Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of trust on word of mouth (WOM) with congruence and attitudes as intervening variables, with a case study on Go-Food services in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. In this context, trust is considered the main factor influencing consumer WOM behavior, while congruence (the match between expectations and experiences) and attitudes act as mediators connecting trust with WOM. This study uses a quantitative method with data collection techniques through surveys of Go-Food users in the Special Region of Yogyakarta as many as 340 respondents. The sampling technique uses a non-probability sampling technique using the purposive sampling method which is then processed using the PLS-SEM statistical analysis tool using SmartPLS software version 3.0. The results of the study indicate that trust has a significant positive effect on WOM, both directly and through consumer attitudes as an intervening variable. In addition, congruence is also proven to mediate the relationship between trust and attitudes, which in turn increases the tendency of consumers to share positive experiences about Go-Food services. The implication of this finding is the importance for companies to maintain and increase consumer trust levels, create experiences that match expectations, and build positive customer attitudes to strengthen WOM. This study contributes to the development of consumer relationship-based marketing strategies, especially in the food delivery application service industry.

Abstract

The hospitality industry in Indonesia faces significant challenges in balancing business growth with environmental responsibility. This study aims to review the role of Environmental Management Accounting (EMA) in enhancing green competitive advantage and sustainable performance in the hospitality sector. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this study analyzes 10 articles from a total of 60 relevant articles identified through Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar from 2019–2024. The selected articles cover research related to EMA and the factors influencing its implementation. The findings reveal that EMA plays a crucial role as a mediator in the relationship between green competitive advantage and sustainable performance. Studies by Saputra et al. (2023) and Noor & Bano (2023) indicate that implementing EMA can strengthen competitiveness and improve environmental management efficiency, contributing to sustainable performance outcomes. Additionally, institutional and regulatory pressures, as discussed by Che Ku Kassim et al. (2020) and Elhossade et al. (2020), encourage hospitality companies to adopt EMA practices effectively. EMA serves a strategic role in supporting sustainability in Indonesia's hospitality sector by helping firms enhance green competitiveness and environmental efficiency. Committed management and strong regulatory frameworks are essential for successful EMA implementation. This study recommends stronger management commitment and regulatory support to promote broader EMA adoption in the hospitality industry for long-term sustainability.

Abstract

Study This aims to know the factors that become company constraints and strategies for realizing the presence of attitude discipline among employees at PT. Sunindo Prima Gate. Research This uses an approach study with the technique of interview and observation data collection. Based on the results, the study found that the actor's reason for delay covering personal habits like management, bad time, low motivation work, and lack of awareness about the importance of discipline in operating is not quite enough to answer for a professional. In addition, the absence of awards also contributes to low motivation, the emptiness of the HRD position, and lack of supervision, which also results in violation of discipline and often not getting strict sanctions. Research This highlights the emptiness of the HRD position at PT. Sunindo Gapura Prima has a significant impact on employee discipline. The absence of an HRD who should play a role as a connector between management and employees causes a lack of systematic monitoring and evaluation of behavior-disciplined employees. Without the existence of HRD, the company has difficulty consistently applying policy discipline and giving further instructions for repairing problem discipline.

Abstract

Electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) on social networking sites (SNS) has become crucial in shaping consumers’ online purchase intentions, reflecting the increasing reliance on the wealth of user-generated content and recommendations shared on these platforms. This study aims to investigate the relationships between eWOM information factors, including information usefulness, information adoption, attitude toward information, and their impact on online purchase intentions. This study uses a quantitative approach, utilizing a questionnaire to collect data from 340 individuals who actively engage in eWOM activities on various SNS platforms. Statistical analysis was conducted using partial least squares structural equality modelling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that information usefulness has a positive and significant effect on attitude toward information, information usefulness has a positive and significant effect on online purchased intention, attitude toward information has a positive and significant effect on online purchased intention, attitude toward information has a positive and significant effect on information adoption, and information adoption has a positive and significant effect on online purchased intention. This suggests that consumers may have a favourable view of eWOM content and actively adopt it. Information adoption emerges as an important determinant of online purchase intention, emphasizing the importance of promoting user engagement and trust in eWOM information. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of online consumer behaviour and provide valuable guidance for stakeholders who wish to leverage eWOM effectively in digital marketing.

Abstract

Conflict is a fundamental aspect of human interaction, spanning individual, group, and organizational levels. Traditionally viewed as a barrier, modern perspectives recognize conflict as a catalyst for innovation and system improvement when managed effectively. Philosophical approaches to conflict management emphasize the importance of understanding its roots and leveraging differences constructively, integrating principles of justice, ethics, and communication. This shift in approach-from avoidance to one of strategic engagement-positions conflict as an opportunity for growth and harmony within organizational contexts. The paper examines conflict dynamics through its types, causes, and impact, therefore showing its dual nature to either disrupt or improve organizational process. Conflicts arise out of various reasons relating to resource limitation, cultural differences, and breakdowns in communication, which, when responded to with philosophical insights, can result in creative problem solving and increased productivity. This research by the authors emphasizes a structured approach-from identifying conflict and analyzing its causes to implementing the solution and evaluating it-as the only way to convert challenges into opportunities.A holistic approach will enable the organization to redefine conflict as part of harmony. The various approaches to conflict management at a philosophical level will encourage collaboration, creativity, and synergy in promoting organizational elasticity in a turbulent environment. These results plead for ethical, inclusive strategic conflict resolution that will help to attain continuous development with cohesive interpersonal or intergroup relationships.

Abstract

This research uses the literature review method. The purpose of this research is to identify the opportunities and challenges faced by Indonesian MSMEs in the global market, particularly in the era of Society 5.0. The results of this study show that the contribution of Indonesian MSMEs is minimal due to the many challenges they face, such as (1) low productivity of MSMEs, indicated by the tendency for MSMEs to act as sales partners, (2) high import volumes leading to the emergence of predatory pricing practices, (3) limited physical and non-physical infrastructure, (4) limited access to business financing and legality, and (5) the limited capacity of human resources in Indonesia. Despite these challenges, in the era of Society 5.0, Indonesian MSMEs also have great opportunities, marked by the emergence of the digital ecosystem concept (e-commerce) and broader global market opportunities due to the liberalization of international trade. Therefore, it is hoped that with these significant opportunities, Indonesian MSMEs will continue to thrive in the global market and contribute positively in terms of employment and national economic growth.
