Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of customer satisfaction on product quality and price on repurchase intention. The population of this study was Holland Bakery customers inJakarta. Methodology: The sample in this study was 160 customers of Holland Bakery in Jakarta. The data analysis method used was Structural Partial Least Squares-Equation Model (PLS-SEM). Findings: The results of the study show that product quality and price perception influence customer satisfaction (Agneset al.,2025) and (Muthi & Utama, 2023) but product quality does not affect repurchase interest (Rahmawan & Irmawati, 2024) and (Azizet al., 2023). Green packagingdoes not affect customer satisfaction but does affect repurchase intention (Arianty & Ariska, 2023). Customer satisfaction influences repurchase intention (Kotler & Keller, 2022). Customer satisfaction can mediate the influence of product quality and price perception by full mediation (Kartikaet al., 2023) and (Muthi & Utama, 2023), however customer satisfaction is not able to mediate the influencegreen packagingon repurchase intention. Conclusion: Product quality and price perception have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, but green packaging does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, product quality and price perception do not have a significant effect on repurchase intention, but green packaging and customer satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention. Customer satisfaction is able to mediate the influence of product quality and price perception on repurchase intention positively and significantly, but customer satisfaction is not able to mediate the influence between green packaging on repurchase intention.

Abstract

Sustainability issues and the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles have become a major concern in the modern banking sector in order to ensure stable long-term performance. Amidst industry competition and the digitalisation of financial services, banks are required to not only pursue profitability, but also maintain a balance between employee welfare and environmental sustainability. In the context of sustainable performance, green organisational culture, green transformational leadership, and perceived organisational support are important factors that influence sustainable employee performance, with artificial intelligence adaptation acting as a mediating variable. Objectives: This study aims to analyse the influence of green organisational culture, green transformational leadership, and perceived organisational support on sustainable employee performance at PT Bank BRI Pluit Branch, with artificial intelligence adaptation as a mediating variable in the perspective of sustainable business. Methodology: A quantitative survey was conducted using non probability purposive sampling, involving 119 respondents. The data were analyzed with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) Finding: The results of the study indicate that green organisational culture, green transformational leadership, and perceived organisational support have a positive and significant effect on sustainable employee performance. The mediation test results show that artificial intelligence adaptation is unable to mediate the influence between leadership and organisational support on sustainable performance. Conclusion : AI technology has been adopted, but its effectiveness in improving performance still depends heavily on the readiness of human resources and the integration of work culture. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that the management of PT Bank BRI Pluit Branch improve digital literacy and align workloads with organisational support in order to maintain consistent employee performance.

Abstract

Objectives: Power plant reliability and sustainability are critical factors in ensuring a stable electricity supply. PLTU Suralaya Units 5–7, one of the largest coal-fired power plants in Indonesia’s Java–Bali system, has experienced increasing operational disturbances and rising maintenance costs due to suboptimal budget allocation. This study aims to analyze strategies to enhance power plant reliability and sustainability through maintenance budget optimization and investment in LED lighting technology. Methodology: This research employs a mixed-method case study approach integrating qualitative and quantitative analyses. Data were obtained from operational reports, maintenance budget records, disturbance logs, and field observations. Analytical tools include SWOT analysis, IFE–EFE matrices, and time series analysis to evaluate performance before and after optimization implementation. Finding: The results indicate that maintenance budget optimization based on asset criticality improves preventive maintenance effectiveness, reduces forced outages, and enhances reliability performance. Additionally, LED lighting investment reduces internal energy consumption, lowers operational costs, and minimizes hazardous waste from conventional lighting systems. Conclusion: This study concludes that integrating maintenance budget optimization with LED investment effectively improves reliability, cost efficiency, and sustainability performance. The findings provide a practical managerial framework for power plant operators seeking to enhance operational performance while supporting sustainability objectives.

Abstract

Objectives: To examine the effects of ESG disclosure, business risk (DOL), dividend policy (DPR), and capital structure (DER) on firm value (PBV), with profitability (ROE) as a mediating variable, in telecommunications companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Methodology: The research employs a Quantitative explanatory research using balanced panel data (2020–2024). Data from 9 telecommunications companies were analyzed using panel data regression with the Random Effect Model, complemented by the Sobel test for mediation. Findings: The results indicate that ESG disclosure negatively affects firm value, business risk has a weak positive effect, dividend policy negatively affects firm value, and capital structure positively influences firm value. Profitability significantly increases firm value and mediates only the effect of capital structure. Conclusion: The study concludes that firm value in Indonesia’s telecommunications sector is primarily driven by capital structure and profitability. ESG initiatives and dividend payout decisions do not enhance valuation unless aligned with growth and financial performance.

