Abstract

This research has the main objective to conduct an in-depth analysis related to the application of Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM) to the Ao Daifuku mochi business, which is one of the Student Activity Units (UKM) engaged in the culinary field. The approach used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach, focusing on understanding and evaluating the extent to which SAK EMKM is applied in Ao Daifuku's financial practices. The object of this research mainly includes an analysis of the financial statements, including the profit and loss and balance sheet of Ao Daifuku's business over a three-month period. The research aims to reveal in detail the process of preparing financial statements and the extent to which Ao Daifuku's financial practices conform to the guidelines set by SAK EMKM. The results show that, although Ao Daifuku has made efforts in recording information on business income and expenses for three months, the preparation of their financial statements still does not fully comply with the EMKM Financial Accounting Standards. This limitation in financial practices can be identified as the main obstacle faced by Ao Daifuku. Thus, this study not only provides an overview of the implementation of SAK EMKM at Ao Daifuku, but also identifies potential remedial measures that can be taken to improve the quality of financial reporting and achieve full conformity with the standard.

Abstract

The development of the food business is currently experiencing quite rapid growth. The reason is that more and more new foods are emerging and innovating. One of them is the sweet mochi food business "Ao Daifuku" or blue mochi which has a theme from the land of Japanese cherry blossoms. This research was conducted to explore the application of finished goods inventory planning and control in the "Ao Daifuku" mochi business which includes preparing stock of goods ready for sale, handling and sales progress, reporting data on remaining stock of finished raw materials with existing physical goods. The purpose of this writing is to determine the application of planning, controlling finished goods inventory and improving operational efficiency and business feasibility. Through in-depth field observations and practice, the author analyzes the concrete steps taken by the Ao Daifuku mochi business in finished product stock management, production processes and distribution. These findings provide deep insight into how an integrated inventory control strategy can bring significant improvements in operational efficiency, optimize product availability, and strengthen Ao Daifuku's position in the culinary industry.

Abstract

This research is an in-depth analysis of the effectiveness of digital marketing strategies as a key instrument in increasing sales of risoles, particularly within the framework of the Student Creativity Program (PKM-K). The main focus of this research is to identify and evaluate the impact of the PKM-K program's contribution to increasing the visibility and consumer acceptance of risoles products. The research method applied involved careful analysis of sales data, including revenue results and total sales of risoles of each variant, with particular emphasis on exploring and implementing digital marketing strategies that support the promotion and distribution of Risol Hap risoles. The findings of this study reveal that the PKM-K program plays a significant role in opening up new opportunities for increased sales, and that digital marketing is an effective catalyst in reaching and building relationships with the target market. The word "PKM-K" is consistently at the core of this investigation, confirming that the sale of risoles is one of the initiatives of the program. This emphasis on the role of the PKM-K program provides an additional dimension to the study, by illustrating how students' creative achievements not only enrich academic aspects but also create a positive impact in the realm of marketing and selling culinary products such as risoles. By providing in-depth insights, this research makes a valuable contribution to the further development of the PKM-K program.

Abstract

The cacao plant, Theobroma cacao, is the source of cocoa beans that play a crucial role as the basic ingredient in chocolate manufacturing. In addition to its existence as a food product, chocolate also has a significant economic impact in various countries. The process of fermenting and drying cocoa beans into ready-to-consume chocolate has been ongoing since ancient times to the modern era, signifying its unbeatable popularity as well as ever-growing opportunities for culinary innovation. In this context, this study devotes attention to the development of gluten-free chocolate beverage products as a strategy to diversify products and improve the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Wonocolo District. The focus on health and affordable prices are the main points in the effort to create products that not only satisfy consumer tastes but also support healthy lifestyles. This research not only seeks to identify the marketing potential of gluten-free chocolate drink products, but also analyzes the most effective marketing methods, with an emphasis on digital platforms as the main tool to reach the target market. The results highlighted that residents of Wonocolo Sub-district, Surabaya, showed a positive response to the product innovation, signaling a large market potential in the area. Through this approach, it is expected that the development of gluten free chocolate beverage products will not only positively impact MSMEs in Wonocolo Sub-district, but also trigger a wider consumption trend of innovative chocolate products, which in turn can open up further opportunities for innovation in the culinary industry.

