Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal Program (Makan Bergizi Gratis/MBG) has increased national demand for eggs and may influence retail prices at the regional level, including in the city of Bandung. This study analyzes the fluctuation of chicken egg prices at an Indogrosir outlet in Bandung City during January-July 2026 and its relationship with the dynamics of the MBG Program. A quantitative method was applied using secondary data of 148 daily price observations. The analysis includes descriptive statistics, mean-difference tests, and multiple linear regression with a time-trend variable and two dummy variables representing the Ramadan-Eid period and the temporary suspension of MBG distribution. Results show a significant declining price trend over the observation period, with a price spike during Ramadan-Eid and a sharp drop when MBG distribution was temporarily suspended. The regression model explains 85 percent of price variation, with all coefficients statistically significant. These findings indicate that demand generated by the MBG Program contributes to egg price formation at the retail level in Bandung City, suggesting that program continuity should be considered in maintaining local food price stability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service performance, internal control systems, and facilities and infrastructure on public satisfaction through financial risk management at the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) of Bogor Regency. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 388 users of DPMPTSP Bogor Regency services. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that service performance and facilities and infrastructure have a positive and significant effect on public satisfaction, while the internal control system has a positive but insignificant effect on public satisfaction. Furthermore, facilities and infrastructure have a positive and significant effect on financial risk management, whereas service performance and the internal control system have positive but insignificant effects on financial risk management. Financial risk management was found to have a positive and significant effect on public satisfaction. These findings suggest that improving public satisfaction at DPMPTSP Bogor Regency is influenced by service quality, the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure, and effective financial risk management practices. The results of this study are expected to provide valuable input for government institutions in enhancing the quality of public services through strengthened organizational governance and financial risk management.

Abstract

Financial performance serves as a primary indicator to evaluate financial management effectiveness in State Universities with Legal Entity Status (PTN BH). This study analyzes the impact of budget planning, fund utilization efficiency, and financial accountability on the financial performance of PTN BH, mediated by financial risk management. Utilizing a quantitative survey approach at Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), data from financial management personnel were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings reveal that budget planning directly and positively impacts PTN BH financial performance. Furthermore, budget planning, fund utilization efficiency, and financial accountability positively influence financial risk management. Conversely, fund utilization efficiency and financial accountability do not show significant direct effects on financial performance. However, financial risk management demonstrates a strong positive influence on financial performance. These results indicate that effective financial risk management acts as a crucial mediating mechanism that strengthens the path from budget planning, efficient fund usage, and accountability toward optimized financial performance. Ultimately, this research contributes to public sector financial management theory and offers practical guidance for PTN BH administrators aiming to enhance institutional governance and achieve sustainable financial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of a coaching program, identify the challenges encountered, and formulate recommendations for implementing coaching as part of competency development for Civil Servants at the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency of City X. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews and document analysis. The findings indicate that coaching has been implemented; however, it remains informal because it is not supported by a competency development needs analysis, including the identification of coaching needs, nor by standardized implementation guidelines. As a result, coaching opportunities have not been systematically identified, while the readiness of both coaches and coachees still requires improvement. In addition, the absence of structured documentation and evaluation mechanisms has caused the implementation of coaching to depend largely on the initiative and approach of individual supervisors. Consequently, coaching has not yet functioned as a systematic competency development method. Based on these findings, this study recommends the development of Coaching Needs Assessment Guidelines and Coaching Implementation Guidelines to support the systematic identification of needs, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of coaching as an integral component of competency development for Civil Servants.

Abstract

This study examined the implementation of competency development for Widyaiswara at the Balai Besar Pengembangan Kompetensi Wilayah X, which has not yet been optimally implemented, particularly in the needs analysis and post-training evaluation stages. The study aimed to describe the implementation process, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and examine efforts to address existing constraints. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using interviews and document analysis. The findings reveal that leadership support, personnel data, information systems, and coordination among Widyaiswara facilitate competency development, while budget limitations, the mismatch between training programs and competency needs, technical constraints, and the absence of structured post-training evaluation hinder its implementation. Efforts to address these issues include schedule adjustments, online training, and strengthened coordination in training selection. Based on the findings, a competency development implementation guideline was developed to improve the effectiveness of competency development.

Abstract

The growth of social commerce via TikTok has transformed how people purchase beauty products. This study examines the influence of flash sales and content marketing on impulse buying, with Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) serving as a mediating factor between these variables among buyers of Facetology products on TikTok. Employing a quantitative, explanatory research design, the study utilized purposive sampling to select participants and gathered data through online questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that flash sales and content marketing have a positive and significant impact on both FoMO and impulse buying. FoMO exerts a positive and significant influence on impulse buying and significantly mediates the effects of flash sales and content marketing on impulse buying. Furthermore, FoMO emerged as the most influential factor regarding the likelihood of consumers making impulse purchases. The study demonstrates that digital marketing strategies—specifically flash sales and content marketing—successfully drive impulse buying, both directly and through the mediating role of FoMO.
