Abstract

Purpose- of this research is to find out how motivation could affect staff's performances. The hypothesis based on statement above is that the staff's overal performance could be affected by variable motivation. Design/methology/approach- Research conducted on starbuck wisma metropolitan building with a number of staff of 30. The method that are being used is descriptive method, historical method and documentation method. statistic method is for analyzing incoming data is a simple regression, heteroscedasticity test and coefficient correlation Findings- Based on the identification of problems and research framework, the research results are formulated as employee motivation as reflected by the dimensions of motives, expectations, and incentives affect the quality of employee performance and higher employee motivation as reflected by the dimensions of motives, expectations, and incentives, the higher also the quality of the performance, as reflected by the dimensions of speed, accuracy, and promptness. Research limitations- The total of respondent is limited, yet at the single company as object of research. Practical implications- direct financial rewards is preferable to be given by management to increase motivation and performance of the emloyeess as the output.

Abstract

Purpose- of this study is to findout the effet of compensation on work motivation at Starbuck Jakarta Design/methology/approach- There are 90 respondents with questionnaire. The method that are being used is descriptive method, historical method and documentation method. statistic method is for analyzing incoming data is a simple regression. Findings- Compensation has a direc t effect on Barista’s work motivation that need to be paid attention by management. Research limitations-Limitation on occupation as all of respondents are baristas. Practical implications- It is good for management to pay more attention to other reward aiming to extend employees’ retention

Abstract

Purpose- aiming of this research is to provide guidelines for management on how to keep staff motivated in achieving company goals. Design/methology/approach- Repondents are 50 persons the whole staffs of Restoran FJ Grill Kemang Village. In this research the descriptive analysis is applied. Findings- Motivation and work environment hyave contributed to work performance in a moderate scale. There are more variables needed to solve the problem. Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to determine the Motivation and Leadership on Employee Performance at JS Luwansa Hotel Jakarta. This research was conducted by survey method for 1 month at JS Luwansa Hotel Jakarta Design/methology/approach-There are 2 independent variables namely Motivation and Leadership and the dependent variable is Employee Performance. Analytical methods used are multiple linear regression, partial test with test, correlation coefficient and coefficient of determination. Findings- Results of research by analyzing using SPSS 20 found that Motivation and Leadership have significant effect on performance both simultaneously and partially. Where the ability of variables Motivation and Work Environment simultaneously explain the performance is equal to 16,81%. The remaining 83,19% is explained by other variables which not mentioned in this research model. Originality – At this premise, this is useful for management to maintain motivation aspects and work environment, too.

Abstract

Purpose- This research aims to know the impact of work environment and compensation on employee’s motivation at a division of Directorate General of Air Transportation. Design/methology/approach- The research conducted a survey by the questionnaire to the employees. Totally there were 20 respondents as samples in this research for the validity test. By non probability sampling method, the respondents are 65 persons. The method on analysis by descriptive. To examine the impact of work motivation and work environment, the author used multiple linear regression analysis with F test and t test. Findings- The results. by t-test, it was found that the work environment had a significant impact on the improvement of work motivation of the employees. While work environment variable can increase work motivation. Compensation also affects the employee's work motivation . While, both variables, simultaneously, found that Work Environmen and Compensation have significantly contributed to work motivation. Other factors include leadership, quality of human resources, organizational culture, work performance, are not included in this research that need to a further research. Originality – At this Government Agency, the two variables are in need to support productivity of employees.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and motivation on the performance of Royal Hotel employees Design/methologi/approach- The type of data in this study is primary or data derived from the respondent. Data collection can be through questionnaire instrument. Population in this research is employee of Royal Hotel operational with sample 100 responden and purposely (Purposive Sampling). The method of analysis using descriptive and quantitative methods. Findings-The result of research to partial variable, t value bigger than t table, hence show and indicate there is positive and significant influence between compensation and motivation to performance of Royal Hotel employee. While the percentage of influence on compensation and motivation given to Royal Hotel employees of 11.8% while the rest is influenced by other variables such as leadership, work environment and others.

Abstract

Purpose- The purpose of this study was to determine whether the work environment and work discipline affect the performance of employees in Redstar Hotel Jakarta. Design/methology/approach- Data were collected by using questionaire distributed to 100 respondents that use non probability sampling techniques were analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis. Data were processed by using SPSS Windows version 2.0. Analysis technique used is multiple linear regression test, F test, t test, correlation coefficients and coefficients of determination. Findings- The results showed that working environment and working discipline have significantly effected on performance either partially and simultaneously Research limitations- Other variablke such as motivation and compensation were not included due to a certain difficulty.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to determine the job satisfaction, motivation and dicipline affect simultaneously and partially to employee performance Design/methology/approach- The population in this research is Employee at Hotel Gran Melia Jakarta. The sample used in this study is the employee of 100 people, sampling technique used is the accidental sampling. Data analysis tools used in this research are multiple linear regression, validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test (normality test, multicolinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and linearity test). While testing hypothesis include test F, t test, and partial correlation analysis and coefficient of determination (R2). Findings- From the analysis can be seen that job satisfaction, motivation and dicipline have an influence on employee performance partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to determine the effect of compensation, motivation and work environment on employee performance of North Jakarta Holland Bakery Central. Design/methodology/approach- In this study, the authors conducted a survey by distributing questionnaires to the employees of Holland Bakery Central North Jakarta. The number of samples in this study there are as many as 100 employees obtained by using non-random sampling technique coincidence, in which respondents who become samples are employees who are willing to fill in the questionnaire. After doing the questionnaire. For descriptive analysis method, writer use percentage analysis and mean. To test the effect of compensation, motivation and work environment, the author uses multiple linear regression analysis with F test and t test. Findings- The results of the research show the three variables together affect the performance of employees of Holland Bakery Central Jakarta North. By using t test, it was found that compensation gave significant effect to the improvement of employee's performance of North Jakarta's North Jakarta Bakery is 5.62%, while the motivation also affect the employee's performance of North Jakarta's North Jakarta Bakery is 9.24%. Work environment variables also affect the employee's performance of North Jakarta Bakery North Jakarta is 19.80%. If the three variables simultaneously found the ability of the three variables to explain the diversity of performance is 45.56%, other factors of 54.44% are not discussed in this study, including leadership style, skills, communication, training, and organizational culture, and other things .

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to determine the influence of competence and work discipline on the performance of employee in PT. Dasar Rukun. Design/methodology/approach- Variable in this research consisting of the independent variable are competence and work discipline the dependent variable is the employee performance. The kind of data that would check the primary data. A population that used in this research was all the employees PT. Dasar Rukun. Data were collected and analyzed using SPSS versions 20. Findings- The results showed that the competence and work discipline has positive and significant effect on employee performance. This means the employee's performance will be better if they have higher competence and discipline and employability.
