Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Develop a research-based project learning model in entrepreneurship subjects that can foster the entrepreneurial spirit of students at SMK Muhammadiyah Pagaralam. 2) To determine the effectiveness of the Research Based project learning model in entrepreneurship subjects which can foster the entrepreneurial spirit of students at SMK Muhammadiyah Pagaralam. The research approach used is Research and Development (RnD). The product developed is a learning module that has gone through a validation process by experts and was tested in one class. The results of this trial are the basis for revising the learning module product to produce a final product that can be used. The revised product was then validated by 3 experts and tested in two classes. The effectiveness test was carried out using paired sample test analysis. The implementation of the Research-Based PjBL Model in Entrepreneurship subjects at Muhammadiyah Pagaralam Vocational School has had a positive and effective impact. The findings show a positive impact on students' motivation and skills, as well as a contribution to increasing entrepreneurial spirit. The learning modules developed have been validated and have a significant impact on learning. However, the evaluation highlights aspects that need improvement, such as the level of difficulty of the material, learning resources and learning activities. This becomes the basis for continuous improvement in improving the quality of learning.

Abstract

Generation Z, having come of age in a thriving and varied digital age, encounters distinct obstacles in cultivating their religious identity. This article explores the most effective ways for engaging Generation Z in religious character building and examines the resulting ramifications. The methodology employed is qualitative, with descriptive analysis as the study type. The research focused on the following subjects: the madrasah's head, the curriculum section, male and female student affairs, and the students. Data gathering approaches employ methods such as interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis techniques encompass various stages, namely data collecting, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Studies indicate that the utilization of digital technology, including social media and educational applications, can effectively transmit religious ideals to Generation Z. Furthermore, the implementation of a comprehensive strategy that encompasses both structured and unstructured learning, interpersonal engagement, and guidance from mentors has also demonstrated its efficacy. The significance of these findings underscores the necessity of adapting religious learning methodologies to cater to the requirements and inclinations of Generation Z. This essay emphasizes the necessity of using creative approaches to engage Generation Z in the development of religious character, with the aim of preserving spiritual values in the rapidly changing modern world.

Abstract

The first government initiative to improve the competency of PAI teachers was the Professional Development Program (PKB). This program is said to be able to improve the quality of PAI teachers' work when conducting online competency assessments. This series of activities began with online and simultaneous competency mapping throughout Indonesia with the aim of equalizing teacher competency as a whole and divided into several aspects. This research uses critical analysis methods. Data collection techniques include document scanning, interviews, and data collection using documents. Data analysis in this research uses qualitative analysis. The results of optimizing the Sustainable Professional Development (PKB) approach for this research are as follows. (1) Assess yourself as a PAI teacher; Second, the online Competency Mapping (PK) program; the third is PAI PKB Teacher training. The results of this research show the ability of the PKB program which is expected to improve the skills and work efficiency of PAI assistants through various courses that have been successfully completed systematically and comprehensively.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in personalized learning and its impact on student engagement and achievement. Utilizing a qualitative research design, specifically a case study approach, we gathered data through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and document analysis involving students and teachers from various educational levels. The findings reveal that AI tools significantly enhance personalized learning by customizing learning paths, providing real-time feedback, and facilitating differentiated instruction. Students reported increased engagement and improved academic performance due to the interactive nature and adaptive capabilities of AI-driven platforms. Teachers highlighted the importance of professional development and support to effectively implement these technologies. However, challenges such as technical issues, data privacy concerns, and the steep learning curve associated with new AI tools were also identified. Despite these limitations, participants were optimistic about the future potential of AI in education and suggested improvements for better curriculum integration and user-friendly interfaces. The study emphasizes the need for robust technical infrastructure, clear ethical guidelines, and continuous innovation to maximize the benefits of AI in personalized learning. The implications of these findings suggest that AI has the potential to transform educational practices by creating more engaging, effective, and individualized learning experiences. Future research should focus on addressing the identified challenges and exploring the long-term impacts of AI integration in diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

This study explores the role of Virtual Reality (VR) in enhancing experiential learning, comparing traditional and immersive learning environments through a descriptive qualitative design. By integrating VR into educational settings, we aim to understand how this technology affects student engagement and comprehension. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and content analysis of VR-based and traditional classroom activities. The findings reveal that VR significantly increases student engagement and understanding by providing immersive, interactive, and hands-on learning experiences. Students demonstrated higher levels of participation, deeper understanding of complex concepts, and improved retention of knowledge in VR environments compared to traditional methods. The study also identifies technical and pedagogical challenges, including the need for robust infrastructure, teacher training, and curriculum alignment. Based on these insights, recommendations are made for curriculum design, teacher professional development, and equitable access to VR technology. Future research should focus on the long-term impacts of VR, its application across different subjects, and strategies for overcoming implementation barriers. This research underscores the transformative potential of VR in education, advocating for its thoughtful integration to enhance learning outcomes.

Abstract

This qualitative study explores the impact of gamification on active learning and student retention in online education. It investigates the influence of game elements such as points, badges, leaderboards, and collaborative challenges on engagement and motivation among students, educators, and administrators across diverse educational settings. The study utilizes semi-structured interviews, focus groups, surveys, and observations to gather comprehensive insights into participant experiences. The findings highlight that gamification significantly enhances student engagement by offering clear objectives, immediate feedback, and a sense of accomplishment. Participants express heightened motivation and enjoyment in their learning activities, leading to increased participation levels and reduced dropout rates. Nonetheless, challenges such as balancing competitive elements and aligning gamified activities with educational goals are identified as areas for improvement. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of how gamification can effectively transform online learning environments. It offers practical recommendations for educators and institutions to optimize student engagement and retention through the strategic implementation of gamified strategies
