Abstract

Traditional gold mining in Lebong Tambang Village, Lebong Regency, has long been a major source of community income and has driven the growth of MSMEs in artisanal mining equipment trade. This study analyzes the key determinants of business success and formulates sustainable development strategies for artisanal mining areas. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review and document analysis of government reports and scientific publications, the study examines market opportunities, business challenges, and relevant strategies for mining equipment MSMEs. The findings identify four main success factors: partnerships with local miners, improved product quality and after-sales service, digital marketing utilization, and the application of safety and environmental principles in equipment production. Despite strong development potential, MSMEs face challenges including limited capital, legal constraints related to artisanal mining, and occupational safety risks. Overall, the mining equipment trade in Lebong Regency has significant growth prospects if supported by collaboration, product innovation, and supportive regulations and financing, contributing to sustainable local economic development and improved community welfare.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the “KALCER” (Run Fast, Run; If Tired, Find Ice) running community has transformed Arga Makmur Square into a lively public space and a center for creative economy. This article analyzes the symbiotic relationship between running activities and the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the surrounding area. The research uses a qualitative approach with participatory observation and in-depth interviews. The results show that KALCER acts as a catalyst by providing a guaranteed and friendly market for MSMEs, especially in the culinary sector. Conversely, the presence of various MSMEs increases the attractiveness and recreational value of the running event. This symbiosis not only boosts local economic income but also revitalizes the social function of the town square as an inclusive and dynamic public space. This study concludes that collaboration between hobby communities and local MSMEs can be an effective model for circular economic development and the revitalization of public spaces in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors affecting Generation Z’s interest in investing in cryptocurrency in Bengkulu City. The factors examined in this study include financial literacy, profit motivation, and risk perception. This research uses a quantitative approach with an associative method. The sample consists of 120 Generation Z respondents aged 18–28 years who have an interest or experience in cryptocurrency investment. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed online using Google Forms and measured using a Likert scale. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS software, including validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results of the study show that financial literacy, profit motivation, and risk perception have a positive and significant effect on Generation Z’s interest in cryptocurrency investment, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination indicates that a substantial proportion of the variation in investment interest can be explained by these three variables, while the remaining variation is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These findings indicate that higher financial literacy, stronger profit motivation, and appropriate risk perception can increase Generation Z’s interest in cryptocurrency investment. Therefore, improving financial literacy and risk awareness among Generation Z is important to encourage more rational and responsible investment decisions.

Hypothesis testing makes use of partial tests, simultaneous tests, correlation coefficients, and classical assumption tests, among others. Find out how return on equity, inventory turnover, and gross profit margin affect profit growth in wholesale trade subsector enterprises listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange using simultaneous testing. Partial testing found that among the factors influencing Profit Growth in the wholesale trade subsector of firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Return on Equity, Inventory Turnover, and Gross Profit Margin were partially significant. This indicates that the ability of the organization to control profit margins, optimize inventory turnover, and use capital effectively is a critical component in fostering profit growth.
