Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap siswa terhadap moderasi beragama, faktor-faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam membentuk sikap tersebut, serta peran guru PAI dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa PAI di SMAN 1 Kandanghaur. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa SMAN 1 Kandanghaur memiliki sikap keagamaan yang moderat. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa siswa yang belum memahami dan mengamalkan sikap moderat dalam beragama. Oleh karena itu, guru PAI berperan aktif dalam membimbing siswa agar mampu menerapkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Faktor pendukung utama dalam membentuk sikap moderat siswa meliputi dukungan kepala sekolah melalui program keagamaan serta keberagaman dalam organisasi sekolah yang memungkinkan siswa belajar toleransi. Sebaliknya, pengaruh negatif dari media sosial dan lingkungan luar sekolah menjadi faktor penghambat dalam pembentukan sikap moderat siswa. Guru PAI memiliki peran penting sebagai pembimbing, informan, pengelola pembelajaran, serta panutan bagi siswa. Sebagai pembimbing, guru membantu siswa mengembangkan sikap sosial positif dan menghindari ekstremisme. Sebagai informan, guru memberikan wawasan yang akurat terkait ilmu agama dan perkembangan teknologi. Selain itu, guru PAI mengelola aktivitas keagamaan serta menjadi teladan dalam bersikap moderat dan menghormati perbedaan.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the meaning of reason in an Islamic perspective and analyze the concept of reason education in the perspective of the Al-Qur'an Surah Ali Imran verses 190-191. This research is a descriptive qualitative research study of libraries (library research), by collecting data from various related sources and then analyzing it to draw conclusions. Research studies show that the meaning of reason in the Islamic perspective is a tool used for the thinking process. In this context of thinking, reason has a very important role, because it is able to achieve understanding, knowledge and awareness through stages that are scientific, empirical and philosophical. All of these processes are carried out on the basis of the Al-Qur'an and hadith, with the aim of advancing human life in this world. Meanwhile, the concept of intellectual education in the Al-Qur'an, Ali Imran verses 190-191, emphasizes the importance of using reason to reflect on and understand the signs of the greatness of Allah SWT. which is clearly seen in His creation. In this verse, Allah SWT. calls on people who have reason to observe the universe and the changes that occur in it as proof of His existence and power, both in terms of metaphysics, cosmology, ethics and aesthetics using the tafakkur and tazakkur methods. So that through this concept, perfect reason can be realized according to Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of variations in teacher teaching styles on student learning motivation and learning outcomes. The method in this study used an quantitative method with the sample model used, namely 133 students of grade X at MAN 3 Jakarta. Data collection uses questionnaire and interview instruments compiled based on theoretical reference indicators. The results of the study show that: 1) There is a positive and significant influence of teacher teaching style on learning outcomes, indicated by (rx1y) of 0.290 and r square of 0.084; 2) There is a positive and significant influence of learning motivation on learning outcomes, indicated by (rx1y) of 0.716 and r square of 0.512; and 3) There is a positive and significant influence of teacher teaching style and motivation on learning outcomes of class X students at MAN 3 Jakarta. Contributions for positive diagram values on teaching style are 67%, learning motivation is 66% and learning outcomes are 52%. Thus, it means that the influence of the teacher's teaching style and motivation variables on learning outcomes is 51.0%. While the remaining 49% is influenced by other variables not included in this model.

Abstract

This article was written with the aim of describing the efforts of Islamic Education teachers in building students' interest in learning Islamic jurisprudence at Mts Al-Amien. This research is motivated by the importance of enhancing students' interest in learning Fiqh, an integral part of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Low learning interest can hinder the achievement of educational objectives, particularly in developing a profound understanding of religious teachings. Therefore, this study aims to examine the efforts of PAI teachers in increasing students' interest in learning Fiqh and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in the learning process at MTs Al-Amien Kota Kediri. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a field study approach. Data collection techniques include participatory observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of relevant documents. The results indicate that PAI teachers play strategic roles as educators, motivators, and evaluators, which have proven effective in increasing students' learning interest. Supporting factors include students' high curiosity about Fiqh materials, while inhibiting factors consist of students' initial lack of interest and peer distractions.

