observasi diadopsi dari Costa dan Kallick yang terdiri dari 16 kategori habits of mind (hom). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu secara keseluruhan habit of mind mahasiswa pada mata kuliah fisiologi tumbuhan Prodi Biologi FST UNJA berada pada kategori sangat kuat, di mana 56,25% kriteria dari 16 kategori memiliki kriteria kuat dan 43,75% memiliki kriteria cukup. Persentasi paling tinggi didapat pada 2 indikator yaitu: kemampuan tidak berbohong dan Berfikir fleksibel bukan berarti tidak disiplin melainkan tidak kaku pada persentase 79% dan yang paling rendah terdapat pada indicator menanggapi dengan rasa kekaguman (Responding with wonderment and awe) pada persentase 48%.  Kata kunci: Habits of Mind, Fisiologi Tumbuhan, Mahasiswa

Abstract

The condition of the Bukit Tigapuluh National Park, which is directly adjacent to agricultural land and residential areas of the Lubuk Mandarsah Village community as well as the existence of a concession permit causes a high potential for conflict between Sumatran elephants and the community. The decline in biodiversity due to overexploitation of natural resources, the conversion of company land around the Bukit Tigapuluh National Park has a negative impact on the conservation of Sumatran elephants and the survival of the people living around the buffer area of ​​the Bukit Tigapuluh National Park. With this problem, it will certainly cause conflict between humans and Sumatran elephants. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge and perceptions of the community towards conflicts with Sumatran elephants. This research is research using mixed method or mix method, which combines qualitative and quantitative methods. Based on this research, it was found that the level of community knowledge in the hamlet of Lubuk Mandarsah Village regarding Sumatran Elephants was classified as high (39-48) with a percentage of 82% and the perception of people in Lubuk Mandarsah Village regarding Sumatran elephants was classified as bad with a percentage of 78%. Kondisi Taman Nasionnal Bukit Tigapuluh yang berbatasan langsung dengan lahan pertanian dan pemukiman masyarakat Desa Lubuk Mandarsah  serta adanya perizinan konsesi menyebabkan tingginya potensi konflik gajah sumatera dengan masyarakat. Penurunan keanekaragaman hayati akibat eksploitasi sumber daya alam yang berlebihan, konversi lahan perusahaan sekitar Taman Nasional Bukit Tigapuluh menimbulkan dampak negatif terhadap konservasi gajah sumatera dan keberlangsungan hidup masyarakat yang hidup disekitar daerah penyangga Taman Nasional Bukit Tigapuluh. Dengan adanya permaslaahan ini tentu akan menimbulkan konflik antara manusia dan gajah sumatera. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengetahuan dan persepsi dari masyarakat terhadap konflik dengan gajah sumatera. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian menggunakan metode campuran atan mix method dimana mengkombinasikan metode Kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dihasilkan bahwa Tingkat Pengetahuan Masyarakat di dusun Desa Lubuk Mandarsah terkait Gajah Sumatera sudah tergolong Tinggi (39-48) dengan persentase sebesar 82 % dan persepsi masyarakat di Desa Lubuk Mandarsah terkait gajah sumatera masik tergolong tidak baik dengan persentase 78%.  Kata kunci: Pengetahuan, Persepsi, Masyarakat, Gajah Sumatera

Abstract

This study aims to determine the scientific attitude of students in general Biology courses at UIN STS Jambi. This research was conducted in integrated laboratory UIN STS Jambi. The population in this study were undergraduate students in Biology Tadris UIN STS Jambi. This research is a quantitative descriptive study, by taking data by observation and questionnaire. The aspects of scientific attitude used in data collection are curiosity, honesty, responsibility, confidence, cooperation, and openness. Research results show that, the value of scientific attitude on the aspect of curiosity is 85.2% with a very good category, an honest attitude of 73.1% with a good category, 87.1% responsibility with a very good category, open 74.5% with good category, 65.5% confidence with enough category and 84.5% cooperation with very good category. Overall, the scientific attitude of students in practicing practical activities in general Biology courses was 78.3% with a good category. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap ilmiah yang dimiliki mahasiswa pada praktikum mata kuliah  Biologi umum di UIN STS Jambi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dilabolatorium terpadu UIN STS Jambi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa S1 Tadris Biologi Tadris Biologi UIN STS Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan pengambilan data secara observasi dan angket. Aspek sikap ilmiah yang digunakan dalam pengambilan data yaitu rasa ingin tahu, jujur, tanggung jawab, percaya diri, kerja sama, dan  terbuka. Hasil penelitin menunjukkan bahwa, nilai sikap ilmiah pada aspek rasa ingin tahu adalah 85,2% dengan kategori sangat baik, sikap jujur 73,1% dengan kategori baik, tanggung jawab 87,1% dengan kategori sangat baik, terbuka 74,5% dengan kategori baik, percaya diri 65,5% dengan kategori cukup dan kerja sama 84,5% dengan kategori sangat baik. Secara keseluhan sikap ilmiah mahasiswa dalam kegiatan pelaksaan praktikum pada mata kuliah Biologi umum adalah 78,3% dengan kategori baik.

