Abstract

Improving the quality of Islamic education at Madrasah Aliyah requires a holistic approach, one of which is through curricular integration. This research aims to analyze the implementation of synchronization integration in improving the quality of Islamic religious education at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Kuningan. The research method used is a qualitative approach, aiming to explain phenomena such as implementation, policies, curricular integration, evaluation, etc., holistically. Data collection includes observation, interviews, and documentation, with data analysis techniques involving data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Findings indicate that all elements and activities at MAN 1 Kuningan show integration or interdependence, enhancing effective and efficient learning and producing quality students ready to adapt to society. Additionally, curricular integration at MAN 1 Kuningan focuses not only on knowledge transfer but also on character and ethics development. Results show that students not only understand religious concepts but also apply them in daily life, thus forming a strong foundation for achieving Islamic educational goals of intellectual excellence and moral integrity. Abstract

Human nature (fitrah) is basic potential that Allah Swt has made to each individual, includes a tendency toward truth, faith, and goodness. In the Quran, human fitrah is identified as a core aspect that must be preserved and developed, as highlighted in Surah Ar-Rum [30]:30. This article examines the concept of fitrah from the Quranic perspective, exploring its definition linguistically and terminologically, alongside various manifestations of fitrah such as purity, monotheism (tauhid), and the tendency to accept the truth. The relevance of fitrah in Islamic education is a central focus, emphasizing that education aligned with fitrah can cultivate insan kamil (the complete human) through integrating spiritual, intellectual, and moral values. This Study used a descriptive qualitative method and collects data through literature study. This study was intended to provide a philosophical framework for Islamic education in designing teaching methods that not only focus on academics but also foster holistic character development. The findings are expected to serve as a key reference for educational practitioners in creating balanced approaches to worldly and spiritual aspirations. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the exploration of the Hannafin and Peck model as an alternative innovative learning approach in PAI subjects. The Hannafin and Peck model is a learning design model that consists of three phases. 1) requirements analysis phase, 2) design phase, 3) development and implementation phase. This model is product-oriented, usually learning mesdia such as learning videos, learning multimedia, or modules. This research uses a qualitative approach with a 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate) aimed at producing or perfecting certain products, and testing the effectiveness of these products. The result obtained show that this model is considered good and effective if implemented as an alternative innovative learning approach, because it is an update to existing learning models. However, the expected results have not yet reached a perfect level because of the various challenges and phase that must be passed. The products produced are in the form of modules (printed teaching materials), learning videos, and students making the Palestinian flag as a form of empathy and sympathy for Muslim countries. Abstract

This research wants to discuss various problems in the world of education, namely that many educators still use conventional media such as lecture or question and answer methods which result in learning being inactive, thus affecting the quality of learning outcomes. This research aims to see how the role of using smartboard media in the learning process can improve students' understanding, especially in Islamic studies. Researchers used observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results of this research show that the presence of smartboards at Prestige Bilingual School in the teaching and learning process in Islamic studies has a positive impact, where smartboards become an attraction to provide a feeling of joy and comfort, thereby encouraging students to learn, which of course can increase understanding and strengthen students' memories of Islamic Religious Lessons. Like humans who are not perfect, this smartboard media also has its drawbacks, namely that the price is relatively expensive, making some school institutions think again about using it, as well as technicians who are still rarely found. The educators here have not received special training to master smartboards so not all educators use smartboard media in the learning process at school and this smartboard requires electricity, if it goes out then it cannot be run. Abstract

This research aims to identify the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in overcoming learning difficulties at MTs. Pink 03 through the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The type of research applied is field research. The data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews and documentation.The results of this research show that PAI teachers effectively utilize the CTL learning model to increase student involvement, understand Islamic concepts, and stimulate interest in learning. The implications of these findings can contribute to the development of more adaptive PAI learning strategies in various educational contexts. Abstract

This research focuses on how the students of SMP Negeri 2 Gunung Jati apply religious character values in the activities of princesses. The context of this research is the role of schools in shaping the religious character of female students. Middle school students are very vulnerable to environmental influences, especially in terms of character growth and spiritual values. Therefore, it is important for junior high school students to implement religious character values through princess activities. This will help them develop an Islamic identity, strong morals and good character qualities.This research aims to explain how schoolgirls apply religious character values in daily life, both at school and at home, through princess activities.This research was conducted using narrative qualitative method. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. This research collected data through observation of women in prayer rooms or classrooms and in-depth interviews with female supervisors. This research uses the techniques of collecting, reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions.The results revealed that students of SMP Negeri 2 Gunung Jati can apply religious character values through princess activities. This princess activity has fostered students to have good morals, discipline, school rules, respect for teachers and parents. Abstract

