Abstract

Purpose- This research is meant to find out and to analyze the influence of compensation and work motivation to the performance of the employees. Design/methodology/approach- The data used is primary data obtained from questionnaires given 100 respondents drawn.The data analysis technique has been done by using multiple linear regression analysis and the hypothesis test has been done by using t test. Findings- The result of the test shows that the compensation has significant and positive influence to the performance of the employees, it has been proven by the positive coefficient regression value which is 0.648 and the significant value of t test is smaller than 0.05 which is 0.000. The motivation has significant and positive influence to the performance of the employees, it has been proven by the positive regression coefficient value which is 0.179 and the significance value of t test is smaller than 0.05 which is 0.016. Compensation and motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance in strong category. This is due to the correlation coefficient of 0.610 with coefficient of determination of 37.21%.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aimed to determine the effect of the variabel leadership and motivation on employee Perfomance at Crowne Plaza Hotel Jakarta. Design/methodology/approach- The population used in this study are employee of Crowne Plaza Jakarta. The method of analysis used in this study is the Multiple Linear Regression Test with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version 20. Sample using accidential methode. Data were collected through questionnaires, then analyzed statistically. Findings- The result showed that the variation in the independent variable (leadership and motivation) used in this study is able to explain 84.64% of variation in the dependent variable (employee perfomance). While the remaining 16,36% which is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to determine the motivation and work environment to have a partial or simultaneous effect on employee performance in Chili’s restaurant Jakarta. Design/methodology/approach- The population in this study were all employees in the Chili's restaurant in Jakarta, with the sample used in this study as many as 100 people. The data analysis method used in this study is the validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and linearity test). While testing hypotheses includes F test, t test, and partial correlation analysis and coefficient of determination (R2). Findings- From the analysis of the correlation (r) and the coefficient of determination (R2) showed a significant effect between motivation and work performance, with a very weak category of 17,6%. The working environment have a significant effect on performance, with a weak category of 22,7%. Motivation and work environment simultaneously significant effect on work performance, with category at 35,7%. The higher motivation and a good working environment, appropiate and adequate hence increasing also the work performance that can be provided by employees on the company.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to determine the effect of leadership, motivation and work teams on employee performance at Neo Hotel Mangga Dua Square Design/methodology/approach- The type of data in this study is primary or data originating from respondents who contain respondents' opinions about the dimensions of leadership, motivation, work team and performance. Data collection can be through the questionnaire instrument. The population in this study were all Neo Hotel Mangga Dua Square employees with a sample of 100 respondents and using saturated samples. The method of analysis uses descriptive and quantitative methods. Finding- The results of research on partial variables, the value of t count is greater than t table, then Ha shows and states there is a positive and significant influence between leadership, motivation and team work to the performance. While the percentage of influence on the leadership, motivation and team work on employee performance at Neo Hotel Mangga Dua Square amounted to 26.21%, while the rest influenced by other variables such as planning factors, organizing factors and others.

Abstract

Purpose- The major problem in managing employee is compensation scheme. This study aims to determine the independent variable communication, motivation, and compensation to the dependent variable of employee performance in PT. Bakrie Metal Industries. Design/methodology/approach- The study was conducted by using quantitative descriptive technique. The population in this study are employees of the production and engineering departement in PT. Bakrie Metal Industries as much as 232 employees with a sample of 147 using the slovin formula. The sample used in nonprobability sampling with accidental sample technique. The test results were analyzed with multiple linear regression method using SPSS Statistics 20. The analysis technique used includes of test the validity and reliability, the classic assumption test in the form of normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing in the form of test f, t-test, correlation (R) and the coefficient of determination (R2). Findings- The results showed that unsignificant difference between the communication to performance of employee, motivation have significant effect on performance of employee, and compensation have significant effect on customer satisfaction in PT. Bakrie Metal Industries.

Abstract

Purpose- To find out the effect of leadership and compensation on employee performance in. dunkindo lestari branch of kalimalang. Design/methodology/approach- In this study, the authors conducted a survey by distributing questionnaires to employees of PT.Dunkindo Lestari Kalimalang Branch. The number of samples to this research is as many as 100 employees obtained by non-random sampling technique coincidence, in which respondents who are samples are employees who are willing to fill out a questionnaire. After doing the questionnaire. For descriptive analysis method, writer use percentage analysis and mean. To test the influence of leadership and compensation, the author uses linear regression analysis with the test d and F test. Findings- The results of the research show the two variables together affect employee performance in PT.Dunkindo Lestari Kalimalang Branch. By using t test, it is found that leadership give significant influence to the improvement of employee performance at PT.Dunkindo Lestari Kalimalang Branch is15.27%, while compensation also affect to employee performance at PT.Dunkindo Lestari Kalimalang Branch. The ability of the 11.77% compensation variable to explain the performance diversity is 37.5%. If both variables simultaneously found the ability of both variables to explain the diversity of performance is 37.5%, other factors of 62.5% are not discussed in this study, such as work environment, human resource quality, organizational culture, corporate governance, competencies, rewards and factors others that are not discussed by researchers.

Abstract

Design/methodology/approach- to find out the influence of leadership and work performance through motivational variables both partially and simultaneously at the Gran Melia Jakarta hotel. Findings- From this analysis we can see that leadership has a significant influence on performance through motivation partially or simultaneously. Meanwhile, work discipline does not have a significant effect on performance through motivational variables.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aim is to determine the motivation and work environment effect partially or simultaneously to work productivity in housekeeping and front office department at Borobudur Jakarta hotel. Design/methology/approach- The population in this study are employees in housekeeping and front office department at Borobudur Jakarta Hotel. the samples used in this study as many as 100 people. The sampling technique used was non probability sampling. Methods of data analysis used in this study is to test the validity, reliability test, classic assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity test and linearity test). Findings- While testing the hypothesis includes the F-test, t test and partial correlation analysis and the coefficient of determination (R²). From the analysis it can be seen that Motivation variable and work environment variable has an influence on the work productivity either partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

Purpose- The purpose of this study was to determine effect of conflict and job satisfaction on the performance of employees in PT.Anugrah Tour SemestaJakarta. Design/methology/approach- This primary research conducted over 3 months of May to July 2016. The study is in use accidental sampling and immediately gave questionnaires to 20 respondents from 80 respondents. This study used multiple linear regression to analyze the research data. Findings- The results showed that: (1) the conflict have a positive influence and significant impact on the performance of employees (2) job satisfaction has a significant influence on employee performance and (3) conflict and job satisfaction simultaneously positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at PT. anugrah Tour Semesta Research limitations- The limited variables included in this research Practical implications- The problem of latent conflicts shall be soulved immediately