Abstract

Activities are very important principles in learning process. The teaching objectives of course will be achieved if students actively try to achieve them. Student activity in the learning process causes high interaction between teachers and students. The objective of this study is to understand the effect of the think talk write cooperative learning  model  on  students activities in biology  learning  in SMA Negeri 2 Batanghari. This research is a quantitative study using true experimental-posttest only control design. The data collection instruments are observation sheets and documentation. Based on data analysis, it was obtained that the average of students learning activities from 3 meetings in the experiment class was 64.16%, the category active. While the average of student learning activities from 3 meetings in the control class was 37.70%, the category less active. Based on the calculation of the hypothesis test using the t-test, it was found that students learning activities obtained a value of t0 ≥ tt, namely 2.03 <4.31> 2.71, and the effect size of the treatment given was 1.43 with a percentage of 91.9% . It can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the use of the think talk write cooperative learning model on students activities in biology learning in SMA Negeri 2 Batanghari. Abstrak. Aktivitas merupakan prinsip atau asas yang sangat penting dalam pembelajaran. Aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran menyebabkan  interaksi yang  tinggi  antara  guru  dan  siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif think talk write terhadap aktivitas belajar biologi siswa SMA Negeri 2 Batanghari. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain true experimental-posttest only control design. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dari 3 kali pertemuan adalah 64,16% dengan kategori aktif. Sedangkan rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa pada kelas kontrol dari 3 kali pertemuan adalah 37,70% dengan kategori kurang aktif. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t, didapatkan bahwa aktivitas belajar siswa diperoleh nilai t0  ≥ tt  yaitu 2,03 < 4,31 > 2,71, dan besar effect size perlakuan yang diberikan adalah 1,43 dengan persentase 91,9%. Hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif think talk write terhadap aktivitas belajar biologi siswa SMA Negeri 2 Batanghari.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a guided inquiry-based animal anatomy physiology practicum module to complement the previous practicum module, and to become one that can provide information to practitioners, and can improve students' scientific work attitude in carrying out practicals. The formulation of the problem that can be taken is knowing the validity of the module and the readability of the practicum module. This research uses the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages, namely analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating. The results of the validation of the practicum module by experts to have a percentage of 83.84%, and the readability of the module by 85.20%, so it can be concluded that the guided inquiry-based animal anatomy and physiology practicum module are feasible to use and can be implemented according to students' scientific work. In conclusion, the guided inquiry-based animal anatomy and physiology practicum module can be used and implemented in practical activities in accordance with scientific work principles. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengembangkan modul praktikum anatomi fisiologi hewan berbasis inquiry terbimbing untuk melengkapi modul praktikum sebelumnya, dan menjadi yang dapat memberikan informasi kepada praktikan, serta dapat meningkatkan sikap kerja ilmiah mahasiswa dalam pelaksanaan praktikum. Rumusan masalah yang dapat diambil yakni mengetahui validitas modul dan keterbacaanmodul praktikum,  Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima tahap, yaitu menganalisis, merancang, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil validasi modul praktikum oleh ahli memiliki persentase sebasar 83,84%, dan keterbacaan modul sebesar 85,20%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan modul praktikum anatomi fisiologi hewan berbasis inquiry terbimbing layak digunakan dan dapatdi implemetasikan sesuai kerja ilmiah mahasiswa. Kesimpulannya modul praktikum anatomi fisiologi hewan berbasis inquiry terbimbing dapat digunakan dan diimplementasi pada kegiatan praktikum sesuai dengan kaidah kerja ilmiah. Abstract

