Abstract

Pembentukan perilaku positif di tingkat sekolah dasar merupakan landasan penting dalam perkembangan karakter siswa di masa mendatang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model pendidikan karakter yang terintegrasi, yang dapat mendukung pembentukan perilaku positif pada siswa, meliputi aspek moral, sosial, emosional, dan spiritual. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa: (1) upaya komprehensif yang melibatkan seluruh elemen sekolah-termasuk guru, staf, dan orang tua-sangat penting untuk mendukung pembentukan perilaku positif dan pengembangan kepribadian siswa secara efektif; (2) peran sekolah dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung melalui strategi pembelajaran yang tepat, pembiasaan nilai-nilai positif, dan keteladanan dari guru sangat berpengaruh; dan (3) keterlibatan erat antara sekolah dan orang tua memberikan dampak positif yang lebih signifikan dalam mendorong perkembangan perilaku siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya kolaborasi antara sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat dalam mendukung pengembangan perilaku positif siswa sekolah dasar secara terpadu dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research examines the dualism of challenges in digitalising Islamic education - the need to adopt technology to improve competitiveness versus the fear of erosion of traditional values and Islamic identity. Using a qualitative method with a contemporary hermeneutic approach and literature research type, this study conducts a comprehensive analysis of primary (classical works of Al-Ghazali, Al-Shatibi, Ibn Ashur) and modern (Jasser Auda, Mohammad Hashim Kamali, Ahmad Al-Raysuni) sources, as well as relevant secondary sources. The research results identified four models of Maqasid Al-Shariah reinterpretation in the context of the digitalisation of Islamic education: teleological-contextual (Jasser Auda), systemic-holistic (Mohammad Hashim Kamali), integration-interconnection (Amin Abdullah), and transformative-reconstructive (Ebrahim Moosa and Tariq Ramadan). The research also found that Maqasid Al-Shariah provides five main evaluative dimensions that can be applied in assessing the digitalisation of Islamic education: protection of religion (hifz al-din), protection of the soul (hifz al-nafs), protection of the intellect (hifz al-'aql), protection of offspring (hifz al-nasl), and safety of property (hifz al-mal). Abstract

This study aims to examine how the digital storytelling method can be used as a means of revitalizing classical narratives in learning Islamic tarikh for the millennial generation. Using a qualitative research approach based on library research, this study analyzes various academic literature and relevant classical and contemporary Islamic scholarly sources. The results show that digital storytelling can be an effective pedagogical medium to convey Islamic history in a contextual, interesting and meaningful way. The transformation of classical narratives into digital formats-such as animated videos, podcasts, and interactive infographics-increases learners' absorption, interest in learning, and emotional engagement. In addition, this method is in line with the visual, fast-paced and technology-based learning characteristics of the millennial generation. In the context of Islamic education, digital storytelling not only functions as a medium for delivering material, but also as a means of character building, value internalization, and strengthening students' Islamic identity. This study concludes that digital storytelling has great potential in recontextualizing Islamic history and becoming an epistemological bridge between classical scientific traditions and the challenges of the digital world. Therefore, the integration of this method in the Islamic tarikh curriculum is an important strategy in responding to today's pedagogical needs. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the integration of constructivist approaches with MindMeister technology in improving students' understanding of Islamic Education learning in the context of Fiqh Muamalah in the digital era. The research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach through a comprehensive analysis of relevant scientific literature. To this end, three main problem formulations of the urgency of a constructivist approach in learning Fiqh Muamalah in the digital era, strategies and steps for the implementation of digital mind mapping based on MindMeister, as well as the integration of these two approaches for improving students’ understanding were examined. The results of the study showed that the urgency of the constructivist approach in the learning of Fiqh Muamalah lies in the need to transform the learning paradigm towards student-centered learning that is responsive to the characteristics of digital natives, with the complexity of the concept of Fiqh Muamalah which requires the construction of active knowledge through social interaction and metacognitive reflection. MindMeister's implementation strategy followed a systematic framework with four main strategies: technology adaptation, constructivist pedagogy, learning differentiation, and continuous assessment, which are implemented through three stages, namely preparation and needs analysis, mind map template design, and implementation with continuous monitoring. Constructivist-MindMeister integration has been shown to improve students’ understanding through three fundamental mechanisms: collaborative knowledge construction, adaptive digital scaffolding, and structured metacognitive reflection, which results in improvements in the dimensions of conceptual, procedural, and contextual understanding. This research contributes to the development of the Islamic Digital Pedagogy Framework and provides innovative recommendations for professional development, adaptive assessment, research partnerships, and blended learning models in contemporary Islamic education. Abstract

