Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching modules based on differentiated learning on statistical material on the learning styles of Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Belimbing that are valid, practical, and effective. This research is a development research that refers to the model according to Brog and Gall which is modified into 7 steps, namely (1) potentials and problems (2) data collection (3) product design (4) design validation (5) design revision (6) trial product (7) product revision. The instruments used were validation sheets, questionnaires and posttests. Questionnaires are used for expert validation, teacher and student responses, and posttest questions. This study produced teaching modules based on differentiated learning towards student learning styles with a validity level of 81.5% with very valid criteria, teacher and student response questionnaire results with an average of 93.05% with very practical criteria and student posttest results of 75% with effective criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the initial description of the learning process and students' understanding of mathematics, especially the flat side building material, the initial product, validity, practicality and effectiveness as well as the final product of the BanG AR pocket book and application on flat sided space build material. The subjects in this study were mathematics teachers and students in class VI I I F of SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak, totaling 14 students. The method used in this research is the Research & Development method (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The results of the research that has been carried out show that the development of pocket book learning media and the BanG AR application supports the teaching and learning process at the school. Based on the assessment of media and material experts on the pocket book and the BanG AR application, a combined index percentage of 90% with very valid criteria was obtained. Teacher responses obtained an average score of 4.83 with very practical criteria, and student responses obtained an average score of 4.27 with very practical criteria. And the effectiveness of obtaining an index presentation of 78.57% of students passed the posttest after learning to use the pocket book and the BanGAR application . This shows that the developed BanG AR pocket book and application are valid, practical, and effective for use in the mathematics learning process, especially in the material of flat sided spaces.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran aplikasi Molemath terhadap Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) pada materi bentuk aljabar kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Batu Ampar yang mencapai tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan, keefektifan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model rancangan pengembangan ADDIE, yang terdiri atas lima tahapan pokok, yaitu analisys (analisis), design (perancangan), development (pengembangan), implementation (penerapan), dan evaluation (evaluasi). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Batu Ampar sebanyak 22 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, angket, dan soal pre-test posttest. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kevalidan media pembelajaran aplikasi Molemath terhadap HOTS dalam materi bentuk aljabar dikategorikan sangat valid, kepraktisan media pembelajaran aplikasi Molemath terhadap HOTS dalam materi bentuk aljabar dikategorikan sangat praktis, dan media pembelajaran aplikasi Molemath terhadap HOTS dalam materi bentuk aljabar dikategorikan efektif.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a learning media application Molemath against Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) on algebra form material grade VII SM State 7 Batu Ampar that reaches a level of validity, practicality, effectiveness. The research uses the ADDIE development design model, which consists of five basic stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. (evaluasi). The subjects in this study are students of the 7th grade of the State High School 7 Stone Ampar as many as 22 students. The instruments used in this study are validation sheets, lifts, and pre-test questions posttest. The results of the research have been obtained that the validity of the learning media of the Molemath application against HOTS in algebraic form material categorized is very valid, the practicality of the molemath learning media against HOTs in algebric forms categorized material is very practical, and the learning medium of the молematic application against the HOTS of algebraical form materials categorized effectively

Abstract

This research aims to determine students' involvement and responses in solving non-routine questions on circle material. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method in the form of case study research. This research was carried out in class VIII of Santa Ursula Gunung Tamang Middle School involving 5 students as research subjects who were taken using Purposive Sampling techniques with the selected categories including one student with involvement and response in the good category, one student with involvement in the sufficient category, one student with involvement in the less category, one student with a response in the sufficient category and one student with a response in the less category. The data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that student involvement and response in the good category get a satisfactory score, namely a score above the KKM and can fulfill 4 indicators of problem solving in non-routine questions, student involvement and response in the adequate category get a value that is inversely proportional to where student involvement in the category enough to get a score above the KKM and can almost fulfill 4 indicators of problem solving in non-routine questions, while student responses in the sufficient category get a score below the KKM and can only fulfill several indicators of problem solving in non-routine questions, and student involvement and responses in the category get less grades which are both below the KKM and can only fulfill 2 problem solving indicators in non-routine question.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada materi bilangan bulat, untuk mengetahui kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think-talk-write (TTW) pada materi bilangan bulat, untuk mengetahui kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think-talk-write (TTW) lebih baik dari siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada materi bilangan bulat. Populasi di dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Yakhalusti Pontianak dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh dan tetap diperoleh kelas VII A dan VII B. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dan bentuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Experimental Design) serta pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Talk-Write (TTW) tidak lebih baik dari pada kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Akan tetapi, dapat dilihat dari rata-rata hasil post-test menunjukkan kelas eksperimen memiliki rata-rata lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Hal tersebut dapat disebabkan karna siswa terbiasa dengan pembelajaran konvensional yang dimana siswa hanya menerima pelajaran dari guru sehingga proses keterlibatan siswa dalam menentukan materi akan dipelajari dan akan menghubungkan dengan situasi kehidupan nyata, dengan materi lain, dan dengan pelajaran yang belom optimal. Abstract

This research aims to carry out research and development to produce products and find out the feasibility of developing these products. The product produced is in the form of module teaching materials, namely geography teaching materials based on character education on environmental material. The problem formulation in this research is to determine the suitability of the teaching materials being developed. In this research, the test subjects were students of SMA Negeri 1 Embaloh Hlir, Kapuas Hulu Regency who were in class X with a total of 28 students. This research and development refers to the model according to Borg and Gall with research and development steps through 4 stages or what is called a 4-D model which has been modified into a 3-D model, namely defining, designing and developing in stages without carrying out stages. The final stage is the dissemination stage. The research instruments used were material and media expert validation as well as student response questionnaires to determine the suitability of teaching materials. This research produced teaching materials in the form of modules by obtaining a feasibility level from material experts of 80%, media experts of 78% and student responses of 83%.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted with the aim of describing students' problem solving abilities on number pattern HOTS questions. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. The subjects in this research were 6 out of 21 students in class VIII D at SMP Negeri 1 Teriak, each of whom had high, medium and low problem solving abilities. The indicators of problem solving ability according to Polya are: 1) Understanding the problem, 2) Making a resolution plan, 3) Carrying out a resolution plan, 4) Reviewing the resolution plan. The results of this research show that there are 5 students with high level problem solving abilities, 13 students with medium level problem solving abilities and 3 students with low level problem solving abilities. Abstract

Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development dengan rancangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan menurut Borg and Gall. Menurut Borg and Gall yang terdiri dari 7 langkah yang dilaksanakan diantaranya. (1) Potensi Masalah, (2) Pengumpulan Data, (3) Desain Produk, (4) Validasi desain, (5) Revisi desain, (6) Uji coba produk, (7) Revisi produk. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Mempawah Hulu. Adapun subjek penelitian adalah kelas VII berjumlah 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah komunikasi tak langsung dan teknik pengukuran. Sedangkan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi ahli media dan materi, angket respon guru dan siswa, dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Untuk teknik analisis data yang ada dalam penelitian ini berupa kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang sudah dipaparkan sebelumnya, secara umu dapat disimpulkan bahwa booklet layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Tingkat kevalidan booklet mencapai kriteria sangat valid dengan kevalidan media mencapai 86,66% dan kevalidan materi mencapai 86,98%. Tingkat kepraktisan booklet mencapai kriteria sangat praktis melalui angket respon guru yang mencapai 95,2% dan angket respon siswa mencapai 92,7%. Tingkat keefektifan booklet mencapai kriteria efektif melalui hasil posttest yang mencapai 62,5%.