Observations show that the students' low critical thinking and communication skills are caused by passive learning activities - the low involvement of students - when learning. The low level of these skills has a low impact on learning outcomes as the quality of learning decreases. The project based learning model is one of the recommended learning models for 21st century learning because it is contextual and student-centered, thus making students more active. The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of the project based learning model on students' critical thinking and communication skills. The research method is a quasi experimental design (posttest only control group design). The instruments are essay questions to measure critical thinking skills and rubrics for assessing communication skills which are measured through presentations and project reports. Data analysis of students' critical thinking and communication skills between classes was carried out using a T-test to see the difference in variance of the two classes with different conditions. The results showed that the average value of critical thinking and communication skills of students who carried out learning using the project based learning model was higher than conventional learning. Data analysis shows that the model has a significant effect on students' critical thinking and communication skills. In conclusion, the project based learning model has an effect on students' critical thinking and communication skills. Key words: project, critical thinking, communication   Abstrak. Observasi menunjukkan rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berkomunikasi peserta didik disebabkan oleh aktivitas belajar yang pasif, yaitu minimnya keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Rendahnya keterampilan-keterampilan tersebut berdampak terhadap hasil belajar yang ikut rendah seiring menurunnya kualitas pembelajaran. Model project based learning merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang direkomendasikan untuk pembelajaran abad-21 karena bersifat kontekstual dan berpusat pada peserta didik, sehingga membuat peserta didik lebih aktif. Tujuan penelitian adalah menguji pengaruh model project based learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berkomunikasi peserta didik. Metode penelitian adalah quasi experimental design (posttest only control group design). Instrumen berupa soal essay untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis dan rubrik penilaian keterampilan berkomunikasi yang diukur melalui presentasi dan laporan proyek. Analisis data keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berkomunikasi peserta didik antarkelas dilakukan dengan uji-T untuk melihat perbedaan varian dari dua kelas dengan kondisi berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berkomunikasi peserta didik yang melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan model project based learning lebih tinggi daripada pembelajaran secara konvensional. Analisis data menunjukkan  model tersebut berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berkomunikasi peserta didik. Disimpulkan bahwa model project based learning berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berkomunikasi peserta didik. Kata kunci: proyek, berpikir kritis, berkomunikasi