Abstract

Student management is one of the key components in the education system that plays a strategic role in improving the quality and achievement of students. This study aims to analyze the implementation of student management in a leading madrasah to enhance student achievement at MAN 2 Kota Kediri. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving various stakeholders, including the Vice Principal for Student Affairs, Guidance and Counseling teachers, Akidah Akhlak subject teachers, competition coaches, and students with academic and non-academic achievements.The results reveal that MAN 2 Kota Kediri applies effective and sustainable student management strategies through strong collaboration among the school administration, teachers, and mentors. These strategies include a rigorous student admission process, systematic achievement development programs, and continuous motivation and facilitation to support student potential. The implementation of a conducive and well-structured student management system significantly contributes to the improvement of both academic and non-academic student achievements. Therefore, MAN 2 Kota Kediri is appropriately recognized as an outstanding madrasah and a model for effective student management implementation in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan program tahfidzul Qur’an serta menganalisis implikasinya terhadap akhlak santriwati di Pondok Pesantren Hayatuddiyar Al-Islami Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada teori pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai religius dan internalisasi nilai-nilai Qur’ani dalam pembentukan akhlak peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi dengan informan utama kepala pesantren, kepala bagian tahfidz, dan musyrifah halaqah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program tahfidzul Qur’an diterapkan secara sistematis melalui tahapan tahsin, halaqah tahfidz, muroja’ah, munaqasyah, serta evaluasi berkala. Penerapan program tersebut berimplikasi positif terhadap pembentukan akhlak santriwati, baik dalam aspek kedisiplinan ibadah, tanggung jawab pribadi, sikap sosial, maupun adab terhadap orang tua, guru, dan teman sebaya. Dengan demikian, program tahfidzul Qur’an yang dilaksanakan secara terstruktur dan berkelanjutan berkontribusi dalam membentuk akhlak Qur’ani santriwati di lingkungan pesantren.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for integrating students’ moral development at the elementary (SD), junior high (SMP), and senior high school (SMA) levels with their physical, social, and intellectual development in a comprehensive manner. The research employs a library research method using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained through a systematic review of relevant national educational literature and academic journals addressing the integration of student development. The findings indicate that the integration of moral development with physical, social, and intellectual aspects can be implemented through value-based learning, the habituation of moral conduct within school culture, reflective-critical approaches in the learning process, and active student participation in religious and social activities. The implementation of these strategies is grounded in the principle of ta’dib, which emphasizes the formation of proper conduct (adab), the internalization of values, and the holistic balance of individual development. This study concludes that integrating moral development with physical, social, and intellectual aspects significantly contributes to character formation, the strengthening of spiritual independence, and the achievement of balanced personality development among students at the primary and secondary education levels.

Abstract

The digital era has brought significant transformations to education, including in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Teachers are required to enhance their technological competence, instructional innovation, and the reinforcement of students’ Islamic character. Digital transformation presents substantial challenges in delivering optimal educational services, particularly in integrating technology into the teaching and learning process. This study aims to identify the challenges faced by Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in the digital era using a qualitative descriptive method through a literature review. The findings indicate that the primary challenges include limited infrastructure and facilities, insufficient continuous professional development, low student interest in academic literacy, and the underutilization of digital-based learning media. Teachers face multidimensional challenges encompassing technological, professional, and literacy-cultural aspects. Therefore, improving the quality of education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah requires comprehensive efforts through adaptive training programs and adequate infrastructure provision to ensure that learning becomes more effective, engaging, and relevant to contemporary demands, while maintaining teachers’ roles as moral exemplars who guide students in the responsible use of technology.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Arabic language learning based on Kitab Kuning at MAN 1 Pekanbaru City and identify its implementation's supporting and inhibiting factors. This research employed a qualitative approach using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the kitab kuning learning is an innovation within the existing curriculum structure and has been designed through a systematic managerial process based on the POACE approach. In the planning stage, the process involved the preparation of teaching materials by teachers, the selection of learning content and texts (Fathul Qorib and Nashoihul Ibad), and the assignment of competent teachers capable of teaching kitab kuning. In the organizing stage, the involvement of all academic community members was crucial, including the scheduling and division of responsibilities, as well as preparing learning facilities to support the process. The implementation of learning followed general teaching procedures from apperception to closing, with the use of methods such as sorogan, qira’ah, istiqraiyyah, and individual guidance for students who faced difficulties. Supervision was carried out by the head of the madrasah and the curriculum coordinator through direct observation, regular teacher reports, and program evaluation. Meanwhile, the evaluation process included daily assessments, semester exams, and practical tests in reading Kitab Kuning. Supporting factors included the availability of the Middle Eastern specialization class program, strong institutional support, adequate learning facilities, a conducive environment (such as dormitories), and collaboration with external institutions. On the other hand, inhibiting factors involved differences in students' Arabic language backgrounds, a lack of qualified substitute teachers when the main teacher was unavailable, and the burden of other academic subjects.

Abstract

The growing concern over moral decline underscores the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in public schools, particularly in the context of Society 5.0, characterized by technological integration and shifting social values. This study employs a literature review approach to analyze the role of IRE in fostering students’ morality, with a focus on teacher competence, instructional methods, challenges, and strengthening strategies. The findings suggest that IRE contributes to mitigating moral decline through teachers’ exemplary conduct, technology-enhanced pedagogies, and reinforcement of Islamic values. However, challenges remain, including the pervasive influence of digital culture, limited student engagement, and teachers’ insufficient digital literacy. To address these issues, strengthening strategies such as teacher professional development, technology integration in IRE, and community collaboration are essential. The study concludes that optimizing IRE through a holistic approach is crucial for cultivating morally resilient generations in the era of Society 5.0.
