Abstract

The article aims to highlight the political dimension –in a broad sense– of confession and the inquisition in their emergence as procedures to sentence hidden sin. It does so by inserting both in the dual forms, pastoral and juridical, that the plenomedieval ecclesiastical government develops for the condemnation of the disobedience to the new Roman orthodoxy and orthopraxis. In this respect, the confe-sional and inquisitorial devices are understood in relation to the emergence of the heretical as a stubborn challenge to the Roman government - in the tension between the government of oneself and of others

Abstract

Yarn spinning is an important aspect of the world of textiles. This is because spinning is the main focus of the textile industry sub-sector. Therefore, when yarn products are not suitable, this can have an impact on consumers and companies. This research then aims to look at the problem of the non-standard strength index of 30 TR 65/35 process cone threads using a problem-solving method through the PDCA concept. This research will be carried out using semi-quantitative methods. The analysis method used incorporates concepts from FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) and PDCA. The results of this research then found that the case study at PT X identified the main cause of non-standard tensile strength of 30 TR yarn as a combination of material suitability, machine condition, and environmental factors which had the most significant impact. The use of SFX brand polyester fiber and SPV brand rayon as raw materials, as well as an appropriate waste reuse sorting process, has been proven to increase the quality of the tensile strength of the yarn. Errors in twist values and suboptimal machine maintenance were also found to contribute to a decrease in yarn tensile strength. Production environmental conditions, such as high humidity, have a negative effect on yarn strength. An effective solution to this problem was found by adding wax to the thread, increasing its tensile strength by 7%.

Accumulatively, the amount of village funds budgeted to villages continues to increase from year to year. However, the fact is that there are still many villages that have not been able to utilize the presence of village funds optimally. Low community participation in managing village funds is one of the important factors hindering village development. This research has several objectives, namely first, to see what transparent and participatory village fund management looks like in Kerekeh village. Second, explore the local wisdom values of the Kerekeh village community. This research is qualitative descriptive research using a phenomenological approach. Research data was obtained from the results of in-depth interviews with research informants and direct observation at the research location. The data that has been obtained is then processed and analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that (1) The Kerekeh village government has attempted to provide opportunities for the community to participate in every village fund management process. The village government also provides access and opportunities for village communities to obtain information related to village fund management by providing information channels containing various village activities and programs funded using village funds, such as websites and village information boards. (2) There are traditions that are still maintained and held firmly by the Kerekeh village community, such as tokal-adat, laong-pantar and basiru which require local wisdom values such as a sense of family, honesty, trust and a spirit of togetherness.

Abstract

Avocado peels contain Flavonoid compounds and alkaloids as antibacterial. In this study, the ethanol extract of Avocado peels was formulated as a liquid soap using concentrations of FI (1%), FII (3%) and FIII (5%). This study aimed to formulate a liquid soap from a sample of Avocado peel extract against the antibacterial activity ofStaphylococcus aureususing the agar diffusion method in wells. Physical evaluation of liquid soap preparations includes several parameters, namely organoleptic tests including odour, shape and colour, pH test, foam stability test, viscosity test and homogeneity test. The results obtained from testing liquid soap using ethanol extract of Avocado peels with varying concentrations of 1%, 3% and 5% can inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, namely 1% = 19.6, 3% = 21.6 and 5% = 25.8. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the ethanol extract of Avocado peels (Persea americana) can be formulated in the form of liquid soap and is effective against inhibition of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. In this study, FIII fulfilled the physical quality evaluation test and had activity as an antibacterial, with the resulting inhibition zone at a concentration of 5% = 26.6 mm, a powerful category.