The development of Students Worksheets based on research on the effect of macroseismic vibrations on the behavior of Catfish (Clarias sp) is expected to make learning more interactive. This study has three purposes. Firstly,  determining the effect of macroseismic vibrations on the behavior of  Catfish (Clarias sp) followed by determining the feasibility of students' worksheets and its impact on the motivation and learning outcomes. This research consists of two stages, namely observing the behavioral response of Catfish (Clarias sp) to macroseismic vibrations and developing students' worksheets. Four D models which are modified into 3-D were used in developing students' worksheets. The product was validated by two validators and then tested on the students. The collection of motivation data and learning outcomes used questionnaires and tests (pretest-posttest) respectively. Macroseismic vibrations cause stress so that the catfish (Clarias sp) moves to the surface and jumps. The students' worksheets were declared worthy of being tested by the validators. Furthermore, biology teachers and students gave a positive response and stated that the students' worksheets were very good. The average student's motivation increased significantly from 60.38 to 80.88. Likewise, the average of learning outcomes rose significantly from 60.62 to 81.13. Macroseismic vibrations is a stressor that causes abnormal behavior of catfish (Clarias sp). The students' worksheets are stated feasible and very good by validators, biology teachers, and students. The product also raises significantly of student’s motivation and learning outcomes. Key words: students worksheets, students motivation, learning outcomes, earthquake Abstrak  Perilaku ilmiah dan proaktif dalam percobaan yang rendah pada materi sistem koordinasi menyebabkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Islam Terpadu Al-Kamal NW di bawah standar. Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis riset pengaruh getaran makroseismik terhadap perilaku Ikan Lele (Clarias sp) diharapkan membuat pembelajaran lebih interaktif. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh getaran makroseismik terhadap perilaku Ikan Lele (Clarias sp), dan kelayakan LKPD serta dampaknya terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua tahap yaitu tahapan pengamatan respon perilaku ikan terhadap getaran makroseismik dan riset pengembangan LKPD. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah 4-D yang dimodifikasi menjadi 3-D. Produk divalidasi oleh 2 validator kemudian diujicobakan siswa. Pengumpulan data motivasi dan hasil belajar menggunakan angket, lembar observasi, dan tes (pretest-posttest). Getaran makroseismik menyebabkan stres sehingga Ikan Lele (Clarias sp) bergerak menuju permukaan dan melompat. Produk LKPD dinyatakan layak diujicobakan oleh validator. Pendidik dan peserta didik memberikan respon positif dan menyatakan LKPD sangat baik. Rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa meningkat signifikan dari 60,38 menjadi 80,88. Begitu juga dengan rata-rata hasil belajar yang meningkat signifikan dari 60,62 menjadi 81,13. Makroseismik merupakan stresor yang menyebabkan Ikan Lele (Clarias sp) berperilaku abnormal. Produk LKPD berbasis riset perilaku Ikan Lele (Clarias sp) dinyatakan layak dan mendapat respon sangat baik sehingga dapat mampu meningkatkan motivasi serta hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan. Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive multimedia-based learning media using 3D Pageflip Professional. The developed media discuss material about determining the sex of insects, this research belongs to the Research and Development (R & D) type using the ADDIE method. The research was conducted at SMA N 10 Jambi City in September 2021. The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires via google form to students and teachers of biology subjects. Data analysis techniques were carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of validation by material experts and media experts stated that this media was categorized as "very good". The test results on students (small groups and large groups) and teachers, stated that interactive multimedia-based learning media using 3D Pageflip Professional was categorized as "very good". Based on this, it can be concluded that the product is feasible to be used as a learning medium. Penelitian ini berutujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif menggunakan 3D Pageflip Professional. Media yang dikembangkan membahas materi tentang penentuan jenis kelamin serangga, penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis  Research and Development ( R & D ) menggunakan metode ADDIE. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA N 10 Kota Jambi pada September 2021. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menyebarkan angket melalui google form kepada siswa dan guru mata pelajaran biologi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media menyatakan bahwa media ini terkategori “sangat baik”. Hasil uji coba kepada siswa (kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar) dan guru, menyatakan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif menggunakan 3D Pageflip Professional terkategori “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan hal itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of the assessment instrument for biology teachers in designing learning tools based on pedagogic and professional competencies and the principal's perception of the assessment instruments that have been developed. The type of research used is instrument development research from the ADDIE model, this model has 5 stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Instrument products before being tested are validated, product validation is carried out by material experts and design experts. Material expert validation got a score of 92% in the "Very Appropriate" category, so the assessment instrument was said to be feasible. Furthermore, the validation of the design experts got a score of 92% in the "Very Appropriate" category, then the practicality of the instrument resulted in 92% in the "Very Practical" category. This assessment instrument was tested one by one by researchers on three principals in Tebo Regency, namely SMA Negeri 3, SMA Negeri 10 and MAN 2. The results of the one-on-one trial were: (1) On each item in the assessment instrument that had been made the material or message conveyed or the purpose of using the assessment instrument is clear to the user. (2) The impact on users is that it can make it easier to make assessments of teachers, the items are specific. (3) The feasibility of using the product is in accordance with the available time. (4) The suitability of the items of the assessment instrument with the real world according to the user is appropriate. The field trial stage obtained an effectiveness of 92% with the "Very Effective" category. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the assessment instrument developed could be used by school principals on biology teachers in designing learning tools based on pedagogic and professional competencies. Key words: assessment instruments, teaching tools, pedagogic and professional competence, high school biology teacher Abstrak  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan instrumen asesmen guru biologi dalam merancang perangkat pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional dan persepsi kepala sekolah pada instrumen asesmen yang telah dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan instrumen dari model ADDIE, model ini terdapat 5 tahap yaitu: analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Produk instrumen sebelum diujicobakan terlebih dahulu divalidasi, validasi produk dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli desain. Validasi ahli materi mendapatkan skor 92% kategori “Sangat Sesuai”, sehingga instrumen asesmen dikatakan layak. Selanjutnya validasi ahli desain mendapatkan skor 92% kategori “Sangat Sesuai”, kemudian praktikalitas instrumen dihasilkan sebesar 92% kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Intrumen asesmen ini diuji coba satu-satu oleh peneliti pada tiga kepala sekolah di Kabupaten Tebo yaitu SMA Negeri 3, SMA Negeri 10 dan MAN 2. Hasil uji coba satu-satu yaitu : (1) Pada tiap butir di dalam instrumen asesmen yang telah dibuat materi atau pesan yang disampaikan atau tujuan dari penggunaan instrumen asesmen tersebut sudah jelas bagi pengguna. (2) Dampak bagi pengguna yakni dapat mempermudah dalam melakukan asesmen kepada guru, itemnya sudah spesifik. (3) Kelayakan penggunaan produk tersebut sudah sesuai dengan ketersediaan waktu yang ada (4) Kecocokan butir instrumen asesmen dengan dunia nyata menurut pengguna yaitu sesuai. Tahap uji coba lapangan diperoleh efektivitas sebesar 92% dengan kategori “Sangat Efektif”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa instrumen asesmen yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan oleh kepala sekolah terhadap guru biologi dalam merancang perangkat pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi pedagogic dan profesional.