Abstract

Objectives: This study aims to analyze the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), social media, and perceived value on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable in fast-food MSMEs, namely Sukaku Fried Chicken. Methodology: This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method with purposive sampling. Data were collected from 163 respondents and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Finding: The results show that CSR, social media, and perceived value have a significant positive effect on customer loyalty. CSR has no significant effect on customer satisfaction, while social media and perceived value significantly increase customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction significantly increases customer loyalty and mediates the effect of social media and perceived value on customer loyalty. However, customer satisfaction does not mediate the effect of CSR on customer loyalty. Conclusion: Based on Expectancy Confirmation Theory (ECT), perceived value that consistently meets customer expectations will enhance satisfaction as the primary determinant of loyalty, wherein the influence of social media and perceived value on loyalty occurs through the mediation of customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of sustainability practices in increasing competitiveness in Indonesia, especially in the hospitality industry, with a primary focus on strategies for managing food waste generated by hotels. Globally, awareness of environmental issues is growing very well, and the hospitality industry (horeca: hotels, restaurants, cafes) is expected to contribute significantly to sustainability activities but also improve its position in the market. Through a quantitative method approach with a sample of 214 hotels in Jabodetabek, it is hoped that this study can analyse the sustainability initiatives that have been carried out to date and the resulting impacts, especially their influence on increasing business process efficiency, customer satisfaction and brand reputation. Market pressure, internal business processes and food waste mitigation, as well as hotel commitment to Sustainable Development are key factors measured in this study. The research findings show that hotels that are actively involved in food waste mitigation show improved operational performance, cost savings, and increased customer loyalty. In addition, this study identifies key factors that facilitate the successful implementation of sustainability practices, including staff contributions to business process efficiency, stakeholder engagement in production processes, and the use of technology that can provide hotel operational efficiency. This research contributes to the understanding of how sustainable practices can serve as a competitive advantage in the hospitality industry in the future, and offers practical recommendations for hotel management and policymakers to promote a more sustainable and resilient hospitality sector in Indonesia and globally. This study recommends that the government develop incentive policies for hotels that implement food waste mitigation practices and require sustainability certification as a hotel operational requirement. Hotel management needs to integrate waste tracking and AI forecasting technology, strengthen employee training, and build collaboration with food banks for the redistribution of food suitable for consumption

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital organizations requires the strengthening of professional culture and work ethics to ensure long-term business sustainability. However, the implementation of Strategic Human Resource Practices (SHRPs) in supporting this transformation remains inconsistent, particularly in rapidly expanding digital firms. Objectives: This study aims to explore the form and implementation of Strategic Human Resource Practices in building professional culture and work ethics, as well as to identify internal and external factors influencing their effectiveness in achieving business sustainability. Methodology: This research adopts a qualitative case study approach at PT Yuxi Jayatama Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, organizational observations, and document analysis. Thematic analysis supported by NVivo was employed to identify patterns related to HR strategic alignment, leadership reinforcement, policy consistency, and cultural institutionalization. Finding: The findings indicate that SHRPs contribute significantly to shaping professional culture through structured HR systems, leadership commitment, and ethical reinforcement mechanisms. However, rapid organizational expansion, generational workforce characteristics, and inconsistent supervision create implementation gaps that moderate HR effectiveness. Conclusion: This study proposes a Strategic Human Resource Transformation Model that positions SHRPs as the foundational driver of cultural institutionalization and ethical reinforcement, demonstrating that sustainable business development in digital organizations depends on consistent strategic alignment rather than formal policy existence alone.

Abstract

Objectives: analyze the effects of green leadership and green competence on green project management, with environmental awareness as a mediating variable and green organizational culture as a moderating variable at PT Cipta Griya Semesta. Methodology: Quantitative, causality design. Population: employees of PT Cipta Griya Semesta; sample: 125 purposively selected respondents (permanent and contract employees directly involved in projects). Analysis used SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 4.0 Finding: Six of eight hypotheses were supported. Green leadership and green competence had positive and significant direct effects on green project management and also significantly affected environmental awareness. Environmental awareness positively influenced green project management and mediated the relationship between green leadership and green project management (H6 accepted). However, environmental awareness did not mediate the effect of green competence on green project management (H7 rejected). Green organizational culture did not moderate the relationship between environmental awareness and green project management (H8 rejected). Conclusion: Green competence appears to improve project outcomes directly without relying on environmental awareness as an intermediary, while green organizational culture functions as an independent predictor rather than a moderator.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of competency and transformational leadership on sustainable employee performance through innovative behavior at Politeknik Pelayaran Banten. The research addresses the challenge of sustaining employee performance amid dynamic organizational changes by emphasizing long-term capability development rather than short-term productivity. A quantitative approach was employed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees, measuring four constructs: competency, transformational leadership, innovative behavior, and sustainable employee performance. All indicators demonstrated strong validity and reliability (outer loadings > 0.70). The findings reveal that competency and transformational leadership positively and significantly affect sustainable employee performance, both directly and indirectly through innovative behavior. Transformational leadership shows a stronger influence in stimulating innovation and sustaining performance. Innovative behavior significantly mediates the relationship between competency, leadership, and sustainable performance. The study concludes that developing employee competencies and strengthening transformational leadership are strategic drivers for fostering innovation and ensuring long-term sustainable performance. Organizations are therefore encouraged to implement competency-based human resource development and promote visionary leadership to enhance organizational sustainability.