Abstract

Sambal Cumi and Paru by Dapoer Zambal is a new instant food business established in 2023. Not many people know about this business because it is still very new. In addition, there are many competitors working on the same business and are already successful. This study was conducted to determine whether the right competitive strategy can increase the sales of Dapoer Zambal's Sambal Cumi and Paru. For this study, a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats approach was used as a descriptive qualitative methodology. The analysis results show that improving customer service and adding new menu variations are the most effective competitive approaches to increase sales.

Abstract

The food industry plays a crucial role in meeting the basic human needs for food. To ensure a stable, safe, and high-quality food supply, effective supply chain management in the food industry is essential. This research utilizes a case study approach, focusing on the North Surabaya branch office of BULOG using descriptive analysis methods. Data collected for this study will include primary data through interviews and secondary data obtained from relevant previous research. The importance of efficiency and effectiveness in the supply chain is the goal of analyzing and optimizing the supply chain and value chain of the North Surabaya branch office of BULOG. The value chain involves adding value through various activities such as processing, packaging, and marketing. This research emphasizes the significant role played by Perum BULOG Divre North Surabaya in the context of the food industry, which is also part of Perum BULOG. As a Logistics Agency, it is responsible for the distribution activities and the process of distributing staple food in Indonesia.

Abstract

In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has become a very successful modern technology, often associated with human creativity. The Creative Digital Content with Artificial Intelligence training organized by STIE Mahardhika Surabaya and the Mojokerto City Library and Archives Service aims to raise the awareness and skills of participants in using AI to create innovative digital content. The method of implementation included lectures, discussions, and practical sessions. Despite facing some obstacles such as the constraints of computer devices and internet connections, the evaluations of the participants showed high satisfaction and great interest in this training. The results included improved knowledge and skills of participants in the use of AI for literacy and educational activities, as well as increased creativity and innovation in the creation of digital content.

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of a coastal community empowerment program aimed at raising awareness of the importance of conserving natural resources in coastal areas. The program utilizes a participatory approach that integrates local knowledge with modern conservation practices to achieve sustainable goals. The research method used is a qualitative approach that involves active participation of coastal communities in all stages of the program. Data is collected through participatory observation, interviews, and group discussions, and analyzed thematically. The research findings indicate that involving coastal communities directly in conservation efforts has positive impacts both socially and environmentally. This empowerment program successfully enhances the awareness of coastal communities regarding the importance of conserving natural resources and strengthens their involvement in such efforts. In conclusion, coastal community empowerment is an effective approach to natural resource conservation, with the potential to create sustainable positive changes in coastal communities.

This article outlines the concepts and strategies that can be used to strengthen community engagement and empowerment in the context of rural development. By using a participatory and needs-based approach, environmental communities can actively participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating various development programs and projects. Through cross-sector collaboration and the utilization of local resources, environmental communities can enhance their capacity and self-reliance in addressing environmental and social challenges. Thus, this article provides practical guidance for stakeholders to accelerate the village development process through inclusive and resilient sustainable development.

Abstract

Character education has become the main focus in facing current global challenges. Amidst the dynamics of society, community service has become an effective strategy to realize character education. This research aims to explore and analyze the impact of community service programs in strengthening character education, with a focus on Village X. The research methods used are participatory observation, interviews, and document analysis. The research results show that the community service program in Village X has successfully increased awareness of moral values, ethics, and social responsibility among the community. Additionally, this program also provides a positive contribution in developing social skills and leadership among participants, especially the younger generation. The implications of this research highlight the need for more support and collaboration between educational institutions, the government, and the community in implementing community service programs to strengthen character education.