Early childhood playtime education for children aged 4-6 years can be implemented through media and Children aged 4–6 years are in their golden age of development, where effective learning needs to be tailored to the characteristics of children's play. Al-Qur'an education at this stage has a strategic role in instilling Islamic values, morals, and spirituality from an early age. This study aims to explore the concept and implementation of the mauizhah (wise counsel) approach in early childhood education from the perspective of the Qur’an, hadith, and educational practices in educational institutions. The issues examined include: (1) how the concept of mauizhah is understood in the Qur’an and hadith for young children; (2) how it is implemented at RA Bunga Bangsa Cirebon; (3) how effective the method of delivering mauizhah through stories, role modeling, spiritual dialogue, and instilling values is in shaping children's character; and (4) how teachers, parents, and the environment work together to educate children in accordance with the Qur'an. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the main subjects being students in Group B at RA Bunga Bangsa, and secondary subjects including teachers, the school principal, and parents. The research findings indicate that the mauizhah approach integrated through expressive storytelling is effective in instilling moral values. The novelty of this study lies in the development of a Qur’anic learning model based on mauizhah that is contextual and collaborative between home and school. This approach is relevant for strengthening children’s character in modern era.

Abstract

This study is grounded in the recognition that moral education constitutes a fundamental component in shaping human character, particularly when derived from the universal ethical principles of the Qur’an. Surah Luqman is selected as the primary textual source because it presents a comprehensive set of moral instructions, including the affirmation of monotheism, gratitude, worship, filial piety, social ethics, and self-discipline. The purpose of this research is to examine the concept of moral education in Surah Luqman through a comparative analysis of classical and contemporary exegetical works, thereby offering a deeper and more holistic understanding. This study employs a library research method, drawing from authoritative tafsir literature and supporting scholarly references. A thematic content analysis is used to identify the core educational values conveyed in the selected verses. The findings indicate that Luqman’s moral framework encompasses spiritual, ethical, and socio-behavioral dimensions that remain highly relevant to contemporary educational contexts. These values contribute significantly to the development of learners’ character.

Abstract

Generasi Z di Indonesia menghadapi krisis kesehatan mental yang serius akibat tekanan algoritma digital, dengan lebih dari 37% mengalami gejala gangguan mental dan 75% berisiko mengalami burnout sebelum usia 30 tahun. Algoritma media sosial yang dirancang untuk memaksimalkan keterlibatan pengguna menciptakan berbagai masalah psikologis seperti kecemasan, depresi, FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), dan komparasi sosial yang tidak sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model intervensi psikospiritual berbasis tafsir Al-Qur'an yang secara spesifik dirancang untuk membantu Generasi Z mengatasi tekanan algoritma digital. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan tafsir maudhu'i (tematik), penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an yang relevan dengan kesehatan mental melalui rujukan pada Tafsir Al-Misbah karya M. Quraish Shihab, Tafsir Al-Azhar karya Hamka, dan Tafsir Fi Zhilalil Qur'an karya Sayyid Quthb. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Al-Qur'an menawarkan kerangka terapeutik yang komprehensif melalui lima pilar utama: dzikir, tawakkal, sabr, syukur, dan muraqabah. Dzikir berfungsi sebagai detoks spiritual yang memutus siklus ketergantungan pada validasi digital; tawakkal mengatasi kecemasan berlebihan dan FOMO; sabr membangun resiliensi mental menghadapi tekanan digital jangka panjang; syukur menjadi antitesis dari perbandingan sosial negatif; dan muraqabah membentuk kontrol internal terhadap perilaku digital. Validasi empiris dari berbagai penelitian menunjukkan efektivitas intervensi berbasis spiritualitas Islam, di mana kombinasi digital detox dengan praktik dzikir terbukti mengurangi kecemasan, meningkatkan kualitas tidur, dan memperbaiki fokus mental. Model intervensi ini memiliki keunggulan kontekstual untuk masyarakat Indonesia yang mayoritas Muslim dan menawarkan pendekatan holistik yang mengintegrasikan dimensi kognitif, afektif, behavioral, dan spiritual. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam menjembatani khazanah tafsir klasik-kontemporer dengan tantangan kesehatan mental era digital, serta membuka jalan baru bagi pengembangan intervensi kesehatan mental berbasis nilai spiritual Islam yang ilmiah, aplikatif, dan transformatif bagi Generasi Z.