Sunan Gunung Jati is an important figure in the spread of Islam in the Cirebon region, a city and district at the northern tip of West Java. There are messages left to be studied and put into practice in the context of Islamic religious education. This article discusses the meaning and implementation of Sunan Gunung Jati's "ingsun entrusts tajug and the poor" in contextual learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This testament contains an important message about the importance of maintaining a balance between human relationships with Allah Swt (hablum minallah) and human relationships with fellow humans (hablum minannas). PAI contextual learning emphasizes the relationship between theory and practice in real life. The testament "ingsun entrusts tajug and the poor" can be used as a basis for developing more effective and meaningful PAI contextual learning. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The phenomenological approach emphasizes the direct description of individual subjective experiences. This means researchers seek to understand human experience directly through observation, interviews, or direct experience. This means the researcher seeks to understand the essence or core meaning of the individual experience or phenomenon being studied. The aim of this research is to provide a basis for developing curriculum and learning practices that are oriented towards character development and a holistic understanding of religion, as well as being able to interpret Islamic religious education learning in a contextual form. Abstract

This study aims to examine the development of Islamic Religious Education teaching modules based on local wisdom of the Babad Kebo Kicak Karang Kejambon story which includes (1) the planning process for developing Islamic Religious Education teaching modules based on local wisdom of the Babad Kebo Kicak Karang Kejambon story (2) the effectiveness of developing Islamic Religious Education teaching modules based on local wisdom of the Babad Kebo Kicak Karang Kejambon story. The method used in this study is research and development (R&D) using the Thiagarajan 4D model, namely define, design, development, and disseminate. The results of the study showed a validity score of 80% from learning practitioner experts, 89% from material experts, and 90% from teaching module review experts. The effectiveness test using pre-test and post-test showed that this teaching module was effective. The small-scale test obtained a score of 68.46%, while the large-scale test obtained a score of 71.7%, with an increase of 3.24%. In addition, the student response questionnaire to the teaching module showed that this teaching module was very interesting, with a score of 91.6% in the small-scale test and 96.94% in the large-scale test, indicating an increase of 5.34%. The practical implications of this study, the success of the validation and trial of the module with very good results (expert validation 80-90% and student response 91.6-96.9%) indicate that the integration of local wisdom in Islamic Religious Education learning can be an effective approach to improving student understanding. Abstract

This study aims to examine the phenomenon of cybercrime, especially online sexual crimes (cybersex), from an Islamic perspective and the role of Islamic education and criminal law in overcoming it. Online sexual crimes are increasingly growing along with the rapid progress of information and communication technology, which raises new challenges in the fields of law and morality. In this context, Islamic education and the criminal law system have an important role in preventing and eradicating such acts.This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analytical approach, collecting data from Islamic law sources and criminal law studies related to cybercrime at SMP Islam Plered Cirebon. The results of the study indicate that Islamic education can provide a strong moral foundation in preventing the misuse of technology, while Islamic and state criminal law offer strict sanctions for perpetrators of cybersex. The implementation of both in society is expected to create better awareness and self-control among individuals. The social implications of this study show the importance of integration between religious education and law in building a society that is aware of the negative impacts of technology. The role of families, educational institutions, and the government in providing education about the dangers of cybersex as well as strict law enforcement is needed to create a safe and responsible cyberspace. The results of this study have implications for the need to strengthen Islamic education and curriculum on digital ethics, reform the legal system, develop comprehensive prevention programs involving the role of parents, and increase digital legal literacy in society to deal with cybersex problems effectively. Abstract

The high level of academic stress in students of the PAI Study Program at UIN Sumatra Utara Medan is caused by academic demands, social pressure, and family expectations. The data show a significant prevalence of academic stress globally (38-71%), Asia (39.6-61.3%), and Indonesia (36.7-71.6%). This academic stress negatively impacts students' concentration, problem-solving abilities, and academic performance, even though they have an advantage in faith-based coping strategies. This study aims to find out what are the factors that affect the academic stress of study program students and find out how PAI study program students in overcoming the problem of academic stress at the UIN Sumatra Utara Medan. This study uses quantitative descriptive research. This study uses the data collection method used is the questionnaire method. Questionnaires used by researchers as research instruments. The data was taken using a questionnaire to students to determine the level of academic stress in classroom learning. The results of this study show that there are two factors. Namely: the first factor when students can overcome academic stress by: sharing stories about the problems they are facing with peers, asking for moral support from friends, and sharing stories about the problems they are facing with parents. While the second factor when students overcome academic stress by: taking advantage of free time to do assignments, and immediately do assignments. The implications of this study show that the handling of academic stress in PAI students requires a comprehensive and integrated approach. The findings that students use a combination of social strategies (sharing stories with friends and parents, seeking moral support) and time management strategies (working on tasks immediately, making use of free time) provide important guidance for educational institutions to develop more effective support systems.