Abstract

Inclusive education has become a central focus of global educational reforms aimed at ensuring equitable learning opportunities for all learners, including those with disabilities. In Nigeria, efforts to integrate inclusive practices into basic education continue to face implementation challenges; therefore, understanding teachers’ perceptions is essential for effective policy execution. This study investigated upper basic Islamic Studies teachers’ perceptions, knowledge, and attitudes toward the incorporation of an inclusive education system in Kwara State, Nigeria. A descriptive survey design was employed, and 200 Islamic Studies teachers were selected through multi-stage, stratified, cluster, and purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected using an adapted questionnaire titled Islamic Studies Teachers’ Perceptions of Inclusive Education (ISTPIE). The instrument’s reliability was confirmed through a test–retest procedure, yielding a coefficient of 0.86. Descriptive statistics (percentage, mean, and standard deviation) were used to answer the research questions, while independent t-test and ANOVA were applied to test the hypotheses at the 0.05 significance level. Findings indicated that teachers exhibited moderate levels of perception, knowledge, and attitude toward inclusive education. Results further showed no significant differences in teachers’ perceptions based on gender or educational qualification. The study concludes that although Islamic Studies teachers possess basic awareness of inclusive education, concerns persist regarding its feasibility due to systemic constraints. This research contributes empirical evidence to support policy dialogue on teacher preparedness and highlights the need for targeted professional development to enhance teachers’ capacity for effective, inclusive classroom practices.

Abstract

This study examines the emerging transformation of Hajj education in Nigeria within the context of digitalisation and organisational reform. The need for this research arises from long-standing challenges associated with fragmented training structures, inconsistent dissemination of information, and limited technological integration in the preparation of Nigerian pilgrims. Although existing studies have explored administrative and logistical dimensions of Hajj management, they have not sufficiently analysed the educational implications of NAHCON’s reforms from the perspective of Islamic Education. The purpose of this research is therefore to investigate how digital innovations and organisational restructuring within the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) have shaped the design, delivery, and effectiveness of Hajj education. The study adopts a qualitative documentary analysis method, drawing on official guidelines, organisational documents, statutory instruments, and relevant scholarly literature. The findings reveal that NAHCON has developed a more coherent and standardised national system of Hajj education supported by three major developments: the introduction of digital platforms for registration, information management, and communication; the strengthening of organisational structures that coordinate training and orientation; and the emergence of an implicit national curriculum that integrates ritual instruction, health education, safety protocols, logistical preparation, and financial literacy. These developments represent a significant shift from earlier decentralised systems and demonstrate the growing alignment between religious education and technological-organisational innovation. The study concludes that NAHCON’s reforms have enhanced the accessibility, consistency, and professionalism of Hajj education in Nigeria. Its contribution lies in reframing Hajj preparation as an organised educational process, offering new insights for Islamic Education scholarship, Hajj administrators, and policymakers seeking to improve large-scale religious learning systems.

Abstract

This research paper presents a critical analysis of the scholarly literature that has addressed the role of public relations in middle schools as a strategic tool to enhance the quality of institutional and communicative performance within the school environment. The study aims to explore how researchers and educational specialists have approached the concept of public relations, identify prevailing research trends, and uncover existing knowledge and methodological gaps in previous studies. The paper adopts the Literature Review Analysis method using a descriptive-analytical approach and reviews thirty peer-reviewed Arabic and international academic sources. The findings reveal that public relations serve as a vital tool for building a positive image of the school and strengthening trust with parents and the local community. However, its practice in middle schools still suffers from weak structuring, shortcomings in communication strategies, and a lack of professional specialization. The paper concludes with a set of practical and research-oriented recommendations to further develop this critical role.
